Tiga
|| Filly || smol Pegasus ||
Winds whipped through the short unkempt mane and forelock of a small filly in flight, her large tan wings spread wide and elegantly catching each gust of upwards wind expertly. The sun beat upon the land in its usual fury, the land almost sweating in places as the heat waves bounced off the soil causing the ground below the filly to waver like a mirage, she always enjoyed flying on days like this, it reduced the likelihood of stepping on a especially scorching pile of sand and burning one's hooves and ankles. Smiling to herself Tiga began the long descent back to the familiar earth after a long morning of aerial training by herself. On her way down she decided to do a few more flips and twirls in the air, trying to perfect a downward plummeting spiral at high velocity before opening her wings at the last moment to slow her fall and land on the sand below her striking the sand roughly with her hooves in a strong mock attack...she waited a moment too long before opening her wings though and ploughed into the sand unceremoniously. Tumbling head over hoof, wings splayed wildly and flapping in an effort to right herself, Tiga ended up with more than just a mouthful of sand as result of her failed maneuver. Luckily for the filly she wasn't going terribly fast or at enough of a downward angle to properly hurt herself and the tumbling bounce her small body fell into instinctively absorbed most of the impact on her body and the soft sand took the rest dispersing the destructive energy she had created, she would be sore in the morning though. Sputtered and squeaking with dismay the filly blinked furiously, trying to rid the sand from her eyes, nose and mouth. Wings still flapping in anger as she jumped from the dirt, beating the earth angrily with her small hooves and striped legs as she ran in a small circle. "Ugh! Fubernuck!" She spat, her childish mind holding no 'bad' words in her limited vocabulary and instead made up her own in an effort to properly express her anguish and anger at failing the maneuver she had seen done time and time before by other fury's. "What did I do wrong?! I studied their movements and did the same! UGH!"

Small disclaimer: I work a full time job mon-sat so don't be afraid to bug me if responses are a bit slow! I can also be terribly forgetful sometimes after a long and rough day at work!
