Where Have You Been Ra | Rowin
The couple have been avoiding each other ever since getting back from Aqoure. One is embarrassed by her former beliefs and the fact she had been blind to such things. Ra is not aware of what Rowin went through in Aqoure but having not seen him in a while she assumes something terrible has happened. The Savior almost gives up hope in seeing him again till he shows up one night.
Timeline: Just after Chap V. Weather: Cool, late at night. Human AU!

Rowin lay in his bed, hands behind his head, staring up at the ceiling. Over the past few days of being home he had not left his cave. Instead he sat for hours looking down at his hands, the same hands that wielded the sword that had slain and slaughtered.
He remember the Phantom masked man he faced. He remembered how he took the mans eye, thinking that was justice. For a moment Rowins vision faded as he was placed back on the bloody field. His helmet’s inside was insufferably hot, his shaggy black hair curled from his sweat, beads of it falling into his eyes. He was panting for his breath as he kneeled over the phantom, hands on the mans collar as he roared in his face “What so you mean?!” When the Phantom told him what Talorians did, what they believed, Rowin fell into shock. His muscles shook from strain when he thought about what those fish bastards did to his kind, how they mutilated bodies.
Absent mindedly his hand grazed his bandages chest. It seemed Alya wanted him punished as well, even if for a moment. The phantom left a deep slash on Rowins chest, his right wing was crushed and now on the mend, in a few weeks he could do some low level flying. But now, he was stuck on the ground when all he wanted to do was be in the air.
Getting angry he threw off the sheet and sat up, his shoulder ached. Standing up he scrubbed his face as he began to pace. He hadn’t seen each in days. He was terrified to see her. Looking out at the night sky he paused for a moment as he made up his mind. Pulling on a tank top he stepped out and into the cool night, headed for ra’s cave. On his way over he tried to think of what to say, what to tell her, but nothing seemed right.
Before he knew it he was at her home. He swallowed once, momentarily rethinking all this, “Ra?” He called softly, maybe she was asleep and he wouldn’t have to see her, wouldn’t have to tell her all the horrors he inflicted.

As Ra turned to look at him Rowin swallowed. She was beautiful, especially how the candle light cast a golden glow on her chocolate skin and her dark hair fanned out from the sudden turn, but in her blue eyes there was a somber reflection that caught Rowin's attention. As she reached him and grabbed his shoulders Rowin's eyes locked with hers for a moment. Quickly he dropped his gaze to the floor, unable to look her in the eye remembering all the terrible and gruesome things he had done. 'Maybe this was a bad idea.' He thought.
As Ra began to question him Rowin flinched at her final question, he just hadn't been able to face her. She was a healer, and he had only destroyed. His eyes flicked up to her arm, carefully he took her hand and gently turned her arm, being mindful of the skin around the tattoo. Instead of that wicked looking fire god on her arm there was Alya, and his true patron god, Cascade. He looked up at her again, one hand reaching out to gently caress her cheek as he asked "My sun... Are you alright?" He asked, changing topics with a stupid question he already knew the answer to.
