The War Lord was supposed to meet with a delegation from Serora, but with the unreliability of the weather, the delegation arrived later than expected and Hira is still missing somewhere with her Valkyries. The Stone Circle decided to send out a search party of scouts, accompanied by raiders and a Shield, to try and meet this delegation- the Circle is worried that the desert-dwelling horses might well get lost in the oncoming storm. But as you make your way down the mountain, you have yet to find them, and worse- your group has found yourself separated from the others in the worsening snow and oncoming darkness. Haku | Sheild
Snow. Snow far as the eye could see. ‘Well,’ a thought rest against the stallions mind. ‘That’s not very far at all, is it?’ A few teeth revealed themselves against his cheek as Haku smirked at his own unvoiced joke. He needed to keep himself entertained somehow; this lot surely wouldn’t do that on its own. With a casual glance behind, he could see the slouched forms of the party, their bodies bracing themselves against the harassment of winds as they flowed off the mountain. The storm had come on quickly, even for Onea’s winter; thick, heavy flakes already reaching their ankles. It was becoming nearly impossible to see the pathway that lead down the evergreen slopes and the Seroran party would surely lose their way if they did not make it to their destined meeting place in time. Not that Haku cared that much. The other herds had no business trotting across these lands, they would not last a second without coddling. No, only horses born of Kaia were welcome here, protected by the cliffs and peaks the Goddess once created. Hireath was her land and all other were blessed enough just to walk it. ‘Even so, earth-mother, I would appreciate a talk with Cascade. We needn't this much snow at once. Like seriously, this is unnecessary!’ A huff escaped his poised form as the rest of the group finally caught up, counting the heads as they came into view. 1- 2- 3-, it was like counting foals on a day-outing. What has his rank descended to, babysitter?! 4-...SHIT! Well, that was that. The group had been divided. Haku released an irritable sigh, “We should have just brought the dogs…”
Great. Not only have you been sent on this wild-goose chase for Serorans that may or may not exist, but now you’re separated from the main group! What do you do?

Liam | Scout
Sure, having been born and raised in Onea, Liam was used to snow. He dealt with it on a yearly basis. Being a scout, he had often had to traverse through deep drifts and blizzards before he could find shelter. But a storm this bad. This was unusual. Especially without any warning from the weather witch. Between Alya's winds and Cascade's snow, it was rather difficult to continue with the party he had been assigned. Not to mention Liam wasn't exactly used to being a team player. As a scout he spent more time on his own depending on his own self reliance. He wasn't used to having to look after others. And it seemed as though the shield leading them felt much the same way.
The stallion braced against the cold, wind whipping his forelock into his eyes, but he dare not close them. If he lost sight of the others, he could be lost in the cold, and with how bad this storm was turning out to be, and the fact that the cultists would be celebrating their blood-letting tonight, Liam had no interest in being out alone. After all, he wouldn't even be out in this mess if it weren't for those damn Serorans.
Yes, he understood that herd relations were important and blah blah blah, but that wasn't his problem. Liam is certainly no diplomat, but the desert dwellers had likely never seen snow before, let alone experienced and Onean blizzard. If they didn't help who would? Liam watched Haku stop and take count, then he just barely heard his remark and looked back to find a good chunk of the group missing.
The bay stopped and looked around, trying to catch a glimpse of the missing group, but all he saw was swirling white. "Well that's damned inconvenient," he sighed, waiting for Haku's decision. Would they continue to find the Serorans? Or look for the rest of their group? Liam was sure the rest of their comrades could survive this storm, after all they were Oneans. But the Serorans? They didn't have a snowballs chance in hell without their help.

Icabod|Raider
Icabod was oblivious to the worries of the other stallions. He knew that, even with the split, any good War Forged horse would be able to make it out of a storm alive. And if they didn't, well, that was their fault. It certainly wasn't Kaia's. She was testing them for sure. And by the gods the roan stallion loved it.
He pranced through the snow, jumping in circles as they waited for Haku's decision. His head was held high with each large step. The snow showed his hoofprints for merely seconds before the blizzard would refill the hollows. It was a fun thing to watch. "What would dogs do to help us?" He raised a brow at Haku, half teasing him. Dogs wouldn't get them out of the mess any easier. The one thing those mutts were good for was their noses. You couldn't smell a tree standing right in front of you with how thick the snow was.
Icabod finally settled. He stood close to Haku, one ear twitching nervously. His eyes were locked on the leader of their small group. "So, what now, sir? Do we just stand here and wait for the storm to die down? Do we search for our members? Or do we find the Serorans that are probably freezing their tails off? I vote Serorans." He grinned and started jumping in the snow again. Not only was it fun, it kept him pretty warm.

Clyde|Raider
Snow to the left, snow to the right. The large stallion narrowed his eyes and pulled his ears back, he was born and raised in this land and knew how to survive in this type of weather. But it never meant he liked it, it was actually the opposite. Clyde hated the thick snow, it always made it harder to move through and would clump up on his leg fur. He watched as Icabod bounced and played in the snow, her pulled his ears back slightly and left his thoughts to himself. As their leader Haku spoke of the dogs and shrugged as he joined him and Liam. “Wouldn’t them canines leave us just where we are at now?” He asked aloud as his head lowered to the snow covered ground where he then snorted, moving the snow slightly.
He looked around as the snow fall before them, getting thicker and thicker with every passing moment. “this was just lovely” he said to himself as he waited for Haku to make up his mind on whether they were going to keep moving or look for the missing members of their team.

Haku | Sheild
Idiots. They were all idiots!
Haku forced himself to keep from grating his teeth together, annoyance simmering beneath his coat. The snow was beginning to freeze creating a sheen layer of ice on everything it touched with its wicked fingers. Perhaps he should have been a merchant as his father had asked of him, at least then he wouldn't have the travel with this lot. " For now we will keep movin'! The more ground we can cover before the sun sets the better." Blue eye's glared at Icabod as the hefty stallion pranced around like a colt seemingly none the wiser to the shield words. "If you get lost, its on your own head. I will not hold your hoof and Hira will certainly not send a search party after you."
'Kaia, help me not kill them,' the words were dry against his mind. 'But I would certainly never hear the end of it if I were to fail because of their incompetence.' Without another word, the pale stallion pressed forward; wind biting at his back as he pushed against the snow. Once they reached the cover of the forest, the gusts would subside and the journey may become more bearable. Onea's piney woods were dense and perfect cover for the frequent and long winters of the north; but shelter drew more than just horses looking for easy passage.
As the party reached the safety of the trees, the winds began to die; thwarted by the sturdy wide branches of the pines. It made Haku grin, the knowledge the he was right lifting his already overflowing confidence. Perhaps they would listen to him now.

Icabod|Raider
Icabod nodded and followed after Haku. He had gotten his energy out. The roan stallion was ready to get down to business. He knew that his mane job was to protect the scouts but, he was more concerned about finding the Serorans and their lost group members than really protecting anyone. It was his thought that they were all War Forged so they should all be strong enough to fend for themselves. Icabod kept his eyes out for danger. The rumbling snow down the mountain was starting to get to him. His tremor sense was being uncooperative. Every little vibration could be felt underhoof. Luckily none of the vibrations were from predators. Nor did he see any tracks from them in the snow. Then again, it was still snowing, covering all sorts of tracks. He shook his head. They would be fine. If anything did get attacked they could easily fight whatever it was off. "So where exactly are we headed. We can't keep moving forward without a plan. We've got to get one job done or another. Hira gave us a mission so we should follow through, right? Unless you'd prefer we just get to safety. But I don't think we're really in any position to be going anywhere safe, considering our location." Icabod finally noticed that Haku seemed very annoyed. He cleared his throat. "Sorry, sir. I'll stop bothering you I just want to be sure we have a plan."

Liam | Scout
Well that was... unusual. Seeing such a large stallion, a raider especially, prancing through the snow like a love struck filly. A coy grin pulled at the stallions lips, this would certainly be an interesting story. Though he doubted anyone would believe him. The idea of a raider frolicking through the snow was so unconventional he would likely be labeled a liar. Ah well, at least he could keep the image in his head to chuckle at in the future.
Attention snapped away from the raider when Haku spoke, and the scout nodded. Moving was not only important to completing their mission, but staying still, even for the short time they, had set a chill in his joints that caused them to protest trudging through the forming drifts. This really was going to be a bad one.
Liam kept his head nearly on the ass of the horse in front of him. Partly to block some of the wind, but mostly to keep from loosing his way. It was growing harder to see through the white. He did manage to catch the words which the prancing stallion had said to their leader and he sighed. "We have to find the Serorans. They don't stand a chance in this," he said, mostly to Icabod. It had been the initial plan after all. "If we go back to Skeldr without them, I imagine the War Lord will enjoy having our hides for a new rug. Kaia knows the Stone Circle could use the decoration."

Clyde|Raider
Clyde had watched as the stallion raider who had been jumping threw the snow finally join the group to discuss what they should be doing. As Lian spoke behind them he looked back and nodded his head as he looked back to their leader. “He does have a good point, I am very sure our Lord would unlike that we come back without the Serorans safe” Clyde had to put his point out there and agree. He was a raider and failing wasn’t on his list of things to do, they could find the Serorans and make sure they would be safe then head back for the lost group before things would get worse. They were again use to this kind of weather and it had never stopped anyone before. He left his gaze over to Haku waiting for him to choose what it was they could do, he moved his gaze slowly around the group only to find himself thinking of moving on ahead but wish a little more though he knew that would have been a bad idea.

Haku | Shield
His chest released a heavy sigh and with it a small fog against the biting air. They did have a point, as much as the stallion hated to admit it; taking cover in the shelters of the forest simply would not do. Hira, their lord, was waiting and trusted Haku with such a simple task. He could not- no WOULD NOT, disappoint her. "Once we have reached the bottom of the mountain, the storm should be stable enough to continue on. For now, let's just focus on getting through this weather without loosing each other." A hard glare was sent in Icabod's direction. The young ones always thought themselves invincible, as if nothing in the world could keep them from their objectives. It was a good trait to have on some occasions but it also led to bull-headedness and over confidence. And while the raider was not a foal in body he certainly had not matured in the mind.
Another breath of wind flew through the maze of trees nipping aggressively at the shield's pale neck. The wolves pelt that hugged Haku's shoulders had never failed him except in the season's deepest winters when snow began to cling desperately to the soft fur. It made him long for the warm fireplace and comfort of his bed. He was no raider, no scout. He was not made for the elements but for serving Hira. And served her he did, even if it meant trudging through the slop of snow and ice as it hurled itself from the heavens.
'It's a good thing I enjoy her company so much.' The thought was dry but honest. He would not be here if he didn't have any respect for the mare.
As the moment passed, blue eye's caught a glimpse of a shadow beyond the trees. It lasted a mere second before it was gone, swallowed in the flurry of snow as it whirled around the party. The shield's brow furrowed, straining to see the shadow once again but with no luck. Could it have been a mirage hidden in the pines and ice? Perhaps. But Haku had learned long ago not to discount anything so easily; especially when sight was lacking.
"Keep moving and stay together!"

Icabod frowned and laid his ears back at the glare cast towards him. Apparently, his apology wasn't sufficient enough. He hated being in the situation he was. Not because of the weather or the task, but because of the horses he was with. It was ever so obvious they didn't enjoy his company. And he was sure the task could be easier done on his own. The roan stallion shook his head. At least he didn't mention it out loud.
Icabod froze for a brief second as he saw the shadow flash past them. From the view he had, it was quite obviously something. His hope was that it was simply a deer or loose apana. He kept his eyes on the trees as they continued onward. Maybe keeping his mouth shut and simply following would be the best idea.
Too late. The stallion let out a yelp as the snow underfoot gave way. It must have been a gopher hole he assumed but couldn't be sure. Maybe even a den. Icabod pulled his leg out carefully and shook off the excess snow as best he could before walking again.

Liam | Scout
This really wasn't his thing, as Raiders were generally the ones expected to protect traveling parties. But seeing as he was the eldest scout in the party, and likely the one who had experienced more situations like this than the rest of them, he would do everything he could to make sure the mission was completed successfully. Yes, the Shield Haku was still in charge, but he was more used to remaining in the comforts of Skeldr. Liam had spent the majority of his life in a tent.
The stallion followed after Haku as he spoke to continue down the mountain, hoping what he said about the blizzard easing up was true, but the reality was that this storm was only looking to get worse. That would've been enough to worry about had a shadow not rushed between the trees in his peripheral. Before he could get a better grasp on what it was, a yelp rang through the air and his attentions were turned to Icabod. As his heart calmed from the sudden excitement, he grinned. "Careful, you never know what's under the snow. And you could wander straight off a cliff in a white-out like this," he said as cheerfully as he could to the rather sullen looking stallion.
Once that was sorted, Liam trotted up to Haku, keeping a sharp eye on the trees around them. "We ought to be careful," the scout said to their leader. "There are dangerous beasts roaming about tonight. Let's hope there are no mares with the Serorans." The first snow of the season was always an eerie night, and Liam did his best to avoid being out in it, but tonight he didn't have a choice.

Clyde|Raider
“Finally” Clyde had thought to himself as they began to move thru the storm and of course the weather only picked up. The chill in the air was like needles poking into his skin, the snow hitting his eyes like bees trying to sting him. As they moved deeper and deeper into the snow he watched the group and stayed quiet and thinking to himself. Liam once again had a point there was danger out there and it could be anywhere, the trees would be his first guess for anything that would try and make the small group it’s next meal. But Clyde stayed quite like normal, this wasn’t his ideal group to be around and he still didn’t seem to care much for following them in this storm but with no choice he did what he was told like the good stallion he is. “Not much longer” he managed to say thinking he was speaking to himself in thoughts, he was ready to get out of this strong and cold wind and hopped it would die down soon.

Icabod|Raider
Icabod stopped in his tracks. He whirled around to face the scout. It took all his strength not to make a complete ass of himself about the reaction. "I was born on this mountain and I've lived on it for years. I know how to be safe and frankly, the edge is way over there." He snorted stubbornly. Icabod turned back around and kept trudging through the snow. His ear twitched when he heard Hyde's comment but he didn't really care, simply ignored it. After a few more minutes of walking, the roan stallion noticed an approaching threat. He stopped once more. "There's a predator watching us." He whispered while gesturing through the trees. "What should we do about it? Don't really feel like getting eaten today..." Icabod waited for a reply. If he let his eyes off of the shadowy figure he was sure it would attack.

Haku | Shield
With a gentle gate, Haku slid forward approaching Icabod from behind. He moved slowly, gracefully, neither snow nor ice faltering his perfected walk. Eyes narrowed, straining to see what the Raider was fixated on. At first, there was nothing but white and grey swirling every which way between the trees but there, in the darkness of the forest he saw it: a pair of eyes. Glowing with a shimmering gold against the storm, they shone with a dim light. A wolf, perhaps?
The Shield snorted. A single wolf would not attack a group of full grown stallions but...Ears swiveled; straining, listening. Kaia's high whistle rang through the valley, carried on the winds of the storm. It was shrill, like a scream or a ma-cab song the earth goddess took pleasure in. Haku paused, pushing past her cries and deeper into the woods as if to reach out and touch every branch. All seemed quiet until the soft crunch of snow caught his ears; paw steps. They were in front of him, pacing madly as the gold eyes moved back and forth through the shadows. The beast was a good few strides away, enough time for any of them to take action if it decided to best it's chances against the group of horses.
But suddenly, the unmistakable crunch of snow sounded behind them.
To the left.
To the right.
'Damn it!' Haku cursed under his breath, his heart pounding against his ribs and up into his ears. How could he have missed all of them?! '5...6...7...10!' "Move together!!" It did not matter if they heard them now, the damage was already done. "The pack has us surrounded. Prepare yourselves for a fight!"

Night is falling fast and the snow is only worsening. As the conversation turns to considering the options- keep looking for the others, make camp, or go home- suddenly glowing eyes appear out of the darkness. A pack of wolves, and they look a lot less lost than you are- and much hungrier! One herd member (volunteer) is immeadiately attacked and falls down! [next character to post is volunteer]

Liam | Scout
Amber eyes flash in and out of the trees. Wolves… The stallions mind races. How many? Sweet Kaia they were everywhere! Liam ran toward the other stallions. Being the smallest, and a scout, things weren’t great for him. He could easily out run or out wit a pack of wolves, he’d done so before, but not in these conditions.
Out of the white abyss, two wolves were on his hindquarters. Liam groaned, unable to run under their weight. He did his best to buck, forcing his hind end into the air, but it was no use. Before he knew it, a third wolf, a rather large one, came from the right and slammed into his shoulder, sending all four of them toppling into the snow. Liam snorted and roared, rolling over to land on the larger wolf, but the rest descended like vultures.
There were so many. More than he could count in the confusion. Dark legs thrashed at them, but they were smarter than he realized. A few of them grabbed at his hind legs; trying to hold them so he couldn’t fight back. The rest were tearing into his flesh. It was so painful and he could see the blood beginning to dye the snow red.
“GET OFF!” Liam roared, rage filling his eyes. A wolf came up around his head and the stallion lashed out, clamping onto its leg with his teeth. It yelped in pain and spun around, grabbing hold of his face. He wasn’t going to die here. He refused too.

Icabod|Raider
Icabod stood for a moment, unable to move as he watched the scene go down. Then a wolf was on his back. The raider leaped into the air with a manly shriek. HE bucked wildly, trying to remove the beast from his back. "Hold on, Liam! I got you!" He called as he bounded through the snow. The wolf clung to his back. Claws pierced his thick fur and skin sending streaks of blood down his lighter red fur. He picked up enough pace through the snow to get the wolf off balance. It tumbled to the snow and crawled away before Icabod could strike it. He bounded towards Liam as quickly as possible. Icabod sent a hoof down on one of the wolf's heads. But, it was no use, there were too many of them. He wouldn't be able to stop all of them alone. He supposed that it was a good thing he wasn't alone. He reared and struck at another wolf that snapped at his legs. The roan stallion glanced around at the other stallions in the group. "How do we beat them!?" He shouted in terror. It wasn't often that Icabod was scared, but the circumstances were less than perfect.

Clyde|Raider
"Finally" muttered the large stallion, he was starting to feel like this was becoming a drag with no action or a true interesting conversation and as soon as the wolves began their attack on Liam and Icabod Clyde let a grin on his face as wolves were all around. This was his kind of fun, this is what Clyde was here for, the large stallion rose to his hind legs and bared his teeth at oncoming wolves and as he to a leap forward he gave one a good kick in the side and another a nip on it's tail sending it running with missing hairs. He took a long leap to the stallion's in need of his aid. Taking one bite into the wolf attached to Liam's leg he ripped at it's back making it let go and tossed it to the side "Come on you damn beasts!" Clyde yelled in a thrilled tone as wolves jumped at his face and onto his back. He was starting to feel their bites and claws digging their way into his skin as he did his best to try and help the others remove the wolves from themselves. Now struggling with his own issue of wolves pilling on top of him causing him to go down to his knees, he leaned his head back and pulled on of the wolves and ripped it from his back and pushed his upper body back up and headbutted one attached to his front leg.

Haku | Shield
It took a single breath for the pack to descend on the party, fangs bared and hungry. Haku could hear Liam's screams behind him, followed in quick succession by the others. He moved to turn, prepared to push away the ravenous canines from his herd mates and crush their skulls beneath his hooves, but the sudden pain against his back told him otherwise. The rip of skin was a disgusting sound, no matter if it was his own or someone else's, and it made his ears curl in disgust. The pain came next, sharp stabs against his spine as he struggled and bucked to fling the beast off. "You fiend!" the words flew from his lips as the rage and fear grew within him. He was no scout, no fighter, but he would not die today.
Haku spun once before allowing his weight to drop into the snow. He aimed to drop onto his back and crush the wolf beneath his mass. It would enough to surprise the beast, the pain releasing itself as it lost hold, but quickly it darted away. There was no time to celebrate though. With a wince, the Shield pushed himself back up and charged at the pile that had massed themselves over Liam. Head down, the paso swung; curled horns paving a path as the creatures scatted in an attempt to avoid his attack.
He swung again, this time catching a wolf in the curve of his horn. Haku could feel its weight against his head and with every ounce of muscle he could use, lifted the canine up and flung it against a nearby tree. He heard the sickening crack of bones and pinned his ears once more. He could only hope he had shattered its spine.
"Make them wish they were never born!" He cried out in response to Icabod's panicked question. "Show them no mercy."

Liam | Scout
He wasn't finished. He wasn't going to die here. Liam roared, whipping his head back to hit a wolf coming up on him, causing the one who had latched onto his face to rip away. The rest of the party was all being attacked as well, but they were fairing a bit better than the silver bay. The stallion groaned. The pain was excruciating. It felt as though there were dozens of them on him, ripping the flesh from his body. Brown eyes were still filled with fire, but it was flickering. If one of the others didn't help soon...
Suddenly, large blue horns swung over him, causing the beasts to scatter. With the shields next pass, he hooked one of the creatures clinging to Liam's hind legs. That was all he needed. Liam twisted over, kicking out with his hind legs to get the wretched beasts to release him. Others tried to descend on him again, to keep him down. It wasn't going to be so easy. It took a lot of strength, but he managed to jump to his feet, quickly bucking to send another wolf flying.
Their leaders rallying cry was enough for him. He generally wasn't very merciful anyway. Liam rushed forward, rearing up to strike one of the wolves attacking Clyde. They had managed to create a window, but it wouldn't last long. And the scout doubted they could fight them all off. He calmed his battle rage for a moment, turning to Haku. "We can't take them all!" he shouted over the snarls and stallions roars of the fight, raising up to strike another than came for him. How long could they keep this up? How many more had yet to come out of the trees?

Clyde|Raider
Hearing their leader yell out and push his way threw wolves and making his way to the group, he watched as wolves ran and other came, he pulled his ears back at the sounds much like Haku had done. Seeing as Liam reared and helped him he nodded his head to the silver bay and got to his hooves and with one kick of his back legs he shook off a wolf that had attached itself to his hind leg. "Are you okay?" He asked Haku and Liam before he grabbed another wolf with his jaws and flung it away from them "we should take this time to try and do something" Clyde spoke quickly as some of the wolves took off away from the group. "They won't stay away for long and I agree... We can't hold this up for to long.. There are way to many of them" Clyde added and hated every word of it, he never enjoyed running away but knew very well when he was out numbered and when it was time to live over allowing such beasts to kill him.

Icabod | Raider
Icabod nodded at the words. A wolf he was rearing above was in the perfect position. As it snarled and snapped at his legs, Icabod came down with a crushing force. The stallion managed to break the wretched beast's spine. He had a wicked grin on his face. It was a long time ago that he got blood on his hooves. But, it certainly wasn't a victory yet.
The roan stallion was bombarded by three more wolves. He reared, bucked, lashed at, and bit them as best he could. Icabod could feel the blood dripping from new scars. His eyes were firey with the fight in his heart, commanding him to destroy their enemies.
With a loud yelp another wolf was knocked unconscious and a new one took its place. He thrashed around, landing a few devastating blows were they landed none. He glanced at the other stallions briefly. They seemed to be holding their own. Icabod wished more than ever that he could have been born with a horn. How it would have helped him in battle would be extraordinary. The stallion shook the thought away as he managed to kill two more wolves. But the pack seemed endless. He felt bad for the poor soul that would stumble across the bloodied battle ground and have to wonder what had gone down. "There's too many of them!" He hollered.

Haku | Shield
"Filthy cowards," the pale stallion spat, kicking another wolf behind him. The other's were right, the scope of the pack had only grown in number as they banded together, no doubt driven by their starvation. He eye'd another beast as is flew past him and toward Liam, its ribs very clearly defined beneath its thick winter coat. Onea's winter was long and this years had been especially unforgiving to all that lived on the land. Still, it did not mean the equine were ready to give up so easily.
Haku charged froward, grabbing the wolf that just passed him by the neck and biting down hard. The creature struggled and yelped, clawing desperately at the shield's face and neck as it tried to free itself. But today, the stallion was angry; his already irritable state fueling his desire of destruction. With a heavy swing of the head, he sent the wolf flying into a group of other's, the wind very clearly knocked from their lungs.
"Find the leader!" he shouted orders to his herd mates. They would not flee here like dogs with tails between their legs. "Once you destroy it, the others will leave!"

Liam | Scout
Liam was up now. On his feet he could protect himself. But after jumping up and his little outburst, he didn't feel... right. He felt like his body had been ripped to shreds, and in some places it certainly had. The stallion was bleed profusely from everywhere. Large gashes were torn into his face, neck, legs, and sides. Being forced down by a pack of wolves wasn't exactly something you could just walk away from, let alone get up and be battle ready after.
The cold set into him harder than before. Even with the tree cover, the blood loss meant he couldn't retain heat and you could see thre steam rising off the streams of red as they raced down to the snow. This wasn't good. Liam had been in bad scraps before, but this... this was really bad. The stallion coughed, widening his stance to keep from falling over into the snow. Listening to the others, his ruddy gaze looked around, taking in every wolf and searching for a specific one. As Haku drew closer Liam saw it. "There!" he shouted, motioning toward a rather large wolf that was standing behind some trees pacing. That had to be the leader. Liam tried to move forward, but his legs were stiff and weakening fast. The others were going to have to finish this.

Icabod|Raider
Icabod nodded as Haku told them the best way to get out of the situation alive. He bucked and reared to get two wolves off his back. Then he followed Liam's gaze. The wolf was certainly larger than the rest. He charged for it. "We should take it down together! It's so big that if it got its jaws around one of our throats we'd be dead!" Icabod called back to his companions.
It was difficult to reach the alpha. The other wolves were still bombarding him as he bounded through the thick snow. It took a lot of effort not to fall on his face. His muscles were tired and he was bleed profusely from his back. Icabod tossed one wolf at a tree, a loud yelp echoed on the mountain. Soon enough he reached the lead wolf and lunged at it. Despite its size it was very agile. He had a difficult time landing any blows, none of which did much harm to it. The roan briefly looked back at the others for help. "Come on!"
