◇ KILORN ◇ iron Hoof | stallion | he/him
- Kilorn's emotions for the Aodhians, Iscah in particular, were declining ever rapidly three months ago. The stress of the situation threw off his very being, his sole purpose was to protect those who needed it, not to round them up and doom them to grovel and work for another's pleasure. However, Kilorn did, and would always do, what was needed for the people of Sedo. His negativity and some of his worry had dissipated as three months had passed, Iscah had run back home, which was fine by him, and the curious horse Ishmael had shown them an Oasis to save them all. Kilorn was more than happy to protect the little colt he and the others saved, now under the care of the Sultan and Bond-mate. He was fairly fond of little Noatak, and stuck close to the ruling leaders in this new place. He was close by when a hawk brought some foreboding news. Iscah was coming back.. With friends. At the same time he noticed that the mullah, Ishmael, had slinked away and a few others after him.
- That did not alarm him as much as Osprey and Abram only taking councilors with them. He could not leave them unprotected!? What was wrong with Osprey? He must not have anticipated Iscah bringing warriors, protection, but Ki did. He wanted to follow them and make sure nothing would happen to him or the others. As Osprey left it was known he did not want his Iron hooves with him. A few were sent with Adhara, a mare pregnant with a foal for the couple, and the others were to remain here. So for the moment he stayed put, watching over those left behind. He noticed the shaman, who he respected greatly, and a few others he'd seen around. And a few he hadn't.

(Riley, 16, Apprentice, she/her)
Riley had always hated the Aodhians. The way they carried themselves so proudly, talking about their shitstained city like it was a castle built on clouds, overlooking the ugly slavery that was taking place in the very core of every facility in Valore - and now they were starting shit with Serora and Riley was fuming. How dare they set their crusted hooves into Sedo with such an attitude? They should be grateful the Sultan wasn't sending Iron Hooves to go after their scent, or worse, that Riley still had a tiny speck of common sense in her mind and wasn't already storming away to follow Osprey and Abram. Her muscles were twitching and her skin was itching because man, she loved politics and she would also definitely love punching some sense into the Aodhians, but alas, she was 16 and no larger than a pony and Iscah could definitely deck her. Also, Osprey would probably hate her.
And as she was standing in the midst of Serorans, nibbling her lower lip, she noticed a speck of octopus in the corner of her eye. She immediately turned her head because Ishmael (the only horse she's ever seen that had ... well, octopus limbs everywhere) had been on her mind ever since the whole of Serora moved into this mystery oasis that suddenly popped up in the middle of nowhere and Ishmael apparently knew exactly where it had been - not in a good way, though. Riley prided herself in being open to most people, but she was also very judgmental and Ishmael just pulled a lever in her head that said "suspicious" in a big red font. Her gaze followed them for a while, but she squinted her eyes as they slowly slinked away, a few stares here and there to make sure that nobody was watching - but oh, Riley was watching big time. She took a step in the direction when she noticed that a few other horses had noticed the act and followed them and she relaxed her muscles, not knowing the others well but putting trust in them to make sure Ishmael wasn't off pulling some more mysterious shit.
She turned her head again, deep breath heaving her lungs and stretching her ribs. The temptation to go follow Ishmael was huge, but she also kind of wanted to do the same as him just into the other direction and slink off to gaze at whatever Osprey and Abram were doing with the Aodhians. Her teeth started to dig into her lips again, a nervous habit that was slowly forming as life in Serora began to get a little more exciting than what it's been in the sixteen years she's lived here. She wanted to take act, to get engaged in whatever was happening but she was a literal child and if she started preaching about passion, her parents and Aodh and their slavery she'd probably get written off as mentally ill. She finally decided that hesitation had never brought anyone very far in life, so she turned to approximately the direction she had seen Ishmael heading to, put her angry eyebrows on and stomped off - only to run head first into some huge giant standing in her way. She stumbled back, shook her head and frowned at whatever 20-hands-huge stallion was in her path, and regret her actions immediately as she identified him as Kilorn, an Iron Hoof she's seen around and heard about, but never talked to. A hesitant smile formed on her lips as a small "Sorry," slipped past them.

Taeith | Gatherer It had been about three months since Taeith had returned to her herd. The camp in Breim had been destroyed due to an earthquake and since there seemed to be no decision on what to do next, she had returned to her home in Osulas. It was a tragic loss. Not only had they lost some potential to grow more food for the herd, there had been a loss of life as well. After she had come home, to her worried mother who had heard the news, she started to have nightmares of the ground opening up under her and swallowing her into the dark depths. She could still see her fellow herd mates as they struggled to out run the collapsing ground. That much loss of life had been a first for her and she was having difficulty overcoming the shock.
She had little time to try and adjust to this change in her mental state when the herd was told to pack up and move. An oasis had been found that would be able to provide food for the herd for another season, which wasn’t much but what did they have to lose? The person who had found this oasis? A pure white horse with octopus limbs that hung from his mane and tail. Tae had never really gotten a good look at him while the herd moved to this bountiful place, but once everyone settled in she was a little bit in shock. Sure, hippocampi existed in the herd, but she was more used to see fins and not…appendages. Plus, he didn’t look too approachable, so she went about her business.
Well, as much about her business as she could as the herd started to become restless once more. They were getting a visit from the Aodh herd once more, this time probably bringing more bad news. Tae hadn’t agreed with the whole capturing vagabonds news, but she hadn’t been around for it as she was off in Breim territory at the time. It made her skin crawl thinking about it, though. It was a shame the herd had to result to such a drastic agreement just to survive. But, what did they want now? She was curious and wanted to follow the Sultan’s party, but movement caught her eye.
The newcomer mullah was going somewhere. And, Tae noticed she wasn’t the only one who had seen it. A group of horses started after them, but it was the ones who stayed behind watching them leave that Tae was more inclined to approach. The two were off to the side and the young mare, Riley, just bumped into the giant Iron Hoof, Kilorn.
”Pardon me, I couldn’t help but notice…where do you think they are going?” she asked, walking up slowly to the two and glancing back at the retreating group of horses following Ishmael.

◇ KILORN ◇ iron Hoof | stallion | he/him
- Kilorn wandered into thought of what the Aodhians would do. Would Iscah go as far as to wage war? They most likely were not strong enough, but then again, were the Aodhians? They might send their warriors but they are still recovering from the bombing of the Crucible. Plus who would man their slaves if the pompous fools sent away their protection? Surely the slaves would rebel. His thoughts turned to grumblings as he kept an eye out for any danger. He heard some rumblings of thunder but had already heard of some others being sent to deal with that. Again it seemed all he should do was stay put, but he had no intention of doing so, he needed to act. He needed to defend his leader, to make sure Ishmael wasn't leading those who followed into danger. As his choices played out in his head he noticed a small, young feisty looking mare, who reminded him of his mother, just as she ran into him.
- "Sorry"The mare said, with a tight lipped smile. She didn't seem very genuinely sorry but Ki didn't mind too much. "It's alright, but you really should watch your step." He said and nodded her way. "Don't wanna step on a snake or something." He commented to her, mostly offhandedly, he was still deciding on whether to go after Osprey or not. He'd pretty much decided against going after Ishmael, others already were. Another mare, with a similar coloring to his own approached, he'd seen her around once or twice but did not know of her name. "Pardon me, I couldn’t help but notice…where do you think they are going?” She asked, and although he wondered as well he had no idea. "I'm not sure, but I am sure they are off to see where the newcomer is headed. He is quite.. odd isn't he?" He replied looking from Taeith to the retreating group.

IanthePlanter
A few careful flaps of her shimmering wings held her aloft on the rising warm air, enabling her to conserve energy as she circled above the new oasis home. Far from a permanent home, but as good as any, if not better! Ianthe adored the green view and would spend as much timer as she possibly could in the skies. Work had diminished after the discovery of the oasis, meaning that Ianthe had a lot more free time to herself, so much that it could be difficult to fill and made her restless. As many would know, a restless Ianthe usually meant trouble.
She climbed the warm air with powerful strokes of her multicoloured wings, rising higher and higher until her chest burned, and then she allowed herself to tip over, plummeting towards the earth, wings tucked tightly against her sides. If her father ever caught sight of such a stunt she'd be dead, but for the moment she couldn't worry about such trivialities. The wind stung her eyes, driving tears from them, and screamed in her ears that she was alive! Yet the thrill ended far too soon as she was forced to snap her wings open unless she wanted to be rainbow-splatter on the ground.
The pegasus almost went for another climb, eager to have the adrenaline rush back, but instead, her attention was snatched as she caught sight of Riley. She knew Kilorn because he was an Iron Hoof and they were basically celebrities in her mind. She was sure she'd seen Taeith around too, though she couldn't place a name. Oh well! She would soon enough!
With a grin plastered all over her face, Ianthe looped about and hit the ground running, wings doubling as breaks and balance, spread wide on either side. She slowed to a casual canter, bringing a small cloud of dust with her as she pulled up next to Riley. "Hey Riley! " she greeted while trying to sound less out of breath than she was, nudging the other with her wing, and then realising there was something thick in the air, everybody's attention turned to the fish-horse Ishmael.
Ianthe glanced around at the small gathering, before asking cheerily: "Who are we spying on? "

The bones around Jack's neck felt heavy, a burden upon his shoulders that threatened to bring him to his knees. He had never felt this before in the smooth skin of the antlers; they had always been light and a comforting presence around his neck, the sweet smelling hydrangeas calming his ever racing mind and heart. But now, as he stared down at his reflection he could only feel a twist of pain in his stomach as he looked at them. The deal with Aodh had never been one of good conscious to the Seroran's, betraying those they often housed and welcomed to their herd. But if they hadn't struck up that god forsaken deal...well, suffice to say that Jack would have been performing many more burial ceremonies. And now Aodh was back, and demanding retribution for the deal that had been broken so quickly. Jack...Jack didn't know what to feel. He felt love for Iscah in his heart, love for his herd and the horses around him. But he felt anger, sadness....guilt...everything rolled into one blazing storm in Jack's heart and soul. Even now nothing could calm him as he bowed his head and ushered soft prayers, his words stumbled and confusing.
Lifting his head, Jack looked around at the Oasis before them, at the lush green and cool waters that had saved the herd. He saw the other horses near him but did not acknowledge them, too lost in his own mind. He was failing as a Shaman, he knew that. He wondered how long it would be for the Sultan to appoint someone else to this sacred job. Jack felt his legs twitch, his ears burning as he pushed them back. No, he would not think that way. He had surveyed his people dutifully for years and would continue to do so until his last breath. Taking in a deep breath, Jack willed himself to calm down, to control his emotions and let himself not be so worked up. Opening his eyes, he turned as he heard others speaking near him, eyes glancing at them before shifting to what or who they were looking at-
Him. Ishmael. The one who had led them to this Oasis. Folding his ears back, Jack felt his previous meditation go out through the window. He hadn't trusted the pale ghost when he had first made himself known to Serora, did not trust him when he led them through the winding caves. And now, here he was, sneaking off to do Ayla knows what. Jack felt anger bubble in his heart. If he had shown up sooner Serora would have never had to take that damned deal with Aodh, they wouldn't have the lingering fear of war on their minds, if he had-
No, do not blame him, Jack... He was merely a messenger. Taking another deep breath, Jack shook his head. He really needed to get his emotions under wraps...Curiosity still peaked his interest though, as he looked at Ishmael, narrowing his eyes ever so slightly. Turning his gaze back to the gathering group, Jack slowly made his way over, head slightly low as he walked "Ishmael is indeed a very odd creature" Jack mused as Kilorn spoke, his gaze flickering from the taller stallion and back to Ishmael "Only the gods know what he does or hides so deep in those caves".

Kobe was currently headed towards the market in search of food, wishing he could make the decadent meals he enjoyed making for his friends and his most recent 'guest'. Although she certainly meant the world to him currently, he couldn't speak of her to others due to tensions with the Vagabonds. Most others didnt seem to approve of sending them off into slavery for a few morsels to eat, but nonetheless it wasn't worth the risk.
His hooves slowed to a stop when he noticed a small group of horses on the edge of the city, seemingly spying on the newcomer Ishmael. He didn't trust nor distrust the stranger, but if something was happening; he was going to help this time.
He walked over to the group, albeit cautiously since he didnt know them, and stopped in front of them. "Apologies, I know I don't know you all very well, but.. Is everything okay?"

(Riley, 16, Apprentice, she/her)
She still smiled sheepishly at the stallion in front of her, Ishmael and the others nearly forgotten as she prayed in her mind that she wouldn't get shit for accidentally bumping into a goddamn Iron Hoof. She nodded at his words and it kind of reminded her of a dad scolding his daughter, but Riley didn't dare say anything because she was used to her luck screwing her over completely. Before she could even remember where she had been heading, a young buckskin mare approached the two and had obviously also seen Ishmael sneaking off. Riley tried not to show her disappointment because how cool would it have been to sneak after them and get all the credit for finding out that they had been betraying Serora, and shrugged at the question. "No idea either. I really don't like them, the tentacles creep me the fuck out," she mumbled and took a few steps further back to be able to look at them both because apparently, a small group had been forming around them.
Riley's attention shifted immediately though as she catched a glimpse of rainbow feathers somewhere in her field of vision and a grin sneaked onto her lips - finally a face she knew! Ianthe cantered towards them and Riley took a few steps to the side because Ianthe in a full gallop never meant anything good, but she was glad when the pegasi finally slowed down to a stop, thankfully before crashing into anyone. "Hey!", she greeted her cheerfully, and giggled at her question. "I kinda wanna spy on Ishmael because that'd be really cool, but have you heard that Osprey and Abram are all alone with the Aodhians? They didn't take any Iron Hoof with them but I'm pretty sure that Iscah has like, fifty warriors with her," she rambled, both frustration and excitement building up in her voice because Ianthe would definitely be ready to do some spying and sneaking around with her.
Their small gathering obviously caught the attention of a few other horses because both Jack, a shaman Riley had only ever seen around before, and Kobe, a planter who she hadn't really paid much attention to in the past, approached them. "Ishmael like, pretends to be super mysterious and sneaking around and shit but I'm pretty sure all they're doing is being an obnoxious little-", and at that moment Riley remembered that maybe she shouldn't be so vulgar in front of adults, "octopus."

Taeith | Gatherer ’I’m not sure, but I am sure they are off to see where the newcomer is headed. He is quite…odd isn’t he?’
Taeith wasn’t one to judge so quickly, but then again Ishmael did put off an odd vibe. It was totally the tentacles, wasn’t it? She didn’t like the fact that they slithered like snakes through the white horse’s hair, as if they had a mind of their own. She shuddered at the thought of them touching her, not sure if they would be slimey or smooth. Her attention was caught as the sound of flapping came from above and she looked up to see the brightly colored wings of Ianthe. The little mare was coming down from the sky, probably attracted by the small group that was growing bigger by the second. Within moments, the little pegasus was next to Riley, wondering who everyone was looking at. Before Tae could reply, Jack showed up. Wow, she was meeting a lot of her herd for the first time lately.
’Ishmael is indeed a very odd creature. Only the gods know what he does or hides so deep in those caves.’
The paint mare pinned her ears back at the thought of the hippocampus hiding something dangerous. He wouldn’t really, would he? And if he was, what would he be hiding? At least there was a group going after him, maybe they would find out and report to Osprey if the mullah was really a threat to them. Speaking of Osprey, Tae’s original curiosity about the whole meeting with the Aodh herd returned.
”Wait, what?” she asked, hearing Riley’s comment about how their sultan and his bondmate. ”Did he really not take any protectors along?”
Taeith wasn’t close to the sultan or any of those with higher ranks than her, heck, she wasn’t close to anyone now that she thought about it, but that didn’t seem right. The one time she did meet Osprey he did trust her with a huge responsibility, so that had to say something about his character. He put trust in a lowly gatherer like her, and she was grateful for it. But, him not taking any iron hooves or fleet foots with him just seemed…off.

A lot of opinions are going around, each one as valid as the next. Who will tail their Sultan in hopes of ensuring his safety, and who will follow Ishmael, wary of the secret they're hiding? Make your decision and head out- either as one group or two!

IanthePlanter
Ianthe's curled ears flicked left and right as she took in everybody's words, taking a moment to bob her head up and down at Kobe in greeting. As Riley tossed out an explanation for what was going on, Ianthe scoffed loudly and arched her brow, tilting her head in the process. What? Osprey had seriously gone without protection?! That was insane! Everybody knew how eager Aohdians were to cause trouble, so what would keep them from taking advantage of the Sultan and his Bond-Mate? Rainbow feathers ruffled as the pegasus shook her body swiftly, giving a thoughtful 'HRRRRMMM!' while Taeith spoke her thoughts out loud.
"That's ridiculous, " she grumbled. Osprey ought to be backed on both sides by Iron Hooves, show those rich snobs that Serora wouldn't be bullied anymore. And as tempting as it was to go and be that backup, Ianthe's curiosity was entirely consumed by whatever Ishmael could possibly be hiding. Besides, she was tiny and wouldn't be any help at all. She nudged Riley with her wing again, tossing her head in Ishmael's direction.
"I am going to follow fish-face, " she said with a click of her tongue and a grin that stretched her face wide. "You with me? " With or without Riley, Ianthe picked up her tiny hooves and set off in a calm trot, urging anyone who wanted to follow with a grin over her shoulder.

◇ KILORN ◇ iron Hoof | stallion | he/him
- Kilorn was surprised at the number of Seroroans who were flocking to the small group. It seemed there was a disturbance around the oasis, and many were feeling it. Ishmael had always given off an uncomfortable vibe, one that was bone deep for Kilorn. But the news of the threatinging and explosive Aodhians was more unnerving, it made his scars seem to itch as the crowd gathered and the sun warmed them all. His skin shivered, to relieve him of this uncomfortable itching sensation, but it did not fade. Maybe it had to do with his worry over Osprey. He noticed Jack approach, almost sullenly and a bright young mare running in, who apparently knew the vulgar one, Riley he thought he heard. There was so much going on, his words felt minuscule at best, so the tall stallion kept them to himself, and let the others talk away. He was never one for long conversations anyways.
- As Kobe approached and Riley seemed to spout out profanity, which he was tempted to say it was unlday-like, but he doubted she would give a hoot, he found that no one had directly answered Kobe's question if everything was okay. So after a few moments his green eyes landed on Kobe, "I do not think any of us know if everything is okay, but there is mo immediate danger." His words were plain and his face stone-like, not because he didn't care but because he knew he was about to defy orders given to him by Osprey to stay put, but he could not sit idly by while his leader was unprotected. Taeith seemed to agree on this thought as her voice ridiculed at this apparent situation. "No he asked us not to follow. But I think we should, as I highly doubt Iscah would come back unarmed." He announced decisively towards Taeith. As Ianthe trotted away, he nodded her way. "If any of you would like to, I'm going to go the opposite way, to defend our leader if needed, you are welcome to follow." Ki's voice range out, almost authoritative, but that was not his intention, he only wished to be heard well. He partially turned his body towards the way the sultan's group went, but kept his face towards the group so that he could allow the others to choose their path, he would not normally wait but he felt with the opinions flying around and the uncertainty of the whole situation he should wait for potential backup.

(Riley, 16, Apprentice, she/her)
Riley nodded at Taeith to underline her words, her muscles twitching in anticipation. She'd love sneaking around to uncover whatever Ishmael was hiding, but she was itching to meet some Aodhians and teach them a lesson. Both her stubbornness and passion were traits that defined her ultimately, and if she had her mind set on something, she wouldn't give up - and right now, Riley's mind was with Osprey and Abram and Aodh. She looked up at Ianthe, blinking at her friend as she talked and then made her decision; she would follow the octopus. Riley nibbled on her lip as her eyes began to shine again. "You can go spy on Ishmael while I go help with the Aodhians! We can meet afterwards and talk about what we found out!", she said cheerfully and bumped against the pegasi's wings with her shoulders, turning around to look at Kilorn who had apparently chosen the same direction as Riley. She cheered up immediately, because if an Iron Hoof was with her, she'd definitely seem way more serious! Well, it was definitely against the Sultan's orders, and especially Apprentices shouldn't really be tagging along to private politic events, but her whole body shivered and quivered as she imagined debating with Iscah and the other Aodhians how stupid their herd was, how dirty Valore and its slavery was and man! Riley could not keep her excitement in her small, little body.
She turned towards Kilorn with a huge grin, already excited at what they were doing, her mind mulling over what she'd say to Iscah - and oh man, maybe she'd even rise up ranks if Osprey finally noticed how good she was at talking! Riley had been searching for a mentor for a long time, never settling on anything boring like Medic or Fleet Foot - she wanted to be in the council! Talk about things, debate them, influence the other herds. Her heart jumped a beat as she imagined Iscah's face when she realized how talented Seroran teens were, the sun warming her back and reminding her of two years ago when she was traveling Sedo in search for a sign for what her destiny was; all the gods (well, except maybe Ignacio) were standing behind her choices and she'd show the world what she was able to do.

Jack only seemed to be half paying attention to the conversation in front of him (being half deaf didn't help) his eyes scanning the faces that now gathered around each other, talking in quiet tones about who was going to do what. He didn't want to think about the meeting that Osprey and his council were now going to face, did not want to listen to his herd's words. No, right now his attention was directed elsewhere. What was that damned Octopus doing? Had he led the Seroran's to this canyon only to turn traitor in the night? It made Jack clench his jaw, but he once again willed himself to calm down, closing his eyes for a moment and taking a deep breath.
Stepping backwards slightly, he turned to where they had seen the ghost disappear "If Osprey did not bring any Iron hoofs with him than I can only assume that he does not wish for any violence to occur this day. These are dark times indeed for our herd, but it seems the Sultan does not wish to shed blood just yet. The...Aodhian's are another story, but if I know Iscah, she will have orders to try and change our stubborn minds" Letting out a low sigh, Jack solemnly shook his head "But I highly doubt that is going to happen." He finished, the antlers around his neck clunking together as he raised his head, his eyes narrow.
"I myself am going to go follow that pale ghost as well ; if they are working behind our backs light must be shed on the situation. Osprey but far too much trust far too quickly into them..." Jack spoke, turning his head to speak at those around him and nodding at Ianthe. Turning away, he began to slolwy walk "If anyone would like to join Ianthe and I, the help would be appreciated" he finished softly, ears pressed forward.

Taeith | Gatherer Almost as quickly as they convened, the group was now splitting up. Tae listened to each equine voicing who they were going to follow, her ears flickering to whoever was speaking at the time. Ianthe was going to follow the mullah, and so was the pale shaman, Jack. Kilorn and Riley, on the other hoof, were going to follow Osprey, even after the colorful pegasus tried to coax her friend to go with her. Tae chewed on her bottom lip for a moment as she thought to herself.
She was worried about both situations, almost equally. The newcomer could be hiding raiders or deadly creatures and could have lured the herd into a trap. Or, maybe he was just a misunderstood hippocampus and kind of wasn't all there in the head and completely harmless. But, the sultan could probably use a couple more horses as back up in case the Aodhians had anything up their sleeves. She had a gift, but she knew it was weak and she wouldn't be able to do much defending with it. Maybe throw some sand at someone's eyes, but...that was probably it. Heck, her gift couldn't even protect her from the ground opening up under her hooves and...
No, stop it. Tae shook her head, trying to physically clear her mind. Her sultan's life was worth more than keeping an eye on a trouble maker.
"I'll come with you guys," she said, looking to Kilorn and Riley. "The more back-up Osprey has, the less likely the Aodh herd might do something irrational." Taeith walked up to Kilorn's side, ready to follow him, softly whispering a prayer to Alya to keep those going after Ishmael safe. It was the least she could do and Tae hoped the air goddess heard her. She also said a quiet prayer to Kaia, the one who had gifted her, to keep her and the others going to Osprey safe as well. Who knew what they were about to walk up to.

Kobe was torn, to say the least. Part of him wanted to go after Ishmael and make sure they weren't going to cause more trouble than it was worth but... the sultan and his bond mate were mostly unprotected out there. Aodh would be a much bigger enemy than a small group of horses running around like a pack of hooligans. He noticed the others were beginning to split up, going after either group. He decided his efforts would be best spent with the Sultan and the others, hopefully to prevent an all out war with the Aodhians. He nodded at the group "I think I'll come with you guys to make sure Osprey is safe. Who knows what Ishmael is up to but regardless the last thing we need with Aodh right now is war. Things are bad enough." He decided, then started heading in the direction of their leader and his group. He just hoped things didn't get too messy.

IanthePlanter
Ianthe nodded vigorously at Riley's word, acknowledging the quickly formed plan which would see them meeting later and sharing stories. It suited her perfectly! This way it felt like she had a hoof in both situations, keeping her on top of all the newest gossip. As the shaman spoke up, Ianthe paused to listen in, long neck twisted back and curled ears perked with attention. She assumed he would be joining the others in spying on the Aodhians to ensure the Sultan's safety, so when he announced that he'd be joining her, excitement surged through her.
With an excited grin, she turned to face them all as the rest of the small gathering made their choices. To be perfectly honest she was happy to share her stalking-and-spying-adventure with just Jack... oh yeah, and the other group of horses that had snuck after the pale mullah. Her colourful wings extended briefly as she attempted to shake the excitement from her body.
"You guys take care, ya hear? And kick some butt if ya've got to! " she called to the others, and then waited somewhat patiently for Jack to catch up. Once the shaman was close enough she dropped her voice to a near whisper. "What do ya think he's hiding? Monsters? I bet he could be hiding monsters... "

Your group has split into two to either check out what Ishmael is hiding in that dark cave or to make sure the Aodhian visitors don't try to cause harm to your Sultan. Try to go undetected when listening to Osprey and the Aodhians in the pavilion and pay attention to how Jemin, Ryder, and the others are sneaking around!
Corresponding characters may join plot 301: Debt (Osprey's) and 303: Dark Secret (Ishmael's)
