Everything in Breim used to be peaceful, quiet, content. There was no fear of fire here, no need to run and hide… not until THEY showed up. While it is still unclear what or who started the chaos, blame seems to be an easy thing to throw around. Aodh has always been a source of fear for the herd beneath the plains, but are you really ready to break an alliance that has only just been formed?

Casius | Priest
His head was buzzing, Casius had no clue what was going on, everything was moving too fast. "Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear." Casius panicked, what did he need to do. Sebastian. His dear silvery cat was still in his shrine, his mother too! Oh my, they were going to be so confused. Ringing. There was still a lot of ringing in his ears, but it was clearing. The ringing was subsiding, but the screams of terror were replacing them. Nothing like this had ever happened in Breim before. Not since the war of their ancestors. Foreigners. This happened because they came. No. Casius refused to jump to such conclusions. Casius ducked as he heard screeching from high above. Oh right, the dragons they had brought. How were dragons going to survive in a place underground. Nothing good was going to come of this.
Casius stood up, he felt weak. The blast had sent rocks showering over him, bruising the delicate priest. The temple. Oh how he hoped his temple was okay and Sebastian. The cat must be fretting. Casius took a deep breath. He needed to remain calm for everyone else, that was his job. He looked about and saw a few panicked eyes darting about, just as confused as he was. He saw the familiar face of Cephas, a fellow priest. He limped over to help the stallion. "Are you okay, does anything hurt? What happened?" he asked the light priest. He ducked again as more screeching came from above, along with a bought of fire. Oh dear.

Raja | Royal Family
Eye's shut tight, shoulders tense as the dark stallion braced himself against the explosion that rocked the cavern. It was the smoke he smelled first, a dank and musty smell that clung to his lungs and made him choke. A huff cleared his breath but as blue eye's opened smog began to thicken the air. Raja felt the rush of wind as the first dragon swept over him, tiny claws nearly missing his back, followed by another and then another. He watched as they moved, screeching across the sky; mouths lit with sparks and teeth. It took only moments for another blaze to spring up on a nearby house, the faint outline of an raging dragon submerged in the flames.
Dragons. Vile, filthy vermin. How could Hajime let such beasts within the city's walls? Had he not checked? Spoken with the COLT that he had invited to their sacred city? Surely, Aodh of all people would not know the proper customs to bring to Breim. It had been a thousand years since the two herds had met; since Aodh had tried to destroy all the Argus created.
Raja let out a snort of disgust as he watched the dragons set blaze after blaze. No, this would not do.
Soft words drew the Royal's attention away from the chaos, blue eye's settling on two priests who seemed obviously shaken by the blast. A frown crossed his muzzle as he watched these two equine of the gods cower in fear. Standing idoly by as Aodh destroyed their home was no longer an option. If King Hajime could not see the truth by now, there was no hope for Breim.

Cephas | Priest
Cephas’ vision had not entirely returned as he was thrust aside by several terrified forms, the screams of the crowd muffled by the overwhelming ringing in his ears. He tripped slightly as a wave of dizziness surged over him, he must have been closer to the blast than he first thought. Focus. Focus now. Cephas shook his head, tousling his formerly arranged mane into a wild mess over his face. He must have looked half mad at this point, but he needed to concentrate. A stinging sensation above his eye told him he’d been scratched, minimally, but hurt nonetheless. A falling rock seemed most believable, but being injured by the claws of a startled dragon weren’t entirely unrealistic right now either. Just the sight of the city alone made Cephas feel sick to his stomach. Homes and businesses were set ablaze and a sulfuric aroma burned his lungs. Breimians and Aodhians alike tore through the streets in terror, blindly toppling carts and stands in their panic. The dragons Aodh had brought swept across the ceiling, shrieking and clawing as they dived towards buildings and horses alike. Cephas pinned his ears in dismay, he had never before seen Nariah in such a severe state of distress. Had it not been for the sound of deliberate hoofbeats and the uncertain words beside him, Cephas may not have even known he was being spoken too. Yet he couldn’t have been more relieved to see a recognizable face beside him. The two priests watched over shrines not far from one another and Cephas saw Casius often, but the stallion’s currently disheveled state was entirely new to him. “A little bruised here and there, but none the worse for wear,” Cephas assured. “There was no doubt an explosion, but I can’t seem to make sense of the rest of this. Have you talked to anyone else?”

Evalynn | Aodh | Blacksmith
Ignacio above! Not another bomb!
The explosion rocked the underground city, and thoughts of the city collapsing around their ears flitted through Evalynn's mind before she shook her head. The explosion sent up a tidal wave of dust, smoke, and debris, and sent the horses gathered scattering around in panic. The dragons that Aodh had brought as a gift were now terrified, and most, if not all of them were flying around in a panic, setting bits of the city on fire in their wake.
A passing horse- she didn't see if they were from Aodh or not, ran past Evalynn in a blind panic, and clipped Evalynn in the shoulder, knocking her off her hooves. The flower crown that the mare she had been watching earlier stayed lodged on her ears, but as she scrambled to stand up, another horse stomped on her mane, as they passed, pulling Evalynn back down again. Evalynn rolled off her side, and pulled her legs underneath her, standing up with a pained grunt. She'd be lucky if her side wasn't bruised from being knocked over.
Not far from her, she saw that there were three horses, from Briem as she didn't recognize them. Making her way over to them quickly, she scanned them quickly, trying to see if any of them were injured from the blast, or the resulting panic.
"Are any of you hurt? Are you okay?" the Blacksmith's blue eyes were clouded with worry, as well as concern about the bomb. Aodh had come to make peace, and forge a treaty with Briem. Why would anyone try and bomb the cavern where the two herds were congregated? Images of the vagabond mare who had set off the bomb months ago in Aodh flashed in her mind. There was no way it could have been her or her group. There was no reason for blowing up Briem? Consequences of this bomb were unknown, and would it tear the two herds even further apart now that this had happened?
Suddenly a dragons' screech sounded above her, and Evalynn ducked as the small dark form of a dragon dove above her, spitting flames as it frantically beat it's wings. Without thinking, Evalynn snatched the chain that was still around the dragon's neck, and pulled it from the air, it's wing's flapping uselessly to fly away from the mare. Angered screeches came out of the dragons' mouth now instead of flames, and tried dive bombing Evalynn with little success. It landed on her back and tried to yank its' neck out of the collar, jumping and pulling and spitting little sparks in its' frustration.
"Calm down! The explosion is done! You don't need to rampage, you little shit." Evalynn's voice was rough from the smoke, but she was used to it since she worked around fire all the time. Her words however, had no effect on the angry ball of hatred that was attached to the other side of the chain. Oh, how she wished she could talk to animals the way her sister could.

Omari || Artisan || Aodh
Ringing. All he could hear was the continuous high-pitched note. Where was he? What was going on? Everything was a blur of silhouettes, black and white and grey.. And brown... Where was he? He wasn't home, at least he didn't think he was.. Or, maybe he was? How could he not remember? There was a metallic tang on his tongue, a ringing in his ears, and a killer headache to top it all off. Squinting, the roan exhaled slowly, drawing air into his lungs purposefully, rhythmically. Where was he? He was lying on his side, in a large courtyard, with erratic shapes flinging themselves in all directions, even over him. There was a distant, muffled noise, which almost sounded like cheering. Cheering - he'd been in Breim, the reason why he couldn't fathom. Why the hell was he in Breim? How the hell was he in Breim? And why was he lying on the ground? Lifting his head, his vision went black and dizziness washed over him as he dropped again. He exhaled slowly, letting the air spill out as he heaved himself into a sitting position. The shapes became more distinguishable - horses and buildings, marketplace stalls, but not the Aodhian marketplace. It was dark, and yet strangely light, and he couldn't find the sun. His skin crawled and his sides felt clammy. He needed to get up, off the cold stone floor. Dragons. Screaming. Flames. Boom. He pushed himself up unsteadily, initially shaky and a bit battered. His headache was not letting up, unlike his lack of vision, or hearing for that matter. Rubbing his head on his leg, he thought it felt wet, but he couldn't quite tell. He was too busy trying to gain some footing on how he'd gotten into Breim, if that was where he stood. Everyone was screaming or crying or in shock, and there were flame-spitting dragons whirling around adding to the chaos. Who did he come here with? Taking his time to search for familiar faces, he began to take slow steps, getting bumped or pushed aside every now and then. Something was in his eye, so he rubbed his head on his leg again. It was still wet, but he didn't know why. He couldn't find anyone, and so stood silently, swaying in the confusion of the equine mass, blinking ever so slowly. Focus on breathing. The terrified horses rushing past didn't help, and he offered little in return in his current state, despite offering quiet words of aid to those that slowed for long enough.

Albella | Artisan It was all so peaceful. Life seemed nearer to heaven than ever before. Alois at her side, nothing could bother her now. Except. This uneasy feeling deep in her gut. These strange feelings had been occurring more often since receiving her blessing. The cold tingle of dread or the warmth of joy preceded events accordingly. There she blanked out, stopping in her tracks and staring at the floor. Had she gone blind? What was she seeing? A vision of white. Sight returned as the blank whiteness exited to the corners of her world. Albella looked ahead to the grey mare whom she loved more than life. "Alois" As Albella finished the mare's name the world turned white.
The explosion had done no more than knock the wind out of the chimera. Familiar scents filled her lungs back up. Scents of fire and smoke, of fear. Oh Gods no. It was the Crucible all over again. She instinctively looked to the ceiling, afraid it may come crumbling down. Staring at the cave ceiling Albella couldn't help but feeling something was missing. What was it? She had left much of her material items at home. But this ache was like losing one's cherished blanket as a foal. Something was missing. "Alois?"
Albella stood strong against the flow of horses fleeing into the tunnels. Bodies slammed against her's as she strained to find sight of the grey. Nothing. She as gone again. Finally a particularly large horse rammed past the stocky chimera, spinning her around. Her blue and brown eyes fell on a gathering group. Safety in numbers... for now. ------------------------------ Word Count - 267 Albella Total Posts - 2 (one in opening plot, one here)

Tomo | Tie Tomo didn't remember when she had started running, but she was running now, running and crashing into blurred shapes that wailed. Her heart was clasped tight in a grip of fear, her head swimming in instinct and unable to connect back with reason. Suddenly, she hit a body that was too broad to be knocked from her way and she went down, skidding on the stone floor. Her shoulder smoldered in pain once she came to a stop, the skin having scrapped and torn along her fall, but now she just lay on the ground panting with white rimmed eyes. Everything around her spun and tears began to spill over. Finally, somethings where coming back to her.
There had been an explosion, just after the High King and the visitor King had spoken. The crowds had just began to admire (or shun) the gifted dragons when everything became a great blur, the earth trembling beneath hooves. Tomo craned her head to look up as she remembered what had happened, dragons frantically danced above her and flames licked at homes and shops alike. A mare, close where Tomo had fallen, seemed to be trying to tame a dragon and pull it from its panic. Had the dragons done this? The tie had a hard time believing it, something so small could create such destruction. But they were Aodhian, birthed from the land of Ignacio ... did they wrought destruction like their banished God master?
With unfocused eyes, Tomo simply watched, appearing quite dull-witted and scared, the mare tangle with the chained flame-breathed beast.

Raja | Royal Family
With quiet persistence, Raja pushed his way through the masses allowing each movement to flow with the flood of terrified citizens. On each side he could feel the pelts brush past his withers tumbling, stumbling, and floating their way through the stone streets. The earth shook with each hoof-step as they pounded against the narrow paths, chaos turned to rhythmic beats of fear. From above, he could hear the screeches of the vermin as they let loose each ball of fire, followed quickly by small explosions of heat and flame. The royal's fur seethed, not just from the warmth of Ignacio's kin but from the reminder of the vermin that overran Nariah.
It was then that the Royal was stopped in his tracks, his hooves nearly slipping against the cool stone as a large mare pushed past him. She moved in a ferried indirection, twisting and turning as she wrestled with something clamped between her jaws. The accidental assault had left him flustered, moments of surprise turning to irritation as blue eye's searched for the one responsible. It did not take long for his gaze to settle on the Aodhian mare, brows furrowing in disgust at the thought of her touch. But then he saw it, the beast that struggled and slashed at her back: a dragon.
Irritation turned to anger, its subtle notes etching themselves across his face as he watched them struggle together. It was fitting, two vermin ready to take each other out in a fit of 'glory.' Raja could have savored the moment but there were problems to be dealt with. Nariah would not fall in such disgrace, not by the hooves of Aodh. Without hesitation, the dark stallion charged forward and reared against the large mare. She was not his target though, as eyes locked on the reptilian fire breather now tangled in the chain around its neck. A quick bite to the wing was all it took to grab the small dragon before he thrust it against the stone floor, the impact causing the animal to shriek in pain. It wriggled and twitched, trying to slink away with a slow crawl dragging one badly misshapen wing behind it.
"And this will end it."

Evalynn | Aodh | Blacksmith
The painted mare continued to struggle with the shrieking, spitted, and overall probably terrified dragon. Evalynn felt herself bump into a couple horses, and mumbled a quick apology, though sure no one heard her words over the symphony of screams, shrieks, moans of pain or disorientation, and overall sounds of chaos. So caught up in trying to calm this one dragon down, that she didn't realize she had gained an audience of at least two.
"Stop fighting! I know you're not happy, but that's no reason to spit flames at me, you big baby!" Evalynn spat out, exasperated as the dragon's flame scorched a line down her back, it's tiny claws leaving long strokes down her spine as it skittered around.
Suddenly, a dark pelt caught her attention from her peripherals. An unfamiliar horse, obviously a Briem horse, was charging towards her side, and the Blacksmith let go of the dragon's chain, trying to scramble out of the way of the enraged looking horse. His front hooves left the ground, flailing in the air towards her side. One of the stallions hooves clipped her quite hard as he quickly clamped his teeth into the terrified dragons' wing.
Evalynn watched helplessly as the dragon was flung to the ground, a sickening crack filled her ears upon the impact, and the dragon began trying to crawl away, its' eyes wide, and pain filled. The exasperation she was feeling towards the dragon morphed and turned to an indignant anger as she heard the words the stallion uttered. Evalynn whipped her head around, almost wishing to spit flames of her own at this cruel horse in front of her, while positioning herself between the injured- she wished she knew how badly it was hurt- dragon and the pompous stallion.
"How DARE you? That dragon is just as terrified as the horses in here! The dragons' didn't cause this mess! And you just gravely injured the poor thing, and struck me, you.. You cruel, tunnel-loving bastard!" Her eyes narrowed dangerously, her nerves fraying at the edges, fueling her anger. As she spat her words at the stallion, smoke began curling from her nostrils.

Casius | Priest
It had been a very long time since Nariah had been in such a panic. It was truly winding Casius up. Out of nowhere Cas heard a screeching and yelped in pain as tiny claws dug into his body. "Oh Sebastian! Thank the Gods you're okay." he got a terrified 'mrow' from the silver Bengal in response. With one less thing to worry about Casius decided it was time for action. He must stay calm and collected and help anyone he could. "Oh, Cephas, this is Sebastian, my helper at the shrine" he added quickly. "No, you're the first I saw when the dust cleared. But I certainly think we're needed around here." Just as he was mentioning help, a kerfuffle was brewing behind him. As he turned around his brain struggled to process a buff paint mare attempting to bring one of the small yet fearsome screeching dragons to the ground. He raced over to help but was beat to it by what Casius thought to know as a member of the royal family. The dark stallion drove the dragon into the ground and Casius cringed at the sickening thud.
He watched as the mare became enraged and knew that's when he needed to butt in. He let his legs race over to the scene, cringing as the closer they got to the scaled creature the further Sebastian's claws dug into his skin. "Please everyone, be calm. We don't need more injuries on our hooves" he pleaded. An idea popped into his head as he nervously eyed the scaly beast. "I'm not sure how safe it would be, but perhaps we could bring the creature into my temple. Provided it's still standing, it's a quiet place that should dull this ruckus. I have some herbs there that should hopefully soothe the dragon and you too miss, if you would like" I hope. Casius looked around in search of a doctor. He could see so many injured equines, he only wished to help. He racked his brain hard for an idea.

Raja | Royal Family
"I do not care what you think of me." Raja's eyes spat hate at the Aodhian mare, his brow furrowing into a glare as teeth clenched against his tightened jaw. "Nor does it matter what these creature are feeling now. They have endangered the lives of foals, mothers, the elderly. Every horse in Nariah is in panic, homes already lost to the flames. You think this creatures life is worth saving and in Valore such a thing may be considered, but I will not stand idly by while our city BURNS and these THINGS are the cause!"
Heat pulsed through the stallions ears, pinning against his skull as he readied himself for a fight. He had no doubt angered the large mare with his words, even after he had clipped the dragons wings. From the corner of his blue eyes, he could see the creature squirm against the ground, still trying to escape the noise and chaos that surrounded it's broken body. It clawed helplessly at the mares leg, tiny talons grasping at her hock as it spit small sparks of protest shot from its mouth. It would live but fly again, that was questionable.
Suddenly, Casius was between the two, his eye's full of concern and panic as he looked from Raja to the Aodhian. His words were that of resolution, offering safely and healing within his temple. But the Royal had little interest in rest now, his legs itching to move on to the next dragon that flew just out of reach. He watched as another fireball screeched into a building a block away, the fire instantly consuming the soft paper walls that supported it. He could not stand for this. "Your words are kind, Priest Casius, just as any of your standing would be. Your temple and your following have always shown its gentle heart in times of need." Raja turned to face the Priest, pulling his gaze from the newly set blaze.
"Help the injured," he commanded, sight moving to settle on the mare and her vermin. There was no doubt the priest would help this pest but at least they would be out of the way. "I will deal with the rest of the dragons."

Omari || Artisan || Aodh Ears flicking back, the roan knew that standing idly by would do nothing in the eyes of their hosts, and probably serve to anger them more - no, an Aodhian standing by while their world burned and dragons swarmed through their city would not look good at all. Eyes darting from the mesh of frenzied forms, he could hardly make out one horse from the next, and instead his gaze settled on the small somewhat stationary gathering of horses. Of course there were none he recognized, but could easily distinguish the Aodhians from the Breimans. Starting towards them, it was almost instinctual - he'd be safer in a calm, collected group than standing alone among the fleeing horses and swooping dragons. When he reached the group, however, some of them didn't seem quite as calm as he'd expected. There was what looked like had been a small argument, with one horse caught in the middle trying to play the peacekeeper between them, mentioning the healing of a temple. Perhaps he was a Priest? The large paint mare was certainly a fellow Aodhian, but what she was angered by he couldn't tell. That is, until his gaze fell on the broken body of a dragon, it's wing twisted and held limply as it clung to her for safety. Rage boiled up inside him. How could anyone lack that much morality, to the point where they would strike out at a terrified animal, fixed upon the belief that they were the very core of all wrongdoings? "Help the injured, I will deal with the rest of the dragons." Omari's eyes narrowed, and he turned to watch the figure, their eyes chips of ice set in a singed coffee bean pelt. A glimmer of gold caught his eye, and he inhaled sharply. A royal. And after all this, bringing Aodhians out to forge the peace treaty and their offering in return, he scorned it; he scorned them. "And how do you plan to do that, may I ask?"

Tomo | Tie
Tomo's eyes rolled about in her head, gradually regaining focus. The view they eventually locked on to shocked her.
It was a royal, walking towards her and the dragon wrangler she had been watching. He looked mad, elite blood boiling in his veins from a cool rage. His gaze was locked on the entangled dancers, but it was filled with a sort of visual venom.
Before she knew it, something inside Tomo was crumpling, turning cold and sick as the royal ruined the dragons wing. Tears welled up in Tomo's eyes and she squeezed them shut to hide from the horror, wringing out salty drops as she did. The image persisted there on the inside of her eyelids, a slow film complimented with screams and eventuallyrics arguing. Reluctantly peeling her eyes open, Tomo saw another horse joined the debate.
How could they all argue at a time like this? She had to get out of here, they all did...and that poor dragon. It was scary, mean looking, but it didn't deserve this.
She stood, her large stomach swaying and she wobbled to her feet
"Mr. Royal, sir..." she begged, unsure of his title or name. "The little thing doesn't know what it's doing... even if it is scary..." she murmured, staring at the injured reptile with a fearful curiosity. It looked just as terrified as her, clawing at the Aodhian's cannon, pleading for her to save it. Tomo saw herself in the foreign animal and her fear gave way to pity.

Albella | Artisan Albella stumbled closer to the group. The deepening bruise on her chest made forward motion difficult, but nonetheless she kept strong momentum. Something was wrong. Commotion had momentarily erupted between a dark stallion and Evalynn, the cause remained unknown until she drew closer. The flap of leather wings overhead made her duck and in turn, twist her head to watch the frightened creature continue away. She had reached the group, but remained staring behind. Blue and brown eyes scanned the thinning crowd for her grey companion, but they were nowhere in sight. Damn this herd. Damn the very herd she associated with for bringing their troubles in wake. The very customs and laws had kept them apart for so long. The attack on the Crucible had brought them together in the worst of ways and made one a prisoner kept on a leash. Her world was falling apart. What must they think. That the artist from the trouble ridden herd they laid their trust, their love in, had been so ignorant of the growing airs of trouble surrounding them. She feared this new chaos may drive them apart again. She feared if she lost the songbird of a mare here, she may never gaze into those eyes again. “I will deal with the rest of the dragons.”
The chocolate colored stallion’s words brought her attention back to the world. She turned her split-coated body to face him. “You are but one horse. If your means of aid are peaceful, let us help you.” Albella spoke with a sudden air of calm. Her own icy blue and soft brown eyes looking forward into the royal’s very being. “I will not stand idly by while my family faces terror again.” She used the stallion’s own words. She understood anger and confusion. Not but a few months earlier, explosions had changed her life for both worse and better. It was all happening again. __________ Word Count - 320 Post - 3

Casius | PriestTensions were still growing between the Aodhian's and the royal. Raja's words made Casius rather uncomfortable, of course he would go help the injured, but not before he knew of Raja's intentions. A paint mare, clearly from Aodh too, joined their small brooding group. She was clearly in pain and her mobility was being limited. So much pain around him and all his helpful herbs were potentially crushed in his temple. 'Oh Cascade, please tell me what to do. How can I help in these troubled times?' As he silently prayed to Cascade, her most beautiful face flashed through his mind, a gentle smile filled Casius with calm and her kindness were evident in her eyes. The softest words filled his mind, "I bestow thee with the blessing of Healing Regeneration. Use it wisely, my loyal follower." His body was filled with a warm glow. He felt like a newborn colt again, any scratches or bruising seemed to just fade away! A tingling followed in his hooves and he knew something exciting was happening.
Following his instincts, Casius directed his thinking to the area causing the most pain on the paint mare. Her words directed at Raja were blurry in his mind as he concentrated himself on her injuries. A faint green glow surrounded his mind. He could see her skin begin to repair itself, the bruise slowly but surely fading. After some time, he raised his head, sweat dripping off his body to look the mare in the eyes, "How do you feel? I think I may have just been blessed." He was breathing heavily. Would it require this much energy and concentration every time? He was feeling slightly lightheaded but he simply couldn't believe something so exciting may have happened to himself. Perhaps all of his hard work had finally paid off, he was recognised by his patron God. 'Oh Cascade, I knew never to doubt you. Thank you for guiding me on this path that I am to follow. I can finally be of true use to my herd.'
Despite his exhaustion, Casius just had to try help the small dragon too. He knelt down beside the frightened beast and concentrated all his might on the creatures smallest injuries. He knew it could take some time, especially as his new found blessing wasn't even an hour old, but he had to do something to help.

Evalynn | Aodh | Blacksmith
Pure loathing rose in the mares' eyes as this stallion spat at her with more hatred in his voice and eyes than was necessary for the situation. Evalynn knew that look well. This stallion despised her. Not for her outburst towards him. She had seen the look on his face even before she verbally attacked him. No, this was a look he seemed to aim at all of her herd members that crossed his view.
Evalynn's eyes narrowed to slits, and her teeth clicked angrily, shooting furious sparks from her mouth. The dragon now clung to her foreleg, seeking a safe haven from her, when not only moments before it was trying to escape from her. Using her telekinesis, she gently lifted the dragon, and set the thing on her back, while maintaining fierce eye contact with the dark stallion. Try and hurt it again. I dare you.
Other horses now surrounded the pair of angered horses, a few from Briem, a couple from Aodh. A soft spoken stallion piped up, offering to take the dragon back to his temple to care for its' injuries. Evalynn leveled her gaze at the stallion, hoping that he could see that she would find out if he sought to injure the dragon further.
"Fine. Care for the dragon, but be careful. His wings' been badly injured." her gaze swung back to the dark stallion for half a second before one of the Brieman's spoke up. The mare spoke softly as well, and seemed to be in favor of the dragon, in its' injured state. Evalynn figured in another situation, she'd probably like this horse. However, now, at best, she felt neutrality for her, and the stallion offering to heal the dragon, and contempt for the dark stallion.
And then he spoke again.
I will deal with the rest of the dragons.
No. No way in hell.
The stallion who offered to heal the dragon stepped forward, interrupting her thoughts, and a look of concentration came over his face. Evalynn watched as a couple injuries disappeared from Albella not seconds before, and realized the stallion was trying to heal the dragon. Evalynn raised the dragon from her back carefully, placing the now docile dragon on the stallions back. "Take care of him." she passed the dragons' chain to the stallion, her eyes conveying the seriousness of her gesture; that she trusted him.
Swinging her head back to the royal, she snapped at him "You are not 'dealing' with the dragons by yourself. I don't care for your methods, and would rather not have a whole flock of dragons decimated because of your hatred. I'm coming with you." her voice was steely and hard, letting him no there was no way he was going to be parted from her company so long as he was searching for dragons.
