Bale & Moonrise - current time, post Chapter 4. Bale visits Moonrise's forge to update his gear. BALE In the whirlwind of his brand new life, everything was changing, shifting place, taking new form and being re-invented. It was a rather winding ordeal, but Bale tried his best to keep everything in order, and most importantly keep his cool. He had learned that in Aodh, appearance tended to be everything, and as a free man, it was something he really needed to take into account. Others were going to stare at him regardless, so at least he could make it worth their while - or so Milan said.
When it came to updating his looks and gear to match his rank, he had at first turned to Milan. As his master Milan had made these things easy for Bale, but now he was just pointed to the right direction and sent along with enough shards to pay for it. Milan had told him that Moonrise had seemed nice - which meant that Bale should be able to make it without fumbling too hard. Milan had also mentioned, in a reassuring manner, that Moonrise had been talking to her familiar - which immediately had sparked Bale's interest. He had almost forgotten about his actual reason for the visit - which was to ask for better fitting metal pieces for his everyday sanctum outfit. The old ones just didn't quite work with his brand new, shiny scales. So, he ended up at Moonrise's shop, cautiously entering.

When Bale entered the shop, the blacksmith wasn't present at first. No instead she was in the back, doing some quick inventory while some ore heated up in the forge. In the corner, a pair of amber eyes watched the Kirin as he entered, and were only visible for a moment before the feline head ducked behind the corner.
Moonrise had heard the bell however, when the door was opened. "I'll be just a moment!" she called, voice echoing down the hallway. She heard the padding of paws and turned around in time to see Soot pad up to her, eyes wide.
"This one saw a scaled one enter your shop!" he meowed, jumping onto the blacksmiths back.
"A kirin? Really?" she said, lower this time, to the semi-furred Lokoi.
"This one does not lie."
An amused snort escaped the Artisan at that comment, before she hung up the list she'd been working on. At a brisk trot her hoofsteps could be heard as she turned the corner into her workshop.
Well Ignacio be damned, there was a Kirin here after all. She'd heard the rumors, of course, that Ignacio had blessed one of their own with scales and antlers. However she'd dismissed them, considering the rumor mill Adoh could be sometimes. Yet here he was, in the flesh, golden scales proof of his existence.
All that ran through her head in a few moments, Kirin or not, he was a potential patron, best not to forget her manners.
"Hello! Welcome to the Lunar Forge, how can my forge be of assistance today?" She asked, warm smile gracing her features as she bowed her head in a quick greeting.
