 Ever since the Bloody Flank raid on the little farms Skye was uncomfortably aware of her lack of fighting skills, particularly in comparison to the seasoned Valkyries and strong Flank Raiders. Not to mention her lack of height thick muscle made most question her ability as a fighter. This was something that used to serve as fuel to her fire, pushing her to be stronger and better but now that she had achieved her dream of being a Valkyrie the reality was setting in. What if she wasn’t strong enough or good enough to be one of the powerful female fighters.
The sun was low in the sky, cresting Mount Skeldr as the early morning breeze dragged thick grey clouds in front of it. Drizzle had begun to fall, quickly soaking Skye to her skin and only adding to her despondent mood. Pretty head lowered slightly she continued down the path that lead away from the Town, hooves dragging in the moody path, slick with rain water and beaten down by the millions of hooves that traversed it every day. However right now the path was practically deserted, clearly no one else wanted to be out this early in the cold rain.
The grey femme wasn’t entirely sure where she was going, or why, so ensnared by her unhappy thoughts that her slender pillars drew her forward only from habit rather than thought. @war-Colt |
