Infiltrate the settlement. There are many allies to be found there. Bring Torsten and Izel along with you. That was the task given to Tabitha. She wasn’t happy about this. Not one bit. The company she did not mind, but the task itself? Gods no. Oh sure, she had done recruiting in her younger years. And sure, she had been at least somewhat successful in her previous recruitment endeavours. But those days were long past her now. What was the peacock thinking? She figured that Izel would be able to do most of the talking, while her and Torsten acted as the muscle. With the recent chaos of the child sacrifice, Talori had become weak. Tabitha knew that the Flock could draw upon this weakness and use it to their benefit. They had thrown dissenters into a camp, full of pegasi and allies alike. For their protection, of course - or at least that’s what they claimed. Tabitha was appalled by the camp. Was Talori afraid of what the pegasi could unleash upon them? Tabitha thought that they certainly should be - and that it was foolish to lock them all up together. Those so-called dissenters would rebel sooner or later, and as much as they guardians liked to believe that they would be able to subdue them within the camp, Tabitha knew that there was strength in numbers. The Flock just needed to spark that ember of rebellion to see them rise from their imprisonment. Tabitha looked to her comrades. “Torrine shouldn't be much farther,” she announced. ------------ Tabitha - Flock Post #1 - 260 Words

Perseus has bade you to travel to Torrine, and find a way into the heavily-guarded settlement. Many an ally could be found there, and it is your job to gain them.

IZEL | SPY
The wind whipped harshly through Izel's dark mane and tail, and she grunted with irritation before loosely tying them away. She had learnt to tie her hair or complete small tasks while flying when she was young, and had spent a long time trying to perfect it to the point where the task did not interfere with her flying ability. Once her mane and tail were well out of the way, she calmed her expression, and focused on gliding with the two other Flock members she'd been sent on this mission with. Tabitha and Torsten, valuable and strong members of the Freedom's Flight. They were gifted with their strength and tactics, but it was Izel who had been trained fervently as a spy. Sly, silent and slippery as she slithered and maneuvered through crowds and dangerous places unseen.
Izel was slightly nervous. This was a big mission, a huge mission. Torrine had been thrown into chaos and ruin, and Izel was glad she wasn't there to witness it. Though now she had been asked to not only witness it, but become apart of it to try and recruit allies. She hadn't gone this deep into Aquore in a long time, though she had researched and trained for it for a while now. She was nervous, but she did not show it. She stayed cool, calm, collected, her eyes constantly scanning the horizon and earth below as it moved rapidly under her. Her large wings stayed still, only the tips of her feathers flapping ever so slightly as the breeze filtered through each strand. She turned her head to Tabitha as she spoke over the space between them. "We will need to lie low until Antiope's distraction has commenced. Once the guards are busy trying to settle the violence, we will slip in and try to recruit some of the poor souls who are trapped there." She replied, basically summarizing their plan. Her voice was strong and laced with knowledge. She spoke humbly, though, as she gave her partners guiding and appreciative glances. She was glad to have them on her side today.

Torsten "Where you recognise evil, speak out against it, and give no truces to your enemies "- Viking proverb.
The stallion brought up the rear, gliding silently as the two mares conversed quietly. His stomach churned nervously at what they would find when they came upon the camp, and he wondered what condition they would find their new recruits.
It was the silent agreement that Izel was there to do the talking, but he did have questions himself as to just what kind of warrior he would be training. Risk of being double-crossed seemed low, but he couldn't stop the stream of paranoia that trickled into his mind that this may actually be a setup. That someone might actually be planted within the camp with their own mission to locate the residence of the Flock. Chewing his lower lip, he steeled himself and told himself that he would simply be that much more careful.
How will we know when the distraction is initiated? It better be damn obvious. He thought to himself

“Let’s land. It’s best not to keep flying, we’ll be easier to detect in the air.” Tabitha spoke.
Tabitha was eager to get this over and done with. She wanted it be quick and simple, though in reality she knew that’d be near impossible, since it seemed complications always arose. A prayer idol hung around her neck. It was frivolous thing to many and there were times when Tabitha questioned how much it really helped her (if at all), but she still kept it, and she still prayed.
The large mare eased herself down to the ground. Her hooves hit the ground with a dull thud. She paused for a moment to ensure the others had landed with her.
“We should get our signal anytime now. Antiope and her group intends to start a fire, which will certainly leave the guardians in enough panic for us to slip in.” Her gaze lingered on Izel. “But no matter what, we should be prepared to fight.” Fighting would be inevitable, whether from the guardians or the inhabitants of Torrine themselves. There would be those who were scared, afraid to leave, even if it was the place that so cruelly locked them up. Tabitha wouldn’t blame them for their fear, but she would pity them for refusing freedom.
She glanced down to the prayer idol around her neck and closed her eyes for a few moments, muttering a quick prayer to herself. Whatever fears she held, the wave mother calmed them, and helped her to push those fears to the back of her mind.
She was ready to leap into the fire.

IZEL | SPY
On swift wings, Izel landed without a sound, dainty hooves easing through the grass. She swiveled her ears, bright eyes scanning their location subtly before her head turned easily back to Tabitha. She listened intently, tongue twisting in her jaws and over her teeth. She was slightly nervous, as anyone should be. She had been over the plan in her head countless times, actually no, she had counted. Exactly 392. And counting. She couldn't help but worry that something would happen with Antiope's group and their distraction would fail to work. If it failed, there would be no point in the group even attempting to infiltrate the camp. Their mission would essentially be null and void.
Izel concentrated on Tabitha's voice to distract her mind. She nodded when they made eye contact. Fighting did not frighten her. Yes, it was obvious that she was more skilled when it came to the philosophical, logical and tactical sides of plans and such, but she had also trained tirelessly to fight. Or at least evade capture and death. She had immensely strong wings, and used them as arms to swing, cut and ultimately punch her way through tough situations. She had only used this once to hurt someone, otherwise she had only used it with trainers or her training dummy. She didn't have to use physical violence often in her field of work, but she remembers when she did, and it had gone better- and was more exhilarating- than she'd initially thought.
She looked over the land, only hoping she saw the rising of smoke very soon. The adrenaline in her system was pushing her to the limit, and she wanted too badly to just get this over with. She couldn't lose her cool, but she was too hot under the skin to be able to hold on much longer.
