Alyxx - Asylon Settler - Post One
Morning settled across Asylon with its usual, calm brightness. The sky turned first gray, then pink, then orange, and finally a bright blue color that indicated the weather would be excellent today. Zale was up, quite literally, at the crack of dawn, pestering his father that they should go and see their Wyvern. Well, Alyxx's Wyvern, technically, but who was counting. The thing loved Zale like he was her own hatchling. And now that she was only a few months off from being full grown, it was rather impressive to Alyxx how...gentle she could be with the child. Especially with how wriggly he could be. But that was neither here nor there.
Together, father and son prepared for their day. Alyxx insisted that Zale wash his scales, and eat something for breakfast, before they headed out. Alyxx stepped into the morning light, sighing softly. It was a gorgeous day, to be sure, but he was still tired. Sleep had escaped him the night before, and he must look...worried. Or simply exhausted. But Zale seemed not to notice, bouncing around anxiously as he traipsed towards the treeline.
Alyxx wondered briefly if they would cross paths with any other horses on their way, but considered the thought for only a moment. Either they would, or they wouldn't, and that would not be up to him. Digend only knew who was up this early, and that wasn't Alyxx's business to be nosing into.

 Aedeldric Vagabond - Asylon Settler "Come come my dear! It is far too good a day to hole ourselves up in our abode." Aedeldric declared as he exited the front door of Blush, standing aside as a pink-ish pegasus brushed passed him."Oh really? It had nothing to do with my telling you how nice it was outside?" Strawberry cooed, fluttering her eyelashes. Aed coughed and tossed his head in an exaggerated manner."Perhaps that had something to do with it...""Oh? Would you mind then if I mark it down on the calender? Aedeldric gives the credit to Strawberry on this date at this time-""Oh hush you." Ruby pink teke gently tapped the pale muzzle of the pegasus who continue to grin smugly at the unicorn who turned to the door to close and and flip the open sign around to say 'closed'. When the glamerous looking stallion turned back around, he took in a deep breath of the morning air. "In all seriousness, getting out would be good for us. All work and no play and one will get bored!" As he strode forward with purpose, he ignored the knowing look from the pegasus who had once been his slave. Her brand was fully covered by a gorgeous tattoo of strawberries, feathers and delicate pink flowers, of which Aedeldric think suited her far more than anything he could have thought up.The duo walked through the growing city, new faces mixed with old ones, all of which were given a nod and a smile. Though Aedeldric did miss Aed for a number of reasons, since receiving his blessing of Illusion from Ignacio, he felt he finally had a piece of home with him; not that Strawberry didn't count, and he missed his parents and Leiv just as terribly. As the stallion took in the sights, a familiar face caught his attention and he paused in his tracks. Aedelric wasn't sure how long it had been since he had seen the weeping champagne stallion, but he was nothing less than delighted when he caught sight of him once more. And this time, Aed noticed he wasn't alone. A small, toddling foal followed behind him, and he heard Strawberry let out a little coo of delight; she had obviously followed his gaze."Look at the little thing!" She leaned into Aed's neck as a group of horses obscured her observation."It's your lucky day, my dear! I know that stallion." Aedeldric winked and moved forward, seeming to ignore the scoff that escaped his companions lips."I'd be more surprised if you didn't know that stallion!""Good morning, Friend!" The grey unicorn called out towards Alyxx as he neared. "Wonderful morning isn't it?" Aed beamed, flashing his pearly white teeth before diverting his gaze to the tiny foal. "And who might you be little one?""Aedeldric you're being rude, not introducing a lady to your friend." Strawberry slid up next to Aed, tsking him in the process. "My name is Strawberry, pleasure to meet you." The mare bowed her head, a bow that Alyxx might recognize to be one an upperclass Aodhian slave might use. |

Alyxx/Zale || Settlers || Post Two
The sound of a familiar voice snapped Alyxx out of his thoughts, and he glanced up, smiling at the unicorn whom he called his friend. While under other circumstances, he may have possibly seen Aed as a business expense, he was thrilled with Keahi's re-arrival, even if the stallion didn't..remember much. And so, he would consider Aed a friend - and nothing more. But he didn't hear Strawberry's scoffed comment about how they knew each other, so he had nothing to be defensive about as he hurried Zale towards the two of them.
"It's lovely to meet you, Strawberry," Alyxx rumbled, as he grinned at the two settlers before him. "This is my son, Zale. His other father is at home, recovering," he said, nodding to Aed. He hoped the unicorn would remember why Alyxx had been so distraught during their first meeting. But now, that was over and done with. He glanced over at Zale, who was watching with wide eyes.
"You're pretty," Zale told Aed with confidence, which caused Alyxx to chuckle slightly.
"Now, you should say hello to Strawberry, as well," chided Alyxx softly, and the boy turned his attention to her. "And you're very pink!" He added, seeming proud of himself for these observations.

Aedeldric Vagabond - Asylon Settler Aed noticed that Alyxx didn't look nearly as disheveled and put out as he had the last time they had seen each other, and he had to admit it had been some time. Life at Asylon seemed to pass by just as quickly as it had in Aodh.
"Please, the pleasure is all mine." Strawberry smiled pleasantly, looking to the child again when Alyxx introduced him. The stallion Aedeldric however, lit up at the mention that Alyxx's significant other had returned.
"Digend be praised, friend! I can't tell you how happy I am to know he has come back safe and sound. I remember that night very well, friend. It pleases me to know you are in better spirits." Maybe Digend really was the miracle worker they all needed. Of course, that was why they uprooted everything they had known in the first place.
"And you little one!" Aed looked back down at the hippocampus boy before him. "Wonderful to meet you finally, Zale. And thank you very much! I work very hard on my looks." He winked softly, before Strawberry chimed in.
"Why yes, I am very pink!" She laughed lightly, "And you have a very blue fin! Do you like to swim?" |

Alyxx + Zale || Settlers || Post Three
That little wink made Zale grin from ear to ear, and he pranced in place a little, as Alyxx chatted with the adults. "Why, yes, it's wonderful that he's back," Alyxx agreed, dipping his head to Aed. "I don't know what I'd have done without you that night," he chuckled dryly. "But we're back together under one roof - even if it's not all better yet. But we're working on it, and we'll have everything sorted soon," he promised, seeming to truly believe what he had to say.
Zale, seeing that Strawberry was addressing him, puffed up slightly, his tail swishing as he nodded. "I swim a lot," he said, grinning widely still. "Although my favorite thing is to hang out with Opal. She's a Chaos Wyvern, and sometimes we go exploring in the forest. She likes to watch while I find the nearest creek to splash in," he explained with a giggle.
"Yes, she's enraptured with him," chuckled Alyxx, turning to the two adults. "I found her egg in the woods nigh on eight months ago now. She's getting huge, but not full grown yet," he explained. "Still, I'm so grateful that she loves Zale so much. It makes it easier if I don't have to worry about him all the time."

Aedeldric Vagabond - Asylon Settler Aedeldric listened to the champagne stallion intently, curling his long tail behind him, tossing his head when he was thanked for talking that one fateful evening. "It was nothing really, I am only too glad to know you are doing better and your mate has returned. That brings me much joy."
"A Chaos wyvern huh?" Strawberry's eyes light up and she lifted her wings. "I have heard of them just appearing recently, but I haven't seen one yet myself. She is a very lucky wyvern to have you as a friend." The pegasus mare turned to look to Aed.
"You must be relieved to have found an egg like that. Strawberry loves the idea, and I have to admit having a wyvern would make a wonderful addition to Blush. But I suppose I would have to go out into the woods to find one." The prissy stallion made a face at the idea of it, but he figured it might be worth getting a little dirty for it. "I can only imagine with Opal's obsession with Zale that he will be very well protected." Aed's gaze shifted around, taking in Asylon and the other horses going about their business. "Though I doubt much will affect us in Digend's embrace." The pale stallion let out a light laugh. |

Alyxx + Zale || Settlers || Post Four
The interest in the Chaos Wyvern made Alyxx's tail swish with slight embarrassment. He didn't feel any better than anyone else because he had one. He just happened to stumble across the egg, perhaps with a little egging on from Digend. Or perhaps not. Who knew, these days? But the mention of being wrapped in the God's embrace made him nod, and Zale looked up at him with wide eyes, lapping up any chatter about Wyverns or the God that might flow over his head.
"Well, Blush could certainly use the additional attraction, though I'm sure business is fine as is," chuckled Alyxx softly. "But as far as finding one, I wish you luck. It would be hard to go out into the woods, I imagine, even under Digend's watch," he sighed. "Although...it has been...so lovely here," he added, smiling softly.
"Miss Strawberry, I hope that you find yourself a companion if you would like one for yourself," he told her with a rumble. "Or perhaps if you can get Aed into the woods, he'd be happy to share his own friend with you," he teased softly.

Aedeldric Vagabond - Asylon Settler Aedeldric curled his tail as he wondered about the strange dragon creatures. It would offer nice protection, even though Digend provided more than enough of it; it was still enticing. The stallion let out a laugh and tossed his head. "Business is perfect! But I have to admit, having a wyvern would bring in a crowd even I would struggle to service." He winked again as he laughed merrily. "No...if it is Digends will than I am sure we'd have the opportunity to find one. As you said, it's been quite wonderful here. Not bustling like Aodh by any means, but I have come to rather like that change."
"So have I." Strawberry nodded her head in agreement. "Wyvern or not, Asylon has been nothing but wonderful. And while strange that it feels like it changes every day, I've come to get...well, excited about that."
"It's true," Aed nodded his head. "New folks joining means new additions to the city. First time I saw a building pop up overnight I nearly lost my horn in surprise!"
"Spooked me as well. Buildings rise at only the rate horses can build in Aodh...but Asylon has proved to have power unimaginable...power to really change lives for the better." The pegasus mare smiled knowingly. |

Alyxx and Zale || Settlers || Post FiveAlyxx nodded, understanding what they meant. There was a lot of power here, and while that was a good thing, it worried him some. Digend was so far a sort of...powerful entity that he knew little about in reality. Always changing, shifting. But then again, change was considered a good thing by most. So maybe he had nothing to worry about. Zale seemed to be trying to keep up with the conversation, his little tail fin twitching as he listened to the adults talk. "Well, I suppose it's good that things are growing, and at a rate that can sustain us," suggested Alyxx with a small chuckle. "I'm just glad that my family has somewhere to stay, with our pets," he laughed. "Though...I miss home. Sometimes. Zale, it's almost as shiny and grand as the things Digend can make...but not quite," he said, which made the young colt's eyes go wide with amazement. "Can we see it someday?" He asked, grinning broadly. But Alyxx shook his head. "No, Love. We can't. But we can be happy here, right you two?" He said, looking to his companions for backup.
