Killah is seriously injured and lost. Town is no where to be seen and the sun is sinking fast. While she struggles to continue on, she finds a large home build into the side of the mountain. Maybe someone is home to help.

Run! All the large mare could think about was Run!, but her breath came out in rasps and with each thumping beat of her heart more blood would ooze from her wounds. Deep Gashes lay across her neck, shoulder and front leg in sets of fours… the bear whose claws marked her hide had been in hot pursuit for a long time and even when he'd given up the chase she'd kept going. She wanted to keep breathing and see her girlfriend again but she was filled with fear and adrenaline and couldn't stop her headlong rush, ‘Run. Run’ the word kept on like a never ending chorus in her head till her breath hitched, a hoof caught under the root of a tree and she came crashing down chest first with a startled squeal
In pain and sprawled across the ground in a heap of legs Killiah allowed herself to breath, the haze that had come over her seeped into the ground making a chill run down her body, shivers from cold sweat and warm blood starting as the adrenaline faded, “Where-” she cut herself short as she gazed at the trees, watching a wind blow through them as she lay in the dirt, noting the sun's sinking position on the horizon. These trees were unfamiliar… they weren't of Skeldr town nor any other place she had been… she was Lost and how far from home she had no idea…
Slowly rising on shaky legs she pushed herself to stand, legs splayed for balance like a newborn foal. Lost, bleeding and far from home she didn't know what she was to do… the sun would fade pretty soon… with her ears pulled back against her head she eased herself forward, lifting her wounded leg in an exaggerated fashion to avoid tearing open the wounds more. She couldn't stop a wince from leaving her lips, tears growing in her eyes as she limped between the trees… she needed to find help and soon, who knows how long she'd be out here otherwise
She'd gone a fair way before civilization came into view, a small cabin nestled between the trees… out in the middle of nowhere. At first she wondered who would want to live so far out of the way but then a wave of pain ran through her body and she thought a different thought, ‘God I hope someone's home’, drenched in sweat and caked in both blood and mud she limped her way to the door, placing her forehead against it for stability before banging on it three times with her hoof, the wood almost echoing in the emptiness of the woods

1 | 452The sun had started to sink, a cool chill taking over the summer day's heat. The bright sunset shot colors across the horizon and long shadows across the earth. The land of Onea was slowly turning in for the night, including a certain Hippocampus Medic. A towel hung over his neck as he pushed the door to his large home open, the house build into the side of the mountain. Water dripped from his coat, puddles forming around his hooves with each step. He had just gotten done with his swim; something he did every night to keep his water form's state in shape. Not to mention, the cool water felt good after the heat of the summer day.
He dropped the towel on the ground, shaking out his damp mane as he shuffled through his dark home. With a grumble, he pulled apart the curtains over the windows, squinting as the sunlight poured into his dusty house. The stallion took in a soft breath and turned to give a look around. Papers littered every desk and counter space. Pen lay on the floor from where they had rolled to their final resting spot. Arrows from his crossbow stuck into his walls and ceiling from his last challenging case; he hadnt bothered to pull them down yet.
In all, his home was simply dark and messy.
He didnt mind living like this. It was an organized chaos, as he liked to call it. He knew exactly where everything and anything was and would be able to pinpoint it if he needed to. Cleaning was a waste of time, as he knew it would end up getting just as bad later. Why would he put effort into something that would be messy again the next day?
Slowly exhaling, Gulliver pushed himself away from the window and started shuffling his way to his back room, his back legs locking up with each step as they typically did after a swim. His teeth gritted together, but he moved through it, knowing that was the only way to get his petty legs to work. It was then that he heard frantic knocking at his door. His eyes narrowed as he turned to his door, his ears flicked forward with curiosity. Who could be up here in this hour?
Grumbling to himself, Gulliver made his way to the door, pausing only to peer through the eye hole in the door to see who it was. At his step he saw a mare, but the sight of blood made him scramble to pull the locks on his door and swing open the heavy wood.
"Come in, come in." He said quickly, stepping to the side. "What happened here?"

The large mare let out a slight gasp of surprise at how quickly the door swung inwards, her body swayed slightly at the relief as she was ushered inside. Her ears sagged and she had to keep her legs out to either side to avoid falling but she was glad someone was home; casting her Bicoloured eyes upwards she looked to her savior, a large stallion in his own rights with stark white markings on his underside and… whiskers?... or was it a moustache?... she lifted her head slowly, each muscle screaming at her as they coiled under her wounds. He was a fish! Well more over a Hippocampus but she hadn't seen one in a long time…
Drool began to stream into her mouth as she had the longing urge to lick his fins delicate membranes but she forced herself to swallow hard and think of her current situation… she was only slowly bleeding to death!. With a few shallow breaths through the pain she started to tell him what had transpired, if a little croaky, “I was looking for ore and stumbled upon a bear in the trees… damn thing” she shook her her, teeth grit together at how stupid she had been not noticing it till it was too close, “It got the drop on me… slashed me up pretty good”, her eyebrows bent together in a long frown mixing her pain and frustration at herself together in quite an odd expression
“I'm sorry for this I got lost and… couldn't find the way back to town, you could point me in the right direction and I'll be out of your hair just- could I borrow some of rags or something to cover these?” she pointed to her oozing gashes with her muzzle, “just so I don't bleed to death getting back to town… My girlfriend is waiting, I have to get back to her”, as she spoke he knees shook, almost buckling under from her weight in the exhausted state she was in. She'd get back to Noelle if it was the last thing she did, she'd be okay dropping dead if she could just see her love's face one last time, “It-it would be super… if I could get back sooner.. it's almost dark, if i hurried I could get-” with one last strained effort her legs had enough and fell out from under her causing her to topple to the hardwood floor with a loud crash that caused her to swear loudly, “Ballhooks!!”
