For all the tines Judiah had traveled to the diamond of Aodh's eye, their grand city Valore, he still managed to get himself lost among the gilded paths. He had seen the wonders and beauty's of the city time and time again, but his head always tilted up as his eyes wandered among the beautiful buildings, the magnificent art and the decorated horses that lined the streets. He was a simple stallion, hailing from Onea, where his family owned a small farm. It was one of the main reasons he had decided to become a traveling merchant; to get away from the cold land and see what wonders the world had. And so far he hadn't been disappointed. From Nariah to Osulas, Judiah had experienced many amazing things and learned more than he could have hoped, but he still hadn't learned when to turn left! It was always the same building that caught his attention, that drew his mind and eyes and left him to wander blindly as he walked! When would he learn!!
With a heavy sigh, Judiah rolled up his useless map and stuck it in his backpack, making sure to clip the side lest some thief come and try to snatch something. I mean, that was the least of his worries. He reasons for traveling to Aodh this day was to visit an old friend of his, a stallion who could craft the most beautiful necklaces and chains Judiah had ever seen. He had been commissioned to purchase one from a client in Onea and didn't want to disappoint her by being late. Sure, he did have a few days of leisure to gain strength before his journey back but he wanted to purchase the necklace before he spent his money on something else! but now here he was, wondering the busy streets and trying to find his way back to the center of Valore. Judiah walked slowly along the street, tail dragging quietly against the cobble as he moved out of the way of the people going about their business, watching from the sidewalk. Judiah gained more than a few looks as he watched the gilded horses pass by, unmoved as they raised their eyebrows or stared at them as they walked. With his bright purple horns, pink flower crown and blossoming tattoos, he was something to behold, not to mention how tall he was.
Judiah furrowed his brows slightly, and decided it was time to change his game plan. With a deep breath, he watched as people walked by for a moment before beginning to speak "Hello! I was wondering if you coul- alright just walk away" he huffed softly as the mare continued walking, head held high. Second time was the charm "Hi! I was wondering if you could point me to-" He shut his mouth and flared his nostrils slightly as they kept walking past. Third time? "Hi i was-please, I need to get to- Does anyone know where-" he flattened his ears back as person after person passed, none even bothering to look at him "Uuuuuuugh," he groaned, lowering his head "there has to be someone who can help me!"//
