Queen breathed slightly heavier after speech. Some of these horses very well have been putting off the signs of war. One was obviously the grey hippocampi.
"I'm not exactly sure if my wares fit that list of yours, I may perhaps have a few herbs lying about, but I'm not really one for group activities, my apologies"
Queen's blue eyes rested over Urbi. Her mind clicking over trying to find a use for this horse and it came simple enough. She would need help collecting up things and that meant the backs and hooves of those around her.
"If you don't feel comfortable helping dear, thats alright" Queen made sure her voice was soft. "But i sure could use what herbs you have or the help you could lend in moving things?"
She left her sentence open ended for the hopes Urbi would take up the baton, and if not? Well that was fine enough. They were clearly not of Serora and some just didn't want mixed in with such a mess they found themselves in. Then the other vagabond spoke up for what she feared. About the war.
“War? What do you mean?”
Queen gave the mother mare a sorrowful look, glad she had sent her little one off to play.
"Well, it seems those of Aodh did not appreciate a deal we had made with them being broken. Beyond that its politics to me that unfortunately will twist up many souls that wish not to be apart of it..."
Before she could comfort the obviously startled mare, the potter spoke up chipper as ever! Her and her friends invention enthralled Queen's healer mind. Fresh herbs would be a godsend in dire times. Dried ones worked but some kinds were just simply better right off the leaf. Taking a few steps to Alari she smiled wholeheartedly.
"Serora would greatly appreciate this!" Her eyes sparked as the fellow medicine horse spoke up, validating the pots but offering some slight change. Queen nodded, yes yes, she could see this working. Diana's next words even warmed Queens heart further. This horse had good connections to supplies they would need. Again, Queen nodded. "Yes, yes, Please get word out." Queen turned and pulled out part of the list she had made and handed it to Diana. "Here is some of the things I know for sure we need, if your suppliers have any of these please let them know they may receive some sort of compensation from either myself personally or the herd as a whole"
Letting Diana take the list she looked back to the rest of the group.
"If anyone has any connections to farmers, gatherers, We could even use some tailors. Please head there now. I have small packets you could take, explaining our situation to these horses. If we split up we could be back here in no time. I don't need every item just this second but a simple pledge to get supplies to us soon..." She took the time to look at each horse, with kindness in her eyes. Knowing this was a scary situation for all, but they here could make the herd more prepared for the danger to come. (534)
