Alvaro | War-Forged | Farmer
If you haven’t found something strange during the day; it hasn’t been much of a day
Creaking and terrible squealing put an end to Alvaro’s already short sleep. Furniture slid annoyingly loud over the wooden floor and in the room next door smashed a heavy table into the wall. A book trickled out of a shelf above his bed and bounced against his back before it fell on the ground. It took only a moment for the adrenaline to flood his veins and in the mere blink of an eye, the farmer rose to his feet, suddenly wide awake, and ran outside. Even though the sleepiness was gone almost immediately, the farmer needed a few moments to realise what was going on. The earth was still shaking and caused him almost to tripping over his own legs as he charged out of the door. Behind the small house a few old willow trees groaned and the leaves on the thin branches trembled in the earth’s rhythm. Eventually some of the threes lost the fight. Their trunks splintered and hit the ground, one after the other.
For a moment Alvaro just stood there, staring at the fallen trees, barely able to remain standing on his own hooves. Then his attention turned to his crops. The ones growing close to the earth got almost no damage, but the wooden frames he had build for many of the larger ones, that grew towards the sky, couldn’t stand the earthquake and one quick glance was enough to see that this harvest would turn out more than small. He could only pray that his sea fruit handled that force of nature a little better.
Slowly the earthquake fade away and his hooves moved safely again over the well known ground. Alvaro looked around and spotted some other horses on the surrounding farms. Fallen trees and other slight damage on houses and barns shaped the whole area. The earthquake came surprisingly, and probably not only for him. He was unharmed, but still a little unsteady on his hooves. His first thought was to check if someone else had less luck than him, and was in need of help, before he would clean up his own farmyard. But when he turned around something strange appeared in the corner of his eye. Alvaro blinked, once, twice, and then a third time, but the strange view didn’t disappeared.
He either had been really blind for the last few years, or what he saw was actually real. But it couldn’t be. In the distance he could make out a bulk of large, massive trees. He was too far away to notice any details, but something about them was utterly odd.
Heya guys! I'd like to open a skype chat for us! My skype is Ebbarie ,so just poke me and I'll ad you. I hope we have a great time together in this plot C:

Ezmeralda | War-Forged | Herder
The morning air was cool and dried the sweat that had already formed on her pelt from the farm work she had been doing before the sun got high enough in the sky to start burning her fur. It was nice and rewarding work to weed the ground of pesky, unwanted plants to and to see the crops she had planted start to sprout and show green, little leaves above the earth. She still had her bighorn sheep as well in the fields grazing peacefully just beyond the land she had cleared out for growing crops. It increased her workload to keep them and do her new job, but Ezmeralda just couldn’t bring herself to part with them. After all, she had inherited them all after the passing of her mother. They were all Ezmeralda really had left of her. Ezmeralda was out methodically watering her precious crops.
Her mind was a million miles away, or maybe just a hundred or two. She often wondered where Muiris was throughout the day or what he was doing, and those thoughts were often followed by a quick prayer to Kaia to protect him and keep him safe. Part of why she had become a farmer was for him. Ezmeralda wanted to be stable instead of constantly wandering and having to keep her focus on her sheep so that they didn’t end up either escaping or going the wrong way, and she also wanted to give him a comfortable, warm place to rest when he could be with her. Spending nights under the stars and in tents with him was pleasant, but Ezmeralda wanted to give Muiris a home, not some temporary settlement for the night that would be gone the next morning. She’d never told him all of that though, not wanting him to think that she had given up a job she had enjoyed just for him. Muiris was kind and thoughtful that way, always trying his best to be considerate and make sure she was happy even before himself.
Her green eyes turned toward the necklace he had given her as she gently lifted it with her telekinesis, and a smile painted itself across her face. Suddenly, Ezmeralda felt the ground beneath her shake. At first, she had thought she was just tired and overheated. She was beginning to imagine things, but then, the tremor grew in strength and the distant sound of rumbling reached her ears just as the earthquake threw her to the ground. The air left her lungs as she hit the ground with a thud, and she sucked in a breath of dust that choked her even more.
The quake seemed to go on for an eternity, an endless time of fear and uncertainty. Was she going to die, be crushed by the earth just as her parents had? Just as suddenly as the earthquake had started, it all stopped, leaving behind an eerie silence as if nothing left alive wanted to move in case they triggered another tremor.
Ezmeralda laid on the ground and allowed herself to catch her breath as the dust began to settle and reveal the damage around her. She tentatively rose to her hooves and gazed at the land around her. It was shaken and disturbed, the quake revealed cracks and parts of the earth that hadn’t been there before, but it seemed that she had been on the outskirts of the earthquake. Miles away was where the destruction really started, and just beyond that was a sight she had never seen before. There were trees, massive structures unlike anything else she had ever seen. Her legs trembled as she took a step forward, her eyes wide in terror. What were these strange trees, and where in Hireath had they come from?

1 | 639The early morning had started off how it always did for the hippocampus stallion: a brisk jog through Onea's cool air, his hooves carrying him over the mountain trail that surrounded his house. This was the time when he was able to be completely on his own, alone with his thoughts and the world around him. He cherished this moment, as War-Forged was notoriously reckless and always injured, it seemed. His day was always filled with wrapping bandages and prescribing medications.
When he returned to his home, sweat had already started gathering on his neck and face, clinging his messy hair to his skin. He shook his neck, causing his mane to bounce to the other side of his neck, the breeze cooling his damp coat. Just as he was about to push into his home, he stopped at the sight of a large bird standing by the door. Said bird had a note strapped to its back, and it seemed to be waiting patiently for the catfish stallion.
With a sigh, Gulliver reached down and took the note from its back, his soft red telekinetic grip glowing as he unfolded the paper. He skimmed it quickly before crumbling it up and throwing it behind him. It spoke of a young colt in the Farmlands who had gotten his hoof caught in a hole and - the parents think - broke his leg. Quickly, the medic swung open his door and dug around his messy home for his supplies, slipping his bags over his shoulders before taking off in a soft lope toward the Farmlands.
It didnt take him long to get there, but by the time he did, the stallion's nostrils were flaring with each breath. His ears pricked as he saw, what he thought was, two parents standing in the distance. He assumed their son was on the ground. Taking his time to walk over to them, mostly so he could catch his breath, Gulliver set to work without a word. He slid his bags to the ground and approached the colt, looking down at his leg. He didnt see any blood, nor did he see any evidence of a break. There were a few cuts, though, that he would wrap to make sure they didnt get infected.
Pressing his lips together, he glanced back at the parents with an accusing stare. So they were one of those. I bet they call a medic when he sneezes. The stallion thought to himself before clearing his throat.
"Your kid is fine, just bruised." He spoke in a stern tone, pulling a bandage and vile of water out of his bags. He poured the water on the wounds, holding the leg steady so the young one couldnt pull away. He then started to wrap it carefully. "I would suggest looking at it a little more closely next time before calling for a medic. We are very busy, you know."
Just as he finished tying off the wrap, the ground started to shake. His ears pressed back as he picked up his head and glanced around, noticing that everyone else felt it too. Quickly, the earthquake grew more and more violent. The stallion's already weak legs struggled to keep up, causing him to stumble to the ground. Rolling onto his belly, Gulliver waited for the quakes to cease, dust rising through the Farmlands. He coughed lightly as the tremors settled, slowly pulling himself back to his feet with a slight groan. Shaking off his coat, he glanced around quickly before his gaze locked on the strange trees that presented themselves. Brows narrowed, he started to approach them.
He contemplated asking if anyone was hurt, but decided against it. If someone was hurt, that someone would start complaining, and then he could take care of it. For now, he would save his breath.

Chirin War-Forged | Herder
The early morning was crisp and clear. Dew still collected on the blades of grass beneath the young colt's hooves. Chirin gazed around him from his spot atop a rocky bluff. He swore he could see Ezmeralda's farm from here. He smiled, thinking about the painted Unicorn mare he had shared so many adventures with. Even if their last major adventure didn't exactly end so well.
She was probably one of his favourite horses in the Farmlands. Always to kind and loving.
A sneeze snapped Chirin out of his thoughts. Looking down by his feet, Maple, his dog, have him an impatient whine. Chuckling, Chirin turned back to look at his Apana flock, safe in their pen at home just on the edge on the wide field. His breathe could be seen in the lightest of puffs as he sighed, turning back to stare at the reddening horizon. He loved watching the sunrise in this part of the Farmlands. The sun caught every wisp of morning fog, staining everything in red, orange and gold.
Chirin shifted to weight, trying to get his hooves comfortable on the hard ground.
The ground trembled.
Chirin froze, planting his hooves and widening his stance for stability. It was not even a moment later when the ground stopped. Maple whined and hid under the colt's belly and gave his leg a nervous lick. Chirin gave an airy laugh, trying to get the adrenalin to settle down.
But the earth wasn't done. The ground beneath Chirin began to rattle with a ferocity that he had never witnessed. He could hear the weak points in the bluff rocks crack wide open, even saw some give out and fall. He had to get away from the edge!
Too late.
Just as the colt was turning away, the earth beneath him gave out and he fell. His hooves scrambled for purchase but they couldn't catch on the rock. He only fell for a fraction of a second when he collided with the grass beneath.
Chirin, darted up and ran away form the falling rocks. The last thing he wanted was to get crushed. Maple was by his side in seconds, having fallen with him. The tremors slowed to a stop, and the colt looked around to see if any more damage had occurred -
WHAT IN THE NAME OF THE GODS WAS THAT?!
Chirin stared at the pale wall of... rock maybe? He was to far off to see if it really was rock, but what?! That was never there before. He had the farmlands memorized and not once had something like that ever shown up.
Suddenly filled with childish curiosity, Chirin started a brisk trot towards it, “C'mon Maple. Lets find out what that thing is.”

578 words 1st post Dancing on without a clue, she's been a very blind girl ► Isa rose just before dawn, legs still stiff from the day before. She took one quick glance around her small home and found her mother cooking as her sister Frida slept. She had hoped her father might be there, passed out on his cot or playing some game at the dining table, but it seemed he hadn't made it home from the taverns last night. This must've been at least the fifth time this month he hadn't returned, but Isa refused to count.
Her apatite now gone, the appaloosa said a small greeting to her mother before going out for some fresh air and to check on her flock. As she stepped out of their cramped hovel, she breathed in the chilled mountain air, felt it's cool touch all the way in her lungs, and listened as it warned of the approaching winter. Soon she and Frida would have to go into town and start stocking up. In Onea the snow came early and with little warning, so one had to be ready for it.
In no time at all, Isa had released her apana's from their pen and stood watch as they searched for where they'd left off the night before, hoping to eat the spot bare before tomorrow. She would flick her eyes downward to make note of where they all stood before moving her gaze up, scanning the surrounding countryside as her mind wandered.
Life was already moving in the clearing, one could see farmers and herders already at work as other horses with less obvious professions scurried on their way. Isa thought she recognized a few forms, such as the green horned fuzzball off in the distance, but many looked completely foreign to her. New and unpredictable. The mare shivered as she thought back to that summer, when the fields echoed with the cries of the Bloody Flanks, and that masked devil held a sword to her throat. While she doubted any of these strangers were capable of the same horrifying deeds she had witnessed then, she remained wary of them all.
The mare took a slow breath to calm herself, forcing the fear from that day aside as she tried to focus on her work. She took one step towards a wandering apana when a deep rumble erupted from the ground. Sounding at first like a hungry stomach before turning into a fearsome roar that shook the earth to its core. Frightened and without sure footing, the mare stumbled and fell onto her side, cutting her check on a rock as she hit the trembling earth.
"Dear gods!" She thought, squeezing her eyes closed and flattening her ears. "Please Kaia, make it STOP!" And suddenly, it did. when Isa opened her eyes it seemed as if she had imagined the whole thing, the earth was as stable as it had ever been, and outside of the slow trickle of blood from her face and the panicked cries of her flock, everything was the same. Except, perhaps, that looming shape in the distance that looked as if it was called out of the earth itself.
A large part of her wanted to hide from it. To run inside and cry under the covers and never leave. But her body wouldn't listen. Not only would her legs not turn around, but they carried her forward in a daze. Towards the others and towards that ominous shape as if called to it by some unseen force.

Evokar of the Stone CircleYou know that he will give them everything until there is nothing left of him A soft sigh escaped his lips as Evokar traveled into the farmlands. He was here to assure that everything was going well. To seek out if there were issues or something that perhaps he could help with. With his blessing, he could at least be helpful here in a way. His title, was almost a loss cause to the other Stone Circles. It's not that he could not blame them, he was young in the ways of this, but more importantly, different. Not in the good, way, no he was soft as a new born foal, he had no desire to fight, and seemed to value knowledge far more then swords and shields, much to his brethren demise. Still Evokar continued onward, unwilling to be forced to be something that he was not. As he got further into the farmlands, he was ready to speak to a local farmer, that was until the land began to shake. He felt the vibrations and out of instinct, the grass and weeds around him, whipped around his legs to hold him in place, as the land shook and trees feel down. Heart pounded against his chest as he looked wide eye, others were in panic, trying to assure none would get swept into the rocky earth, but what was here, was soon gone.
Heart began to settle as he looked around asking a few if they were alright as he trotted towards them, the vines and grass quickly leaving his legs. Many agreed, but when he heard a gasp, he couldn't help but follow their eyes. As he did, he stared in odd fascination. Evokar wanted to say something, to speak, but what words could he say that wasn't already on everyone's mind. What was that, those trees? He glanced about the area and snorted a bit, there was only one thing to do. Go closer. Evokar glanced about wondering if there was any others daring to get a closer look, in all honesty was it even something he should do? The trees were in the distance, and Evokar felt complied to go forwards. Shaking his head, he prayed to Kaia to look out for all of them. Dangerous times and this all felt like some sort of ill omen. Evokar trotted forwards hoping perhaps the way he could spot a more familiar face, or at least someone else having the same idea as himself. Gods don't let him be the only nitwit moving forwards, but as he walked onward, he asked if others were well, and bound and determind to let them know, this new ring of trees was something that will be dealt with. He had to reassure those near him, not allow fear and worry to strike its dark thorns into these horses.

Pele Your whole life's in the hand of God * Warning: foul language and a very angry kirin
Pele decided the more time she spent in Onea, the more she hated it.
Sure, it was fine when she was with the kirin child Grigori, fine when she didn't have to socialize with the locals, but this? Not fine.
It seemed that everyone in the herd had different tasks to attend to, including the medic that Pele was residing (begrudgingly) with. Before they left, they had suggested that the kirin go towards the farmlands to see if she could, as they put it, familiarize herself with the land.
Well, she was out here. And she hated it.
There was nothing interesting about the farmlands, just that it was - well, farms. Why was she out here? Why wasn't she with the other warriors, or "raiders" as they were called. From what she could recall, she was once a warrior too right? She sure as hell was built like one. Muscles rippled under scales, a tough armor one could only think that resulted from rigorous training.
Pele curled her lip as she thought about the damned rules of this herd. Why in Ignacio's name was she here in the godforsaken land? Horses telling her that her kind had been gone for a millennia and suddenly women weren't allowed to be warriors anymore? Fuck that. Hira's troop of Valkyries were cute (and their training routines were certainly laughable) but they weren't the toughest Pele had seen in a lifetime.
Vibrations in her hooves forced her from her thoughts, Pele's gaze flitting over the landscape as the ground seemed to buckle. Then it cracked. The force of the shifting earth and the weight of Pele's huge rack ended up throwing her onto her side with a loud "FUCK!"
Fuck this, fuck this land, fuck whoever decided that today was a good day to leave the house.
Once the earth had settled, Pele raised her head, her lips drawn back in a sneer. What in the fuck was that all about? Her sharp gaze noticed others farther down recovering from the tremors, and they were all staring at something...
"Oh great, I'm supposed to actually see what this is," Pele growled to herself, grunting as she pulled herself back on her hooves. By the gods, all she wanted to do was go home and never speak to any of these pathetic low breeds for the rest of eternity; however, going to see what this new spectacle was would keep her boredom at bay for just a little longer.
She just regretted the extra attention she was going to get by having these War-Forgers in her presence. Apparently, other equines had lost their respect for kirins over a millenia and would rather gawk than bow.
Saying nothing as she approached, she only pulled on her best "don't fuck with me" face and moved forward to observe the ring of trees.

Alvaro | War-Forged | Farmer
If you haven’t found something strange during the day; it hasn’t been much of a day
Slowly the trembling in his limbs started to fade and while he still stared in disbelief to the trees in the distance, his legs had already decided to move forward. Not far away from him a young colt seemed more than eager to reach the green cathedral. The unicorn was accompanied by a brown dog and gladly neither of the two appeared to be unjuried. But what isn’t already, maybe could happen later. Alvaro leaped into a gallop and tried his best to catch up with the red roan, but his heavy build made him a horrible sprinter. “Hey, boy! Wait for me!” he simply yelled puffing after a while. Once he saw that the colt actually turned around, he fell back into a calmer trot for the rest of the way. “Thanks! Are you alright?” the stallion asked first when he arrived. The curly unicorn didn’t seemed injured, but the appearance could be deceptive.
For a moment the farmers gaze went back to the sight of the trees in the distant. Alvaro was agitated with curiosity to know what exactly had happened in the distance, but it with the possibility of Bloody Flank’s or dangerous Vagabonds around it would be the best to exercise caution. The hippocampus slightly turned his head to find out if any other horses were on there way to the trees, too. Actually there were a few not far behind them. “My name is Alvaro. Maybe we should wait for the others and go on together....” he suggested. As much as he wanted to know what was going on, he wouldn’t risk another attack after what had happened to him with the Vagabonds not that long ago, especially not with a young colt at his side.
Suddenly his eyes stopped by the strange shape of a horse that was also walking towards them. At the first quick glance he had thought that it was a unicorn, but the closer the horse came the clearly it became that he was wrong. The colorful parts of it’s coat were no paint, but...something else. And on it’s head...it almost looked like….antlers?! “Grass and Stone, what is this?”

Chirin War-Forged | Herder
Chirin had tunnel vision, dead set on getting to the object, which was actually a ring of trees rather than stone. His metal bracers clicked together slightly whenever they accidentally brushed each other. The sun had peeked over the mountains now, as early morning set in over the Farmlands. Casting a glance to Maple, Chirin noticed she was getting a bit to ahead of him and sent her a sharp noise he made through his teeth to get her to fall back into step beside him.
“Hey, boy! Wait for me!”
The sudden voice startled Chirin a bit and the colt stopped in his tracks, looking behind him. A large champagne stallion was trying his best to catch up with him at a sprint, despite his size clearly being a handicap for him. He found a moment of humor in this as he remembered what it was like to watch Muiris try and run a full speed. Big horses were not exactly made to be fast.
But the surprise soon turned to utter and complete 'what the hell?'. Chirin could do nothing but just stare at the FINS ON THE STALLIONS BACK! He had heard of water horses, but he thought that just meant they were horses that lived by water and used boats. Not horses with literal FINS on them.
“Thanks. Are you alright?” the stallion asked as he finally caught up with Chirin. The colt tried his best not to stare, “Uh, yeah, just a bit sore is all. Fell off that bluff back there.” He answered plainly.
“My name is Alvaro. Maybe we should wait for the others and go on together...”
“I'm Chirin.” he said, also slightly surprised that Maple was just siting there by his legs. She usually barked and raised her hackles at strangers. Wait.... Others?
Glancing behind him, Chirin caught sight of other horses not far behind him and the odd fish-horse.
“Grass and stone, what is this?”
Chirin looked at the stallion in confusion. Following his gaze he soon found what he was looking at and it shocked the absolute hell out of him. “That's a Kirin,” he stated in disbelief, “Mama told me they were just stories. Created by Ignacio in his own image.”
Maple's sharp barks made the colt jump a bit and the small dog started to wag her tail so hard Chirin thought it would snap off. Scanning the field to find what had gotten her so excited, he found two VERY familiar faces. Ones he was more than happy to see,
“Hi Ezzie! I'll talk to you in a minute!” He said as he started trotting excitedly over to another mare. Maple however, went to greet the painted unicorn mare, yipping happily and dancing between her legs.
“Isa, Isa, Isa!!!” Chirin picked up his pace to a slight run, all smiles and giddy childish energy. He slowed down a bit, but the damp grass made it hard and he slid into his cousins chest in a hug, “Hi Isa!”

Ezmeralda | War-Forged | Herder
Fear gripped Ezmeralda to the point that her legs were trembling underneath her or maybe it was just that the earthquake had shaken her up pretty badly. Whatever it was though, she didn't want to move in fear that she would topple over and fall into some hole in the earth that would send her down to its core, so instead, her green eyes turned to the area around her, her ear swiveling forward at the sound of voices. Oh thank Kaia, she wasn't alone.
She heard excited, high-pitch barking before she saw the shape of a furry, little creature run toward her, but Ezmeralda didn't flinch away from the sudden noise, knowing exactly who the pup belonged to. "Hi, Maple." Ezmeralda greeted the dog and patted her gently with her telekinesis. Now where could her owner be? She hoped that Maple wasn't rushing over to her because Chirin was hurt, but to be this excited and happy looking, perhaps he was okay after the quake.
"Hi, Ezzie!" Ezmeralda heard and breath a sigh of relief as she turned toward the familiar voice with a small smile. "Chirin! I'm so glad that you're okay." Or at least, he looked uninjured though a little dirty from probably falling onto the ground. She wished the poor kid didn't have to go through the things that he had been through like the raid by the Bloody Flanks and this natural disaster. Children deserved to able to act like children, and Ezmeralda couldn't say that she had ever seen another adult or parent with him so perhaps he had to be his own adult and make grownup decisions for himself. 'Poor kid... at least he seems happy though.' The unicorn mare thought as she watched him trot over to another mare and gave her a hug.
Knowing that Chirin was alright, her attention turned toward the other herders and farmers around her. They all seemed to be standing close by or walking to be closer to the forming group, and Ezmeralda forced her feathered legs to move forward to join them. Maybe they were making a decision about those trees...
The horses there were an odd assortment that she mostly only knew by face and not names. There were a couple that caught her attention though. Among them was a hippocampus, a rare sight in Onea since most didn't dare venture into the freezing waters of their homeland, but the other made her breath catch in her throat. Scales glimmered on her body, and magnificent antlers curved gracefully out of her skull. She had heard tales of these equine and how they had been created by the fire god, Ignacio, but Ezmeralda had thought they were only a myth. "A kirin...?" Seeing the strange horse move closer, Ezmeralda instinctively backed up, and her side bumped into someone that had seemingly appeared beside her. Her eyes grew wide and apologetic as she turned to look over at the stallion she had bumped into. It was the hippocampus that she had noticed before. She must had drifted toward him while she was walking and probably gawking at the kirin. "I-I-I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to r-run into you." Ezmeralda said nervously, her head lowering in a submissive manner as she looked up at Gulliver's red eyes. "A-are you okay? No wounds after the earthquake?" She changed the subject, hoping to be helpful and kind to the stranger beside her.

2 | 478The stallion moved with a purpose toward the pale trees. He didnt have time for all this voodoo magic shit Hireath was trying to spring on him, and the sooner he could figure it out, the sooner he could go home. His attention was caught as another hippocampus shouted, trying to chase down a child who had decided to run toward the trees himself. Rolling his eyes, Gulliver let out a puff of a sigh. Let him go, maybe the trees will eat him.
Gulliver never really liked kids.
It was then that another voice spoke up, causing Gulliver to turn his head. He expected another equine, or unicorn perhaps, but instead he was met by the glare of scales. While everyone else gawked and backed away from the beast, Gulliver found himself rather disinterested. Kirins were not all that impressive. However, he did chuckle at her angry outbursts; it was almost as if she was reading his thoughts out loud.
Perhaps he had been distracted, but he suddenly felt another bump into him, briefly causing him to lose his balance. His legs crossed as he refound his bearings, before flattening his ears and turning to the culprit. What he saw was, he assumed, was a farmer. Her soil-caked hooves and dirty pelt told him as such. Her voice shook with nervous energy, her head down in a submissive manner.
Good.
He allowed his ears to press back up, though they now pointed to the side. "Oh, quit gawking, its just a unicorn with scales. Some love child of Kaia and Cascade." He spoke, not caring who heard him, as he tipping his head in the direction of the kirin. He was just about to step off and leave the draft mare behind when she spoke up once more. His lips pulled together in a straight line, a breath leaving his nostrils. Fine, he would socialize.
"Im fine." He replied with a jerk of his head, his tone perhaps harsher than he intended. In reality, his back legs were bothering him a little more than usual, his joints clicking with each step, but it wasnt anything he hadnt dealt with before. Damn, he was only forty years old, and he was already falling apart. "Are you okay? Looks like you had a bit of a fall." The medic finally added, not that he cared.. but it was his job to ask, anyways.
Glancing over his shoulder, he noticed as the rest of the group started gathering around the new trees. He tipped his head in their directions, his whiskers flicking from the quick movements. "Come on, now, lets go catch up. We wouldnt want to be late to the party." He suggested in a grumble before taking on a slow trot toward the slowly gathering group, his hind end slow to engage, his hooves dragging in the dirt.

Evokar of the Stone CircleYou know that he will give them everything until there is nothing left of him Attention turned towards what seemed to be a group for equine gathered together. All speaking amongst themselves, he was indeed interested, though his eyes caught sight of the Kirin, moving forwards with a face he would not want its fury upon himself. A short snort and he shook his head a bit. The young Stone Circle was at a loss for words in all honesty, what was there to say that had not been spoken. Eyes turned towards the small group once more, catching the words of an older hippocampus speaking of catching up. Orange eyes looked towards the large ghastly trees and sighed, it was best he should join the group. Safety in numbers? and yet a part of him craved to see the sight by himself to allow his thoughts and mind to unfold once more, and not worry about the words and speculations of others. But still he knew the righteous path over the selfish one.
With that notion he moved towards the group, dipping his head towards them. Now was not really the time for introductions, and Evokar still felt no need for words. Why speak when it was not wanted nor necessary? With a glance to the tree, he walked on wards with this small makeshift group, or what seemed to be curious and nervous equine with a few grumpy ones here and there. What a group indeed, he mused to himself. With a sure steady heart, he trotted on wards with the group.

PICTURE HERE Luana;War-Forged | Farmer Live life the way you see fit and grow with it. Early in the morning Luana was tending to her crops as she always does, as she walked around checking to see if everything was in order like it should be. Luana looked up at the morning sky as the sun was slowly rising, she still felt kind of tired so he legs was a little wobbly as she went on a little walk and started to observe the scene of the sun rising. As she was walking about the ground started to shake she pinned her ears back and her legs started to spread as she didn’t know what to do, as the earth started to crack she tried to take off sprinting but he legs was fumbling underneath her. As she fumbled to the ground and her back leg slipped into on the the cracks, dust covered around her as she started to cough. She tried to stand up but it was hard to grasp onto anything as her back leg kicked nothing but air, as the air slowly cleared she heard others nearby.
As Luana struggled to get her back legs up on land she just could grab onto anything but she held on, she heard others gasping as she looked towards them she saw massive group of tree’s and she went into a daze looking at them. She then looked throughout the crowd she saw what she also thought was a Myth, a Kirin she never thought she would ever see one they seemed quite Fascinating. As her eyes passed through the other horses gathering in a Group as they all was looking at the massive trees that appeared, as her legs dangled she completely forgot that she was stuck as her mind quickly traveled towards the trees and the Kirin.
“ Where did those come from I’ve never seen them before?” As many of the same questions crossed all of the horses minds they was all curious on how the trees got there and why did they just randomly appear. She also was wondering on how and why then Kirin was here also she was very Curious on this Kirin, she couldn’t keep her mind focused on just one but was curious on the trees. As she saw Alvaro she tried to holler his name but her voice was cracked from the dust stuck in her throat, “ ALV---” As she started to cough to get her throat cleared. She hadn’t really met anyone but him so he was the only familiar face that she couldn’t forget, as she kicked her back legs as she scraped her hooves against the dirt and cracked earth. As she finally pulled herself up she plopped on the ground, she was out of breathe and was already tired. As she her breath flowed out of her nostrils brust blew away from her as she lifted her head she looked at her back legs, she scraped her left leg had cuts up and down them.

Alvaro | War-Forged | Farmer
If you haven’t found something strange during the day; it hasn’t been much of a day
The large stallion was slightly irritated by the look the unicorn colt, Chirin, gave him, but he decided not to think about that much further. “I’m glad that you are alright, but maybe you should still visit a healer later. Just to be sure” he suggested kindly.
“That can’t be a Kirin. They are extinct” the stallion replied, but even in his own ears his voice sounded uncertain. The colt suddenly spotted a familiar face between the nearing horses and ran away before Alvaro could react. So instead he focused his attention back on the strange looking unicorn, he wouldn’t call it kirin, no way. Part of him wanted to get closer to them, but the bigger part of him clearly didn’t. Also the stranger had an expression on his face that didn’t seemed to friendly. So it probably would be the best to stay away from the strawberry roan for now.
Eventually the sound of a familiar voice catched his attention and after a while he found the mare and trotted towards her. “Luana, I didn’t knew you were home. Are you alright? “ he asked worried and gently nudged her shoulder. “I want to take a closer look at those trees, are you coming with me?” Over Luanas shoulder he catched sight of another, at least a little familiar face. Alvaro didn’t knew the bay tobiano unicorn in person, but the members of the Stone Circle were known throughout the citizens of Onea. When he walked pass him, Alvaro nodded at Evokar, both in welcome and respect.

Ezmeralda | War-Forged | Herder
Ezmeralda shrunk away from the hippocampus's harsh stare, falling back a few paces. She had barely bumped him or so she thought, but she supposed that most War-Forged were like him: tough and brutal folk that didn't take any sort of crap from anyone even if it were an accident. How in the world hadn't her herd shipped her off to Aodh yet to be a slave? Compared to most, she was very pathetic aside from her size and didn't stand up for herself most of the time, and she hated confrontation and arguments. Despite all the combat training she had done with one of her Valkyrie friends to build her confidence, it hadn't seemed to help out much aside from giving her a small chance in a fight. Maybe if she just ignored that hard stare of his, she could imagine that it had never happened.
"Oh, quit gawking, its just a unicorn with scales. Some love child of Kaia and Cascade." She heard him speak, and, before she could stop herself, she said, "Sorry," and wished she could take it back. 'Now, he'll really think that you're a big softy.' "It's just... I thought that they were extinct. It's so strange to see one." Ezmeralda said, lifting her head and trying her hardest to sound a bit more tough.
Her ears twitched at his gruff tone as the stallion said that he was fine and offered him a small nod of her head and a lopsided smile. "That's good." The unicorn mare said softly and glanced at the ground. Her long tail swished behind her as she fought the urge to wrap it around herself and fade away from his attention as she normally did when she felt uncomfortable or insecure. When he asked how she was, her green eyes flickered back towards him. "Oh, I-I'm fine. Just a few bruises from falling down pretty hard and knocking the wind out of me. I've been hurt worse." Ezmeralda said lightheartedly despite her mind drifting into memories that still plagued her with nightmares. The Bloody Flanks had definitely hurt her worse than a little fall. She glanced down at the necklace that hung from her neck, trying to draw strength from thinking of the special someone who had given it to her. 'Be strong for him,' the farmer thought to herself as she pushed away her flustered thoughts and anxiety.
In her flustered, embarrassed state, Ezmeralda almost forgot about the massive trees that she had been heading toward before she had spotted the scaled equine, and at Gulliver's suggestion, she nodded her head, picking up her large hooves to trot towards the gathering group.

3 | 341He lifted his brow as the painted mare mentioned she had been hurt worse. "Havent we all." He mumbled quietly under his breath with a cross tone. This was War-Forged. If they didnt get hurt every day, there was something greatly wrong.
The stallion peeked over his shoulder as he heard the draft mare turn to follow him. Well that was good, at least she had some sense to listen to him. However, he hoped she didnt consider him as her new "travel buddy" or whatever, as he had no intention of sticking close.. to anyone. As far as he could see, the other equine around sure were taking their sweet ass old times getting to the trees, but he, for one, was not.
Ignoring the small talk that filtered on around him, Gulliver set his sights on the pale trees and marched his way straight toward them, his thick feathering bouncing against his hooves with each step. He grimaced ever so slightly as he took a glance toward his legs, the farmland's soft dirt staining his white coat. Well, thats what he got for drifting from the mountains.
Grumbling as he approached the gathering group, he huffed through flared nostrils. "Some of us havent got all day." He barked before brushing past them, his ears flicking forward toward the trees as he approached. He sure was no warrior, but he knew better than to march into uncharted territory without his guard raised.
Without hesitation, he approached the new circle of trees, squinting as their pale bark seemed to give off a soft glow. He glanced up toward the sun before turning back to the trees. It was probably just glare from the sun- at least, thats what he was going to tell himself. Craning his neck up, he stared at the tappered, pale green needles that hovered above him. How odd.. He thought curiously, reaching out to touch a bundle of needles with his muzzle, only pausing once to draw in a breath. Well, they sure smelt like pine. (he touched the butt)

PICTURE HERE Luana;War-Forged | Farmer Live life the way you see fit and grow with it. As Luana raised up her body to stand up next to Alvaro, “I just got back this morning, but yes I’m alright just little cuts.” as she looked around and looked at everyone walking towards the trees. She was in a way very Curious about the trees but knew if she was to go over there to not let her guard down, as nobody knows what could be around or in those trees. “ Yes I’m coming, these trees seem Quite Interesting, I just don’t know how they appeared there as they wasn’t there before.” As Luana followed Alvaro she stuck to him close, but she was Preparing herself to protect the both of them if anything was to happen or jump out at them. She wasn’t more of a fighting type but she would if anyone close to her was in danger, she knows Alvaro can handle his own but rather protect him so he don’t get hurt in any way.
As she watched the group Approach the Massive trees she noticed that one of them was headed right towards them, it was a Hippocampus Stallion that she had yet to see before. She was also still trying to figure out if that horse was a Kirin or not, as she heard they was suppose to be Extinct or was told to also be a myth. “Hey I thought kirins was suppose to be Extinct or just a Myth? Or is that just a Unicorn with a Weird shaped horn?” As she softly Whispered to Alvaro, She wanted to in a way speak to this horse but she felt it wouldn’t like her company. As she looked around she saw a Draft Painted Mare which she looked really nice and she saw a few others but she was just as curious as they was, and probably has the same questions as they do on how or where did those massive trees come from.
As Luana Stuck at Alvaro side as they moved with the group, As as she nudges against Alvaro Shoulder in a way this made her nervous as she didn't know what could be around those trees but she tried to hide she was nervous. New things are exciting but it also makes her nervous and she didn't want to approach it at a fast pace just in case something was to happen, but she knew they needed to figure out what this was that was on their lands. So she slightly step in front of Alvaro and slowly breached her way to the Massive trees, she slowly flattened her ears again as she approached the trees she stayed at a certain pace with the group.

Evokar of the Stone CircleYou know that he will give them everything until there is nothing left of him Eyes looked tot he group and nodded to Alvaro. Though his attention turned to the others, one mare spoke mentioning some cuts and bruises. "Im glad no one is too harmed." he remarked with a coolness to his voice. He was indeed thankful, with everything that was happening, it seemed death lingered all around him. It only made the young unicorn stallion twitch his nose a bit. A hippocampus spoke and Evokar raised a brow ever so gently, he reminded him a bit of another, a large draft mare in the Stone Circle, well was apart of the Stone Circle. Could he ever imagine actually missing her brute voice in the meetings? Yes he honestly could. Still there was no time for such things, as soon the party was off wondering about.
Eyes turned to the Kirin that everyone seemed to be eyeing, but no one was really speaking too. Evokar sighed a bit and looked to them the one wandering alone towards the trees. "Perhaps you'd like to join us? Safety in numbers." he remarked. As who could truly know what would happen at the trees? As the gorup moved forwards, Evokar had a grim feeling, so much so the plants around his hooves seemed to want to grasp him, keep him in place. An ill omen? Or possible feeding of this energy it was hard to tell anymore. Still they moved ahead and as the tree got closer, her felt the urge to turn around. It was unnatural in a sense and it made him want to reach out to it with his own gift. To touch it just to see, what was truly in there within the wall of the trees. A fortes of the the sort, he wondered these walls was it made to keep them out? Or something in?

Ezmeralda | War-Forged | Herder
The grumpy, angry vibes the hippocampus stallion were giving her were an instant deterrent (though she was sure that was exactly what he wanted it to be), and as they both trotted up to the gathering group of horses that had been nearby when the quake had hit, she slowly drifted away to stand by Chirin as he was speaking to a group of friends and a unicorn stallion that she recognized from the Stone Circle. If only she were better at names, she'd probably know it, but at least he seemed to be a calmer presence than the angry hippocampus, and from here, Ezmeralda was close to the only horse he knew in this group: Chirin. Even though he was talking excitedly with his friends, it comforted her to hear him so happy and being this close would allow her to keep a close eye on him if any danger arose. With the looming, luminous trees nearby that had appeared like some sort of magic trick, however, Ezmeralda could only guess that there would be some sort of danger there.
Her train of thought was derailed as the stallion beside her spoke, and she gave him a gentle nod of her head, half from gratitude for what seemed to be concern in his tone and half from respect to the higher ranked equine. They'd definitely been lucky that none of them were seriously injured, but if some of the deeper cuts among them didn't get looked after soon, they could easily become infected. Right now, however, the others were too busy to worry about those sorts of things as the small group of War-Forged hiked over the rough terrain toward the circle of trees.
Her mind raced with different, wild ideas of what lay within the circle of trees ahead of them. Was there some sort of beast that they had never seen before that was thirsty for equine blood? Or maybe something worse? What could be worse than that though? The unicorn mare shook her head of her own worries and instead focused on the path ahead, trying to steel her mind for whatever may lie ahead.

Chirin War-Forged | Herder
After having his short talk with Isa, Chirin began to follow the other horses. The dark hippocampus with whiskers seemed to be a bit..... short with the others, having hear his tone of voice when talking with Ezmeralda.
The roan colt snorted, starting a brisk trot towards him,
“Well, excuse us for apparently barking up the wrong tree.” He joked as he approached the stallion from behind on his way to Ezzie, making sure his dual pun was loud enough for the others to hear,
“No need to voice your fishsues so bluntly. Seems to me like you could stand to chill out, mister.” another dual pun as the colt lightly dusted the stallions coat with a thin frost as he passed him, also frosting the grass in front of him with a punctuating flick of his lion tail. Again, making sure the others heard him.
He wore a smug expression that conveyed he was very pleased with himself, well aware of the glare the dark stallion was probably burning into the back of the colt's head. Slowing to match Ezzie's stride, Chirin gave her a beaming smile, but walked along in silence. As the group neared the silver trees Chirin saw Maple bound right up to them, sniffing at their bases,
Huh. Alright then. Maybe the tree's are not dangerous?

Alvaro | War-Forged | Farmer
If you haven’t found something strange during the day; it hasn’t been much of a day
For a short moment he let his eyes wander over Luanas body. He wasn’t a healer, but even he saw that she luckily wasn’t injured, except a few cuts. “I’m glad that you alright. Maybe you should still see a healer afterwards? Just to make sure” he suggested and listened for a moment to Evokar’s comment before he turned his attention back to the trees. They had almost reached them and from such a close distance they appeared even stranger. Alvaro had been a farmer for so many years now, never in his life had he seen such trees. “This is flat land, none of us has seen them before. Their appearance could be a good omen...or a really bad one. We’ll only find out if we go and take a closer look….”
The stallion was curious to find out what was going on, but deep in his guts he had a bad feeling. Those trees appeared unnatural. They towered above any other vegetation nearby and both, bark and needles looked pale and...lifeless. Probably not, but that was what came to his mind first.
Suddenly Luana spoke to him again, silently, so the horses around them wouldn’t hear it. “They are extinct…” his words even sounded unbelievable in his own ears. Of course he had heard the rumors of the Warlord's son. The horses said he was born with scales, an abnormality. Alvaro didn’t gave anything about the rumors, but now that he saw that other strange equine right before him, with his own eyes...Well it was hard to deny that it looked like the kirins from old legends. First those strange trees, then a kirin...could that be a coincidence? Maybe not. “Let’s solve one mystery after the other…”
Before he knew it the group came to a stand. The massive cathedral of trees was only a few steps ahead of them, and he could see both curiosity and distrust on the face of the horses around him. From that point of look the trees even seemed to glow a little. It was both fascinating and repellent at the same time. Suddenly a dog charged forwards and started to sniff at the trees and for a moment Alvaro held his breath and waited with all muscles tensed for something to happen. A few seconds later the dog was still there, unharmed and the only thing to hear was the silent creaking of the trees.
Calm down. They are just trees. Plants. You like plants, remember?
“Are we gonna wait the whole day outside and just stare at them?” he asked loudly, so that anyone could hear him. He even forced some humor into his voice. If he stood alone here he would have turned around right now, galloping back home in no time. But he wasn’t alone. And so he stepped forewards, looking for a gab between the trees that was wide enough for him to walk through. Without even thinking about it any longer, he collected all his courage and entered the “cathedral.” Immediately the strange feeling was back. Alvaro had never experienced something similar. The air around him almost seemed to hum.

PICTURE HERE Luana;War-Forged | Farmer Live life the way you see fit and grow with it. Luana Stuck to Alvaro like Candy as she felt a very Uneasy feeling in her stomach as they approached the trees, she looked around at everyone else and noticed they all had different expressions of the sight of the trees. She pinned her ears back as she was very Uncomfortable with this but she wanted to know was they even dangerous, she watched as everyone came to a halt in front of the trees and noticed a dog at the trees. She watched waiting for something to happen, as she swallowed hard and hid away her fear she slowly approached the trees with her ears flat against her skull. As she approached the trees there was a couple of Horses in front of her one was a Hippocampus and the other was another Unicorn, as she was close behind then she then suddenly started chewing on the Hippocampus tail.
As she noticed she got embarrassed and hide behind him like she wasn’t even there, as she let go of his tail she slowly snuck her away to to Alvaro, “That Hippocampus over there seems, … Harsh or mean, I’m hide for him that’s for sure.” As she snuck Past everyone else and reached the trees she suddenly got an urge to go back home quickly, she flattened her ears again but she started to explore the tree’s as she sniffed the trees being alert. As she looked over the trees she never thought she be beside trees this massive then she suddenly heard a cracking noise, she jumped away to only it being the others making noises. As she walked around the trees walking in between then and looking up into them, “I wonder if there is anything up in the trees?” as she put her hooves on the tree she reached out her neck trying to look if there was anything in the trees. As she just stood there staring off into the leaves as she watched as the wind blew and blowing the leaves back and forth, she felt the wind blow against her face.
As she walked to the other side of the tree and saw the others she trotted over to Alvaro and around him and trotted back to the trees, awaiting for the others to check out the trees as she feels like nothing there is to harm them. Luana then wandered off away from the trees explore the area around the trees to see what she could find, she sniffed the ground as she trotted along the ground exploring it up and down getting a feel of the earth. As she rolled in the leaves and grass playing in the grass as the other tried to figure out the trees, she Approached Alvaro again and this time she had leaves all in her mane and tail. “I feel as this may be a sign in a good way, as I haven’t seen anything bad or dangerous yet.” As she set down in the dirt and continued to be alert and keeping an eye on everyone just in case something was to happen, she didn’t want to let her guard down even though she found nothing dangerous within the area of these massive trees. She felt as if this was a good sign maybe there was more good things that was going to happen or that was going to be given to them, as though she hasn’t figured out why these Massive trees was here or how they got here and they have never see them before.
What if this was just the beginning what if there was more out there that they don’t know about or just haven’t found, and it’s just in time before they discover it all and what if all of it’s good or some of it’s bad. “Hey what if this isn’t the only thing that we haven’t discovered do you think there is other places we just haven’t found, or maybe I’m over thinking but after all these years then they appear what else could be out there?” She now had a lot of Question flowing through her mind but who could even answer them, she thought to herself a lot like what if this is just the beginning of something new.

4 | 282The stallion's muzzle snatched away from the pine as he felt something cold lace his back. A small voice piped up as the unicorn child tried to be.. funny. "Fuck off." Gulliver snapped, teeth gritting together in a snarl as he shook out his coat. The thin layer of frost fell from his coat, settling quietly at his hooves. His whiskers twitched with irritation, his ears laying flat against his neck. He had half a mind to turn around and leave right now, if it wasnt for him having nothing else to do for the day. His muzzle twitched as he heard hoof steps approaching him, and then something tugging at his tail. A spark flashed through his eyes as he turned to look at the culprit, but they were already leaving. "Fucking morons, everywhere." He grumbled under his breath before pushing away from the tree he had been standing before.
He stood away from the group, keeping an eye on them to make sure no one else bothered him as they made their way to the center of the trees. He felt a strange hum in the air as he did so, shaking his head as if there was a bug in his ear. Strange.
The stallion stopped as he reached what he thought was the center of the trees, his hooves pressed into the soft grass as he craned his neck back to look above him. Working his jaw, he scanned the area slowly, shaking his head again out of habit due to the humming. His tail flicked as he glanced back toward the others, eyebrows raised in question.
Whatever it was, it didnt seem dangerous. At least, not yet.

Chirin War-Forged | Herder
Chirin giggled to himself a bit as he watched Maple place both front paws on a tree trunk and lick the bark. The pup was wagging her tail as if the tree was a friend she hadn't seen in a while.... that, or she just like how the bark tasted?
Chirin passed through a gap in the trunks and trotted a few paces into the centre of the towering masses. Looking back, he noticed that Maple refused to pass the trees, opting to sit by them and wait patiently. Finally paying attention to his surroundings propperly, the fuzzy colt noticed that the air felt... charged.
“Woah, you guys feel that?” he asked as he addressed the other horses, “It feels like the air after a lightning storm.”
Chirin met the questioning gaze of the whiskered horse for a moment, returning the same confused look, “Your guess is as good as mine, sir.” he said, answering the stallions unasked question.
What the hell was this place?

Evokar of the Stone CircleYou know that he will give them everything
until there is nothing left of him Perhaps they were all fools.
He watched them as they entered and he wondered have they all grown so careless? But who was he to even judge as by mere seconds he was following suit. His breath seemed to catch in his chest as he passed the line of trees. Holding it until he reached the others, before letting out softly. They all carried the same question on their minds.
What was this place? Why now? Why here?
But none of them knew the answers but still they all asked it unknowingly whether it slipped from their lips or not. Those question hung heavy in the air, but he wondered. Would there ever be an answer? Curled ears flickered, there was an almost humming sensation among them all. It made his withers quiver, and his ears move back against his skull. Truly what was this place, would Kaia allow such a thing to grow here and be dangerous to them all? But the trees never looked natural and it made his stomach uneasy.
Eyes looked to the others as the stood around taking in the sight within the middle of the wall of trees. "Perhaps." was all he said to them. Perhaps there was more places like this, perhaps this was the only one. He offered no answers for he had none, and refused to add more to the questions that lingered over them like a shroud. Still he was curious as he wondered farther ahead taking in the sight, allowing himself to ease into the humming noise, almost like white noise, but not enough to lull him to sleep. Still it made him curious made him wonder. What was the purpose of this?

Ezmeralda | War-Forged | Herder
Ezmeralda hadn't believed what had come out of Chirin's mouth until she saw the angered expression of the rather grumpy hippocampus stallion she had bumped into earlier. Tilting her head away so that no one could see her grin, she bit her tongue to keep herself from chuckling. That would only make things worse, but she had to admit that Chirin's jokes were funny and was slightly proud that he wasn't afraid to stand up for himself or anyone else. She'd never have the guts to do anything like he had done (especially when he used his blessing to breath a layer of frost over the stallion's pelt), not that she thought that it had been a great idea for the young colt to do, but it was pretty amusing.
Ezmeralda's ear pinned back against her neck at his curse toward the child, and her long tail lashed behind her like an agitated cat. Her head shook in disappointment as she trotted to walk beside the unicorn herder. She could handle insults and curses thrown at her. She'd down that her entire life after all, but when someone insulted a child, let alone a child that she knew, it really got under her skin. "Don't listen to him, Chirin." The unicorn mare started to speak, her long tail brushing over his back reassuringly (though she was sure he hadn't been fazed by the stallion's harsh words). "Try not to be too audacious next time though. I'd hate to see you get hurt." Ezmeralda warned with a slightly joking tone though the underlying message was a serious one.
As they walked into the line of towering trees, Ezmeralda felt as though her legs were trembling and would fall out from underneath her. Something didn't feel right. What were they even doing going in here by themselves without some kind of protection or an army? When she felt the air change around her and a steady humming noise fill her ears, a shiver ran through her body. "I don't feel good about this." Ezmeralda muttered quietly as her green eyes scanned their surroundings.

Time seemed different, inside the cathedral of new (yet ancient?) trees. Or perhaps it was just the light which was different… but passage of time is so often marked in light and the absence there of, that perhaps it could be the same thing. Nonetheless, the very air felt different within the ring of towering pale trees, somehow more… full, more rich, full of possibility. Aware. And the light, that different light… it came not so much from above, but from within, emanating from the trees and suffusing the gathered equines with a silver glow.
“These souls shouldn’t be here,” said a low, thoughtful voice that threaded its way through the clearing. It was followed almost immediately by the form of a stocky chestnut stallion as he emerged from the shadows, his pale green eyes turned not towards the assembled equines, but the trees. Then he suddenly looked directly at Evokar. “Or so the legend goes.” He tilted his block-like head, eyeing the group without any apparent curiosity, only a sort of resigned patience. “Do you not know it? It was an old mare’s tale, in my clan…” he trailed off, eyes growing distant. And sad. “It is said,” the stallion continued finally, “that in days past, when Onea was faced with great danger, that the Earth Mother would send these Silverwood Trees to guard Her nation’s borders, and that any who wished harm to a child of Earth would perish, should they try to enter the forest.” He flicked his tasseled tail once, then laughed. “And that a fallen branch could be shaped into a weapon of superior quality.” He shook his head, curly mane flying. “Old mare’s tales, indeed.” But he looked up to the tops of the trees, which had before not not existed, and he wondered...
His distant gaze snapped suddenly to Chirin, and the unicorn nodded his head gravely, in response to a comment made minutes ago. “The air feels the approaching storm, because the trees feel it. And you, as well. The old can learn much from the young, I think.” He glanced at Gulliver and nodded once, noting the stallion’s discomfort. He too must feel the power in the clearing… and the warning. It must be a warning.
His eyes moved to Luana, Isa, Ezmeralda, and then Alvaro, noting the odd looks, and he suddenly remembered himself.
“I am Hemlock, of clan-” he broke off suddenly, looked embarrassed, and angry. And regretful. “Of War Forged, of course. I was making my way to Skeldr when I was knocked down and then, well-” he gestured with his horn at the trees, and as he did his eyes fell on the glowering Pele. For several long, pregnant moments, Hemlock stared at the kirin. Then his eyes found the trees once more, as if dragged there, as if by a magnetic field.
“Old mare’s tales…” he whispered. Then he looked at Evokar. “The War Lord must be told of this.”

Pele Your whole life's in the hand of God Sharp green eyes watched as the group traversed into the trees, the silence enfolding the kirin as she stayed put. She didn't trust these Northerners. They were simpletons, as stupid as the rocks they tread on. Oh she heard the remarks of those who were skeptical, heard them call her a unicorn. Well if she was a unicorn, she could definitely stick her "horns" up someone's nether regions.
Still, she couldn't just let them waltz into an unknown place with the risk of someone killing them. This was their home more than it was hers, but she knew that these trees were new to all of them. She'd be damned if the War Lord found out the group she'd been with were killed in her presence.
With her tail flicking irritably behind her, Pele stepped into the cathedral, immediately noticing the change in the air. It made the scales along her spine prickle, an uncomfortable shudder running down her back.
"What in Ignacio's blue flame is this?" she muttered to herself, chin raised skyward to study the massive trees.
She snorted, trying to tell herself that she wasn't the least bit impressed. Mysterious trees just coming out of nowhere, what kind of game was War-Forged trying to play with her?
A new voice caught her attention and she pulled her gaze away from the sky, squinting scrutinizingly at the new horse. She curled her lip as he began rambling about "old mare's tales" and the history of the damned place she was dropped in.
Then he looked straight at her and Pele felt a fire burn through her from his gaze. It wasn't one she was familiar with. Sure, she was used to the stares and the whispers of the degenerates who dared to even look at her, but this... She felt like this Hemlock knew her.
She didn't like it one bit.
Her lips pulled back into a snarl, unwilling to put up with any bullshit this newcomer had to offer.
"The War Lord already knows of my presence," she growled, flicking her ears back as a warning. She spared a quick glance towards the rest of her party before staring straight back at Hemlock, the charge in the air making her more uncomfortable by the second.

Evokar of the Stone CircleYou know that he will give them everything until there is nothing left of him
This forest was not of normal equine creation that much seemed clear. They all gathered within the trees, and Evokar could only feel compelled to take in the sights from within. Yet a stranger approached and he felt uncertain in a way. Hemlock. Brow arose as this one talked a bit differently as if forgetting themselves here and there. It made Evokar feel a bit nervous, though as the one spoke, he felt the need to listen. He listened intently, that was until their eyes found his and Evokar found himself swallowing hard.
Heart beat raced as if he had been running all day, but now he stood there locked in a gaze with Hemlock as they spoke. Legend, the trees, Evokar would need to study more. Find the books, but if this stallion new of it, it must have been recalled, collected somewhere int he scrolls and books of paper, knowing Evoakr would split the spine of the books to find the exact lore or legend of what this stallion spoke of.
Evokar nodded along, and looked at the others a bit wondering what they felt of such things. It was curious but surely there was some truth within these words, something that had been long lost in transition of the tale. Mind was still tumbling over the thought of itself, was something to come from all of this? War? Would it be brought here from the sands? The idea made his stomach lurch, but soon Hemlock was looking once more at him. "Yes you are quite right. Thank you for this Hemlock. I do hope all is well with you and so sorry I must cut all of this so short" he remarked dipping his head, before turning to the others. "I bid you all goodbye. If there is trouble or anything please come find me. Im always around." he added before looking to Pele and dipping his head to them. Soon he was moving away from the others. Ready to inform of what has happened within the farmlands and the tales and legends it brings with.
