IZEL | SPY
Her heart was racing. Her eyes shone brightly against the deep velvet sky, otherwise most of her blended in to the nature around her fairly well. She retained a serious expression, following closely behind Tabitha, wings pressed tightly against her sides. She didn't like walking. Feeling her hooves on the ground was odd, and she didn't feel normal when not in the air. That piled on top of the importance of this mission and slight anxiety of failure could be felt in Izel's belly. She kept alert, head varying from being extended upon her neck and then lowered toward the ground when needed. She used each of her keen senses to stay on top of it all, just trying her hardest to keep her composure, the composure she worked so hard to build and maintain everyday.
Finally, after the distraction had begun, flames had risen and the signal had been given, the three moved in with a new sense of purpose. They reached the settlement, and more than easily made their way through, the guards being too busy dealing with the newfound problem that had nestled in Torrine like a parasite. Eagerly, Izel scanned the environment, taking in each detail and already thinking of a way out in case they needed it. Not that she didn't have faith in Torsten, Tabitha and even herself, she was simply on the edge of paranoid and felt more secure having a way out. For the most part they had gone unnoticed. Until they were spotted. Izel rubbed her alula feathers together over her withers, biting the inside of her cheek. She watched with a calm expression as a group of Talori-dwellers emerged, all standing close together as they approached cautiously.
Seeing their expressions made Izel almost relax a little. They did not look hostile, they looked confused, scared. The three Freedom's Flight members were not to be feared at all, and Izel was almost surprised at their reaction. She could hear them whispering among themselves, and one even shuffled out from the others. Izel instantly recognized him as Sonador, former member of the Flock. She raised her brows a little, but that was the extent of her reaction as Tabitha began to speak. Izel had planned on introducing them, but now that they were here she was glad Tabitha had spoken first. Her mind had gone blank momentarily, and she had almost been lost for words. How silly she would have looked. Instead she stood firmly, listening to Tabitha's every word, every syllable. When she had finished her explanation, Izel nodded once, almost validating what she had said.
The group was silent for a while, obviously shocked. Did they want help? Had they been waiting? Did they see this as their chance or an invasion? Izel tried to read their expressions to answer some of the questions she had, but they all held different ones and so it was hard to decide. It seemed they may have all seen the flock members' arrival differently.
Izel eyed the palomino stallion, who stepped forward, and rather bluntly had replied with, 'You are not welcome here.' Izel was hardly surprised that, that had been his reaction. Some of the Talori herd members viewed this place as home and their ideals as normal, it was not their fault they would refuse help or sanctuary. With a deep breath, the roan mare opened her mouth, "With all due respect sir, we do not intend to step on your land and attempt to steal or corrupt members of your herd to join us. We are not here to flash our propaganda in order to take Talori herd members who may be otherwise happy here. We are simply here to lend a hand to those who do wish to start fresh. I think it is reasonable to grant a choice to those who want it." Her voice was as calm and soothing as a summer breeze, though she spoke confidently, too. She shifted her weight, wings shuffling slightly before falling back into place.

Torsten "Where you recognise evil, speak out against it, and give no truces to your enemies "- Viking proverb.
The recognition of Sonador hit Torsten like a truck, and his face contorted in a mixture of shock and rage. His childhood friend looked back across the expanse with mixed emotions, surely already understanding of the position he was in.
The bleeding emotion quickly found an outlet into anger. Torsten was furious. Furious to see his friend in such a horrible place, furious that Sonador had left the flock in the first place, as if his betrayal was fresh, and furious that he had to deal with him in this high stress situation.
Part of him wanted to leave him there. See what his "loyalty" had earned him. Besides, would Perseus even welcome the silver bay back under his wing? He decided he wouldn't be the one to decide. He was too fueled by emotion, something he constantly chastised his trainees for.
With that, he quickly drew attention to the other inhabitants of the camp, fighting for control of his facial expression again. He vaguely heard Tabitha addressing them as he scanned over a healthy looking cream colored pegasus, a definite plus; next stood a brightly colored pegasus with-were those leg braces? Fantastic. A cripple. Well Perseus will love it he thought so quietly to himself that he dared not even breathe.
A creature was among them that Torsten definitely didn't see surviving the trek home, much less the harsh life of the Flock, and he immediately passed over Tansy.
His eyes had just reached the paint mare when the stallions voice snapped his concentration like a violin string, and he almost laughed. So they wanted to die here? What a shame. The big gold stud would be quite the asset.
He was proud of Izel, had he been the one speaking he would have mucked the whole thing up.

Farsight
Harrower of Talori
So much was happening and everything was moving to quickly for him. Tansy's voice called out to him. " Im not sure Tansy. Three pegasi." He remarked out to her, but they were free from this cage and he felt the green illness of jealousy rise in the back of his throat. Yet Sandor was moving towards them and everything, why did everything have to move so fast? Everything was spinning out of control, and yet he stiffed as one called out to them. Speaking of being free, able to fight for what was right. Heart pace quickened. Yes, this was what he needed his prayers in a way have been answered. They could fight for what was right here in Talori, no more deaths, no more sacrifices. It was too good to be true, but for a moment Farsight hoped, and then it shattered. The voice do Dae was heard speaking out saying they were not welcomed here, and Farsight's ears flickered back. His family wanted to stay how could he deny that, but yet a dark hued female spoke up once more. Farsight seemed to suddenly take a step forwards to hear them all better. A part of him yearning for this Freedom's Flight. They were giving them a choice, a choice to stay or fight for something worth wild. Eyes casted a look to them all, they were really no warriors were they? Dae, and Kali and maybe himself could fight but as for Zenith and Tansy at this time, Farsight didn't know. He wasn't sure, but a part of him wanted this. He shuffled his wings a bit, before taking a small step forwards once more, and quickly turned to nip at Zeniths face again, reassuring her. " I'm not sure what you all are asking, to join your cause? Are you asking us all to fight?" Farsight shook his head a bit. " If you want help, you may want to explain a little bit more." Farsight remarked. Perhaps hoping maybe his family could hear something that would appeal to them, like this all was already appealing to him, but he didnt know could he leave them all behind for his selfishness for wanting to be more than on the streets of a city that never welcomed him? A place he was beaten up for being a pegasi. Eyes looked to his friend and family and whispered to them. " What do you all think?" he asked so softly for their ears alone. Post 6

After Izel addressed the golden stallion, another in the group spoke up.
She meet the gaze of the speckled pegasus. “We are offering you freedom.” Tabitha replied simply. “With revolution, comes fighting - but think of the opportunity presented to you. Do you want to live out the rest of your days within this camp? Unsure of when or if you will ever be outside of these walls again?” Though the Flock offered freedom, it also demanded some sacrifice. If one were to live Talori to join the Freedom’s Flight, one would have to throw away their entire life as a Talorian. If one was truly dedicated to the cause however, giving up their old life would only be a minor inconvenience (something Tabitha had come to learn early on).
She glanced over to Torsten, who had yet to make a word.
“There is not much I can explain to you here, for we have a limited time before the distraction gives out and your guardians find us.” She shifted her wings. “Make your choice, for I am not a patient woman. It is freedom or this jail you now call home.”

Even from a dark night, songs of beauty can be born." - Mary Anne Radmacher
Tansy looked from Farsight and then to Kali who was now giving the shattered mare looks of hurt. What on earth was happening. Words of fire from far off seemed to trickle through the Talorions here in Fortune but why would there be? There was so much water nearby it would be put out. The thought of the cool, lush feeling of water dampening fur made a flicker of Tansy blink back in the aqua eyes. They found the golden beast Daemyn with Kali staying near him. Though their wedding had pushed her to where she was now she still loved to see the two together. Warmth filled the hollow of her chest. Her world for weeks had been nothing but her dark hovel and thoughts of her past. Hiding away from the sun and eating nearly nothing, drinking even less. What the hell.... Her mind boiled. The sharp sound of Daemyn speaking brought her to the surface again. It seemed more solid now, he was speaking to the newcomers who were indeed strangers to all of them but Sonya it seemed. With a shade of her bright innocence she cocked her head to the side and looked at the fellow Vanner. "Sonador?" She murmured in a soft question. Something was hinky and though her mind was too feeble to catch the ends, she knew it was there. Yes, she was gaining ground again. So long as no one sent her swirling again she might have herself, though still dark tempered. But of course something changed, she had missed something as the pretty Pegasus spoke of corruption and a fresh start. Fresh start?[/b] Tansy's mind latched onto those words like a pup to its mother's milk. A fresh start... As the big beast with the delicate mare seemed to glow with anger, Tansy stared intently like a puppy until she heard Farsight voice like a bell in fog. The mention of fighting from him brought shivers to her body. Thoughts of the streets when they had been free and watching Farsight distract would-be attackers flashed before her minds eye. She had nearly thought him dead and only later had they found oit he had made it. The memories were nearly enough to toss her mental balance off yet another cliff she was struggling so hard to maintain it when she heard the other mare speak a phrase that solidified parts of Tansy that she thought would forever be crumbled. "We are offering you freedom." An escape? Tansy had missed the start of the conversation in her fog. It struck home now. Tansy could leave, become something other than sympathizer trash. Would she lose this feeling of grime and disgust? As Farsight asked what they would all do Tansy gingerly found her feet. Her mind still a mess but now the swirl and turmoil had one small beacon. A lighthouse in the distance beckoned the lost one home. As she looked at her friends, pegasi and all her heart broke again. This time in a different way than her loneliness and phobias had caused. Would they stay here? Should she? Tansy couldn't. If she stayed one way or another she would die. Would it be of her body or of her sprit, Tansy would be gone. Looking back to the unknown three she knew she could be gone if she left as well. No fool even in her state but if it was a chance to shed the feeling of their prison would it not be worth the fight she would be signing up for? Sad eyes looked to her friends one more time as she took a few steps towards he trio. The vanner knew she was no great prospect for whatever this Freedom's Flight was but she knew deep down that what was happening in Torrine was vile. She couodnt live with it anymore. Gentle tears shocked her as she tried to show that she could be of use with her thinner but still dense body. They rolled from her water line and darkened the already chocolate fur. If the others stayed, she would lose her family. If they came they might have a chance of having the Tansy they knew back. Making sure she looked at the big stallion who had seemed to judge her at first, heart thumping she spoke as clear and strong as she could. Hoping the effect would be enough. " I will come." Zenith Talori Brewer
One moment, Zenith was pointing out intruders, and the next, the intruders were offering to take them away from their homeland as if they were offering some sort of a gift. It disgusted Zenith. “There is not much I can explain to you here, for we have a limited time before the distraction gives out and your guardians find us. Make your choice, for I am not a patient woman. It is freedom or this jail you now call home.”The large grey pegasi’s voice hung in the air as the copper equine tried to formulate a response. " I will come."Tansy’s voice hit them like a ton of bricks. Just like that? She’d leave with these terrorists who destroyed their homeland, killed so many, and caused so much destruction? Zenith didn’t know what to think, but the anger in their chest was rising above the anxiety that generally threatened to overtake them, and it was just enough for the appaloosa to speak out. “No. You do not get to stroll in here and demand a quick answer without providing any details like that. That’s not how this works. Leaving here could put us in a worse position than we already are. Besides, I will not leave my homeland, or betray my brother’s trust. Torrine is no prison. We are here for our own safety, and will be released once things calm down again after YOUR attack on OUR home.” Zenith snorted, pawing the ground in frustration. “All I see you offer here is to tear our family apart to further your ridiculous violent cause. I am no fighter, and I imagine there is little place for one such as myself amongst your ranks.” The colorful pegasus huffed, flaring their foreign wings slightly for emphasis. “Wherever you go there is chaos, and I will have no part in it unless you can give me a good enough reason to even consider leaving behind those I love and trust.” Their eyes narrowed, gleaming with a rare fire as they stared directly at the impatient mare. Zenith found themself glancing at Dae briefly for reassurance of their decision before turning their gaze to rest on Farsight nervously. He had promised only a few weeks before that he would never leave them, and Zenith found themself wondering if the flighty stallion would make good on his word.

Kalakara | BrewerDrowning. Not in water, but decisions. Kali's breathing was short, and he fought to keep his outward appearance from shattering; the fear that these strangers would find the cracks in his armor and dig their words in overwhelmed him. The scent of fire reached him, filling his mouth and nose with imaginary, choking black smoke. The black over could feel his fangs slide out from his upper jaw instinctively, venom dripping at their tips, ready to poison his enemies. But fighting was not the answer here. Thought was the weapon of choice, as these strangers waltzed into his home and demanded answers. But how could any of them make a decision in a time like this?
Tansy spoke. With what appeared to be nothing more than a second thought, the mare pledged herself to these strangers, turning away from all that had been her home, family, friends. Without so much as an eye-blink, she had given her heart and loyalty to the Freedom's Flight. Kali's blue eyes turned to the mare, in her protective headscarf, and his expression shifted to one of shock and disbelief, rather than struggle and fright. The mare's words, which had reached through the turmoil that was Kali's mind gave a moment of clarity. He knew, not from fear or discomfort, but from his own heart that a decision had to be made. But he was not ready to speak up; how could he choose something that would tear him from one group or the other. The division was too much for the overo's soul. What if he made a decision and Dae chose differently? The thought of splitting up his family was unimaginable. Clearly, Dae would not run off with these strangers, by his earlier actions, but rationality had no place in Kali's mind at the moment. A sudden, clenching fear that the two would be torn apart wrapped itself around his brain, whispering snake-like worries into his ears. What if he went with them? What if they left, and they could not reconcile with the Freedom Flight's leader? They would have lost two homes. The Talori would have them killed if they took this moment to escape, then came slinking back, dogs with their tails between their legs. What if Dae was hurt or killed protecting his home here? What if- what if.
Kali's breath came in shuddering, short huffs. For a moment, he thought he'd gained control of his thoughts, but they were running rampant again, unchecked. Pressing his eyes closed, Kali flattened his ears to his head, attempting to shut out the thoughts. Zenith's words cut through the mess. The chestnut mare was adamant in her need for more information, in her belief that these strangers did not offer panacea. It comforted Kali to know that there were some who were not so ready to jump ship. But it also hurt him to know that the group was being torn apart like prey in a predator's teeth. He could feel the life blood of the group of friends draining into the sand.
It spouted faster as Sonya made his choice, taking his place beside Tansy. That one was a personal blow. While Kali considered Tansy a friend, he had known Sonya longer; in fact, Sonya was probably the first friend Kali had made in the land outside Inaria. It pained him to see Sonya breaking off, returning to his roots. At least he knew what he was getting into; Tansy was moving off of blind faith.
In the following silence, Kali opened his eyes, glancing from one horse to another. Cascade, help me, he begged silently. Although he hadn't always been on the best footing with the goddess - or her devout followers - he needed strength now. The decision weighed heavy on his shoulders, dragging him below imaginary waves. Dragging deep breaths into his chest, Kali forced himself to think. On the one hand, he had suffered here. He could not reveal himself to his friends, his family, lest he risk another imprisonment. The brand on his shoulder was a constant reminder that he was never going to be accepted here. But on the other...he knew nothing about this freedom's flight, or their ways. He did not wish to be an exile from two homes at once. If logic prevailed, Dae would not dash off with these strangers, and Kali would never separate himself from the palomino. Zenith was another voice of reason, demanding more explanation from these mysterious horses. Kali knew part of his mind was egged on by fear...but at least part of his answer came from his heart.
"I have been hurt, outcast, imprisoned here. But I have never once raised a hoof against anyone," he said, his voice shaking. He hated how high, how feminine it sounded to his own ears. "I am here because I chose to speak out against killing. They killed a child. I cannot forgive that. But I will not aid in killing others. I will not become a murderer, regardless of my freedom. I've been imprisoned once, I can survive it again. You and yours don't offer us freedom; you offer bloodshed." Kali paused, his eyes searching Tansy and Sonya, hoping the pair would realize what they were selling out for freedom. Of course, he had never been cursed with his own wings, like Sonya, or Tansy's newfound afflictions, but he felt that the words were no less true. "I am a child of my goddess, and I will not abandon her in this time. I will not abandon my culture, my family. I will not abide to have you come here, attack my home, and tell me you will make my life better. This hurting, this killing, it's not how to bring about change. I cannot endorse this method of change. When you have gone, I can continue affecting change from inside my home. Now, please, gather those who believe that abandonment is right, and take them with you, quickly. I don't want to watch you shed blood in my home."
Kali knew it was cruel, to accuse Tansy and Sonya of abandoning them. But he couldn't stop the words, once they had begun. It was what they were doing; they were leaving to join a band of murderers. Kali would not, could not, condone it. Just as he could not condone the actions of his own herd. But he made his peace with attempting to fix the system from inside; he would not leave behind everything that had made him who he was in a vain grasp at freedom. He would fight where he stood, with words rather than wounds. And he'd be damned if these strangers and their bloody battling succeeded more than he and those who would choose to stay.

Farsight Harrower of Talori
Freedom. That word made his breath catch in his throat, how deeply had he wanted that. Freedom to be who he was, to not have the looks of pity and disgust. To be free and welcomed, to be apart of something more. He was a mere street performer. Not good enough for much more, though he had plans, but with freedom, it opened the cage and allowed him to be much more than what he was now. It was tempting, it was what he had prayed for, for so long he wanted that. But he wanted it in Talori, in his home, where his friends, his family, his life was. That was the difference. He could have left anytime, they all could have left well beyond now. But they all stayed, they remained, because in the end they hoped for something more. What would the Freedom's Flight give them, but more tragedy? If they stayed here show they were faithful, all would be well for them. Ears flickered back, and with a single voice his whole world shattered."I will come." Her voice soft and gentle, but no doubt placed in those words. His heart stood still, his breath lost as his whipped his head and turned to see her. Tansy walking forwards pledging herself to Freedom's Flight. She was moving forwards, and there was no second look, there was no turning back. She was lost at sea, just like the day he found her. Crying at the shores, he saved her he thought to himself, and now... Now he wasn't her hero. Mouth felt dry, he wanted to call out her name, see her face, Why did she not look at him? Was he nothing now? "Tansy." he whispered out. He felt the tears wanting to fall down his face. Each breath was like breathing in glass. It was sharp and painful, and he didn't want to do it anymore. "Tansy." he whispered once more, but still soft as he failed to grasp his voice. He was loosing her, every step she took was another one awya from him. No, they were friends, always had been since young age. He felt the panic rise in his chest. He couldn't say anything, yet others quickly filled that void.
Zenith spoke, and while her voice was like a splash of water to his face, he still could not shake the shock out from him. He looked to Zenith, his face pained and burdened with the decision. She had made hers to stay and that was that. Farsight was going to break and he had to choose which pain he could live with. Which one could he live with? Leaving Tansy, or leaving Zenith? Which one would hurt him less, which would make him regret less? Eyes filled with tears as he turned his head away from them all, lowering it, as his hair covered his face. His teeth gritting down, he wasn't ready. He didnt want this, and yet he was spared but a few moments to decide as another spoke out. This time Sonador. His voice clear and crisp, breathing was soon lost on him as he lifted his head a bit. Desperation clung to his face, like the seafoam to the shores. He watched him, and felt the vile of madness grasp him. How dare he proclaim to be a burden. None of them ever were. They were a family, a family. He felt his nostrils flared, and as he watched Sonador's wing cusp over Tansy and usher her forwards, he wanted to scream, yet nothing came out. He gritted his teeth, staring at their wavering forms. So they wouldn't say a goodbye? Cant bare to look at them? Mean so little they could leave without a moment to spare, not a single farwell?
But he was giving another chance to not make his choice as Kali spoke up and soon, it was decided. Two would go and three would stay. It was Farsight's turn, it was his turn. Head lifted as he looked to his friends and to Zenith. How could he stay? How could he leave? He felt the panic and fear rise in his stomach, could feel it burning his throat. He wanted to vomit, he didnt want this anymore. He didn't want any of this. Eyes searched for Tansy, but he did not see them. "WAIT." he shouted to them. One step forward, the first step was the hardest, yet the others, seemed to follow with out fault, and suddenly he was rushing towards Tansy and Sonador. "Wait please." he almost begged to them. His face pained and hurt, as he dared not to look back, not right now.
"Tansy..." he nickered out to her so softly. His poor broken and shattered friend. A friend he had neglected to visit more often, and how could he blame her for not looking back, for who of them spared a look to her. "Tansy..." he called to her, nipping at her cheek. "I..." he paused for a moment not knowing what to say for sure. "I know... I know I've been terrible, that I took you for granted, for always being there. I know I've done you wrong and I let this happen to you. I should have known Tansy I should have...." he felt himself sniffle, felt the tears wanting to fall from his face. "I know all of that, I can promise to do better, but it won't help now." he looked down ashamed of himself completely. "I know this all, and all of it to late. But Im still your friend Tansy. I love you so much, I love you and I don't know... I don't know how to be without you?" He pleaded and looked to her face. "You were always there for me, and I was there for most of it for you. We've been through it all together. Does that mean so little that you can't even look at me?" Tears fell from his face. "I know this place is bad for you, I know what they did to all of us ain't right, but we all have a choice, and I understand. I understand why you don't want to be here. I understand that you cant stay here. I won't beg you to stay, but it's hard to watch you go Tansy." he looked to her, searching for some sign, some sign he was not this shitty friend he plagued himself to be. "I'm going to miss you so much Tansy." his choice was made. he was going to stay. "Im going to miss our talks, the way we always found each other in a crowd. I didn't think Id have to live without you there with me. I want you to be apart of so much for my life, and I want to be there for yours too.... But that's okay... I'll treasure all our memories, and I honor your choice Tansy. Sometimes we have to be selfish. Sometimes we have to hurt the equine we love, so we can do whats best for ourselves." He smiled lightly, but he felt broken and felt shattered, but tried his best to support his friend. He never faulted in his step to support her, he wouldn't stop now. Eyes turned to the Freedom's Flight. "Im sorry, but this is not my path with you all." he remarked offering a light smile, and dipping his head to them. Eyes looked to Tansy and the three feathers of his in her ear. "I'll miss you Tansy, I hope you find what you need out there." he dipped his head before he took the first step away from them. It was the hardest step he took, yet the rest of the steps followed through like waves to the shore. He moved towards his other family. Smiling to them weakly, as he choose to stay. Eyes looked to Zenith, smiling a bit brighter this time. He made a promise too, he promised to never leave her. Love was worth fighting for, and it was in this moment he knew he loved Zenith fully. He belonged to her, as much as she too him. Farsight took his place next to Zenith, nuzzling her deeply and breathing in her sweet scent. It was a comfort as his body shook, he said what he felt needed. He said his goodbyes, told his friend he loved her and supported her. That what friends do, even if their paths are no longer the same. Farsight hoped his words got to Tansy. He had hoped she too would forgive him for his choice in time. If not now, perhaps later.

IZEL | SPY
The dark roan watched the event unfold, only hoping the two groups could continue conversing like civilized beings, and didn't resort to violence or rash actions that may have been unnecessary. She listened to Tabitha in reply to one of the Pegasi who'd spoken up about fighting. Tabitha's answer was to be expected, but Izel knew instantly that pushing them would not help the cause, and could possibly push them further away from adopting the Flock's point of view. They were after all just scared and confused, being asked to leave their home for something they may not have fully believed in. It was a big ask, though Izel wanted to stress that it wasn't being forced. No one was being forced to do anything. She mentally asked that the others with her understand the words that were being tossed around. She herself couldn't understand the logic of staying voluntarily in a concentration camp, but that was not her business to know. So she kept her mouth shut about that subject explicitly.
Her brows lifted slightly as a paint mare stepped forward and voiced that she would join them. She let a slight smile crack her lips, and she softened her gaze. 'Smart choice, mare.' She said internally. The mare looks sickly, weak, but Izel was positive they could nurse her back to health with a new feeling of liberation and a new start. She would be a valuable asset to the Freedom's Flight, despite not being a Pegasus. Her expression then grew stern as another voiced their opinion, obviously having been pushed over the edge by their friend wanting to leave. As though they had the right to control where they went and when. Izel tilted her head slightly, wanting to scoff, but biting her tongue. 'The Freedom's Flight would have no reason to even be here if an innocent foal hadn't been thrown off a cliff for no reason.' She thought. Luckily she was good at keeping her composure, and only wished these obviously flustered horses were able to as well.
"If the Hippocampi and other species were not afraid of Pegasi, did not detest them, you would not be standing behind these walls in the first place. The reason you do not need to fight is because the authorities do not see you fit or worthy enough to." She laid her eyes over the appaloosa who'd so brashly spoken. "And it is not necessary to fight. If one does not want to shed blood, there are many other ranks and jobs in the Freedom's Flight that can suit almost anyone, regardless of their limitations. I have not killed, but I have still found ways to do my herd a service, and knowing the good I'm doing for horses such as this mare," she looked to the Vanner, and now to Sonador who was joining her, "and now Sonador, it feels liberating."
She stood, more than calmly, listening to the others plead. She understood that they were too scared to leave, and it was obvious that relationships and social ties were part of the reason they would not go. She could understand when they spoke of not leaving their home, and gave valid reasons. But she had to hold back a sigh when they began rambling about how they were a 'Child of their goddess.', and that the Freedom's Flight were nothing but murderers, as though condoning in sacrifice was to be regarded as acceptable.
Finally, a stallion went after Tansy with shaky words. Obviously using everything he had to guilt her back to him. Seemed rather selfish, in Izel's opinion, and she had no idea what ran through these horses' minds. It was sad how brain washed they were. Just as he hoped Tansy had a good life, Izel hoped that one day, those who stayed, would eventually wake up to the real world and make the right choice. Though she would never spit insults, she believed she was above that, which was why she kept most of her cynical thoughts to herself, remaining stoic-faced. She was also against being hypocritical, something these Pegasi didn't seem to mind being at all. Did they not know all forms of authority shed blood? Their own kind had died at the hands of their own herd, did that not matter to them? Izel mentally shook her head, wanting nothing more than to leave with the two new Flight members so she could vent her frustrations in her books.

Talori Guardian
Daemyn watched with mild shock as worn-out Tansy shuffled forward to the three pegasi and there was no way he could comprehend her choice. Something had happened to her while in Torrine, clearly, but what could possibly make her jump into the wings of these terrorists and without offering an explanation to her friends, her small rag-tag family. Where was her loyalty? The usually calm and collected guardian was losing control of his emotions and only deep, shaky breaths held him grounded. As Zenith spoke he found himself nodding along to her words, finding her expressing all of his mumbled thoughts. As she looked to him for reassurance, he gave a nod and the hint of a smile, which shattered as Sonador stepped forward to join his once-companions. The entertainer had been a welcomed face and companion because Kali spoke of him as a friend, and a friend of his wife was a friend of Daemyn. But this betrayal was too much for the guardian to stomach. As the others spoke around him, as Kali echoed what was in his heart and Farsight darted to Tansy for a tearful goodbye, Daemyn's mind churned and his sea foam green eyes were locked on Sonador. The bay had greeted and named the Freedom's Flight and this 'Primary' before the strangers could even speak. Sonador was one of them. This was no recruitment mission, that was simply a cover to reclaim their spy. It hit him with such clarity that there was room for nothing else in the palomino's mind. Sonador had been planted by the Flight and for them to mount this sort of 'rescue', he had valuable information. Information that could prove devastating to Daemyn's home and deadly to family and loved ones. The Guardian squared his shoulders and took one threatening step forward. While he eyed all of the pegasi, his firm, cold voice addressed Sonador directly: "You are one of them. You knew from where they came before they could introduce themselves, and this mare speaks your name? I cannot let you leave. I cannot allow terrorists to reclaim a spy. "
Dark clouds began to form above Torrine, gathering rapidly as Daemyn drew upon his Blessing, summoning a vicious rainstorm which would hinder any pegasus in flight. It wouldn't make flight impossible, but he had seen how difficult it was to fly with soaked feathers, and at the moment he did not plan on letting anyone leave. Gentle drops began to fall and as the moisture filled the air, Damyn gathered four large globs of floating water by his sides, eyes narrowing.

Torsten "Where you recognise evil, speak out against it, and give no truces to your enemies "- Viking proverb.
“Make your choice, for I am not a patient woman. It is freedom or this jail you now call home.”Tabitha had only voiced what he himself had been thinking all along. This should have been a yes or no discussion, they should have been on their way by now. He visibly reacted when it was the least likely candidate that stepped forward first. No no no not the weakling. To her credit, she was strong willed, to join them despite everything, so he decided not to remark on the matter. If she survived, she could surely be an asset, but he shot Tabitha a doubtful glance.
"...We are here for our own safety, and will be released once things calm down again after YOUR attack on OUR home.” The cripple was talking now, of course, and he practically leered at her naïvety "If you actually believe they'll release you, you're all fools." He snorted, once she had finished. The Talori were scared, and they wanted someone to blame. Releasing them would mean the Talori would then take responsibility, something they were terrible at. "It's time I faced the Primary's judgement."His friend flanked the frail mare who had stepped forward first, and Torsten knew that whatever punishment Perseus had for Sonador, he would brave respectfully, and then all would be as it should be. Izel calmly reiterated his point to the group, and that not everyone was recruited to kill. He wanted to remind them that the flock had only attempted, not succeeded. The Talori were generations of murderers. What he didn't expect was the crowd favorite to cry out and run to the mare, begging her to stay. Something in his heart lurched before his brain quickly translated the little scene as cowardly, as the stallion even began to weep. What a disappointment. He was so absorbed that he hardly realized Big Guy had started talking. "...I cannot let you leave. I cannot allow terrorists to reclaim a spy. "
So macho. So guardian, he realized, stepping forward without realizing it at first. "Do tell, how is it a fit, able common horse like yourself ends up in a pit like this? Surely someone so loyal could never do something so terrible as to end up here, right? May I remind you that your Divine still breathes, your Empress as well. It would only be retribution to see them both plummet. You shout betrayal and standing up for what is right, but if you stand with Talori, you may as well be drawing the scythe yourselves."
He didn't realize he had been looking for a fight until this moment. When a storm gathered quite conveniently, he glared at Big Guy and stretched his wings, the rain repelling down the featherless hide. "He's coming with us."

Even from a dark night, songs of beauty can be born." - Mary Anne Radmacher
Foggy as ever, Tansy's heart had a child like understanding of why Zenith would stay. She was family and yet they had still thrown her out. With her wings now? Well that would be interesting and it hurt the Vanner she would not be there to support their friend. Tears rolled more heavily as Zen spoke. Just as she had been ready to explain herself to them Sonya was joining her. That made it easier as she looked over her friends, struggling in their decisions. She thanked Sonya and leaned against him as her tears still flowed freely. It all seemed pretty easy until Kali spoke. They spoke of murder, they spoke of bloodshed and finally the accusation of abandonedment made something fall from Tansy that she had not usually felt, anger. Words bubbled from the Vanner in desperation for her friends to understand why she HAD to leave. "Abandonedment? Abandonedment? What exactly do you think Talori's finest have done to us here? Of all of us I have felt that the most. Kalakara do you not realize I had the intention to never leave my pathetic cottage here, breathing atleast? I was the one abandoned. Do you not realize what you have done, you all were no better than my adopted par-"Tansy was cut off from her rant by Farsight. Her dear dear Farsight. She froze mid word when he called out. Gingerly at first and then like a wave he was with her. When Zenith had voiced her objection to just leaving she knew she would lose him and in his eyes she had that high solidified. He was going to stay. Her body began to quiver as he nipped her cheek. As he tried to confess his wrong doing she shook her head, of all of them Farsight couod do no wrong to her. Even if it had been wrong, she loved him and would forever. They were each other's in ways their friends could not understand eve if someone else had his heart and soul. Jamming her head under Farsight own she whispered to him softly. "I see you now Farsight I do. I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry...." her apologies trailed off gently as she sobbed into him. "I love you Farsight. I always have." As he called out his decision to the Freedoms Flight she nuzzled him again as he spoke his final words to her. Inside she just knew this would not be the last. In a gentle whisper only meant for him. "We will find a way Farsight. I promise. I can't live without you, but I can't live here. I will see you again." the broken mare managed a smile as gingerly Farsight started too his mate. Usually she would feel jealously towards Zenith for this but for once she was happy. That all came to a halt as Daemyn decided to step in. Still unable to follow everything before her she looked at Sonya and back to the big stallion who was rippling off hate and anger. The happiness that had flickered for a moment was replaced with fear. He would not let them go? As water began to fell her eyes grew wild. The aquaphil mare shuddered as Dae prepared to do something. Sharp ticks against her flesh felt almost painful. The Freedoms Flight stallion outstretched his wings, preparing himself. Her mind wanted to flee, but her heart was running the how. She took a stand between the two before she knew what she was doing. Water blue eyes pinned on Dae. " Stop this foolishness." her voice was too soft, she repeated herself much more loudly. Her voice ripping along its cords with the emotion she felt. Seeking out any last frail connection she had to this family she spoke to Dae. "Daemyn. You fight here and now, you're no worse than what you accuse them of being. Just let us go, don't cause a fuss for your new wife to stress about. Let me be the selfish one now, let it go" She knew she was cutting a pathetic form as she tried to reason with the emotional group. This needed to happen. They needed to go and the thought of following these strangers without Sonya would certainly buckle her will. She would give in and stay. She would die here. Post : 6 Word Count : 719

This had really become a mess.
To someone who wasn’t Tabitha, it was clear to see that these individuals were just scared and confused. After all, three random strangers just barged into their makeshift home and But Tabitha was Tabitha, and thus incapable of seeing from that point of view. Idiots was the only word Tabitha could seem to conjure up in her mind. Far too quickly she found her anger boiling, threatening to bubble over. Why did these fools insist on dragging this out? The arguing among them made her head hurt. This situation was beginning to get out of hand - as she had feared it would - and she was certain that the golden stallion would try something. The man was nearly shaking with anger.
Tabitha was thankful that at least two of these idiots had decided to come. At least she knew they would not return to Perseus empty handed. She was certain that Perseus would have some form of punishment for Sondar upon his return to the Flock, but whatever it may be, having an old ally would still be a great deal of help.
“We are no terrorists, we are simply bringing long overdue justice to Talori.” She flattened her ears against her skull. “These two have made the choice to come, as you have made your own choice to remain here in Torrine. You have no right to stop them from leaving.”
She looked to Sonador and the paint mare.

IZEL | SPY
The small mare saw the Palomino's expression change as he realized Sonador had been apart of Freedom's flight before. At his words she narrowed her eyes. Their mission wasn't to reclaim their spy, it had been a coincidence that Sonador had been present at this moment. If he hadn't, there was a chance he wouldn't have been travelling home with them at the end of the day. Though by the threatening look of the leader of the group opposite them, it looked as though there was a chance Sonya wouldn't be leaving anyway. If it came to that, Izel was prepared to fight for Tansy and Sonador's freedom if it would not be given to them fairly. She fixed her stature to one of defense at the sight of his 'weapons', just so she could be ready.
She watched as Torsten spoke up, admiring his guts and courage. Or perhaps it was just his lack of patience with the ridiculousness going on before him. Either way, she felt more confident with him by his side.
Izel was ready to get this show on the road, though it seemed she'd have to hold on to her patience a little longer. Tansy was obviously emotional about the whole ordeal, which was acceptable, but she had also made it clear that she was to leave. All she had to do was stop wasting time and join Izel's tender side, where she could be tended to and healed. Izel would let her say her thoughts, however, because they defied the Talori, and Izel approved of that. It didn't look so far like Sonya would have to stay, the Talori were fighting a losing battle. The two were persistent on leaving, and the Talorian Guardian's threats were being deservedly ignored.
As Sonya shielded Tansy, she made eye contact with him and gave a smile, 'We look forward to hopefully having you back in our ranks.' She thought. Though they would still have to survive the journey up to the Barrier mountains, and survive a meeting with the Primary, she had high hopes they would be accepted into their herd without fault. That was what they stood for after all. She shook out her wings lightly, actually enjoying the rain, the stress of this mission had, had her running hot under the skin, and this was a relief. Though she knew that's not what it was intended for.

Farsight Harrower of Talori
Her words echoed in his mind, Tansy was his best friend, he loved her like family, and maybe a time, yes he knew deep down. At some point he loved her more then that, but it wasn't woven in their fates to be like that and Farsight in this very moment understood why it couldnt be that way. Farsight nuzzled deeply into Zenith, whispering gently to her. 'I love you Zenith." he spoke softly, yet his body jumped at the words of another. He felt his blood turn to ice as he lifted his head and turned to look at Dae. Eyes widen a bit, before his ears suddenly shot down and his nostrils flared. Fat drops of water hit him here and there and he scowled at Dae, if he refused to let them go, Farsight would defend and make sure they got away. " Dae enough, this is not our fight. Tansy and Sonador, they can't remain here not now. They made a choice and if it's even known that we have spoke to them at all, do you know what kind of trouble we all would be in? They could die if they stay here Dae, these times are not good for anyone right now..." he remarked eyeing his friend. Farsight understood his anger, understood his pain, but this was not a fight any of them would win. This would tear them up so much more. " Let them go Dae, just let them go." he urged him. Eyes looked to Sonador and Tansy, offering them a light smile. He mouthed the words go to them, they had to get moving before a fight and brawl would break out. Farsight for one, did not want to fight amongst with his family, but how could he allow them to make them stay when he could see how much they needed to go? Wasn't it hard enough to leave them all behind? Eyes looked to his family that remained, to Kali, Zenith and Dae, did they all want to fight? Did they all want to force them to stay? If so, Farsight couldn't bring himself to do so. Which he would feel that choice hard in his chest once more. If he did not choice to fight for them, would they assume he was against them then? Farsight didn't know, all he knew was, he would not fight, he'd defend, he'd take their hits and and scowls of anger and backlash of words, but there would be no fighting today. Post 8

Kalakara | BrewerKali had been standing in silence, since he said his last piece. His throat felt sore, and his mouth dry as a desert; his heart pounded incessantly in his chest as he stood next to Dae, watching as the group bickered among themselves. His eyes flicked from Tansy's covered head to Sonya, and his gaze grew suddenly cold. If Sonya had been such a close friend, he had a funny way of showing it. With the seeds of Dae's doubt sown in his own mind, Kali felt himself questioning the bay horse silently. He thought back to each and every word he'd shared with Sonya, wondering if any of them would be used against him.
Lowering his gaze, Kali stared at the sand under his hooves, the very makeup of his homeland. If only the answers were written there, plain and clear for all to see. The group's words echoed inside Kali's head. Tansy's accusations, Farsight's pleading to let them go, Dae's fear of Sonya's loyalties. The niggling words of the foreigners, who seemed so set in their convictions of deliverance. He just wanted a moment of silence, but the sounds were relentless, driving his sanity into the sand at his hooves.
Shutting his eyes tightly, Kali watched the shapes dance behind his eyelids, falling into their patterns to calm himself. Finally, his eyes snapped open, and he stepped forward, leaving the safety of Dae's side to stand between the two groups. He stopped just before Sonya, locking eyes with the other stallion. He was searching for any hint of malice in those orange eyes. He only found sadness.
"I don't trust you any longer," he began, leveling his gaze at Sonya. "And I am sure you would not blame me for that, considering where you stand now," he added, glancing to the Flock members. "I have been lied to, even if only by omission, and it has hurt me to find the truth this way. But," he continued, letting the words linger for a moment. "But, I cannot condemn you to death. It is not my way; perhaps if I were more bloodthirsty, I would walk with you away from here. As it stands, I will not see my friends...erstwhile or not...slaughtered here." Craning his neck, he looked to Tansy. Blinking, he stood, silent. Then, he spoke, quietly. "I hope next time we meet, we will no longer be on opposite sides of the wall," he stated simply. The closest to a goodbye either of them would get from the black overo. Turning, he faced Dae, still standing between the clusters of horses.
"I know every fiber in your being wants you to keep Sonya here," he continued. "I feel the same distrust, like I have had the earth pulled out from beneath me. You seem to forget that Sonya is my friend, that I had trust in him. I don't like being lied to, and I know you do not as well. I know you want to do your duty as a Guardian. But as your spouse, I am begging you to listen to reason. If these two stay here, if they're caught with the freedom's flight, it is almost certain they will be killed. Trust me. Despite this development, Sonya would not see us killed by his intervention. Even if I know nothing else about him, I know that much. That is the one thing I still believe to be true. Let them go."

Talori Guardian
The storm grew fiercer, the drops of water falling hard, pelting off of hides like sharp pebbles. Only, the drops arched away from Daemyn's little group; Zenith, Farsight, Kali and himself all went untouched by the hard rain. His eyes locked on the bat-winged pegasus, feeling the anger and energy radiating off of him, feeding Daemyn's own rampant emotions. He wanted to launch at the stallion, to bite, kick and tear his wings into shreds. He wanted, no, he needed a physical outlet for all the pain and anger. What better way than to battle this terrorist beast! Muscles bulged, the tip of hooves sank into the ground, and Daemyn would have attacked if not for Tansy's ragged body shuffling in to block his way. He words did nothing to cool his mind. He would gladly let Tansy go, but not the potential spy, no no no, he couldn't. It went against every fiber of his being! Yet he could not bring himself to harm Tansy in any way, even just to shove her aside. "Tansy, " he started, wanting to explain why he couldn't let the bay go, but the very same stallion cut in with words of his own, and they were oil on an already raging fire. How dared he... HOW DARED HE?! Accusing Daemyn of being a traitor! A murderer! Whatever minute calm might have been settling in, it evaporated entirely with Sonador's words, and Daemyn's ears pinned flat as he trembled with rage. It took every ounce of control to restrain himself, yet the rain took on a sharper edge, pelting the Flight harder still. He eyed the drenched group, dear Tansy under Sonador's wing and the strangers all ready for whatever Daemyn might throw at them. It would be a fight he wasn't so sure he could win, unless Kali and Farsight... Farsight's voice added to the sea of sound and Daemyn had to shut his eyes hard to breathe deeply, baring his teeth. He didn't want to hear the truth, but the words were still piercing through the red mist in his mind, finding a tiny corner which still held some reason. Then he felt Kali move from his side and popped eyes open, extended his little safety bubble to keep her from the stinging rain. He was trying to device a way of taking out all of the Flight members quickly, suffocate them until they passed out perhaps, and he was so deeply wrapped up in this dark plan, that Kali's first few words went unnoticed. His attention snapped to his wife, standing there before him, another body which blocked his path. Ears pinned forward and as Kali spoke softly, words that fed straight to his heart and calmed his mind if only a little, the rain softened and the orbs of water began to ripple and lose form, before splashing to the ground, gone entirely. It was the painful truth again but delivered by a divine creature he would never intentionally harm. His body softened, if only gently, and the rain turned to a slight mist. Refreshing almost. Daemyn did not wish death upon anyone, he simply wanted to keep the spy and his information out of the Flight's wings. But at what cost? Torture? Public execution? He couldn't just prevent Sonador from leaving and then not address the issue. His loyalty would force him to turn in the pegasus and that was a line of thought his raging mind hadn't considered at all. Daemyn deflated with a long, deep sigh. He looked past Kali to Tansy, and felt his heart shatter just a little bit more. "We don't know what happened to you. We didn't see either of you today, " he said softly and the pinned the Flight members with a bitter glare. "Get lost. "

Zenith Talori Brewer
Zenith stood in quiet anxiety as they watched the events unfold before them, their heart still racing from taking a solid stand against the intruders. At the same time, they couldn’t help the numb feeling that was washing over them, as if none of this was really actually happening. Farsight and Tansy professing their love for one another, only to have Farsight come back to Zenith’s side saying he loved them too? It was a confusing mess, and too much to take in or comprehend as their little family continued to be torn apart and left in a puddle of what felt like utter betrayal. The Flight was cruel, and their emissaries here were no different. Zenith feared for Tansy and Sonya’s lives as they pledged to go with the flight, but they feared more for them if they were forced to stay… Daemyn wanted to do what was right in the eyes of the herd, they knew that...but as just as Zenith knew their brother to be, the entirety of the country would not look fondly on traitors, and Zen was sure the two would be put to death. They were about to speak when Kali stepped in once more, voicing many of the concerns Zen had as she appealed to Dae, imploring the guardian to let their friends go. The stallion conceded, and Zenith began to breathe once more, not even realizing they’d been holding their breath up until that moment. Zen glanced at the faces of the strangers who vowed to make a better home for those the copper pegasus had grown fond of. Whether or not that was true was yet to be seen, but in that moment, Zenith realized that they never really knew either of them. Both so eager to condemn the herd, the emperor, Zenith’s own family...and in a way Zenith themself. Did they realize any of that when they spoke out? No. Of course not. They were all too wrapped up to see much outside of themselves. Zen knew that was true for them as well...how could it not be… But at the same time… It still hurt. The words they spoke, the things these strangers had to say… they cut deep… and even standing there in solidarity with those Zenith considered family, the copper equine felt utterly alone. Everything was just a haze as Dae’s voice quietly broke the silence that hung in the air for a moment. "We don't know what happened to you. We didn't see either of you today, Get lost. "The spotted pegasus thought about saying goodbye, wishing their “friends” well on their journey...but it would be a lie and Zenith knew it. Instead, they stood there, awkwardly waiting for the group of traitors to disappear, leaving the little misfit band in shambles and trying to pick up the pieces of the destruction they were already leaving in their wake.

IZEL | SPY
The roan was pleased that everyone- bar the Talorian guardian who seemed to be firm on keeping Sonya and Tansy with him- agreed that the two prisoners should go with the Freedom's Flight. Whether the Talorian's believed that Sonya and Tansy were traitors, murderers, soldiers or not, Izel was content that they believed they should have a choice whether they stay or go. She was even more pleased that they were choosing to go. Izel looked forward to helping Tansy, feeling a somewhat maternal instinct toward her, wanting to simply keep her safe and help her until she was strong enough to finally pull her weight and do good for the Flock. Her calm eyes blinked every now and again from the heavy rain, and she knew the group would have to walk until their wings dried slightly, perhaps Torsten could fly overhead to ensure they would be safe. It was now that she wished she could have wing mechanics like him, or perhaps a duck.
Finally, the palomino spoke. 'We don't know what happened to you. We didn't see either of you today. Get lost.' Izel looked down for a moment, disappointed that so much spite could sprout into an individual. But that was beyond any valid point now. Their opinions did not matter, because Izel would now be too caught up in helping her new family members adjust and settle into their new ideals and mission in life- to put it dramatically.
As Tansy and Sonya slowly made their way over, Izel stepped forward, stretching her wing too and gently touching it reassuringly at the paints side. "Tansy, I'm Izel. I do not yet know you but I am already proud to have you by our sides." She said, her voice so calm and quiet it could barely be heard. The only way to describe her tone was like warm milk on a cold winters night. Her eyes gleamed orange, as she turned to Torsten. "If you are still able to fly, do you think it would be wise to fly overhead? I don't know about Tabitha or Sonya, but my wings aren't much use when they're this soaked, and I don't want to leave Tansy." She said softly, brows resting gently above tender gaze.

Kalakara | Brewer
The black overo stood silently, unable to conjure up something, anything, to say to the two horses standing opposite him. It hurt; he wouldn't deny that. It was painful to watch Tansy and Sonya be carried away by the floodwaters of promise offered to them by the Flock. It hurt to know he had been lied to, even if just by omission, that he'd been compared to Tansy's scum of a family for not waning in his beliefs. It hurt that they were leaving.
But anger has a way of overshadowing hurt, overshadowing the desire to make peace. And anger, especially fresh anger, demands to be heard. Kali could feel his heart beating rapidly in his chest, his pulse quicken when he looked out at the group of invaders. That was what they were, after all. Invaders, criminals, breaking, entering, hurting or possibly killing his herdmates. And his friends - what he thought were his friends - had endorsed it. Sonya had even been a part of it all before. Kali could not bring himself to fathom how they believed this to be right.
As the sounds of the blue roan mare comforting Tansy reached his ears, Kali could stand no more. Turning, he began taking steps away from the group, hoping that with his steady pace, they would soon be out of earshot.

Tabitha gave a respectful nod to the group, a small thanks for allowing them to finally depart. She turned from the Torrine residents to address the Flock and the recruits.
“We shall not spend another moment in this jail. Let us depart,” she spoke, flaring out her large set of wings.
She was anxious to leave, worried that guards could arrive at any minute. They had already spent far more time than needed. Tabitha approached the gate from which they had entered. Though only two citizens had been recruited, Tabitha knew that however small it may seem, it was still a victory for the Flock. With their numbers increasing, it would not be long until they would truly unleash terror upon Talori, a day that she looked forward to with immense enthusiasm.
“I will stay on ground with you three,” Tabitha eyed the paint mare. She was worried for her condition and questioned how the mare would fare on the journey back to the Aerie. She then looked to Torsten, “Torsten, if you are able, I want you to be our eyes overhead as we make the journey back. If you grow tired, we can take shifts.”
Tabitha glanced down to the prayer idol around her neck. She muttered a quick prayer for her group's safe travel back to the Aerie.

Tansy - Cleric -----
Tansy couldn't help but cry, her friends were MD and rightfully so. In a way the tangled Tansy felt mad t her ease of defecting but she never did feel right in the murderous Talori. They were kind to all but those who were winged and the abused mare could never understand why. The others were clearly trying to settle this but the befuddled mind could not grasp all completely. This revaluation of Tansy's self was indeed stringing her back to some semblance of life and doors she thought were walls were clicking open. Why had she not figured out to leave before Torrine. No need now, the damage and scars were there now just like the others she wore inside. Tansy would find her way through this now. As Sonya touched her she quivered, only the occasional nudge or brush from others was the most she really allowed but the warmth from the rain made her shiver again. Something seemed to be blossoming in the heart of coldness she had picked up as of late. She shot a thankful look to Farsighted for pleading to Dae, tears still soaking the already wet fur.
That look then turned to the big stallion after he stated they could go. The tears came harder now, she managed to try and murmur thank you to him. Sure that no words would reach them but she needed to say them. As Sonya began to usher her she did feel a ripple of unsure. He had hide something from them but she let the feeling roll from her. They would have time now to talk about what he has been involved with. It warmed her. She nodded to his words of assurance she could lean on him if she need.
Then the roan was speaking to her, Izel. Pretty name she thought in her detached manner. But the words she brought to her made something shimmer inside like the heat of summer off a meadow. Proud? Of her? A light smile bubbled up to the Izel before they were conversing about leaving.
Fear came back a bit, the thought of running made her worry if she could make it. The thought brought forth that she no longer wanted death. That made her smile again to herself. Oh how quickly things could turn on its head. She would have to remember that next time these feelings took her.
Movement turned Tansy back to those she would forever call her family. Biting the inner side of her lip she watched as Kali began her leave. Stomping herself to face them fully she pooled another string of strength that she did not know she had.
"Kali! Zen! Everyone, I'm sorry. I still love you! Please don't hate me too much"
Coughing now, half from gentle sobbing and calling put to them she turned back to those that claimed care of the fragile thing and nodded hoping that life, though surely would be hard, would give her a better hand.

Talori Guardian
Daemyn felt numb. The anger and rage that had taken up so much space inside him left behind a hollow, empty shell. There was a dull, throbbing pain as he eyed Tansy once more, begging not to be hated. Daemyn wasn't sure he was capable of hating her. Hate seemed to be exclusive to Sonador and his Flight. Tansy was just... a poor victim. He was almost certain that her current state made it impossible for her to think straight. It seemed to be the only explanation to him. He might have thought different and might have understood if he knew more about her. He turned his back on the Flight, unable to look at them any longer, doubting that he could keep himself from attacking. While the burning rage was gone, he felt like it could still blossom at any moment without Kali. He threw himself into a soft trot, coming up by his wife's side quickly. He pressed against her for just a moment and then gave her space. Daemyn didn't trust his own voice, didn't trust what kind of words would roll out if he tried to speak, so he remained silent by Kalakara's side, following wherever she might go.

Torsten "Where you recognise evil, speak out against it, and give no truces to your enemies "- Viking proverb.
Torsten would be lying if he said he wasn't disappointed there was to be no fight after all. His scowl remained as the dealings tidied up, and he gave the big golden stallion one last look of disdain before bringing up the rear of their enlarged envoy. The hairs still stood tall on his neck as he shared Tabitha's fear of the guards arriving any minute. Even with the addition of Sonya, the odds were against them if everyone were to escape.
His gaze washed over the two additions, and for a moment his heart swelled. They had accomplished their task, no matter how small, and he was sure even the tiny weak Tansy would prove her merit in due time. As the lens of his mind focused onto Tabitha speaking to him, he nodded with a jerk and gathered up his leathery wings before springing into the sky, leaving a rush of wind in his wake. He glided low to the trees, his omniscient gaze peeled to get his team back safely.
Oh how the primary will be pleased. WC: 180 Post #5

Farsight Harrower of Talori
Eyes followed the scene that unfolded before him. How his family was ripped apart at the seam. While other may not feel it as terribly he had a assumption kali knew this pain as firmly as him. And it shown as Kali spoken outwards and soon left. Damn said his words and left as well, so all it left was zenith and him.
A part of him wondered if Zenith left his side to follow after. If he was alone to decide... what would he choose? Would he choose the love of his life, or the chance for freedom? It made the vile rise in his throat. He didn't know and maybe he never wanted to know. Maybe it was best to not wonder on the what if's and buts. He made a choice. He would say with his love Zenith. He' d sacrifice his chance for a free roam freedom for her. Yet see Tandy leave him, made his legs twitch with the desire to move onwards but they never moved a step forwards.
Instead he looked to Zenith. "Let's go home." He remarked nuzzling the side of her cheek. In the end he would find out quickly home was never a place but feeling and feeling he found in her, Zenith.

Zenith Talori Brewer
The copper pegasus watched as the intruders moved out, leaving a sense of betrayal in their wake. Zenith hung their head, overwhelmed and exhausted by all that had just occurred. It was just too much for the little equine to deal with alone, and that's exactly how they felt right now... Alone. The appaloosa jumped slightly, startled by the sudden touch against their cheek as Farsight nuzzled it gently. "Lets go home." His voice hung in the air as Zenith only nodded, feeling utterly hollow inside. Turning to head back to the hut, they glanced at the speckled stallion, a mix of emotions and numbness washing over them. Oh how the little brewer wished he could understand everything that they were feeling right now... the sense of loneliness, the betrayal and hatred that seemed to be aimed at them and their family, the feeling of loss that occurred when Zenith looked at Farsight, knowing his heart long to be with Tansy. The absolute uncertainty that hung over them like a cloud. The feelings of abandonment that came along with suddenly waking up one morning cursed by the gods. Slowly hobbling towards their home, Zenith took a deep breath forcing all their thoughts and emotions down once more; shoving them beneath the surface where they would continue to bubble and fester until they would burst forth in an uncontrollable outburst at a later time. For now, Farsight needed support, and Zenith felt they couldn't afford to focus inwards if they had any hope of maintaining thier relationship with the stallion.
