Mateusz "I can feel my enemy begin to fear my drum I am ready when it comes to pain, I'm numb I can tell you things you won't believe I've done I kill to feel alive."
It was a quiet morning. One that Teu wouldn't consider untimely or daunting. It was peaceful, the birds chirping in small lilts and songs just outside. He had gotten out of bed early, made him and Caivarus some tea, dipping two small lavender bundles in each cup. He stepped gently outside, sipping the bitter liquid with a quiet hum. It needed honey, but he was too far at peace to move his body.
When he finished his drink, he want to check on the kirin who he had now begun calling his partner(s), and they were comfortably sharing a bed together. He reached over, carrying their tea in his red teke and lightly nuzzled the other on the cheek. "Are you awake, loves?" he hummed in a sing-songy tune.
It was rather endearing, his admiration for the two equally left him always finding something to love. At the current moment, it was the way their curls of hair rested messily on the pillows, and Teu dropped his head to set beside them. He lay the tea on the nearby nightstand, using his teke now to neaten up the strands of salt and pepper mane.

╬ ⧖ C A I V A R U S ⧖ ╬ "I didn't care if he was a genius or a fucking idiot, he was rotting away, and it wasn't fun to watch." The movement in the bed made the kirin stir ever so lightly, Varus murmuring in their mind, in their dreams, that Teu was awake. He'd been forced to leave his dream, after all. That was how he knew. Caius merely gave him an annoyed look in their head. The one good thing about Varus' blessing was the fact that they had a place where they could see one another, be themselves, exist separately, even if it was only for a few hours.
The other kirin merely stared him down in silence, a quiet prodding hinting what he was saying.
Caius grumbled, pressing his face into the ground. "I'm asleep."
"We're asleep."
"If Teu needs you, he'll wake you up."
"You know he loves you too." Varus crept a bit closer.
Bared teeth and a sharp stare moving to the other was a reply. "Yea, so? You want me to be lovey dovy like you?"
Varus pinned his ears, squinting down at Caius. "No, but I'm just saying..."
Caius just gave a heavy grunt and laid back down flat, prompting a sigh from the other soul, who went and plopped down next to him, leaning against him. "We have a life, Caius... We have a home, we're making friends... Why are you still angry?"
Caius stayed silent, only giving a small growl when the other Kirin leaned on him. "...I don't know."
Varus looked over at him, remaining quiet for a few moments. "Teu told me to let go of the past... I think you need to do the same..."
Caius huffed, not lifting his head to look at the other soul. Was he clinging to the past? He wanted to go home, he wanted to join the call, to aid in the reclaiming of their home... To see if any of his family had also come back. "I miss them." Was all he said.
Varus watched him, a soft look in his eyes. "...I can feel it. I know... I do too..." He mumbled.
Then they blinked, being stirred to consciousness, their gaze meeting the red coat of the unicorn instead of looking at one another.
"Mmh... Now we are," Varus mumbled, moving to nuzzle Teu back. Caius was being quiet now. Maybe he was thinking about what he had said?

Mateusz "I can feel my enemy begin to fear my drum I am ready when it comes to pain, I'm numb I can tell you things you won't believe I've done I kill to feel alive."
He withdrew when they awoke, teke taking the tea back as he stepped away, allowing them to get their bearings. "How'd you sleep?" he asked lightly. He knew Varus was in control, the only one who actually showed anything toward Teu when he was around. He still had yet to figure Caius out, but he cared for the both of them. He always made sure to show it.
In the past few weeks, they had been getting to know each other. It was quiet in those weeks, much like this morning as the crisp air blew over their small home. The sunlight filtered through a window nearby, warmth cascading down on the two (three) as they were settled in the room.
Teu coughed lightly--he was still getting over a cold, the first and hopefully last of the season. The tea had helped the soreness in his throat and the slight sniffle, but he really just wanted to bundle back up into bed.
"And how is Caius?" he found himself asking. He blinked down at them, their bi-colored eyes, and he smiled cheekily.
