Lost and Found A meeting between Starla and Jushiro
Jushiro
The kirin was making his way through the muted colored town. He trotted past various horses who all looked at him curiously. He was used to the looks he received now. Not many horses had seen a kirin before, and now that him and his kind were popping up all over hiearth equine couldn't get enough of them and their looks. Jushiro wore his jaw and fur breast collar today, he had heard a rumor that equine speculated the jaw of the animal he worse was a dragon. Shiro naturally scoffed at such accusations. The equine of the desolate land needed something to chat about, a foreigner wearing bones and fur was the perfect opportunity.
As Jushiro headed through town, not quite paying attention to his surroundings he felt the brush of fur and muscle next to his leg and reared up, looking down, praying he did not just squash an innocent being. Seeing the shaggy looking pup Shiro raised a brow and carefully returned to the ground, minding the dog's body as he did. The blue roan looked around for an owner, or is companions near by. "What are you doing over here?" He asked the dog. As the dog barked Jushiro couldn't help but smile at how cute the pup was, revealing his own pointed canines. "Where're you from?" He asked the dog and Looked around again, his slit pupils trying to find anything that might clue him to who was with him.
"Dog, you seem like a trouble maker." He mumbled, "C'mon, lets find your partner." He said and walked off, the dog neat his heels.

Enki barked happily as the strange horse walked with her. Starla hadn't had anyone in the shop today, and so she needed to bring someone there to make her happy. As they walked, she edged towards the shop, hoping for the strange horse to follow her. She hopped up the stairs to the shop, towards the edge of town. The windows were filled with various pieces of jewelry, and a few jars of preserved wild fruits from before the snow had arrived, burying half of the town in the heavy white flakes. It was rather noticeable on this storefront, as only the minimum was cleared, allowing one to see the windows, and get to the door. At the door, she let out a sharp bark, scratching the bottom corner of the door. There were a few faint marks, but none deep.
"Enki! stop that!" A voice rang out from the shop, as a black mare with silver mane and tail passed in front of the window, and opened the door, her dark purple teke glowing around the door handle, as she opened it, looking out. "Oh, hello there!" She said, looking back in, then looking back, clearly startled, but that expression cleared quickly. "I hope Enki didn't bother you too much." She gave a smile, "Would you like to come in? I can get you a cup of tea, to warm yourself with." Enki barked again, and circled Jushiro's legs, pushing him towards the open door.

Jushiro's crimson eyes tracked the dog as it easily moved through the many bodies that crowded the streets. The kirin kept up though. He was squeezing past some horses that were on his way, when he noticed the dog climbing up stairs to a cute little shop. One of Jushiro's dark brows rose as he came closer, passing by the window. He allowed himself a moment to glimpse as the impressive wares that were displayed to the public. He eyed the preserves too, thinking how delicious the jam would be for his breakfast, which currently was oolong tea, some pine nuts, and some going stale bread he had been gifted from a neighbor. He watched the beast paw the door, wondering if he should let it in. But his answer came when the door opened and a warm voice sternly greeted the dog.
Jushiro allowed himself a moment to look at the mare that poked her head out of the door. Like almost all the other equine, she was not a kirin, but instead a common horse with decorative braids in her silver mane that caught Shiro's eye. Jushiro smiled a tad "Not at all." He said, he hadn't minded the beat's need for attention. As the mare asked him to come in and offered the idea of tea Jushiro was about to politely say no, he did not want to be a bother, till Enki barked and circled him. "Ah, sure. If you don't mind." He said and smiled as he walked in and shut the door behind himself. As he shook once to get the dirt off him at the door he looked around, "These are impressive pieces you're selling." He said as he got a closer look at one necklace in particular befoe straightening up and coming in further.

Starla smiled at the compliment. "Thank you. My mother taught me how to make them." She replied as she headed towards the back counter, where a set of tools laid on a wooden shelf, next to a pile of gems and settings, and a silver chain. She headed through a back door for a moment, and a bit of clatter could be heard, before she came out with a pot of tea and two mugs on a tray, and a small cup of water, which she poured into a bowl that sat near a cushion behind the counter. Enki barked happily as she trotted over to it, lapping up the water. Starla smiled as she set the tray down. "Here we go... I'm afraid I don't have much sugar or honey to spare, most of it was put into my preserves." She chuckled slightly. "By the way, my name is Starla, and of course, That's Enki, my familiar."
