Nefertiti | Breim | Echo
The halls of the great underground cities of Briem echoed with the sounds of conversation and movement. The smells of exotic perfumes from distant lands filled the air as horses moved around the caves and caverns. It was roughly mid-day, so the heard was bustling with life, as even the most sluggish of those to rise were on their feet by now. The glow of crystals and fire giving the wide tunnels a warm feeling even though they were always icy to the touch. A small skylight illuminated a section of the tunnel, where a silver mare stood. Her eyes were lost in thought as she stared longingly at the blue sky as a thick cloud moves its way over the vast expanse. The murmuring of others in a distasteful conversation snapped her out of her stupor, causing her to blush and move quickly away from them. She was one of their own, but traveling from Sterling made her just above an outsider in their ranks.
The Old Generation were very stuck in their ways, and many of the New Generation didn't appease them. Nefertiti was once one of them, after all her father was a priest for many years to the temples, and she was brought up in their ideals. If nothing else, now being among the new generation in Sterling gave her a good balance of understanding both sides.
Moving through the crowds, Nef found herself finally inside the city of Nariah. She came here to seek the guidance of the gods, since she'd been struggling for some time with her designs. In hopes that one may give her a muse, she brought small crystal gifts for them, as her father always told her to do. Crystals were the smallest of gifts to bring them, but she had nothing else to give. It was always better to give little, than to give nothing, her fathers words rang in her ears as she looked up at the temple she had come to see.
Brilliant carvings of Cascade covered the sea goddess's temple, and the sounds of running water could be heard, even from the outside. It was soothing to the mare, as it always had been. Something about both Cascade and her domain had always inspired her, as she commonly traveled to Aquore in search of goods. It felt right to seek her guidance first, and so that's what she decided. Climbing the steps of the temple, it was amazingly mute to the bustling world that lay outside it. There weren't but a few others here to pray, and not many gifts left today, which wasn't unheard of. Considering Argus was the main deity here, it wasn't uncommon to see the other temples sparse of patrons.
Looking around the temple, she finally caught sight of the large statue of Cascade that stood over them all, coming to a gentle stop before it.
I hope you can help me.

Casius | Breim | Priest
The temple was quiet, only a few bodies passing their gifts and prayers on to Cascade. Soft lantern light gave the temple an ethereal look, adding to the peaceful atmosphere the seal bay Priest tried his best to achieve. Casius wanted a space where anyone and everyone felt welcome, a place where horses could take some weight off their hooves and take a break from the hustle and bustle of Breim cave life and to find security within Cascade's giving hooves.
Cas smiled reassuringly to those in prayer, his soft expression letting them know he was there if they needed him. Taking a deep breath Casius strolled out of his temple entrance way. The high steps at the entrance gave him a grand view over the busy Breim, but he always found himself pinning his ears back, his hearing struggled to adjust fast enough. Once his ears had adjusted they sprang back, he loved the contrast of his life compared to those outside of Cascade's temple. "Mrrow" Casius turned with a chuckle and bent down his muzzle for Sebastian to smooch up against. "Hungry, huh?" he asked the slinky Bengal. Sebastian gave him knowing glance and trotted away heading towards the collection of rooms to the right that contained his bowl and of course the demanding cat's food.
Once Sebastian had been fed, Cas pushed himself back to his chores, the only thing left was his favourite responsibility, the fish! They lived at the front of the temple, in the naturally formed waterfall pools. Gold and black flashes circled each other as they fought for the best place to receive food. Cas crumbled their pellets into the pool and chuckled at their impatience to eat as they all dove to the surface. He broke himself away from the mesmerising scales. His eyes swept over the temple, making sure everything was still in check. Nothing too eventful so far. It was time to let Sebastian out, that crazy cat refuses to eat if the door is open. While there, he grabbed his favourite book from his bedroom, 'The Wonders of Cascade' and took it out to the main temple space. He was just about to set himself down when he felt a disturbance in the entranceway. There stood a beautiful silver mare, looking troubled as she gazed at Cascade's statue, "Today is not a day like any other" he thought to himself as headed over to the mare.
"Hi there, welcome to Cascade's temple. I don't believe we've met before. My name is Casius, I'm the Priest here. Is there anything I can do to help ease your troubled mind?" He asked her kindly.

Nefertiti | Breim | Echo
The sound of a kind voice behind her gave the mare a soft startle. Turning to look, her olive green eyes finding the dark priest behind her. Giving a soft smile she nodded her head in a slight greeting to him. "Good Morning. I'm Nefertiti, I come from Sterling, so I'm not here too often." Her voice was light, but it had its own firmness to it. Turning more towards Casius, she looked up to statue again, as if to gesture to it as she spoke. "I was hoping that I would gain some inspiration here. I've been to Aquore many times, and it's always found new amazing ways to inspire me." Turning back to Casius, she continued. "So I thought if I couldn't afford to do another trip just yet, I would come see the closest version of it." Giving a soft giggle in embarrassment, she shrugged. "And maybe learn some things about Cascade I didn't know, but good luck. My father was a very well rounded priest himself."
Moving towards Casius, Nefertit's mane shimmered in the light of the temple like white silk. Her hooves making the lightest clicks on the hard floor as she moved her dainty figure, before coming to a stop before him. "Do you think you two can help me?" Her voice lower now as she addressed him, glancing to the tall statue again. Giving a small laugh, she added. "Or do you have any legends or stories that may help a desperate artist with her work."

Casius | Breim | Priest
Casius felt kindness within the grey mare's eyes, he could sense her loss. "All the way from Sterling huh? Well, I feel honoured that your journey has led you here to my presence. Cascade hasn't let me down yet, so I certainly hope I can help you out in your time of need." He told her with a warm smile. Gazing up at Cascade's mighty statue, he felt her strength, as he always did. This task was going to be tough but he knew Cascade would guide him where he was needed, otherwise this Nerfititi wouldn't have ended up here. "You've been to Aquore! That is somewhere I am yet to be led." The stallion admitted. "I only know of its beauty through word of mouth and what I can find in books. Perhaps you could tell me more of the Talori beauty in exchange for some guidance from myself?" He turned around, the large bookcase sitting on the far cavern wall his target. He looked over the love worn books, delicately he selected the book he needed 'Holidays and Traditions of Talori.' Casius spun around, he wracked his brain for what could possibly work best to help the silvery mare. "Before I offer my suggestions, I would love to know what you've worked on previously, as to get the greatest understanding of where you might source the best information." He told her.
Casius sat himself down on the hard rock floor. The chill soothed him and opened him up to the sounds of running water and light breathing. He truly loved this watery shrine, even if it wasn't the most common place in Breim to spot another equine. The Priest was about to open his mouth again when he felt a softness brush up against his side. An enquiring 'mrow' followed suit as the shimmery mare came into the lithe feline's sight. "Ahh, Nefertiti, meet Sebastian. My charming Bengal resident. Perhaps he could be a source of your inspiration?" He offered with a small chuckle.

Nefertiti | Breim | Echo
The silvery mare smiled warmly as she followed him over to his books, glancing over the titles before she watched him select one. "I would be more than happy to share my adventures through Aquore, Pastor Casius." Moving to perch beside him, she sat down and looked over the book as he placed it before him, jumping slightly as she saw the cat rubbing beside him. Nefertiti moved her gaze to him and lowered her head to see him better around Casius. Wrinkling up her nose playfully she joked with them. "I design clothes and cloth, so maybe I can make a nice fur cloak out of him."
The mare giggled softly to herself at her own joke, giving a soft snort which quickly caused a soft blush on her cheeks. Sighing to relieve herself of her laughter, she pushed open her bag to reveal a thick sketchbook, filled with odd things poking out from its original shape. Placing it on the floor in front of them, she flipped it open to a page filled with pressed flowers of vibrant colors.
"On a more serious note, I am a designer. These are some of my favorite flowers from Aquore." The bright colors appeared only slightly dulled in their drying, but that didn't seem to rid them of a vibrant glow and strong fragrance they brought. Turning the page, a mess of sketches covered the page, looking like odd patterns and flowery designs on horses. They seemed to resemble the flowers that had been on the previous page. Some had color, others remained in black and white.
"These are just a few of the ones I've designed from my adventures in Aquore. I found these on my way to Cascades Grotto." Nefertiti smiled at the dark stallion. She assumed he would be impressed by her travels to see the massive statue in the placid pool, hidden away in the Talori's land. It was quite a sight to behold, and she herself even bathed in the mythical waters to see if they would work their magic on her. She would wait for him to press her on the subject before continuing, a small smirk starting inside her smile. In this herd, most didn't leave the safety of the caves if they could help it, let alone travel outside of Sirith. So her stories would often captivate other Breimians like foals. And she loved it.
