Pilgrim Talori | Craftsman On a gathering storm comes A tall handsome man In a dusty black coat with A red right hand
Howling winds pulled on his mane and swirled the curly strands around. Trees around him creaked under the sheer force of Alyas gift. A scornful smile spread across his face for a moment, as he thought about the gods. They where weak. All of them. Sending wind and rain, that was all they were capable of. Pathetic.
A loud crack turned his attention back to the here and now, just in time to witness another tree falling. Still a young plant, without deep roots to withstand the raging storm. With a snort he continued his way forward. He'd better be out of the Wilds soon or the next tree might bury him beneath it, and he had no interest in dying.
Pilgrim was on his way back to the Pearl, after the meeting with a Rouge client. The repair of the Pearl was more expensive than he had thought, and so he had to take more jobs outside of his business again to fund it. This also meant traveling through the Wilds during a damn storm just to get to a client.
Suddenly something strange catched the stallions attention. A glint of pale blue in the close distance. Strange, that kind of light reminded him of gemstones... Who would be crazy enough to carry precious gemstones through the Wilds at night? And during such a storm? A fool maybe. Pilgrim could use some valuable gems right now... The mischievous grin on his face was back, as he slowly started to follow the glint through the jungle. There was no need to be silent, for the wind concealed all other noises. Like a ghost the made his way closer and closer to the light, just to realize that he was following only one horse. A single horse with gemstones? This became better and better. At least until he came close enough to realize that the there weren't any gemstones for him to steal, instead, the stranger was covered in something that looked like scales. A new kind of interest sparked a light in his eyes. The greed was replaced by the urge to gain knowledge about this creature. The scaled equine seemed to be smaller than him, and appeared lost by the look of it's posture. Pilgrims decision was quickly made, and so he stepped out of the dark into the strangers range of vision. "You seem lost" he said with a gentle, fake smile on his face. His voice was calming and warm.

ISYKLE
She was supposed to be home by now. Why was she not home? Head lifted and tried to make any sense of direction from this storm. The wind pelted her from both sides and the rain soaked her from above and below. No matter what she did her coven hooves just could not seem to get a grip on the muddy terrain and more then once she fell to her knees. Soft words of frustration where stolen by the wind, her stubbornness driving her ever forward. Arianna would be so worried...
The longer Isykle was out in this mess of weather, she felt a need, a longing to get to the greenhouse she called home. It was safe, warm and comforting. A branch flew into her face and the kirin reared with a roar, only to feel the mud give out on her back legs, sending her down to her side once more. An angry scream left her, forcing herself back up again. This weather would not get the best of her! But Isykle was cold, so very wet and could no longer make heads of tails of this jungle.
When all hope seemed lost, a voice spoke out to her, causing her form to tense and spin quickly. He was so very tall, and the white coat nearly glowed in the dimming light. The young kirin could have smiled had she not been warned by her friends to be careful around adults. Hooves stepped back slightly as she lowered her head and narrowed her eyes. "Assumption." She stated blandly. "What do you want...?" Her brain did find it a bit odd that suddenly a near ghost had found her in the middle of no where.

The Hippocampus watched with slight amusement as the little creature made a step back and lowered his head, like a young bull that thinks it can scare others away with it's baby horns. Meanwhile Pilgrim was almost sure that the horse before him was one of Ignacios creations. The nubs on her head where still to small to say if they would grow to horns or antlers, but the scales that covered spoke volumes. He had heard rumors of Kirins sightings all over Hireath. Some even spoke of Kirins in Aquore...but until now he had never seen one by himself.
The smile on his face was still there, but it wasn't fake anymore. Turmoil and chaos spread across the lands, and Ignacios creations could play a big part in it. This was his change to study one of them, to learn, and to make good use of that knowledge. "An assumption, indeed. A true one nonetheless. Or do you want to tell me that you know the way back home?" he asked and turned away from her. "However, I won't impose my help on you if you don't want it. I wish you a safe way home."
As he started to walk past her, Pilgrim started to hum silently, as if he was in thought. It wouldn't case her to fall asleep, but make her slightly tired, and hopefully more open to his words. He'd prefer to lure her close to the Pearl and only then making her fully asleep. However, if she would refuse to come with him, he had to use the full power of his blessing right now, and drag her all the way to the Pearl. Something he'd gladly avoid.

ISYKLE
He spoke again. With a small snort she pawed the ground once. "I can find my way back." eventually. Head tossed once, clearly in no mood to deal with some adult who felt it was his right to be condescending towards her. She was still a proud creature and would not merely role belly up and ask for help like a damsel in distress. Dirt was tossed behind her, muddy and heavy it splattered against her back leg. She kicked out once, ridding the access from her form. Everything about this felt wrong, felt off. But... Everything to her felt off all the time. With another snort, rain dripping down her face she pinned her ears and watched him walk.
A tiredness she could not explain sunk into her bones and caused her legs to wobble and threaten to give out. She couldn't be that tired yet, could she?! Isykle flicked her tail and felt her head drip. Maybe she had been out longer then she expected or even knew. Eyes shifted slowly to the massive white creature moving away from her before she slowly turned and followed him with exhausted eyes.
Yet the little kirin kept her distance for the most part, just following his glowing white form through the thick brush. Maybe, once he had found the city again she could finally piece her way back to Arianna's farm. The little shed tucked away in the back was something she wanted so badly to stumble into right now. A yawn pulled her lips apart once more and her head sagged more. Why did she feel like she needed to sleep?

The large stallion nodded, with a false, benevolent smile on his face. "Of course you can, pardon me for my previous words." he replied and walked away. Unlike the little fire creature, he knew the way back home very well. Through the loud sound of the rain, he listed to the the noises of small and angry hoovesteps somewhere behind him. For a moment he thought that his plan wouldn't work out, but eventually the kirin started to follow him. Excellent. Now he could only hope that no predator would show interest on the two travelers. It would be ashamed if the kirin would get damaged before he could take a closer look at her.
And whoever god, demigod or other entity listened, heard his prayer. The lights of the city came in sight, without any incidents on the way. The weather was still bad, stormy and with pouring rain. If his lucky streak would hold just a little longer, then no one was outside to see what he planned on doing next. Pilgrims humming turned into a song, a soft lullaby with just a single purpose. His steps slowed down, and before he reached the borders of the city, he heard a dull sound behind him and the wicked smile came back.
The Craftsman turned around and walked back to the kirin, that now lay on the muddy ground, asleep. "Sweet dreams my dear" he murmured and hefted her up, over his shoulders.
On his way to the pearl, the stallion had to admit that he was a little out of shape. The time owning the Pearl, without any real, physical effort, had made his muscles weak. Something he would have change in the future. "You are heavier than you look" he complained to the unconscious kirin on his back.
When he finally reached the Pearl, he wasn't surprised to see that the lights were still on. Helios, the faithful Accountant of the bathhouse was seldom away from the house. This could have been a problem now, but Pilgrim trusted the Servant more than anyone else in this godforsaken country.
The gold coated horse looked up from the batch of documents before him, when Pilgrim entered the house. "Sir?" he asked, "Who is this?". "A guest Helios. I found her unconscious in the Wilds. Couldn't leave the poor thing behind at this dangerous place, right? She'll stay here until she is awake, then I'll escort her back home", Pilgrim stated and before he walked to one of the backrooms with Isykle, he turned his head around to the Servant once more. "Knock off work for today Helios, I see you tomorrow" For a moment the Accountant looked a little angry, then he bowed his head and nodded. "Of course. Good night Sir. Hopefully your...guest...is alright." The Hippocampus snorted slightly amused, before he continued his way to the backroom. Helios knew more than most others about him, not enough of course to guess who he was before he came to Aquore, but still much. His loyalty however, was undisputed.
Pilgrim released a relieved groan when he finally could remove the weight of the kirin from his shoulders, and placed her on one of the luxurious beds. He knew that it wouldn't take her too long to wake up, but he still decided to leave for a moment to make them both a cup of tea. When he came back, her eyelids had already began to flutter. She was fighting her way back, out of the dreamworld he had send her to. With a faked mask of worry on his face, he waited for her to defeat the sleep.

ISYKLE
Darkness
It was something she had come to loathe, to dread each night she needed to go to sleep. The black void that surrounded her, encased her with no memories and no dreams she felt more alone then before. It's tendrils of isolation clawed at her, dragging her down into the despair within the kirin's own head. Questions fluttered and grew, gaining more and more doubt, feeding them and growing around her as if becoming another entity all together.
Why cannot I not change like the other Hippocampus...
Why does no one have scales like me...?
I am no pegasus yet I am treated with such hate, anger and fear...
Why....
Something licked at her consciousness,a presence, a feeling of not being alone... She grasped at it, trying to draw herself into the light. It felt like mud surrounded her, sucking her back down. Groggy... Finally eyes fluttered, fighting to awaken fully. But her surroundings... Soil and the fragrance of flowers where absent and beneath her was soft, cushy even. Head shook, a growl leaving her as lips bared and fanged teeth where shown. Yet her limbs refused to work. This was not at all like a sleep she had experienced before.
Frantic ready to fight eyes darted around the room, soon coming to rest on the massive white beast before her. "You...!" She snarled, weakly trying to stand as nearly baby fawn like legs refused to listen. Head tossed, as if knowing to brandish large antlers from upon her head but none where there. Her almost spiked tail whipped about the mattress, grabbing and pulling, ripping some of the sheets. "Back off!" Feisty even when her body didn't want to listen properly.

Watching, waiting, thoughtfully. It was always interesting to watch his victims to fight off the sleep he had forced upon them. He longed for the day when he finally would gain greater control of his blessing. When he would be able to bend the will of the asleep as he wanted. Someday, but not this day.
Curiously Pilgrim watched Isykles fight against the sleep. The young creature was fierce and furious. Unknowing about what had happened to her. The stallion raised an eyebrow when the kirin ripped one of his good sheets into pieces with her spiked tail. "It wouldn't hurt you to be a little more careful" he let her know and made a step back, to give her a little more space to calm down. "Yes it's me. And you little girl should be a little more grateful. I had to carry you all the way from the Wilds to my Pearl after you have knocked yourself out. Guess you have been hit by a falling down branch or something. And I had no idea where else I should bring you...so I took you here." the craftsman explained completely calmly to her. "How do you feel? I can call a Cleric in the morning if you are in pain or something."
It was strange to see a kirin. They had been dead for centuries, mere legends nowadays, and now he had one right in front of him. A young one, sure, but still one of Ignacio's mythical creations. That was fascinating. And it created chaos all over Hireath. Their existence served his god. "I'm Pilgrim"
