Elliot || 284 words
Perhaps it was time for Elliot to become religious, that, maayybe, for this once the Stars would be of any use to him! But then again, what if the Stars are real? and not just some all mighty crap that old ponies teach their kids? It would be better not to upset them...
"unf" Elliot shrug "but the all mighty don't need money to live a shitty life like us peasants!" he mumbled, or perhaps loud enough to make his point seem valid in an argument with himself. "shut up, Elliot! what do you know?" he rebuked himself. It was either the cold or the long wait, but an argument about religion and money seemed the best way to pass the time, even if still all by himself.
The coming of Winter was always an awful time of the year! The colors of Autumn are beautiful and the snow of Winter is gracious, but what good does beauty do? "squat!", he continued his argument. The time predators look for the most food they can store to pass the Winter, therefore, the time of the year more Apanas go missing. Without enough money to pay a Raider and far less a Valkyrie, Elliot resorted to his parent's contacts for someone...anyone able to aid him on the hunt for the pesky predators.
So there he was, by the War Lord Road, waiting for the scout his little money could pay for. A merchant friend of his managed to find a scout willing to help, but Elliot couldn't remember the name he was told, only a vague description of said scout. It was cold, with the first snow trying hard to cover the grass of the FarmLands.

Alvane Post 1 Word Count: 273 This morning had been an odd one for sure. An old acquaintance had came knocking at her door, even worse on her day of rest. And answering the door at first, was out of the question. That was until the knocking wouldn’t stop. With heavy hooves Alvane stepped down the stairs and unlocked the door, and before Alvane could even see who it was, they had come barging in. Of course the first thought in her head was to attack but quickly realised who it was. An old merchant “buddy” of hers who she owed a favour to. No surprise there. In fact Alvane had been avoiding him. But it wasn’t like she could say no. The mare quickly got ready and went onward down Warlords Road, though not typically happy that she had to work on such day.
The chocolate coated mare paced herself down the snow covered mountain slopes. She kept her head low and her eyes to the ground, still sorta sleepy. Though soon she found herself nearing the farmland area. Her blue hair hiding half her face as she looked up to have her eyes met with a dull coated stallion standing down the path a little more “Is this who i’m supposed to be meeting with? Definitely wasn’t expecting someone as young as him for sure” She quickly question herself. Though still walking forward, wondering if he had seen her yet.
“Maybe it's not and he’s just lost” She gave her tail a little swish and blew out some air. If he hadn’t seen her before, he would have heard her now.
