Caspian rolled his eyes as he nibbled at the end of a long stick. He had just finished some bite sized food that let his stomach growling. Lord Caspian was not exactly enjoying himself here, at this party of some noble's lady. He knew that he should have known who he was here for and he didn't exactly hate parties. It was just one of those nights he did not want to be out. He would rather have been at home enjoying his family but he was the head of their house and certain things were expected.
He pulled the toothpick from his mouth with his telekinesis and picked up another. Depositing the used pick in a designated area. He scanned the crowd as he tried to pep talk himself to start mingling. A few horses, male and female alike, had approached him but so far he just had not felt like socializing. There was a lot of beauty around him and he felt a bloom of pride for his herd. Maybe if he thought of these horses like his family, maybe he could start to get friendly. He paused and looked at a horse near him, still chewing on another treat and grinned. That horse looked at him funny, rolled their eyes and trotted away. Ugh. Maybe not.

Sahkmet hadn't been invited out to a Noble party in a long time, she was so excited. It had mostly been private business horses after her company and she couldn't complain, the pay was great. It's where the money went though, towards her outfit for tonight's party. She grinned to herself as her older partner, a stallion who had a greying forelock but large, dark wings that displayed how much pride and power he used to hold. He was simply a noble stallion now whom had divorced his mare and was seeking company from the likes of mares like Sahkmet.
Adorn in gold and deep purple, the small golden mare was a spectacle at the party. She caught the glances of many horses, the jewelry rattled softly with swaying movement she made. Sahkmet was the epitome of grace, the older stallion was proud to display her, calling over his fellow Nobles to ogle her and try to converse with her. However... Under strict rule, she was not to say a word, simply bow her head in greeting to the other Nobles; his way of keeping the escort quiet and in control. Some just had interesting kinks, others were fearful of their dark secrets being found out. Sahkmet could only guess she was both. She rolled her eyes at some poor joke the nobles had made about the lower class. The long gap between the Nobles and the working class was shameful, how could they gorge themselves with feasts and parties much like this one whilst the slaves sweat away maintaining Valore. Though the young mare noticed a stallion who didn't seem to be talking to anyone. She raised her brow ever so slightly, what was he doing by himself? Handsome and visibly wealthy, she bit her lip in thought.
Finally, she took the courage to ask her partner if she could be excused. He nodded and rolled his eyes, bothered by her question and returned to conversing with some other elderly Nobles. Sahkmet took the chance to saunter towards the table that was nearby Caspian. She flicked her thick tail, rattling her bangles. She slowly tilted her head in Caspian's direction, hoping to catch his attention with her eyes peering from beneath her dark lashes. Daring him to approach her.

Caspian blinked as he lifted another tiny morsel and chewed for a time on the stick again. He rolled his head to the side when he noticed a rather stunning mare that seemed to be looking towards him in a rather stirring manner. Unaccustomed to any sort of look from the opposite gender, his first instinct was to look around to see if her date was somewhere behind him but only a few giggling mares stood near enough to garner her look and they were too busy chatting about some silly subject. Blinking a few more times he looked back to the freckled mare. His heart pattered a bit in his deep chest and he felt like a child. Blast it, he was so bad at this but he threw his pride to the wind and shyly began to move towards her.
"Oh..." The toothpick. He stopped and lifted it from his mouth and into the dirty pick bin and shook out his sandy light mane. Okay. Time to shine, he chuckled to himself, feeling a wave of annoyance at his inexperience. But before he knew it he was near the alluring mare and his voice was caught in his throat. Coughing at the shock of not being able to speak he blushed beneath his grey fur.
"Some party huh?"
Nailed it.

She smirked. Victory. Sahkmet waited until he came towards her, flicking her ear in his direction and waiting until the very last moment. Until the stallion was beside her. "Some party huh?" What a charmer... Sahkmet raised her brows and glanced towards Caspian, chuckling softly. "Indeed, some party." Her voice was velvet, rolling off her tongue with a little coo. "It's gotten...A little better now that you've arrived." She flashed him a grin and turned towards him, swishing her tail and tilting her head. Sahkmet noticed his blush, it made her own chest tighten with seeing this noble struggle with his words. Heh. It could only mean one thing, she looked good. Real good. In disguise. Perfect. "I am curious, what is a noble sire doing by himself at such a grandeur party? Is there nothing to peek your interests?" One brow arching with her burning curiosity for his answer.
Play it safe Sahkmet...Don't get too close, not just yet... Her lips were slightly pursed as her eyes traveled over his body, taking in the sight of his well groomed coat. His blond locks were certainly a sight to see too, cascading down his neck with a healthy shine.

Caspian's flesh ripped as the mare spoke. Though he was not... unfamiliar with the opposite gender he was not one who picked up on flirting or any sly overtones of a conversation. Those of his dearest friends picked on him relentlessly for it and had often admitted their relationships started with flirtations but ended in bonds similar to family ties. He smiled at the pretty mare.
"It's gotten...A little better now that you've arrived"
"Oh my dear lady, you jest" Oblivious as always. He scanned over the party goers yet again as she continued to speak.
"Is there nothing to peek your interests?" He looked back to his conversation partner to catch her traveling gaze. He flicked his tail in something like self-consciousness, sending the golden locks at the end too flick the flank opposite of the mare. He smiled and rolled a shoulder, trying to steel his mind. Why was he jittery with this mare? He was a noble and really needed to start taking some tips from his fellow lords on how to be, oh whats the word? Vain, Self-centered, coy. Yeah, that would have to be worked on. Although some of the snob was in his blood, his father had done the majority of the social swooning at these partied. This noble had been left to his own to find a strong sense of self and duty to those who shared his blood. Taking a breath he looked back to her smokey eyes.
" Ah well... I'm not usually a party person. That obvious huh?"
If you can't be sexy, be honest. He smiled genuinely at her, giving her a real Caspian smile and not one of the fake beamers he saved for any courtly gathering. One side seemed to perk up further than the other and his right eye often closed a bit. It was a notable, real, smile.

Sahkmet flicked an ear, shaking her head and brimming with warmth. "I do not jest my love, my words are true~" Her words were laced with lust, she placed one hoof in front of the other with her bangles rustling from her movement.
At the mentioning of him not being a party person... She ginned wide. Sahkmet hummed into her lips clicking her tongue. "Only a little, hehe, but it's sweet. I thought everyone who came to parties were animals, just waiting for the liquor to flow." She glanced over her shoulder at her date, he hadn't really noticed she was gone and talking to another stallion. There was a wave of relief washing over her, "You're refreshing." She added, turning her head back to Caspian, her eyes focusing on his smile. Okay, so perhaps that was....Very very cute. Now that she thought about it, he wasn't bad looking at all. His smile was so... She couldn't find the words. It was a moment of weakness, a smile that made her heart flutter and her cheeks grow warm. It was unprofessional and damning, the heat in her face that was surely leaving a tinted red stain on her cheeks. She wanted to hide beneath her forelock, beneath her veil, something, anything to not give away her feelings. She took a stride forwards, her shoulder brushing against the grey stallion's. She looked up to him with a bashful smile. "Sahkmet."

...."animals, just waiting for the liquor to flow."
With her words, Caspian gave a flicker of a smirk. He was no prude and he had his moments but often times in noble gatherings such as this he didn't bother. His family and his name meant too much to the unicorn stallion. Her next phrase caught him off guard, oblivious as always that she was keen to him until it slapped him in the face like a wet noodle.
"You're refreshing"
A ripple shot up his neck as she brushed up against him.
"Sahkmet"
Catching his stride a little, his smirk bloomed fully and he tilted his head back and looked down at her coyly. Nah, he wasn't flirting. He was terrible at that but he knew the games and she was awfully good looking here, in the soft light of the party and had been the only company he seemed to garner this night. He would not complain one bit.
"Quite a name" He tipped his head back to normal and then down further in a honoring bow. "Lord Caspian Cygnus, but please... Cas will do just fine. I can't say I've seen you around...?" He left that open ended. This stunning mare could be anything at one of these parties and hell, he did not know every family and all the knotted branches that shot forth from the Aodh trunk. That and he cared little, he was just happy to have someone to talk with that wasn't so easily seen through as most of his fellow nobility.

"Why uhm..." She smiled and bit her lip, the respect he showed her could only make her knees weak and buckle. "Thank you, Lord Cas~" He granted her permission to sing his shortened name, it was more than enough respect shown to her. Sahkmet bowed her head in return to the grey stallion, her vibrant eyes gazing from beneath her dark, smokey lashes.
Though her stomach twisted very quickly, the heat and colour drained from her face as he questioned her- Well, not questioned her... But more inquired into her nobility. Sahkmet closed her eyes and exhaled gently, trying to relax and let a wave of calmness sooth her tensing body. Her knees tightened before she finally let them go soft. Sahkmet lifted a hoof, smirking. "I have been abroad- Living elsewhere. My family are not direct nobles- Our house...Is perhaps a little bit more interesting than your usual Noble house." She flashed him a dazzling grin. Sahkmet hummed, tilting her head.
"I hope this knowledge does not dismay you from conversation with me." Her voice was genuine, ringing with worry and concern which was caused by a bout of feeling his judgment. Needing his approval and to be accepted by this Noble .

"Abroad hmmm? Sure sounds interesting"
He liked the sound of that. He had traveled minorly but very very guided and guarded. He fancied that just going on a random trip would be fun although frowned upon. He smirked as she divulged the fact she wasn't exactly nobility. Caspian rolled a shoulder and looked at her with a kind sparkle in his eye as her voice took on a different tone. No longer sly it seemed real. It made him happy to hear. Leaning near her and nudging her with the broad flat of the side of his neck.
"Now why would that deter me? Sahkmet, you've been the most interesting thing i've experience tonight. I wouldn't end that simply because of your social standing"
A humble noble? Yeah he guessed it could be taken as such. He mostly just didn't care, and then again why would a stallion who had been raised without any upheaval of the lower classes really care. He wore the same blindfold all his fellow noble stallions and mares had, he just wore it differently. Instead of holding himself in higher standing, he just ignored the differences. In the end it could be just as dangerous for society but he seemed to make people more happy. He smiled to himself as he watched as a few party goers who had too much stumbled towards them. In a quick few steps he let them collide with the brunt of his chest, protecting his new friend. His stern look seemed to only make them giggle all the more as they righted themselves and went on about their gleeful business. He turned his neck to look at Sahkmet, a childish grin crossed his mouth.
"Sorry about them
