Nefertiti | Breim | Echo
This was it. Today was the day.
The dainty Arabian mare eagerly pranced into the city of Inaria, it was sunrise, she had gotten up extremely early to be here in time to watch the sun spread its light over the bright colors of the land of Aquore. She didnt witness many as she had lived in the caves of Sirith most of her life, and only saw the sun when it was able to be witnessed through the skylights. Any time she was above ground she spent her time outside as much as possible. The city was already awake, as horses moved around running their errands for the day with their goods and foals in tow. Nefertiti always loved the colors that both the horses and land gave off, as this was the most vibrant region in the known world. The tropical smells that filled the air seemed to fill a void in her heart that the caves of Sirith never seemed to properly fill. It was wonderful, and it was basically her heaven.
Moving into the city, Nef's white mane and tail became windswept as the sea breeze pushed its way in between the buildings, giving a cool feeling to the warming day. The market for the day would be opening soon, and that's what had brought this traveling beauty to the coast. She loved collecting fabrics from far lands, especially those inspired by local cultures and overly colorful designs. Working her way up to be a maker, Nefertiti had a strong desire for design, in not only clothes, but halters and cloaks as well, occasionally working with jewelry as well. It was her life long dream to design for royalty or upper class equids, and so she figured Talori would be a wonderful place to start, considering everyone dressed so vibrantly.
Moving around the winding main road, Nef's heart seemed to almost leap out of her chest as she spotted the colorful tents of the vendors laid out in the main marketplace. Trying hard not to run around like an excited filly, she quickly trotted forward, looking over the goods each vendor had brought eagerly. Tropical fruits, dazzling jewelry, and yards upon yards of the most colorful patterns her eyes had ever laid on. It was wonderful, perfect even. This was definitely her second home.
