Try to interact with everyone. <3- Have fun! Even if your pony isn't. 8'D Prompt: Mainlanders: You've all found yourselves out in the capitol when you hear a loud voice ring out, speaking for pegasi rights and imploring the crowd. They've drawn your attention, but also some others and you have a fear that things may very well get out of hand. Agitator: In order to get your message out, you've chosen one of the most crowded squares in the outskirts of the city (so that you might avoid Guardians who could arrest you for 'rabble-rousing') to speak. Only, you've not accounted for the crowd's growing aggression... Time of Day: Afternoon Weather: Clear Location: Inaria You do not need to wait for your leader to post!

Kalakara || The Shoal || Post One
Kali's morning went rather smoothly, as the black overo flitted from one task to another. The house was cleaned from top to bottom, with much grumbling from the children left in the house, while Kali cooked up a series of meals for the next week. With Moree and Daemyn out and about nearly every day, Kali's job was to make sure that all was well within their home, so that their husband and daughter could do their own jobs to help out the herd. Kali found quite a bit of pride in these tasks, as they made them feel as though they were doing something to help.
By the time afternoon rolled around, Kali was ready to be out of the house. Ashwin seemed to be in the same spirit, as he tossed down his cleaning cloth and begged his Ama to take him along with whatever they were doing. With a chuckle, Kali relented, deciding that it would be good for them to get some time together. They hadn't been able to spend much time with their son since his strange...and almost inconceivable transformation into a hippo hybrid. With both of them having changed species, Kali considered that perhaps they could get some bonding done while they were out. Gathering what all they needed, and securing their favorite blue scarf around their head, Kali stepped out of the house, and into the streets of Inaria.

Ashwin || The Shoal || Post One
The day was a hell of a long one. Morning started when the sun arose, and the black snowflake appaloosa grumbled about having to be up with the early dawn. Yawning, he trundled downstairs, fins flopping this way and that in an uncomfortable manner; he was not yet used to the feeling, or the sound of rustling feathers that followed him wherever he went now. Although he was plenty happy to have the new features, he wouldn't be able to explain where they came from, or what he'd done to earn them. But the thoughts of his new body were pushed aside as his Ama thrust a bucket of cleaning supplies at him, ordered him to get something to eat for breakfast, and start on cleaning out the house. By afternoon, Ashwin was throwing in the towel, literally, as he finished up the last of his duties. At his Ama's invitation, he headed out of the house, making sure his shapeshifting amulet was secured underneath his neck fin where no one would be able to see it.
As they trundled out into the world, Ashwin couldn't help but shy away from the stares he received from horses that crossed their paths. He knew his pattern was loud, as were the fins and feathers that adorned his body. Not to mention the fact that he was dressed in shiny metal bracers, a neck plate, and dark blue-green cloak, all of which caught the light as he moved along. As best he could, he shook off the feeling of unease, though he stuck close to his Ama as they walked along.

Nimhue | Outcast
Nimhue was aimlesly wandering around the city. Without his usual victims, called test subjects by him, around, he had grown bored and decided it was time for group observation in their natural habitat: the city. It was so that he found himself on a hustling and bustling square full of equines, observing the crowd keenly as it moved about. These Talorians as they called themselves were an interesting lot, if not brutal in their ways. You would not see a sand kirin rip out their own scales yet here these pegasi would cut off their own wings as seen by the bloody display of their divine.
What was weirded even was their whispers of that divine not having been a pegasus before at all. Whether primitive folkore or reality, Nimhue was not sure. While he knew well a gods power and did not once place it beyond their range of power, he failed to see why they would do such thing. After all such thing never occured in his last lifetime, as far as he remembered at least. Ignacio forbid he would be turned in one of these unsightly forms. He shuddered at the thought.
That were ponderings of another time however, interest now piqued by a crowd forming around what seemed to be a public speaker. Curious about what topic might warrant a crowd, he moved closer to listen.

Sawyer huffed in a breath.
The sturdy woman closed her eyes and listened; she twitched her lip and felt the discontent of those around her. Sometimes, being a crowd got to her. It made her remember what Torrine had been like; made her remember the sight of her father's corpse. She'd done what she'd needed to do, then, taken down an agitator, a terrorist. But this... the Flight was gone, and thus, there was no push for blood. Eve had changed. Things had changed. She had sliced away her wings, much like Sawyer's own family had.
Thoughts swirled in her head. Cascade had blessed her family with large numbers and happy lives, and yet...
Her ears flicked.
Almost idly, the farmer moved, her head dipping down. She heard the raised voice, though, and breathed out in a huff, coming to a stop alongside Kali and Ashwin, giving the two a look. Her head turned, and she drifted further forward, aiming to get nearer to the one who spoke so boldly. Sawyer's internal conflicts had roared large within her since the "victory" over the flight. Eyes flicked over the other equine nearby, from one to the next, and she took stock of their faces. She knew some of them: farmers, like herself. There was... a Kirin? Sawyer felt her guts twist.

Kalakara || The Shoal || Post Two
The sound of a new voice grabbed Kali's attention, and their head turned to listen to what the horse had to say. As the stranger continued to speak, their message growing louder with every passing moment, Kali noticed that a small crowd was growing. Protectively, the black overo stepped closer to their son, feeling the warmth of his shoulder against theirs. They weren't sure what exactly would happen, but they had a feeling it would not be good.
"Stay close," Kali whispered, dropping their head to whisper in their son's ear. They could see the tiniest gleam of the shapeshifting amulet that Ashwin kept pinned to his mane fin, under the flop of it. They couldn't help but worry about their poor child; he'd been through so much, and now they were in the midst of a crowd that seemed to be growing more agitated and more upset by the moment. Horses were whinnying, snorting, and a couple even started to shout back, stamping at the ground in their anger. Kali's heartrate increased, and they took another step closer, almost using Ashwin as a support to keep them from panicking.
"Should we do something?" the overo mused, more to themself than anyone else, but glancing around in case some other equine had an answer.

Anouk shifted letting her voice rest for a moment and looked around.Like always the crowds faces stared up at her with mixed emotions. Some looked angry, outraged by the notion that someone anyone would dare voice these outrageous ideas to anywhere let alone the capital. The laws might have changed but the racist ideas of the majority of Talori had not. It wasn’t surprising, she had expected it. On the other hand some looked considering and some might even agree with her, but they never voiced their agreement, they found it to risky,to dangerous and indeed it was.But someone had to do it and that someone was her.
“I know that you doubt me”she continued her speech “I now that some of you might be angry. Why? Is it really so difficult to let go of the resentment and hate? Think for once.Think. Why are Pegasi different?Because they have a few feathers? Please.Birds have feathers but no one goes around hating them!”she looked around at the crowd which seemed to grow more and more agitated as she spoke.Good.That was her job,she was an agitator after all.”Have they personally offended you?Have they hurt you?Have they KILLED you? no.but you have.So think about that before going around hating and degrading them for something that YOU think their ancestors did.”

Ashwin || The Shoal || Post Two
The sight of a kirin in the crowd sent a shiver down Ashwin's back, and suddenly he didn't mind that his Ama was pressed so close to his own side. In fact, he may have leaned in just a little bit, taking comfort in the shiny black fur that he could feel against his own. They may have not started out of family, but they had certainly ended up that way. And it seemed that their bond may come in useful today, judging by the amount of angry muttering that was growing around them.
As the stranger continued to talk, Ashwin felt as though he should tuck his tail between his legs. At least he had escaped the curse of wings, but his tail feathers still clearly marked him as at least partially a child of Alya. There were horses giving him looks between grumbles about the mare speaking before them, and Ashwin's fur flushed hot.
Ashwin let his gaze gloss over the crowd, and his blue-grey eyes grew wide as he realized that some of the horses gathered seemed to be growing more and more angry. He shuffled slightly, and his hoof touched a loose stone. Frowning, Ashwin saw a flash of thought run through his mind. Horses picking up stones, hurling them at the speaker. Shaking his head, he pushed the irrational thought aside, praying to himself that things would remain calm.
Beside him, he heard a voice come up from the crowd, recognizing it as belonging to Kali. "Be careful what you do here, friend," they warned, looking concerned. Ashwin couldn't help but nod in agreement; the capitol city was not the place to go on about the values of Pegasi; things could turn bad for this stranger real quick.

There is a murmur through the crowd. Sawyer takes a deep breath and her eyes close; there's a twist in her stomach that brings her to feel an anxious surge. She recalls what it felt like, before. Words fill her mouth, but go unspoken for a moment, as Anouk continues to speak.
A horse calls from the crowd: "They've killed us! They killed us during the Terrorist Occupation!" Sawyer inhales sharply, recalling the corpse of her father, and the mare pins back her ears, as if that will do anything."You!" He calls, his teeth flashing: "Are you one of them?" His voice raises. The stallion steps forward towards Anouk, and behind him, others move as well; a hippocampus, a wingless pegasus, bearing the scars of removal.
Sawyer's stomach curls. Again. She closes her eyes, again. Her body aches.
She remembers the stink of blood.
The roar of the crowd...
A hippocampus lets her eyes roll over Nimhue. A kirin has not gone unnoticed. The stallion who spoke before grunts, and his head cranes.
Sawyer's contribution: "The Flight killed my father." She glances towards Ashwin and Kali, her ears flicking in anxiety, her eyes wide. Her voice is quiet, directed towards the duo. "But the crowd..."

Nimhue | Outcast
Nimhue found himself nodding with every passing sentence. This equine, they were right. Of course. Every life counted. Every life had the same worth. All animals deserved the same rights. To think otherwise was ridiculous. Yet the crowd around him was getting agitated. They were getting angry, muttering under their breaths, yelling stuff even. Such fools. It was clearly his task as more intelligent being to help educate them. So he stepped forward and shouted his agreement, never having been one to be silent when it came to his own values. “I see no difference,” he said, looking at those around him. “Not really at least. On the outside perhaps, by feathers, by fins, by horns. When you look deeper however you share the same country, the same god, the same culture. And even if you did not, you are all alive. All life is fundamentally precious. All life deserves respect. I see not how pegasi are exempt of this. This equine here does not deserve your anger, they deserve your applause for speaking only truth.”
It was after all impressive that such primitive equine would be capable of such high ethics as understanding equality amongst species. Nimhue had always advocated for this himself, to treat animals as their equals. Kirins may be superior in some ways but it didn't give them the right to mistreat others. Quite the contrary, gave them the duty to care for others. Upon the return of his memories, it had pained him deeply that he had forgotten this at some point and did hurt others. He would not stand for these horses to go down the same path. Perhaps this was the reason Ignacio brought him here.

Kalakara | The Shoal | Post Three
The murmurings of the crowd were no longer murmurings, but out and out dissent with what the mare had to say. Kali couldn't help but shuffle his feet to and fro, feeling his anxiety rise the more that the horses spoke out. He couldn't argue with what the stranger had to say; he'd spent his time in Torrine, fought tooth and nail to protect the other members of his herd, be they feathered or scaled, common horses or adorned with gemstone horns. He had always been a bit...unconventional. Growing up, knowing his body wasn't right for him, knowing that he felt love for creatures who didn't fit the mold of traditional Talorian society. What stretch was it to imagine that other horses wanted to be treated with the kindness he'd been denied? The very thought of pegasi cutting off their wings to fit in better made his stomach churn, and he glanced over at Aswhin, sending silent thanks to Cascade that whatever had happened to his son, it had not left him marred with wings, for his own safety.
"My daughter lost her leg," he said, his voice high pitched, feminine as he spoke. Unlike Ashwin, Kali had no access to a shapeshifting access at the moment, deeming it unsafe considering how he lived in Inaria, and high ranking officials had already seen him for who he used to be. "She was almost killed by the Flight. I had to bear a son in the darkness of the Wilds, and we both came close to death ourselves. But a small subsection of pegasi do not show the truth of all our winged brethren," he stated, shaking his head at the thought of prejudice against the pegasi.
"Yes, we've seen pain and suffering due to the terrorists, but they do not represent our brothers and sisters here on the mainland," he spoke up, nodding to the Kirin. It had surprised him to see that the child of Ignacio had spoken out in defense of the Agitator, but support was support.
"Yeah right," snorted one of the stallions who'd seemed most affected by the agitator's words. "Why don't you go home and watch your freak children?" he suggested, grinning twistedly at Ashwin. With a snort, Kali stepped in front of his son, glaring at the stranger. The tension was strong for a moment, but the stallion soon turned away, his attention drawn back to Sawyer, and arguing against what the agitator had to say.

Ashwin || The Shoal || Post Three
The words of Sawyer and the Kirin, Nimhue, did not go over Ashwin's head. The black stallion could sense the strained feeling in the air as the horses grew more upset, pawing at the air, and calling out their stories of how the Flight had done damage to their homes and health. He could certainly understand fearing the flight, but it made his stomach feel as though it were crawling up his throat to think that horses would look at him, and see him as nothing but a feathered foe. He'd spent enough time with horses considering him to be a mental case for simply being who he was. He couldn't imagine what it must be like to be in the hooves of these horses; he'd not even known Moree or Kali when the events of the Flight's attack had happened, and so could not say that he understood the tear in their minds when it came to pegasi.
But what he did know was that the poor horse standing in front of the crowd didn't deserve to be torn limb from limb like it seemed that the crowd wanted to do.
"We're all the same herd here," he piped up, pushing in front of Kali and looking over at the speaker. "The Flight may have done terrible things, but that doesn't make us terrible as well," he commented loudly. "We shouldn't be dividing ourselves into two camps; that's how we become weak."

Nimhue speaks against the crowd. Sawyer takes a breath. The woman's tongue curls in her mouth and she shakes her head, trying to fight the anxiety of the situation away. The crowd seems to grow more agitated, and it is here that Sawyer raises her voice, trying to, perhaps, quell the anger:
"My father," she begins, "was a pegasus." Her throat tightens. "And the Flight killed him."
Her head cocked, towards Kalakara. Sawyer dipped her head towards the stallion, while the crowd continued to murmur, to grow agitated. "...I'm sorry about your daughter. My father cut off his wings. My sisters and brothers cut off their wings, too..."
But the stallion spoke against Kalakara, and Sawyer stepped in front of him, her own head raising. "Listen--"
Then-- Ashwin. Sawyer nods.
"Listen. I killed a flight member. I had to, for the sake of my family. It makes me sick, to know that I took a life. There is a guilt there that you can't imagine." She's trying to speak to the crowd--
--but it doesn't seem to work.
Instead, the action explodes all at once:
The stallion, his lip curled in a sneer, aims a rough kick towards Sawyer. "Don't whine because you're weak! I killed them too!" He spits as Sawyer staggers back with a split brow. As he strikes, a horse in the crowd hefts a rock with teke and sends it whipping towards Nimhue-- more horses push forward, trying to reach Anouk.
There's a great many of them. The air cracks with anger. Sawyer's heart thuds in her chest and she pushes close to Kalakara, looking to Nimhue and Anouk-- "We have to do something-!"

...
The longer Anouk speaks, the more agitated the crowd grows. You listen to the angry rumblings and liken the sound to a nest of hornets. No one here is happy, that is not what this demonstration is for, but the agitator has bitten off more than they could chew coming so far into the city.
In the villages, even on the farther outskirts of Inaria, they would garner more rampart. But, here in the heart of the city, where the violence was felt the most and both sides truly suffered, they have made a mistake. Their message, it gets across to some, but it infuriates others.
The crowd rises like a wave, their voices growing into a din of ire and resentment. The target of their frustrations not only Anouk but also the pegasi in the area. The Guardians are preoccupied and there are not enough patrols to stop the mob violence. As rocks rain in the air, you become hyper-aware of all that's around you. There are four pegasi in the immediate vicinity as well as any in your group and Anouk, the agitator whose words riled the crowd.
Mabelle is twelve and has been separated from her mother and brother. She's afraid and will be very easily hurt once someone notices her. You are capable of grabbing her attention in one (1) post and saving her in a second (2).
Cynthe is an older mare. She's proud and haughty, and though she's not removed her wings, she is traditional. She believes that she is not in danger of the mob. It will take two (2) posts to get her attention and three (3) posts to convince her to get away!
Ivan is young and strapping. He's from a farm outside of the city and so is accustomed to holding his own. It takes two (2) posts to grab his attention, but once he is alerted to the other endangered pegasi, he can reduce their required post count by one. For example, if you choose to focus on Ivan, after two posts, you can save Mabelle without getting her attention!
Rhine is fourteen and is looking for his baby sister (Mabelle)! He will not pay attention to anyone until Mabelle is saved! Once Mabelle is saved, it takes one (1) post to get his attention.
You do not have to save all four pegasi. The crowd will grow increasingly more difficult to navigate and certain horses may become unavailable to save if you act too slowly! Make sure to denote who your post counts towards getting in a notes section. For example leave a tag that says: "Sawyer is trying to get Ivan's attention." (1)

All hell broke loose. Kalakara ducked as a rock went whizzing past their ear, towards Nimhue, and they snorted in surprise, stumbling almost into Sawyer as the angered stallion lashed out at the other horse. Their ears were pinned to their scalp as they stamped their hooves, trying to get free from the mass of horses who had erupted into anger on both sides. Clearly, it was impossible to see both sides of the argument with clear heads, and Kali worried about the weak and winged in the fray.
Their attention fell on a strapping young stallion, and the black overo let out a whinny, hoping to catch his attention. The stallion, a pegasus, didn't seem to hear Kali's call, and the black overo fretted that it might take too long to get his attention. Thinking as quickly as they could, the black horse reared up, still attempting to catch the young stallion's eye. With all that was going on, the noise of the crowd, the frightening flash of feet, feathers, and fangs, he clearly didn't see Kali, or hear them, and the black horse fell to earth again, ears pinned in defeat and frustration.

Sawyer sucked in a breath; she jerked to the side as Kalakara stumbled just about into her. That was alright; Sawyer glanced at Kalakara and gave them a nod of her head; despite everything, the farm woman wasn't willing to leave Kalakara or Ashwin on their own. It wasn't right. She'd been raised in a tight-knit family, after all; she knew the bonds of blood more than any other. Her head craned, and she caught sight of the stallion that Kali was looking towards-- but there were others that she saw, too. A young girl, a boy-- an older-looking pegasus mare. Sawyer felt her chest tighten, but she lurched towards the stallion.
"Ivan!" Sawyer gasped. "Ivan."
She knew him from work; two farmers, after all, knew each other. She struggled her way closer. Kali failed to grab his attention, but Sawyer yelled:
"Ivan!" She reared up, gesturing. The stallion saw her, having recognized her voice from their mutual work partnership. Sawyer hit the ground and bobbed back up again, shouting at Ivan--
"There's--there's a little girl--!" A toss of her head. "Over there, Ivan!" The stallion nodded; Sawyer couldn't quite hear what he said, and a bit of blood ran into her face from the hippocampus' strike, but when she touched down again, she inhaled, sharp, and looked to Kali, to Ashwin. "Got to find the girl, don't we?"
Her eyes flicked to Ashwin.
"...I'll keep an eye on this one, too." She didn't want to see Ashwin hurt.

Nimhue | Outcast
Nimhue was horrified as he saw the crowd around him turn to violence, rock hitting scales. He winced. Calling babies freaks, hurting with both words and hooves. It was repulsive. “Barbaric!”
Clearly these equines needed further teaching, he wished Ignacio were here, more kirins, maybe then... It did little good though, pondering things that weren’t and it was clear the crowd had no ears for their wisdom. No, their intent was blood and bruises. Nimh may have been a peaceful one, but he had no false pretences when it came to peaceful resistance. Sometimes force was necassary and he certainly wasn’t above self-defense.
The few sensible ones in the crowd were already moving, trying to remove themselves and clearly also the ones who weren’t quite clued in on the wild crowd’s intent. They disliked the feathered ones, yes? So they had to get out. Nimhue zoomed in on the nearest one, a baby still and hurried over. Baby animals had always held his heart. “Hey, little one, where’s your parent?” Nimhue looked around, but wasn’t quite sure how relations worked with all the intermingeling these species did. “Please run, littke one. Be quick! Go home!” He called, pointing his antlers towards another who ventured too near.

The crowd grows thicker.
Rhine disappears behind a wave of bodies. When you catch sight of him again, it is obvious that someone near him has wrenched him backwards by wrapping their teke in the boy's hair. You must first confront Rhine's attacker.
It takes one (1) post to confront them, a second post to free Rhine, and a third post to direct his attention to Mabelle.
Cynth directs her attention to Anouk and she hurls a rock at the agitator, Anouk.

Ashwin || The Shoal || Post Four
The black appaloosa reared up as all hell broke loose, surprised by how suddenly the tide of the crowd had turned from mildly agitated to completely violent. He looked from left to right, unsure of what exactly to do, not wanting to get himself or his Ama hurt, but feeling a deep desire to do something, to help somehow! His attention was drawn to Ivan, as Kali called out to the stallion, begging to get his attention. Clearly, they had that situation under control, so he turned his eyes elsewhere. Another horse had called out to a young filly, alerting her to the danger. It appeared that the group was slowly becoming safe, however, his eyes lit upon a horse being dragged back by the mane. A shiver of fury ran down the stallion's spine, and he lunged forward, teeth bared.
"Let him go!" he demanded, stamping his hoof on the ground as he made his way towards the attacker. His ears were pinned tight to his skull, his teeth were bared, and his peacock feathers were spread threateningly. He was ready to go down in a fight, if it meant saving his feathered brother.

Chaos. That was the only word Anouk could think of as she stared at the crowd and its rapidly growing aggression. Of course she as she spoke she had heard the growing anger in the crowd voices, the curses uttered against her and the pegasi in the crowd, but never in her wildest dreams ( or better said nightmares) had she imagined that a harmless protest could turn into a full blown riot. She started to feel the panic seizing her, the instinct to run,to hide growing in her.But no! she thought, she had to stay, she had to help bring everyone to safety, this was her responsibility, she was the cause of this.Shw loved around wildly trying to find the guardians the survey had come when they learned about the riot but she so no one.Wether they hadn't come at all or they were lost somewhere in the crowd she did not now, and frankly right now she didn't care. She stepped of the rock she was standing on trying to blend ito the crowd, but it was impossible, they had seen her and would not let her escape that easily. She looked around trying to find a gap in the crowd that was closing in on her, but the only thing she saw was a small child no older then fifteen being brutally assaulted by a much bigger and older equine. As she looked on trying to get to the child she noticed another older but still young horse confronting the assistant of the child, but she new that the fight would not be fair. She tried to fight her way through the crowd to help. Just as she had made it there, she noticed a mare standing just a few feet away from her, looking her straight in the eyes a rock hanging in her teke. She opened her mouth ready to shout something,to calm her down but it was to late. She saw the rock flying towards her.She did not manage to duck. The next thing she knew was a searing pain taking over the right side of her face and then…darkness.

A wave of sound. The crowd shows no sign of letting up.
You've confronted Rhine's attacker. Now you need only one post to free him. Mabelle, however, has caught sight of her brother and has caught his attention. Once you free him, he will escape with his sister.
Cynth is a lost cause. She will not leave, unfortunately. Anouk has been hit with a rock and dazed quite badly. Turn your attention to them.

Kali || The Shoal || Post Five
The black overo whirled in circles, attempting to keep an eye on Ashwin as they tried to protect their son. Almost before Kali could blink, the child was rushing away to the aid of one of the pegasi. It was a bit strange, the rush of pride that Kali felt, watching as Ashwin put his life on the line to protect someone he barely even knew. But while they were happy to see that the child was caring for his fellow herdmates, they were not at all pleased that he was away from their grasp, and possibly in danger.
Before Kali could react, and follow Ashwin, a rock sailed past their head, conking Anouk stoutly on the face. With a surprised whinny, Kali turned to see that Cynth, an older pegasus they'd crossed paths with a couple of times, had hurled the item, based on the teke color that hazed around both her and the rock a moment ago. Kali narrowed their eyes, bared teeth at the mare, and took a couple of steps in her direction, before coming to a halt, and looking over their shoulder. Anouk was bleeding, possibly in need of medical attention. Giving the pegasus one more look of abject disappointment and disgust, Kali turned their attention to Anouk, rushing over to help the horse out.

Nimhue | Outcast
The crowd was brutal, that was all Nimhue could conclude as he shouldered his way through it. He wanted to get to the older pegasus, the old and feeble deserving help of the young but the mare clearly had other plans as she picked up a rock and threw it right at the speaker. “Pile of Ash,” he curses her in shock, watching in horror as the rock hits Anouk square in the head. No. He wanted to help her, but saw someone else was already moving.
Throwing the elder mare a filthy look, he looked around to see if anyone else was in need of help and spotted another youngster. “Hey!”
He cringed as he got shoved rhoughly, moving his head in a threathening way. One horse had the decency to step back, looking fearful, but others seemed just more angry. “Hey! You!” He called again, trying to get the young colt’s attention.
Eyes crossed eachother and Nimhue gestured his head. “Get out! Now!” Before it got ugly, but he didn’t say that despite the urgency his tone implied. No need to scare them even more. He glanced over his shoulder at the one looking over Anouk. Did they have everyone now?

Everyone is free. Escape with Anouk before the crowd turns on you.

This woman wouldn't leave. Sawyer seemed numbed as she watched.
Her voice raised, though. Sawyer bulled her way forward, the agriculturalist hissing a breath in, sharp and afraid. Very afraid. Sawyer moved towards Anouk, her voice raising towards them:
"We have to leave!" Sawyer said. She maneuvered, blocking off access to Anouk from one angle-- her sides rose and fell and she drew her tongue over her teeth. "Talk to me. We need to move, but talk to me, let's make sure you're alright--" Of course, she knows that the likelihood of this individual being alright is... well, it's not stellar, and Sawyer flicks her head back, her own blood on her skin. Her teeth flashed, and she was ready to strike the crowd if she needed to do so, by this point. The display of callous coldness-- yes, Talori had suffered, but this made them no better than the terrorists that they damned. Her hooves stomped down and Sawyer cleared her throat.
Then, her voice lowered, so just the group could hear her-- "I'll give you refuge on my farm. I'm already-- I mean. You see the brand. I'm already... marked. All of you will be safe there, I swear it." Sawyer said it, earnest, her voice strong despite the lowered tone. "This behavior is--"

Ashwin || The Shoal || Post Five
The black snowflake stallion shook his head, rounding back around now that the other Pegasi were free to collect himself by his Ama. He didn't like being too far away from them in all this hubbub; without Daemyn present, it fell on him to be the man of the house, and that meant protecting everyone. It was a large burden to put on himself, but one that he accepted without blinking. Sliding to a stop beside Kali, he looked over at Anouk, hissing when he saw the state of her wounds. "We have to get moving," he rumbled, his voice deep in the manner he used when he was trying to be taken seriously. Since he'd aged himself up, he was finding that his body responded even more to the shapeshifting amulet, and it made him feel even more at home in himself. Things like the depth of his voice, or the structure of his bones elated him. But now was not the time to be concerned with such things. "If Sawyer says we can stay at the farm, then I think we should go," he muttered, nodding to the horse that he sort-of recognized. He hoped he'd gotten her name right. "We clearly can't stay here." Without another word, he nodded to Sawyer, begging her to lead the way so that they could escape. He was ready to go. WC: 230

Anouk shuddered and tried to stand up the world swimming before her eyes. The pain in her head fealt like a thousand hot needles continuesly poking her head. She shook her head and felt her blood drip from her face. Her blood. She looked around with her one good eye noticing the equines that had huddled around her trying to protect not only her but also themselves from the crowd. "I'll give you refuge on my farm. I'm already-- I mean. You see the brand. I'm already... marked. All of you will be safe there, I swear it." she heard the mare saying who was standing closest to her with her back turned. “Yes” she said startling the rest of the group “ You need to leave...It’s me they want. Its all my fault” She turned around locking eyes with the Pegasus who had thrown the rock at her. Why?Why couldn’t she understand? Why was she moving against them? Why when she had faced all those hardships all this racism? Why? She turned around again facing the rest of the group again. She had to tell the to leave. To leave now before it was to late. But the strain was to much and as she stepped forward her legs buckled and everything went dark again...

Kalakara || The Shoal || Post Six
The black overo was there to catch Anouk, though they stumbled and almost fell underneath her weight. With a sharp whinny to Ashwin, they called their son over to take the mare's other side, and with their combined physical strength and teke, they were able to sort of shuffle the unconscious mare along, moving at a snail's pace as they fought towards the edge of the crowd.
"Sawyer, you'd best lead us towards that farm of yours," Kali said, nodding their head to the other horse, their brow furrowed with worry and strain as they attempted to keep Anouk somewhat standing upright. "We need to get going, and quickly." Without another word, they bowed their head, grunting against the strain as they tried to keep Anouk upright. Even with Ashwin splitting the task with them, it was hard enough to keep the unconscious mare standing, let alone fight their way through the crowd with the fleeing pegasi in tow. Kali wasn't sure exactly how they were going to get out of this situation, and they sent a silent prayer up to Cascade that the Wave Mother would get them out of this fix.
