Characters: Delta - Played by BlackBee23 Jushiro - Played by Savannauni
Setting: 3 weeks after the events of Chapter 5
Location: Delta's private home - Located on the sea-side cliffs nearest the harbor. The home is a simple 1-story house and looks more like a somewhat elegant cabin (considering Delta's Talorian father had a hoof in building it). The front door, made out of solid white cedar wood, houses a stained glass depiction of the gods. The walls of the home are built out of silver pine while the frame is iron wood. Inside there is plenty of open floor space, with nearly no internal walls. The far side of the house facing the ocean has a large panoramic window. The living room area has a cobble stone hearth and a multitude of plush cushions. -
Time of Day: Mid to late afternoon
Weather: Clear and sunny for the most part, though there is a moderately heavy fog covering the cliffs.
Plot: It has been 3 weeks since the Valkyrie patrol fell victim to a well placed and well disguised spiked pit trap. Jushiro suffered multiple impalements via the sharpened sticks at the bottom. Delta, blaming herself for distracting the Kirin and by extension, causing his injuries, offered to help him with his physiotherapy to regain the full function of his leg, which had been impaled through a major muscle. The two were rather friendly with each other and perhaps there is something more sparking between the two?

Waves crashed against the cliff walls, paying no mind to the seabirds attempting to land. Overhead, a Bald Eagle's shivering call echoed across the highfells of Onea. It was mid afternoon, yet the rocky landscape lay shroud in fog. This did not stop the sun, however. Ignacio's rays cut through the veil of cloud in scattered patches, sending stray shafts of golden light to the land beneath.
It was rare to see a Valkyrie so far from the Fortress when not on assignment. The mare's dappled silver coat shone brilliantly like polished armor. The mare had been granted a single days leave. She had work to do at her private home and was also expecting company.
As the mare walked up the path to the front door, she took a moment to admire the stained glass decorating it. Inserting an iron key into the key hole, Delta entered her home. The fireplace had been lit earlier that day and was just reducing itself to smoldering coals. Closing the door behind her, she walked over to the hearth and placed some more logs onto it, getting a proper flame going in no time.
She had to remind herself to thank her mother for keeping her home clean in her absence.
Making her way to the kitchen, she figured she would get dinner started since it would be close enough to dinner time when her company arrived. It was still rather nippy outside, so a nice hot stew would probably be the best on a cold evening.
Setting a pot over the fire, Delta mixed in the ingredients, filling the home with the delicious smell of warm food. While the stew cooked, the mare grabbed a small tin of fish food and fed her betta fish, which were in clear bowls scattered through out the house.
Once that chore was done and the kitchen cleaned up, Delta settled into a large plush cushion, sparing an examining glance to the suit of armor in the corner across from her. The scaled metal glinted in the light of the hearth. Fitting, since it was designed to resemble a Kirin's scales.
Focusing back on her book, the Silver mare continued reading. She got about half way through the chapter when there was a knock at the door. Setting the book back down, she made her way across the room, “Door's open!” she called as the gave the stew one final stir before removing it from the flames and onto a stone slab to the side.
'That's probably him now.' she though with a small smile.
