Acheron of Serora
There’s something ethereally beautiful about Sterling out in the open air, with the sunlight gleaming off the crystals that now composed most of the buildings, and even though he’s been in the city for nearly a week now, the Peacemaker can’t help but just stand and admire the beauty around him when he first steps out of Conner’s apartment. The kirin had been kind enough to lend him a room in his home for when he had official business in Sterling, rather than having to hunt down and secure accommodation for a city he was rarely in; he spent much of his time still in Vasall, working with the Arisen and Alchemists there.
He had traveled to Sterling with a specific goal in mind, however -- there was still an Arisen he had yet to meet, one who the others described as having far too much work to be able to travel to Vasall with such little notice, even after the discovery of the greenhouse and the ancient guardians.
(Oriole had almost had a heart attack when he’d casually mentioned his plans to go find the Arisen somewhere in the city -- apparently just dropping in on each other wasn’t something that the Kawaru did, and she’d sat him down for a crash course in etiquette and the writing of a heavily-edited-by-her letter that had requested an appointment when the Arisen had time. The reply had come what seemed like fairly quickly, and he hoped that would be a symbol for how things might go during this first meeting.)
The walk to the building that houses Uriah’s office is brisk, the Peacemaker afraid that he might be late for their meeting if he dawdles for too long -- that certainly wouldn’t make a very good impression, would it? He takes a deep breath, adjusting the green shawl around his shoulders, before using a hoof to knock on the closed door of the office -- oh, he hoped this meeting went well.
