As the door slammed behind him, Ragnarok immediately let his cool facade, his ears instantly pressing back in irritation. Fajra, the lioness, trotted to keep up with his quick pace, her golden eyes lingering suspiciously on Sahkmet. The stallion's shoulder cloak brushed against his leg as he went, his messy hair rustling in the breeze. He was not okay with how that meeting - no, interrogation - had went, but he was not going to dwell on it. It seemed as though the nobles all fit in a little box, and if you didnt want to conform..
A snort left his nostrils at the thought. He didn't want to conform. He wasnt the same Noble as they were. He had started as a commoner, a rat on the streets. He had worked his way to where he was now, and he was not going to fit himself into their little box.
His gaze shifted to Sahkmet at his side, studying her briefly before turning his dark red eyes back ahead. "You owe me a drink." He finally said, a small lopsided smile finding his lips.
He could sense her attitude toward him was different, and he had an idea as to why, but he wasnt willing to admit it. He missed the friendship they used to have, and longed for it back, but he wasnt going to drop to his knees and beg.
"Though i did find it amusing how they all got riled up over a little broken glass." He adding in a chuckle, keeping his voice low in case they could hear through the walls. "Uptight bastards."

Sahkmet inhaled deeply, her ears crooked as she couldn't decide between pinning them or flattening them against her neck. She glanced at Rags as he mentioned her owing him a drink. "Oh? You think I owe you a drink now? Do you deserve one?" She sneered sharply, rolling her eyes and dropped her head and shoulders as she walked ahead of him.
"Ridiculous. They should have been doing more than questioning him but...Whatever, not my problem." She flicked her tail in one graceful move and looked back at Ragnarok. "No kidding..." She took another deep breath and cracked her jaw to one side. "I'm heading to yours. Me owing you a drink? Nah, but I can certainly drink you under the table in your own place. I need it. It was suffocating in there."
She began to walk ahead, leaving him behind as she headed towards the location of his casino.

His ears flicked forward as she questioned him, asking is he deserved a drink before storming ahead. He chuckled softly, quickening his steps enough to keep up, but not enough to pass her. Did he really deserve one? "No." He snorted. "No, i dont deserve one, but that doesnt stop me from wanting one. You did spill my last one, after all."
He nodded as she continued to speak. Right. Not their problem. He worked his jaw at the thought, taking in a breath through flared nostrils. It had all been very irritating, to say the least, but.. not their problem.
A lopsided grin found his lips as she spoke up again, challenging him to a drink. His brow narrowed, lips parting. "If you say so." He said before taking on a heavy trot to keep up.
It didnt take them long to get to the casino since it had been relocated to the Noble district. Ragnarok was still trying to get used to it, as he had lived in the old dump of a place for way too long. The doors werent heavy and didnt creak when they opened. The floor boards didnt groan beneath his hooves. The lights no longer flickered.
Opening the doors for Sahkmet first before following, he squinted against the bright lights that flooded the common area. Yes, it would still take some getting used to. Luckily, since it was still early enough in the morning, Gameland was relatively empty. The only ones here were probably deadbeats with daddy's money.. gross.
The door closed behind them and the stallion glanced toward Sahkmet, arching his brow. "What do you want to drink?"
