SauronIn the eye of a reckoning Everyone is a sheep But I've become the lion’s mouth So settle in my teeth Was it wrong to suddenly feel so smug in this moment? He watched the others take in the words of this tale. So Serora and Aodh more alike then they ever imagined. He wanted to belly laugh, make bad jokes, sneer how this was their own downfall. Oh he was a painfully cruel, vain creature. Yet he remained looking over this little flock, taking in all the words with delight, though remained looking his grumpy self, his eyes narrowing as he listened.
Sauron wanted to say something watching them all fumble over things, wanting to search for more answers, something else. Yet the moment was gone as others seemed to come in. Oh by the gods, he thought with distaste as an equine came in here and bossed around another. Sauron should have perhaps remembered their name, but it was easy in one ear and out the other.
It took him no time at all, to be ordered about, he wanted to fight it,but instead spat out smoke and did what he was told at least for now. Before making his escape with the group to go relay this wonderful information. Ha, he can't wait for them all to know. Oh Sauron loved family drama.

| ENIAH your scars will be remade in gold.
________________________________________________
"But their decisions impact the present." Eniah states coldly, calmly. He continues to search for viable tomes and books, poking his nose into the dusty shelves, ignoring Diana's attempts to east him. His mind is racing. After all, if the book does not lie, than meant that a Seroran's words were what began slavery, the very thing that had given him his scars and his brand, so many centuries ago. "Have you forgotten the very thing that Aodh declared war over in the first place? Slaves!" Ears pinned flat in disgust, Eniah turns to face the others, his gaze scanning each of them.
"Do you know how many horses have been captured and had their livelihoods torn apart just because of Aodh's obsession? It practically plagues all of Hireath!" In fact he had witnessed it first hoof on his journey south; He had seen Rose taken, and many other vagabonds and escaped slaves who were being pursued by clever slavers. "I don't want it to be true that the horses who condemned them came from your herd. You guys are all too kind to be like them ... to be the bad guy ..." And just as his words began to die down, both in defeat and in shame ( he never did like his emotions getting the best of him in front of others, ) An old, scholarly stallion burst into the library. Unlike the others around him, Eniah went incredibly quiet, and his tail raised in an alert, yet eloquent manner. Silently acknowledging a superior.
Despite this raw, heavy pit in his stomach, Eniah forced his emotions in. He pursed his lips, turned his back from the rest, and silently began fulfilling orders from Salome, mirroring old ways. All the while, he tried to stifle this new downward spiral of confusion. | |
