Jinxx:
Her hoofbeats thudded gently across the pine needles and her mane made the slightest shuffling noise as the white strands rubbed together against her taught muscles. Jinxx hummed along as she made her journey home, all the way from Valore. She lived in the skytop forest, in a small cabin that was a good few days away. She groaned thinking about the trip. She would have to stop soon, seeing as she didnt want to travel through aodh at night. Wouldn't want to run into any slave traders now, would she.
Without realizing it she stumbled upon a fresh campsite. A small fire pit, a tent of some sort, and a few other essentials. She sniffed around for a bite to eat and luckily found a small pouch of some awfully dry crackers. She yawned, wondering if it could hurt to settle down here for a few minutes.//

I glanced around the forest, glaring at the deceivingly sticky pine needles. They were covering my hooves and were stuck in my tail. They were everywhere, covering everything. I am never camping under a pine tree ever again. I stopped moving, looking up at the impossibly tall, red trees around me. The red bark contrasted with the green leaves, making them seem duller than they should have been. Oh, great. Now I'm think of contrasting colors. I am a color nerd.
I continued on, trying to find my campsite. I had those crackers set out, but I wasn't too keen on eating them. They've been sitting in my cabinet for a while. It was getting darker, making it harder to see. I tripped over a stick, cursing as I did so. I should have brought a light with me.
Finally, through a gap in the humongous trees, I see my tent. I walk up to it, looking at the crackers that I set out earlier. But, instead, the crackers are gone, replaced with the wrapper. I frowned. I definitely didn't eat those. I glared at the wrapper, trying to decide what could eat my extremely stale crackers when I heard a noise behind me. Uh oh.
I turn around and see... the cracker thief. Yawning.
Run! It's a monster!

Jinxx felt a chuckle emerge from her warm throat. Prey. She jested of course, she wasnt going to eat this horse or something. "Why, hello." She greated casually, arching her neck slightly as she looked down at the very short mare. She crunched on the last of the crackers, smiling with big teeth. She supposed this was the strangers camp, and absolutely adored the surprised/terrified look on the little appaloosas expression. Needless to say, she obviously hadnt been expecting company.

I stared at the horse in front of me. And I mean stared. She grinned at me, swallowing the last of the crackers. After the initial surprise though, the crackers came back to mind.
"Why did you steal my crackers?" I demanded, putting on my angry face. I wasn't as angry as I might have been but I doubt it would stay like that for long. I marched right over to where the mare stood, looking up at her. She looked to be a full foot taller than myself. At least I didn't have to choke down those stale crackers. But they were still mine.
I could still feel the pine needles stuck in my tail, so I flicked it a bit, hoping to dislodge a few onto the stranger. Revenge of the pine needles sucker! I thought, adding to my growing anger. My stomach growled though, taking away from the angry pose I was trying to pull off. I hope this doesn't end too badly. I'm a little far from home.

Jinxx felt the sticky pine needles cling to the her side and glared down at the mare, wishing to take a bath as soon as she could to get rid of those wretched dirty things that marked her. Alas, she had to pay attention to the horses words.
"I was hungry." Jinxx shrugged, her voice buttery smooth despite her Irish brogue.

The mare glared at the pine needles, giving them the death stare. Yes, because that is what kills everything. "Well I'm hungry too. You could have saved a couple." I glared at her, then stalked off towards the fire. I pointedly sat down, deliberately ignoring the mare. Guess I'm going hungry tonight, I thought.
"So, what is your name. You don't have to tell me, unless you prefer to be called Cracker thief."
