Aragon: The small filly cautiously followed Ryder. The older stallion had offered to take care of her awhile. Aragon jumped at the chance to go with him and leave her father's suffocating shrine of a home. 'Its not like he's even home that much..' she thought to herself as she watched Ryder walk in front of her. She looked back once when she left and thought she could still hear her fathers desperate pleas to Alya. Ari couldn't figure out why he still prayed up to the goddess so much, she never answered his prayers anyways. 'Why not give it a rest already?' she thought bitterly. She then turned he attention back to Ryder. She picked up into a trot till she was back behind his front legs. She looked at all the homes they passed and smiled at Eyrin, a friend she had recently just made. She glanced up at Ryder then looked back to the path. "Ryder, where do you live?" She asked and looked back up at him with curious icy blue eyes.

Ryder | Serora | Medicine Horse
Ryder's ears swiveled around them as they traveled down one of the many paths in the Zuiseset. He occasionally turned his head over his shoulder to glance at the unicorn mare behind him. He had offered to take her under his wing for the time being, though he wasn't exactly sure how long that would be. It was the least he could do for a member of the herd that had taken him in during his time of need, and he knew a thing or two about watching younger horses with his own son being a rather rambunctious one.
The hippocampus looked back at the young mare, who had introduced herself as Aragon, as she trotted forward to catch up to him, falling into pace beside him as they traveled through the desert scrub toward his home. His ears turned in her direction when she spoke up, turning her curious gaze in his direction. Ryder offered a friendly smile, hoping to be more of a guiding figure in the young mare's life rather than a parental figure. After all, she already had a father, and Effie, his wife, would probably agree that they didn't need to be that for her. "My home is not too far from here. My family lives on the northern part of the Zuiseset close to Osulas." He explained, pointing with his muzzle toward a rocky outcropping close to the path that they were traveling on.

Aragon carefully walked past series of horses, easily fitting her small body between them till she was back at Ryder's side. Hearing the older stallion answer her question she looked up to him then over to where he was pointing. She followed what he was looking at and nodded. She trotted along next to him, curious about everything happening around her as she looked around the streets. 'I wonder what Syria's doing now..' She thought, her friend was an ambassador and had been sent to Aodh for a while. 'I miss her..' She thought but shook her head to clear her mind of that thought. "So, you've got a son right?" She asked looking at the sun that was slowly falling from its place among the clouds. "Whats he like?"

Ryder | Serora | Medicine Horse
Ryder walked onward into the scrub where his home sat in the distance. He could see the dark entrance to the cave that he called home from here, and he hoped that the rest of his family was there though Leif did like to go off on his own little adventures during the day and his wife would probably be off patrolling for her job. Well, if they weren't home, they'd probably be back sometime soon at least. His attention was brought back to the present at Aragon's question and nodded in response. "Yes, I do have a son. His name is Leif. He's a pretty adventurous, young colt. Always getting into some sort of trouble and wants to become a warrior like his mother. Hopefully, he's home when we get there, and you can meet him then." Ryder said with a lopsided grin.
It wasn't long before they finally reached the entrance to Ryder's home. The stallion walked into the cave first, lighting a few candles to light some of the darker corners of the cavern. It was a humble abode if anything else. Herbs hung from the walls on one side of the cave where it was evident that Ryder did most of his work as a medicine horse. Plush cushions of different colors sat near the center of the cave, serving as a living room of sorts, around a rug, and there were a few shelves of books along another wall. The cave went further on, opening up into different rooms that were blocked off by curtains that served as doors. Ryder turned back to Aragon when the candles had been lit and motioned around the cave. "Welcome to your home away from home. Make yourself comfortable. We have some water in those vases over there if you're thirsty or anything." Ryder offered kindly, turning his ears when he heard the sound of hooves and claws pattering on the rocky floor coming from one of the back rooms. Leif emerged from his room with his dingo familiar, Bambam, close at his heels. The bright, excited grin that always seemed to be on Leif's face was there now as he came to a stop not far from Aragon. "Hi there! You must be Aragon. I'm Leif and this is Bambam." The black and white colt introduced himself and his familiar who responded back with a small bark of greeting. Leif chuckled, turning his blue eyes back to Aragon. "He says hi and welcome."

The young mare listed to Ryder as he began to speak. A small smiled tugged at her lips as she listened to Ryder describe his child to her. "He sounds adventurous." She said, keeping her small smile.
As they neared the cave Ari looked around, slightly hesitant. She watched as Ryder went first and looked back at the setting sun then followed him inside. Once she was completely inside she looked around at the cave. She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath before letting it out. The humble cave smelled strongly of herbs that made Aragon feel relaxed. Hearing Ryder she forced herself put of her trance like state to pay attention. She smiled "Thanks for taking me in Ryder." She said. As she heard Lif and Bambam enter she turned around to look at them. She smiled at the pair. "Nice to meet you Leif, Hello Bambbam." She said smiling at the dingo, she had never been this close to one herself so she was rather curious.

Ryder | Serora | Medicine Horse
Ryder gave Aragon a friendly smile as she walked into the cave that would be her home while she stayed here. He noticed the slight hesitation in her movements. Not that he blamed her of course. He remembered how nervous and frightened he had been when he had first moved to Sedo and settled with his mentor and their nomadic group. It had been awkward not living somewhere that he didn't necessarily associate with 'home'. "No problem, Aragon. I hope you feel at home during your stay." Ryder muttered as Leif and the colt's familiar walked into the room. Leif grinned happily at the sight of the newcomer. "It's nice to meet you too!" She was young, though older than himself, but maybe he'd get a chance to play with her while she was there! It wasn't every day that he got to meet someone else who was young. Bambam wagged his tail in greeting before finding a nice spot in the cave to rest, turning a few circles before laying down and watching the horses from across the room. Ryder grinned at Aragon and Leif introducing themselves, praying that the two of them would get along well. "Well, Aragon, why don't I show you around and show you where you'll be staying?" Ryder offered kindly, tilting his head toward the innermost parts of the cave-home. Word Count: 226
