Rycaron;Talori|Sage
Rycaron’s hooves seemed to echo as he entered the Reception Hall, eyes wide with wonder and a sense of trepidation even as he kept his kept his body langage and facial features calm and set into neutrality.
It had taken weeks for him to muster the courage to brave the Wilds and visit the Temple of Time. He’d gone over the arguments for weeks, putting off the visit by saying he had too much work, it was too much to expect a pair of security detail guardians to come with him on this visit.
But the vision kept nagging at him.
His bad dreams had merely transformed from knife attacks and bombings to loved ones turning to stone and then to dust as they blew away in Alya’s wind.
He needed to talk with someone about it more, someone who might have different insights than the councillors he’d had conversations with. Hopefully he could find Nagisa, if she could bear to speak to him. She had been...distant, since becoming an Oracle. He knew she had much healing to do, and it was why she’d seperated herself from the government officials, but it still panged him.
As so much else did.
Ears swiveled backward as the clopping of two more sets of hooves echoed with his own, his two bodyguards alert and scant paces behind him. They didn’t expect any trouble from within the Temple, naturally, but the Wilds on the way here and been a different story.
The Sage himself traveled light, adorned only with his pearls and shells, a dagger strapped to one leg, and his feathered serpent wound about his neck and resting between the fins down his back.
Aqua gaze shifted about, as steps slowed. He didn’t see anyone immediately, and this visit hadn’t exactly been pre-planned…
“Hello?” Rycaron called, wondering if anyone nearby would be able to hear him. He had most certainly gleaned that this was not the sort of place one simply wandered around without permission -- from the Temple itself, of all things.
