Daksh (#1 | WC: 276)
Things had been going pretty well. He was settling into his new job and getting more accustomed to the differences that were coming about. It was still all strange, but it was okay. He could live with. When he woke up that morning, things were still okay. It was his day off (thankfully, his new job was draining), and he didn't have much planned. Daksh was trying to get more comfortable in the city, so he thought he might head there. He might even run into someone he knew- or he'd undergo the stares of those around him. His blue wing stayed tucked to his side when he went out. The sun was strong, and so was the wind. It buffeted against him as he made his way from his small home. Everything seemed to be going well until he got into the city. Immediately Daksh noticed strange looks on horses faces. Many seemed confused and there was a quiet murmur. His brows furrowed but he paid little mind. He was passing a storefront when he noticed his reflection. He... seemed to be missing a leg? Daksh stumbled backwards in shock and his gaze flew downwards. He had to stifle a gasp. He could clearly feel the ground beneath his hoof, but there was no tangible hoof there. If he squinted he could faintly see his leg. It was troubling and Daksh suddenly thought he knew the reason for all the confused looks everyone had. Glancing around wildly, he looked for someone he could confront about this. It was possible someone else knew what was going on and could give him answers. Daksh desperately wanted answers.

Tzilia | Mare | Geminus Air Manipulation to Earth Manipulation
Something unsettling had dug it's way into her chest. Something foreign, something thoroughly unknown that rooted itself in her heart and soul, touching it in an intimate but unfamiliar way.
Uneasily Tzilia shifted on her hooves, darting away with quick strides to ensure she was enveloped in solitude. For years she had kept her air blessing a secret from all but the ones closest to her, and she wasn't about to allow some unknown presence to allow that fact to change. With her bi coloured eyes flickering around the empty room, ears swiveling to catch even the slightest signs of a stranger's existence, Tzilia was at last content that she was, indeed, alone. Swallowing her fear and drawing in a single steadying breath, she allowed herself to relax, concentrating on the only thing that mattered.
When she reached out to touch her blessing, it was not the air that shifted, as she had expected; it was the very earth. It trembled and shifted at her will, and with terror she snapped her consciousness away from the power. A few dishes and trinkets shivered on their perches, aftershocks of her apparent power providing them momentum. Nostrils flaring and sides heaving, Tzilia remained rooted to the ground in shock, fearful to even flinch, as though she believed the slightest movement on her part would encourage the earth to move once more.
For several long moments she remained there until the fear lost it's grip on her muscles, allowing her to bolt from the room. With trembling legs it was difficulty to run, but unsteadily she made her way out, seeking out, with wide, panicked eyes, anyone who could possibly tell her she wasn't crazy; that something was indeed wrong with the world. Urbi | Oracle | Invisibility
Once more, Urbi woke within the Temple of Time. She could hardly believe that she was a part of a herd each time she started her day, but today was the most unusual of all herd-life days. Certainly something the Oracles couldn't predict... The Hippocampus was having a hard time finding herself that morning, literally. Not to mention she couldn't find the others. Despite her fears, Urbi got up to inspect the place. There was still rustling about, but it was difficult to find the source. UH HUH! There! On a bench close by, there was an open scroll. Excitement driven adrenaline through her veins, Urbi raced forward. BANG! A thudding headache replaced answers as Urbi found herself sitting across from a familiar face at last! It was one of the other Oracles sporting Clairvoyance, but she hadn't seen them..? "I, uh.. where did you come from?" Urbi asked most confused, but found she was faced with the exact same question. Looking down at her hooves, Urbi was shocked to see they were fading in and out with the floor's decor. What in the God's names.
Looking around, Urbi finally noticed the chaos ensuing within the Temple. Horses were disappearing and reappearing. Some in flashes, others in patches and incredibly, there were even a couple of flying horses with what appeared to be tiny galaxies appearing in front of them. Oh Cascade, what have you done?
Walking outside, Urbi could hear confused shrieking coming from the township, she definitely shouldn't be hearing that. Stepping back suddenly, what she could only pray was an equine sped in front of her face at an impossible speed. All she could do was pray Cascade would fix things soon.

I l h u i c a a t l "Lulu"
§ Talori | Philosopher §
"Certain things catch your eye, but pursue those that capture the heart." ~Native American Proverb § Lulu had been up all night.
The stars had been bright, and aside from being distracted for a few minutes by a moth that decided to land on her nose, she was able to study in peace. The stars and the sounds of the ocean were her peace. So when the horizon started to change colors, the hippocampus closed her curtains and crawled under the warm blankets of her bed. Nothing would keep her from enjoying sleeping in way past noon.
Her mother would understand. She always did.
But others, it seemed, didn’t.
But the sun was hardly up, the sky still painted with shades of pink when she heard screaming from outside her window. Traumatized by the Flight’s attack on Inaria, the exhausted girl flew to her hooves and looked out of her window. There were horses on the streets, but other than that, there was no smoke. No blood. Just screaming.
But then she looked closer. She could see small twisters dancing at the hooves of hippocampus, a few horses running so fast they were blurs. And there were even those whose voices were so loud she was sure those in the close vicinity to the screamer would be deaf for a period of time.
But she knew, those particular horses either had no blessings, or did not pray to Alya. Hardly anyone in Inaria would even think to pray to the winged goddess. Furrowing her brows, grumpy and with bags under her eyes, the youth turned and grumped out of her room. What in Hireath was going on anyway? She picked up to a trot, but found she was moving a lot faster than she intended to. Nearly throwing herself down the stairs, Lulu was wide awake now as she struggled to rein in her sudden speed.
Now, normally, getting a blessing would be grand. But seeing as she definitely didn’t pray to Alya as much as she should in order to receive the gift of Super Speed, she was sure her mother wouldn’t be too happy about it either.
And she wasn’t.
Striding as slow as she could into their living space, Lulu halted to see her little brother giggling. He was tapping the floor in front of him with his fore-hooves, and there were little spirals of air dancing around. Lulu knew that her brother had been born blessed with Nymph Affiliation, but here he was, Manipulating the Air.
Giselle stood near her son, tears in her eyes. She looked up to her daughter, who furrowed her brows in understanding. Something had happened to Cascade to cause the change, and addition, of random blessings. Turning, much quicker than intended, the young mare smacked her head against the side of the doorway. When Ilhuicaatl kicked at the wall in defiance, Giselle was hardly surprised. If Lulu hated anything, it was surprises.
Except, this surprise was rather nice.
Despite clunking herself on the head, she actually liked this sudden ability to move faster. She had always considered hooves to be lesser than her finned form, as she had incredible maneuverability within the water. With this land speed, it was almost as good.
Almost.
Awkwardly stretching her legs to keep herself from running into larger horses, the Falabella moved towards the groups of equines discussing the sudden changes. Some seemed borderline hysterical. First the changes of the herd, now the changes to their Gods, they almost couldn’t fathom it. Rolling her eyes, the girl actually did run into someone...except, they weren’t there. Irritated, and looking to give the offending...invisible thing a swift kick, she looked up to see that the invisible thing was, in fact, the disappearing leg of a fellow [Daksh]. Eyebrows raising both surprised and amused, she called up to him.
“Hey, y’know your leg is missing right?” Except it wasn’t. She was damn sure she had run into it because she couldn’t see it, and the way his leg faded...yes, invisibility. It had to be. “Y’know what the heck is goin’ on?”
