Setting/Plot:
Former acquaintances; flight member Sonya and Alec, a new recruit, come into contact yet again after The Flight gain control of Inaria and most of Talori's population.
The two catch up while searching through the shambled remains of Inaria for anything of use. |

A small gray and white figure with large blue wings meandered through the crumbled buildings of Talori's city. Alec's coal-colored hooves pawed through the rubble, yet to come across anything of true meaning. Still, he couldn't help but feel guilty, after all, he supported this. Inaria was never his home, and never could be under the influence of the council, but he had still spent so much of his life inside these walls. Alec assisted his parents in constructing layouts for a handful of these shops as a kid, not to mention found multiple jobs in a harsh time. He'd be lying if he said the place didn't hold some sentimental value.
It was a hard situation, standing up against Cascade's herd, not to mention, The Flight was definitely a force to be reckoned with, and Alec couldn't help but feel out of place. The small donkey seemed to be hidden among The Flight's strong and talented members, yet at least those members were pegasi he could relate to. This change was for the better, that's all he could tell himself.
Stepping between fallen bricks, he eyed the small amount of company that wandered Inaria's scraps. Most of them were winged, with a few common horses and unicorn, yet no hippocampi. An odd thought considering the place Alec was standing. The stallion dropped his head with a sigh as he continued on with his search.
