VERITY EVERCLEAR  I DON'T DO DRUGS, I AM DRUGS. The city of Valore was vast, and with a city this size, there are many things a horse can do. Today was a chilly day due to the weather; this time of year being winter. Wind of the sea began sweep up the craggy rocks of the beaches below the city and blow through Verity's long, red mane and she expelled a puff of moist air from her fuzzy nostrils. Tendrils of her tail curled about her legs and hooves as she trotted down the Gilded Bridge, glittering green eyes watched with awe as she watched the horses perform. Some danced and some performed dangerous tricks, and occasionally she would stop to observe a performer with the most talented act.
With a sigh her hooves clicked loudly against the hard pavement and she dipped her arched neck to take a look at what the merchants could offer. She was interested in adorning herself with a decorative halter and perhaps a few other things. Now that she had graduated her schooling and held a stable position within the unstable hierarchy of Valore, she was beginning to earn a decent for a commoner. It seemed that she was the only veterinarian in town, and that helped drive business up. A smile peeled across her muzzle.
Taking a look over her shoulder at the two horses at her flank, Liri and Iris, and she beamed at the young mares; simply happy that she was beginning to make new friends, especially talented ones such as themselves. "So, ladies; where you born and raised in Valore?" Starting off some conversation, she wanted to get to know the two of them. Keeping her eyes peeled for other horses of interest, she swept her mane up over her back. [292] - come join us! |

Valentine
Valentine sighed as another customer walked away with their newest purchase, the day had been going slowly due to the chilly weather so he hasn't sold much today. He looked around the bridge and saw several performers dancing and doing daring tricks, but his eyes continued to scan the crowd when he saw two very familiar forms. It was Liri and Iris along with a third mare whom he wasn’t familiar with. Valentine smiled excitedly at the sight of Liri, having grown quite fond of the mare, perhaps too fond. Throwing the closed sign over his cart along with a sheet to cover it, he walked over to the ladies and smiled flirtatiously. "Hello ladies... it’s nice seeing you two again, especially you Liri." he greeted them and smiled sweetly at Liri. |

Honesty free of deceit and untruthfulness "Yes, I was." I said to Verity, answering her question. Though, not raised entirely by my own flesh and blood. I glanced ahead of us, noticing there was a very familiar face farther up the street. I grinned, walking ahead of Verity, who had been leading us.
"Hello ladies... it’s nice seeing you two again, especially you Liri." Valentine said, turning to smile at me. It looked like he was just closing up shop, his sign and cart covered up with a tarp.
"Fancy seeing you here Valentine." I said, giving him a sly smile, "I mean, it almost seems as if you were waiting for me to show up."

Iris couldn’t help but feel giddy; it had been a long time since she’d been around anyone outside the pearl. She was somewhat lost in her own thoughts when verity asked the question, “oh yes,” she said, a bit embarrassed for having escaped to her own thoughts. “I was born and raised here, but I’ve lived all over the city. I had a bit of a nomadic phase.” She smiled sweetly, the small talk felt like a nice change of pace. It was then that she spotted Valentine. “So this is where your shop is,” she said before inspecting his closed stall a little. It seemed he knew Liri pretty well. “Verity, have you happened to have met Valentine as well?” |

Lifting her head over her flaxen shoulders as Liri pushed ahead, curled ears swiveled forwards to a point a top of her head as her muzzle twitched. Expelling a short puff of hot, wet air from her nostrils, a smile appeared across her lips. As an unfamiliar stallion greeted the two other mares, she found herself without acquaintance and those ears of her flipped back in protest as she was dismissed by him. Flicking her red tail side to side against her hips, her hooves clacked to a stop on the boardwalk.
"I'm afraid not," she said as her head tilted to the side, her red mane slipping off her shoulders. "Verity, nice to meet you." Pursing her lips, she twitched with some mild excitement, a string of electricity running up her legs. Stepping to the side so that she could stand next to Iris, she pawed at the cobblestone below them and whinnied at the stallion. Now moving to his side, she teasingly whipped her tail across his neck, the smile never leaving her face. "But I'm sure any friend of Liri and Iris's is a friend of mine." Walking a steady pace onward, she mused at the other horses passing by. "I think I'd like to leave this busy place, what about you ladies and stud?"

“Maybe I was, because I knew you wouldn’t be able to stay away from me for long love. So you were bound to show up sometime.” Valentine said to Liri walking closer to her. Valentine turned to the unfamiliar mare when Iris mentioned her, “I’m Valentine, it’s very nice to meet another lovely mare.” He introduced himself bowing his head to her. Valentine looked around the area “ That sounds good to me what about you two ladies?” he asked moving closer to Liri.
