Luciano | Noble Lord
The liver chestnut's sides heaved as he comfortably lay on his bed, covered by exotic furs, entranced in a light slumber, albeit the sound of crows screeching woke him quite easily. Blue eyes lazily opened, shaking his large head in an attempt to grasp consciousness, slightly shifting in place as he subtly stretched; the furs that once blanketed him were now sprawled on the silk spreadsheets that enveloped his bed. The stallion rolled over to the side of his bed, standing on sturdy legs, and exited his bedroom - mindlessly making his way towards Algren's, one of his slaves, room.
Lightly, he tapped on the door, making his presence known to the young colt, "What are you reading there, bud?" Luciano cooed, peering over at the book the roan colt had sprawled open in front of him. The small horse had, admittedly, stolen his heart, what was left of it, when he had found him in the market; skittishly standing in front of grotesquely wealthy nobles and commoners. He hung his head lower, holding a softer, almost paternal, stance, as he neared the colt.

Algren | Aodh | Servile Slave Startled, Algren quickly stood from his fur rug. "My Lord." He said in sync with a curt nod towards the chestnut stallion. The colt hadn't noticed him entering as he was too caught up with the novel on the floor.
"Nothing important, sir. Just some historical construction stories about the Gilded Bridge." Algren replied. The colt knew his 'master' didn't like to be addressed so formally, but it was the one and only thing Algren refused to relinquish. Out of respect, of course. It was trained into him. But he had tried to be more loose with his speech. [Word Count: 99]

Luciano | Noble Lord
A smile tugged at the corners of the chestnut's lips as Algren chirped about the Gilded Bridge, "How about I take you there instead? Experience it firsthand instead of reading about it from a book, though I'm impressed with your maturity considering your young age." Luciano praised the young colt, however a sour taste was left in his mouth as the roan addressed him by "master". Though he mentally shook his head, knowing that it was a habit the colt had developed over the years as he was transferred from owner to owner. "While we're there we can visit the many shops and get you a few new items for you, possibly a nice gilded bridle for you as well." The stallion soothed, standing a few feet away from Algren, curiously tilting his head for an answer. However, it was highly unlikely that he would say otherwise as the young boy was one of few words - which sometimes, inevitably, tugged on his nerves when Luciano attempted to have or start a conversation with him.

Algren | Aodh | Servile Slave Luciano's proposal made the colt look up instantly. The most faintest of smile tugged at the corners of Algren's lips at the idea of seeing the historic structure up close. But he quickly regained control of himself. With a short, but respectful bow he said; "Thank you, sir. It would be a great pleasure."
The Gilded Bridge? Now that Algren thought about it, he'd been on the bridge before, many times actually, but never truly walked all of it. Let alone pay mind to the many shops and vendors on it. Then again, the colt avoided having to go out into the hustle and bustle that was Valore...
At the dark chestnut's second suggestion, Algren tensed a little. Buying him gifts? A gilded bridle? No way! What about the silk sheets he got recently? And that giant painting? And shouldn't he get a regular slave bridle?!
The colt clenched his jaw. He couldn't possibly speak against his master's wishes. If Luciano wanted to buy him a bridle, then all the colt could do was to accept it with the up most gratitude! "That would be...greatly generous of you, sir." Algren said hesitantly, while averting his eyes towards the stallions hoofs. Feeling uncertain if he should have acted more excited, appreciative, perhaps? Did he just sound too cold?!
