Sven | Talori | Entertainer
A smile tugged at the corners of his lips at the soft chime of her giggle, and the dreamy look in her golden gaze was enough to send a jolt of excitement coursing through him. "I think we can arrange that." Sven said with a bit of playfulness in his voice. His eyes though held a seriousness to them, an unspoken promise and desire as he looked into her golden gaze.
He sighed quietly when Passoa pulled away from him for probably the last time for quite awhile, longer than he would like. But he didn't let his feelings get to him, and he kept a grin on his face especially after seeing the hurt expression on her face at the fact that she had to leave. It pained him to see her like that, and if he could do anything to keep her from feeling hurt, he'd be sure to do it, and right now, that was hiding the sadness that he felt over her departure.
This felt like a newly found drug that he had become addicted to after the first try, a drug so good that he wanted to come back to it as often as he could. Sven knew that she had to leave though. He couldn't keep her here forever, and she had work to get back to after all. This had all been so sudden, and he didn't expect her to drop everything just to stay. She had a home somewhere else that she had to get back to. Plus, he was a patient horse. He could wait for her return (even if he would be anxiously waiting). He'd find ways to pass the time: singing, working, and the solstice celebration was just around the corner, and while he didn't necessarily enjoy seeing the bloodshed, he knew Cascade would give them another life once it was all over.
His ears perked up at the sound of her soft voice, and his eyes softened when he saw the determined look in her amber eyes. It was in that moment that he knew for sure that she would do everything in her power to see him again, and that settled some of the nervousness that he found fluttering in his chest. 'She would come back.' His hooves sloshed through the wet sand until the two of them finally reached the shore where they came to a stop, drawing out the moment that they both knew was inevitable. Sven looked back at the dark mare as she reached up toward him. Her lips brushed over his own in a gentle kiss, and just as soon as it had happened, it was over. "And I'll be here when you get back." Sven promised, casting her a small smile as she turned her back towards him, walking down the beach and toward the south. His green eyes watched her go until he could no longer see her in the darkness. With a heavy sigh, he trudged back to his home and plopped himself back on the couch, wrapping the blanket there around him. He slowly drifted to sleep as the sun rose on the horizon, his nose filled with the lingering scent of pine needles that she had left on the soft fabric and his dreams filled with the image of a dark mare who had so quickly stolen his heart.
