Alyxx/Zale - Asylon Settlers - Post One
Late afternoon sunlight filtered through the trees, as Opal curled herself around Zale, humming softly to herself. Alyxx cleared his throat, and stamped a hoof, wishing that he had time to let the foal just...relax. But they needed to be going. Alyxx couldn't survive here without some sort of work, and he had to get back to it. Zale sighed, whining about having to leave, but extricated himself from the Wyvern's scales, and trotted over to his father. Smiling down at his son, Alyxx reached out to boop Zale on the snout, telling him softly that they'd better be going, but they could return tomorrow. Zale seemed satisfied with this. Together, father and son turned away from the trees, leaving the creature to hunt for her dinner, while they walked back into the town.
It didn't take long for Zale to spot an unfamiliar coat - red and white, with a green set of horns. His eyes lit up at the idea of a new friend, and before Alyxx could stop him, the child had zoomed off towards the newcomer. He had no fear, that Zale. Alyxx called out, hurrying into a trot to follow him.
"Hi!" Zale called, his blue tail flagging as he grinned up at the stranger. "Didja just get here? Have you met Digend yet? I haven't, but my dad has, and says she's super cool," he chattered on. "My name's Zale; what's your name?"
"Child, leave the poor stranger alone," Alyxx quipped, as he pulled to a halt beside the stranger. "I'm sorry; he got away from me," he stated with a small chuckle. "But as he has so...warmly introduced himself, this is my son, Zale. And I'm Alyxx. I have to say, I haven't seen you around either. Have you been here long?"

Yumiko "Wherever you go, go with all your heart."
Post 1 | WC 182 Yumiko had been humming happily as she walked, looking around the city of Asylon - A strange yet lovely city, she definitely thought as she wandered, until a kid ran up to her, and started to talk, followed by another adult. Yumiko chuckled, nodded to the champagne horse who followed the horse as she listened. "Hello there." She chuckled to them, as the two give their introductions. "Oh, it's quite alright, Alyxx. Yes, I'm rather new here to Asylon - only a few days really, I've spent more time exploring Allegi. I'm Yumiko, a wandering bard… though, perhaps a bit less wandering in the modern days. But to answer your other question, young Zale… No, I've not met Digend myself yet, I'll admit. Though… I think I may have seen him during one of the times I was exploring some of the reaches of Allegi." She smiled gently. "And what of you two? I must admit, I find myself curious about all I meet, after all. How long have you been here? Any good stories to share?" She chuckled a bit at her request. |

Alyxx + Zale || Settlers || Post Two
Zale seemed to settle, chided by his father's words. The champagne stallion swished his tail, resting it on the child's back to let him know that he was not in trouble, but that he would need to stay close. Even though this stranger seemed nice, Zale couldn't be running up to everyone he met. At least, not in Alyxx's worried eyes. But Yumiko - as she called herself - seemed to be quite nice. And Zale's eyes went wide at the idea that the chestnut mare had actually, also, been around Digend.
"Well, we're glad to have you here in Asylon," Alyxx rumbled, dipping his head to the creature before him politely, as was the old Aodhian way that stuck with him. "As for us? We've been here a while...at least since before this one was born," he said, nudging Zale softly with his nose. "My husband was separated from me on the journey here, but he's resurfaced in the last few days. Poor thing can't remember much, but he's here, and that's what matters," he chuckled softly.
