EOSTRE "Make me submit to you..."
......
The evening before Eostre had an unexpected visitor, a courier with a letter from Juliet knocked upon his door while he was lounging in his living room so he'd asked Lamis to be a doll and answer it for him. Once brought the letter by his sweet mammoth donkey Eostre had let out a gleeful squeal upon seeing it was from Juliet, once he tore it open though his heart sank for his friend. She'd been injured in Haven, almost burnt alive in the fire that ensued and would have perished if not for her pit fighter Bolthor. She requested his presence, wishing to spend some 'girl time' with him in hopes of lifting her broken spirits. He leaped at the chance, always yearning to be with his friends he cherished his friendship with Juliet, the Eminent knew how to party to say the least. Quickly writing a response that he would be at her manor the next day to be by her side Eostre sent the courier back to Juliet and had gone to his room to pick out clothes for him and Lamis to wear before going to bed. Now it was mid-day and he was on his way to see her, Lamis is tow. Stepping lightly, the movement of thin legs fluid and graceful beneath his lithe form Eostre smiled up at the large slave that lumbered beside him. Amethyst silks hung loosely to his body and the gilded bridle shone in the Valore sunlight while his slave wore almost matching tack, just more masculine in design. Joy made his steps light and bouncy, they were on their way to see his favorite Eminent and good friend Juliet, her manor was exquisite and the slaves she owned were nothing less than pristine, or at least the one he knew the most was. The famous Butler, how he'd fawned over the black stallion and wished that he was his...but part of the reason Butler was so loyal and willing to please was that he loved Juliet more than anything else and Eostre knew the quality of work he might receive would be lackluster at best, as if Juliet would ever allow Butler to leave her service. While the slave hadn't confided such information about love to him Eostre had a way of reading others, the way Butler's golden eyes looked at Juliet was enough evidence for him to be certain that more than mere adoration rested in the slave's heart. His eyes trailed over Lamis at the thought of a slave growing to love their master and his cheeks flushed softly, transforming into a delicate shade of pink. He'd grown to enjoy Lamis' presence, more than anyone else he knew and it pained him to be away from his slave...was that what love felt like? He couldn't be sure, he'd never fallen for anyone before, they all fell for him. Bouncing Eostre rubbed his shoulder against Lamis in an affectionate gesture and stared up at him with his sky blue eyes. "You'll just love Juliet's estate, if you think mine is pretty her's is breathtaking in comparison and she is such a sweet girl, I just love her." He took a moment to flash Lamis another one of his dazzling smiles, "And she has a lot of slaves too, you are bound to like one of them...I hope and they are all gorgeous too."

......
Doting upon Juliet since her arrival back to Valore from her disastrous trip to Haven, where she almost died at the hand of King Soliel, was a full time job on top of his usual chores around her estate. Thankfully she wasn't having him schedule any large parties or gathering, just small meetings with friends and Flamines in hopes of lifting her spirits. She'd come back broken physically and mentally and while Butler tried all he could to make her days easier and filled with Joy there was only so much a slave like himself could do for her. The night before he'd watched her draft up a letter to one of her close friends Eostre that she hadn't seen for quite some time, not since before The Pearl had been torn apart by the dragon that now sat beside their King...or pretender to the throne, depending on who you asked. Butler couldn't be sure who was going to be their King if Soliel contented Isador's rule or how much chaos would ensue upon the Kirin's arrival to the capital, if they decided to come to Valore that is. So far he'd heard nothing about Soliel since they tried to kill not only Juliet but all those who had been at the party King Sol had crashed. Shaking his head as he stood beside Juliet, awaiting her next order or request of him like the perfect slave he was, Butler tried to rid his thought of the turmoil that had plagued him since hearing Illidis' conspiracy about their current King. He'd yet to figure out how to handle the information given to him, he was going to tell Juliet but he wasn't sure if she was yet strong enough physically and mentally to hear such words. It might give her something to do, a project to work on but at the same time he was scared that she might break under any additional stress and tried to keep everything off her shoulders, instead placing their weight upon his. "Emin Juliet..." He mused softly, trying to catch her attention before he continued. Staring at his master and love with adoration in his golden orbs, "Are you excited to see Eostre this afternoon? It has been quite some time since you entertained him at the estate, not since before the destruction of The Pearl...where he almost perished at the claws of Isador's new pet." It seemed fate had the Eminent and Courtesan set in the line of fire, so to speak, at opposite times so when Eostre was finally well and able to leave his home he would be ready to visit Juliet after her disastrous trip. Both had been in places they felt safe, secure and had paid the price for allowing their defenses to lower...Since Juliet's return Butler hadn't allowed her out of his sight for fear of losing her for real this time unless she ordered him away and even then he never went too far.
