Tiga
|| Filly || smol Pegasus ||
Soft desert winds ruffled the feathers of a small pegasus filly as she skipped through the streets of Osulas, she rarely got to visit the city and only did when her mother was in the market trading the things she had gathered from the surrounding desert for the necessities the mare and filly required to live a quiet life in Sedo, outside the bustling city where Tiga was free to train in aerial combat to one day become a fearsome fury. It was best to be far from others during her training because the filly was not only hot-headed, had a short temper when it came to her own shortcomings but also she often misjudged the wind speed or her own maneuverability and came crashing back to earth with a sandy explosion. It was best to crash where the ground was forgiving and not filled with the bodies of others but that fact didn't keep the filly from taking a few daring moments to try and show off her over sized wings to the city around her. She leaped into the air, a bit to close to one building and clipped her leg on the stone where the roof met the wall and tumbled forward, splaying herself unceremoniously across the roof. A cry of pain mixed with the sudden heat of anger and embarrassment that welled up in her throat and caused her blood to bubble, threatening to boil over as she felt the familiar twinge of pain fill one of her front ankles and part of her wing on the same side. "Good going..." The filly grumbled to herself as she carefully picked her body up off the stone roof, feeling her right side suddenly weaker than the left. Squeaking with dismay and pain as she set her right front hoof down she had to pick it back up, removing the pressure and alleviating some of the pain. "Oh Alya! My that smarts!" She whimpered, gingerly half walking half flying herself to the other side of the roof and cautiously jumped back to the stone streets below. Making sure to favor her left side over her hurt right Tiga glanced around worriedly, scanning her surroundings and finding nothing familiar. She wasn't used to the weaving streets those who were chained to the land walked, she usually maneuvered the sprawling city upon the winds using her gift of wings to avoid having to use the stairs that littered the city. Now that she was land locked because of her oh so graceful tumble she didn't know the way to the market and her mother or where to find a Medicine horse to help with her injury. Cursing herself the filly began her slow crawl down the street, half walking half flying in an effort to keep her weight off her injury yet she couldn't fully fly to her destination because of the ache in her wings.

Small disclaimer: I work a full time job mon-sat so don't be afraid to bug me if responses are a bit slow! I can also be terribly forgetful sometimes after a long and rough day at work!
