Alyxx;Vagabond | Settler
There's always a way out; keep your head up, Child.
It was early in the morning when Alyxx was awoken by the warmth of a furless body throwing itself against him. "Mmhn," mumbled the champagne horse, as he rolled over in his bedroll. Keahi wasn't there, probably up and about already, and he sighed to himself. He didn't want to get up, but someone had to walk Blaze, before the panting creature erupted in unhappy flames and threw himself around the house, burning it all down to the ground. It wasn't a good look, being a new settler in Asylon, to burn the Chaos goddess's city to the ground. Grumbling to himself, Alyxx pushed off the low bed, adorned with a blanket he'd woven himself using his textile skills from his old life. They had left without most of their belongings, which meant that he had to replenish them with what they had in Asylon. And the Goddess seemed to be happy to help, as their dream home had been...waiting for them. But Alyxx didn't have time to think about this, as Blaze's black skull snuffled into his hide, poking him to get all the way up.
"I'm going, I'm going," he said, snarling to himself to keep a yawn from escaping. "Hush yourself," he said, as Blaze began to bark, spinning around in circles. Small, blue licks of flame surrounded him, showing his excitement. "You'll burn the damn house down," Grumbled Alyxx, as he moved to the bedside table to do his morning washing. He made sure to light a small candle with his teke and a match, thanking Ignacio for another day as he prepared himself for the day ahead. Soon enough, he was blinking into the early sunlight as he and Blaze exited the cottage.
Asylon was growing, and it caused a swell of pride to come over him. He was sad to leave Aodh behind, but there was...hope here. Something about that was inspiring to him. Together, horse and companion strolled through the streets. There were eyes on him; Alyxx could feel it. But why not? Furias were uncommon outside of Aodh, and Blaze had only been able to keep his Prime and Resting forms due to the fact that Alyxx had not given up on Ignacio yet. And probably never would, if he were being honest. The Fire God meant too much to him, which allowed his friendly dog-like companion to keep alive and burning.
As he padded down the street, to stretch the dog's limbs and get him outside for some fresh air, Alyxx hummed to himself, wondering what exactly he might run into today. After all, he was still new here, still learning his way around. He wondered what might be there to greet him.
