Nimerah
WF | Medic
Nimerah carefully gazed down the ledge, onto the misty tree tops below. It didn't frighten her. It amazed her. The view was beautiful, and it only reminded her how much she had missed the mountains. Growing up among them, she had took them for granted, only to miss them later and admire them from a distance as she'd live on the flat lands of the farms. Now though, the mare was back. And it was if these stoic and bold mountains gave her courage!
Her cloven hooves sounded loudly on the barren stone path, with and echo following every step. Although her determination, eagerness and courage, Nimerah had to pull up her map more often then she liked to admit. Although, it had many years ago that lived in Skeldr, not to mention she never really left the town itself at that age. She really didn't know the surrounding nature and roads as well as she had hoped.
Again she reached a split in the road. The ledge ran out towards a path that led into a wide grassy mountainside, whilst the other road stayed along the mountain ridge, not seeming to lead anywhere either. The sooty mare sighed. "Oh man, how could I get lost in my own home?" She muttered while pulling out her map once more. She rotated it a couple times, and tried to compare, her thick brows furrowing in confusion. "These roads aren't even on the map!" she exclaimed in frustration. "If I wasn't on a freaking mountain, I'd say I'm not even in Onea anymore..." Her annoyed mumbling was stilled as she heard a familiair sound in the distance. Her ears perked up at tried to locate the sound.
It came from the grass valley, that was now obscured by a cloud passing through. Nim squinted her eyes to try and look through, still hearing the faint noises in the distance. There!
The small white, misty cloud made way for the green grass mountain top valley, revealing a small herd of apana's in the distance. Their soft hums a bleeds being a familiair sound to the buckskin mare. Soon her eyes landed on a figure, calmly following the group, accompanied by a dog it seemed. A smile crossed the young mares lips, as she quickly put her map away, and started on the road down to the green meadow. Her legs carried her in a easy trot to reach the unicorn herder. There was still hope into reaching Skeldr town before nightfall today!
"Excuse me!" She called, hre voice probably carrying further than necessary. As she came closer to the paint herder, she noticed with a start that it was just a colt, hardly any bigger then the animals he shepherded. Nimerah slowed her gait and put up a friendly smile at the, quitte fluffy, stranger. "Hi! Sorry to bother you, but... could you possibly help me?"
