Felizio gasped, only taking a few moments of slow processing to realise he had not expressed the Briemian greeting. His large mule-like ears swivelled at the sudden messages rushing through his head; for a moment forgetting how to function properly. Slowly, the mule struggled to get himself to bow with what looked like a healthy body; even if his body was far from healthy. His white cloven hoof on his right side went out, as he lowered his head for a particularly long time. "They have seen us meet."
Felizio slowly, and with difficulty got himself standing properly again. His strawberry irises focused on the young Kirin, studying her in a way. As he tried to think, he realised that this young Tie was indeed a Kirin. It was simply fascinating. Had Fel been sleeping under a rock all this time? He struggled to remember the rebirth of the Kirins, but Fel was sure this was the horned species he had heard so much about. Fel needed to write this down, but again he couldn't. It was too risky to pull out his journal, since Umare could be around him at all sides.
When the question was posed to him, Felizio tilted his head slightly. He wasn't confused, just mildly curious to this scenario. Looking between what looked like the Tie's friends before back to them, smiling softly. "That would be nice, that's if you allow me to join you guys." Fel's words were calm but collected, his voice unwavering as no nervousness was present. In his eyes, he assumed the young Tie would call guards upon him or something for interrupting their time and space. But he didn't mean it. His mind wasn't in the right place; but his head was.
"I must introduce myself before I sit." Fel spoke, his eyes full of knowledge and excitement. He was so intrigued on the concept of friendship, especially with equines outside his social group. Would they be interested in his ramblings about medicines and travelling? He'd have to see. "I'm known as Felizio by a few, but you all can call me Fel."

Beatrice Umare l Magi
"I am unwritten, Can't read my mind, I'm undefined"

Beatrice smiled shyly as the stranger returned the greeting, finding comfort in the ritual. Predictable patterns like that always filled the young magi with a sense of comfort. "That would be nice, that's if you allow me to join you guys. I must introduce myself before I sit. I'm known as Felizio by a few, but you all can call me Fel." Bea nodded in acknowledgement. "It's good to meet you Fel." She replied, a gentle but nervous smile crossing her lips though her voice quivered softly. "My name is Beatrice." She added, returning to her seat while ensuring there was room enough for the unicorn to sit as well. Swallowing hard, she glanced between the two strangers, feeling rather unsure of what to do. "Have you been enjoying the festival...?" She ventured nervously, slowly feeling herself shrink deeper into her shell. "I haven't had much of a chance myself... Its a little too overwhelming out there..." She managed to add in a quiet mutter. Gripping her tea within her soft pink teke, she took a long sip of her tea, taking the moment to gather her nerves. "My name is Beatrice."
Fel's mule ears pricked at the kirin child's name; pleased that she felt comfortable to tell him that. His seal bay coat was defininitely shinny that day, since most of the light from outside the cafe was making his features rather glossy. Moving slowly (to not intimidate Beatrice) and carefully, he soon slotted himself down beside her. Fel gently pulled out his journal, but kept it close to himself; placing it on the table the equines were sitting at. Turning his head to the tie, he bowed his head and responded. "It's a pleasure to meet you Beatrice."
Fel's strawberry eyes glanced around the room and even outside for a moment, just listening to the young equine. Looking back the strangers at the table and soon after Beatrice. In a way, he could tell Beatrice was nervous just by her words but he could understand that being out here alone without your favoured parent was intimidating. Felizio knew what that was like. With a calm deep breath, Fel nodded. "I am," He spoke with honesty in his voice. "It'll be a shame though," Felizio paused for a brief moment, whether or not he should talk about his problem regarding his memory. With hesitation, he added, "Come tomorrow or even later this afternoon, there's a chance I won't remember the festival since my memory is incredibly temper-mental." That's the one thing Fel hated the most, his memory.
Fel looked at Beatrice and lowered his head to her so he could get to her level. He felt like he had an idea come to mind. "You don't have to agree to this, but if you'd like, we could explore it together after this. We can't let you miss out on the fun, no?" Fel loved children, especially spending time with them and just connecting with them either on a spiritual or mental level- he'd say physically too if his body wasn't a constant problem for him each and every day.
"Call it a trusting exercise."
