Farsight || Harrower || Colt
Ears flickered back as Farsight walked out of the main city, Inaria. As much as he loved the hustle and bustle of entertainers the music and delight, he still wasn't welcomed. He noticed in the way they looked at him or his father, Sometimes a sneer or a look of pity. He never understood why being what he was, seemed like such a curse, a burden. He was put a weed int he yard and everyone was dying to uproot him. Farsight shook his head and looked like a child skulking about. A permanent grump look to his face, a day trip in the city was supposed to be a delight especially since he had a few coins to spend, now he was nothing but angered by those they were his 'herd mates.'
Farsight rolled his eyes as he tossed his head, letting his mane flow out from its loose braid. He was often mistaken for a girl, and he soon cared little for even saying he was a boy, was it an insult to be a girl? Or vice versa? Grumbling escaped his lips, he need to calm down fast before he start his bad pony tricks, his mom would call it. Without a moment to spare Farsight was dashing into the beaches hoping maybe Cascade would offer clarity.

Tansy | Cleric "Even from a dark night, songs of beauty can be born." - Mary Anne Radmacher
Tansy lay quiet still, her young and rather awkward legs lay out before her in the sands. The waves just breaking upon the land enough to swish and swirl around the colorless hooves of her front legs. The feathering of them getting limp and heavy onto her flesh with the salt from the waters as the waves drew back out plastering the limp strands of hair to her legs. The emotion echoing blue eyes looked down at the front hooves in the sand and unconsciously she pressed them down into the softness, feeling as well as seeing the saturated earth swell up some of the water it still held. Soon enough another brush of a wave re-wetted the entire area before her She had been crying, that was obvious enough by the glitter upon her lashes and the pink rims that encircled her bright eyes let alone the tracks that her rather unkempt coat showed down the broad plains of her face. Those blue eyes looked back at the water horizon before her, though unfocused, watched the soothing waters that in the end had stopped her tears with their gentle push and pull. With her young and slender body, her frizzy as all hell hair encircled her, her equally messy tail pooled about her. The dark and light streaks coated her face, neck and some of her back causing the illusion of feathers and even wings in the glow of the sun and white wash of the beach. Her mind absently pulled away from the sea and looked down at the falling curls and strands of her own mane and wondered if perhaps her hair was the reason she was so disliked. She huffed and looked back to the sea letting the wind from it lift the heavy curls, ignoring the few stragglers upon the beach around her. Hardly noticing the sea was rolling past her thick chest now rather than just her hooves as if Cascade herself was trying to touch Tansy. To calm the fury, the sadness, and the hate she held for herself. Word Count : 346

Farsight || Harrower || Colt
Hooves dug into the sands, as he kicked outwards as he ran, he didn't care as the sands sprayed outwards, he didnt care if he disturbed the peace, all he wanted was his precious Cascade to make him anything but what he was. How could she allow him to be born as such a thing? A winged betrayer, Alya's child. He was not, he was born Talori, he was Cascade's... he was Cascades. Tears fell from his face as he stopped running and came to a soft a walk as he reached the white foams from the waves as they crashed into the shores. He watched it as it barely covered his hooves, he sighed softly. Maybe they were all true, he was Alya's child, wings proved it all didn't it? He looked upwards and it was then he saw her. She had to be around his age right? Though she was small like him, she was built thicker then he was he couldn't help but wonder, what she was doing. Way out there in the ocean, she was just standing there. For a moment, he forgot his pain, his hurt, and merely he looked outwards to her. "Hey..." he called out gently to her. He merely looked to her curiously, what more could he say? He wasn't to sure, he didnt even know if saying anything at all was the bets thing to do. Though perhaps Cascade worked in mysterious ways and the best way to forget your pain, your hurt, was of course to help someone else instead. Odd how things like that always seemed to work like a charm. WC||276 Tag MapleEggNotes: Sorry for the delya, still struggling with writers block and feleing good about my own writing skill ;u;/

Tansy | Future Cleric | Filly
As the tug of the waves own power as it came in, then went back out again. It was quiet hypnotic to the little girl and she had not heard the other horse come up behind her. In fact she almost missed him call out to her entirely but lucky for him a slight chance in the waves pattern had at that moment been rather still and silent.
"Hey..."
The voice had said and she was willing to bet all the little she held dear that it was someone coming back after her to taunt and poke some more. But after a few seconds passed and a new rush of wave collided into her lower neck she glanced back.
Blue eyes stood stark with its background of blood shoot whites and red rimmed lids. Looking at him she gently began to think. Who was he? What did he want? Would he mock her for her family? Her hair? She was sure it would be something atleast. The wave's inward push became an outbound pull and Tansy felt herself ebb with it. Stumbling a few steps as it was pulled back to the mass of the ocean and slipping backwards when it came in to touch the shores of her home. Turning with one of the waves she looked more squarely at him. Her mind absently touched on the fact he was a Pegasus but she couldn't care.
"What do you want... What's wrong with me, go ahead, say what you need"
She coughed the words out, holding her voice loud enough to be heard over the rising tide. Her mind tittered a bit at the fact the tide was in fact rising and every so often the waves would lift her from her feet now. With her natural instinct she felt the twinge of panic to get back onto safer beach, but she didn't move.

Farsight || Harrower || Colt
A look of shock crossed his features as her voice rang out to him. Ears pinned back a bit as he took a nervous step back, in all honesty her remark was not what he had expected at all. Truly he thought she'd say something simple, not this. He gulped nervously as she was looking to him as if waiting for him to say something back, yet he couldn't think of anything to say. His mouth felt dry and he had an odd urge to gulp at the the waves that reached up towards him.
"You look sad." he remarked out towards her. "Like me....." he paused for a second as he lowered his head, tucking in his wings closer to his small petite frame. Eyes looked outwards towards her, he wasn't sure he said the right thing, his dad always told him to be himself and somehow that got him into more trouble, then being a model citizen his mother begged for him to be. "I don't mean to be rude... I just saw you out here... something pulled me to say something..." he felt his cheeks turn red as embarrassment began to swell within him. This was dumb, he should have went home, like a good child and cried in his room and let the world not see how easily it could shatter hearts and dreams.
He shifted awkwardly between his weight as he lifted his head a bit and kept his eyes to her. He was wondering what she would do and honestly, he wish he just shut up and walked along. He could have let her be and instead was he to make a muck of things again?

Tansy|Future Cleric|Filly
Oh, she thought to herself with a sinking feeling. He was being nice to her. Not sling words at her like all the others did.
"You look sad.... Like me"
Well that was darn true enough, Tansy was in fact distraught having just learned the mother and father she knew all her young life was not what they were. They were actually her aunt and uncle, this being discovered after a particularly nasty colt had called her an orphan bitch and had left Tansy frozen. She could not believe she was, her Ma was exactly that, her mother. Tears and hard words completely forgotten she had run to Vexin and asked after what the colt had said.
Vex waited for sometime with a dire look and called out for her mate, her father, Jacken. They gently took her aside with the need to tell her something. This something had turned her little world upside down on her and she had fled with her once-thought mother yelling after her. The cold male figure that had been her father, stopping his mate from coming after her. No wonder why he was always so distant from the little vanner mare. She wasn't even his.
With the recollection of these thoughts and turning completely to face this newcomer, a few tears fell into her white and black fur that had already been tear streaked and heavy with salt from the ocean water. Each new push she moved forward with it, but did not let it pull her back in. Her dense body coming more and more away from the water as she closed in on this odd horse before her.
But yet, just as she had been getting her full feet under her a much stronger wave rolled into her hindquarters and simply swept up the little vanner and pelted her inland and she felt a thunk as her legs flung out to find purchase in the sand. As the rogue wave left she had collided with the poor Pegasus and lay sprawled with him on the sand. Her legs and body were tangled up with his and her neck and head was curled around his chest. Blushing she scooted back on her tummy and looked at him.
"OH gosh I am so so sorry!"
She squealed, disgust in herself and her life momentarily forgotten

Farsight || Harrower || Talori
Eyes looked to her as they both seemed to stare at each other in that moment, not a word was said and all Farsight could feel was that sinking guilt. They kind that festered in ones stomach, to make them ill or sick on the spot. He felt himself swallow dryly as he looked to her and suddenly she was moving towards him, wave after another and he had no time to react suddenly she sprawled on top of him and he was snorted a bit as his wings were ruffled and out trying to keep himself up, but failed miserably. Eyes were wide with slight panic and soon as he felt her weight on him, she was off in a second.
Farsight was in a bit of a daze as she was apologizing quickly as he could get up. He shook his head and looked to her. "You okay? I'm okay." he chuckled a bit sheepishly, as it all took him by surprise. "Hey its okay no need to say sorry, things happen." he smiled to her. Wings ruffled out a bit as he shook his wet frame not minding that he was covered in sea foam. Eyes looked to her as he tilted his head to the side. "I'm Farsight by the way." he remarked with a chirpy voice than had previously had spoke to her. The mood in changing as quickly as the tides in the sea. Farsight looked to the filly and back out to sea, sometimes the ocean could work in mysterious ways.

Although fear had darted across his face when she colided into him, this strange Colt was seemed fine with her. Not angry, not grosses out. It was quet a new experience for Tansy and she felt on shakey ground. As he asked after her condition she was wondering if she knocked a screw loose upstairs but she nodded that she was fine and stood dripping salt and water from her dense mane and coat.
Farsight was his name. A decent name she thought and felt reluctant to speak her own. Maybe he would have heard of her and thus would make fun of her for being parentless. Stomping a foot she wrangled her slippery courage momentarily into place and spoke up.
"Tansy. I'm Tansy like the plant?"
She figured she would get it out of the way. The Tansy flower was used to halt pregnancies if brewed in the right way and it was only one of the many things young horses would jeer at her for. Oh well, she thought and watched Farsight for signs of aggression. Against all proof thus far in her life, she actually held hope he would not. Life was full of pain and loneliness, more now than ever before as she stood and began to shiver from the hard sea's slight breeze.

Farsight || Harrower
Eyes looked to her, was there something he was supposed to know? "Tansy. That's a pretty name." he remarked with a bright smile on his face. To him it was indeed a pretty name, he knew nothing of herbs or such things. In all honesty he was still quiet innocent in such matters, though his parents tried to have him hold on to such things. It was easier to live in this world so cruel and unfair. Let their little babe believe in better tomorrows, and happy endings. So there he was smiling, not knowing at all poor Tansy was a bully here as well. Instead maybe he could offer her something she didnt get much. Kindness.
"So what were you doing out there in the ocean? Praying to Cascade?" he asked her with curiosity. At times he didnt know that some questions are best not to be asked, though fickle on that. Farsight asked regardless. "You okay though Tansy? You can talk to me ya know? I know we don't know each other real well, but my dad says I'm gonna be a harrower and I can tell you and I are gonna be great friends!" he smiled all the more. His little wings flickered a bit as he stood there as happy as can by. His pain long gone and forgotten. Just like that.

The black and white youngster tilted her head to the side as Farsight complimented her name. This was odd, she thought as her flanks quivered again, was he being nice or just warming her up for a swift attack? No, she could see it in his eyes. He was really being nice to the orphan and if she was being honest with herself she would note that she didn't know what to do.
Now with a kinder eye she looked over this young colt. He was a pleasure to look at. Soft creamy color and with a bit of shame she realized he was a pegasi. Tansy did not partake in the discrimination of the winged ones and always tried to get out of going to the sacrifices. Her father... No. Uncle, always scolded her when she would end up in tears. They were like any other beast in this world. Why should they be considered lower than other horses.
Taking a few tenative steps closer she simply plopped her rump on the sands and smiled to Farsight. Until he asked why she was in the ocean. Her smile faded as she craned back to look at the lapping sea. What had she been doing... Praying? No she was trying to lose herself but to what. Finally she pulled her attention back to Farsight and cursed the stinging tears that threatened to come. She shook her head, her wild frizz and curls covered her eyes so he wouldn't see.
"No... Not praying... Just-"
Her voice broke slightly and she bit at her tongue to slow her emotional voice.
"Just lost. I'm an.. An orphan you see?"
Maybe she had been praying. Asking why her aunt and uncle had masqueraded around as her parents instead of letting her know from the start. Asking why she didn't have her own parents and how things could be so cruel. Cascade was a god. Couldn't she fix these things?
Tansy sat as still as she could as a few tears rolled down her cheeks. Her face hidden in the bush of hair that still fell all around her regardless of being damp and stiff with salt.
"I-Im sorry... This is.. Silly of me"
She spoke haltingly and shook her head again, sending tears and ocean water drops flying about. It also let her eyes be visible again.
"Why'd you come to the beach? If you hadn't I may not have toppled you!"
Tansy actually laughed. Softly, but still, she laughed.

Farsight || Harrower || Colt
Ears flickered upwards at the mention of an orphan. The young flee bitten colt, merely raised a brow. Was there something more to that? He wasn't sure, but yet he saw the pained look and as his mother would say, there's no good in digging in sad news. Just leave it be. So that's exactly what he did, he left it be. At times he knew when practicing harrowing, he would pry to deep and in the end, both members have left with sadness and grief. " Don't apologize its alright." he smiled to her once more. Trying to met her eyes but he couldn't see her eyes, that was until she shook her mane. Farsight lowered his head meeting her gaze as she asked him a question and chuckled all the more. "I think it's good luck I came to the beach." he remarked with a full grin, Beaming with pride at his new friend, whether she thought it or not. He figured, yes they would be friends. One doesn't meet others in normal ways, it was an act of fate and Farsight had a knack for fates and futures. They would be friends, or at least he'd try his hardest to be her friend. " Well..." he paused for a moment and suddenly plopped down next to her at the beach. " Well I came out here to get away from everything. It's rough being different ya know?" he remarked as he had a sense she felt that way too. " I don't know I was hoping the waves would wash away the pain. They say Cascade looks over us takes care of us. But I am pretty sure she has her favorites, and I don't think I quite made the cut." he laughed a bit. " But mama says to keep praying to be faithful and she rewards those that do." he nodded a bit. " My mama explained it as tough love. Sometimes you gotta suffer a bit to get the best times of your life. I'm hoping those days come by fast." he laughed a bit and flickered out his wings and smiled all the more. His pale eyes looked towards hers and he grinned all the more. " I like you without your mane in your face. You've got such pretty eyes!" he retorted with pure delight.
