| ENIAH your scars will be remade in gold.

His Valorian sense of cleanliness hasn't left him. Although he's gotten used to the desert soil, it still didn't feel comfortable on his skin. The mud stuck like glue near the water's edge and the sand liked to dust his mane. Very few horses were near the shore today, as many of them had left the Oasis to visit what remained of Osulas. To a self-conscious child like Eniah, there was no better opportunity to bathe in the cool waters.
His familiar, Sol, was perched in a nearby joshua tree, probably preening himself in unison with the close equine companion. Although both of them had had their freedoms granted, the small kestrel had chosen to linger in Eniah's company. 'I don't know, I just enjoy conversation with you,' Sol had once stated. 'You're the only equine I know who I can talk to.'
Hanging on a low branch of that same tree was Eniah's cloak, neck wrap, saddlebags and staff. With him, the fiery colt always carried bottles of his homemade facepaint. The sparkling gold mixture had already been rinsed off, mixed into muddy red puddles and turning them a glittery sunlit hue.
Eniah shakes his mane out, and takes one last look at his reflection one last time. The water is not as clear as a mirror, but he could still see his own scars etched into his face. "...The more I look at them these days, the more I think I hate them, Sol." He mutters -- mostly to himself, because the bird was too far away to hear. The colt gives a half-contented sigh and steps out of the water towards his cloak. "Are you ready to go?" He calls.
'Still preening.' Sol replies half-heartedly, with a beak full of feather. 'One minute.'

A c u n a "Dream big, fall far." Along the track of the now distant Oasis, the sun was bright and the evidence of dust layered the mare like a cake. Heading towards Osula was one of the final places Acuna wanted to visit before her adventure to Vasall, since she needed to get away, especially from the life she was given. If she could get away from everything and discover the world, she would without question. The mare did not have a companion, but she considered herself a companion of her own; of her own company.
Nearing one of the best viewing spots of Osula, the mare lifted her head to take in the clean air - the scent of freedom not so far away now. The audible silence was comfortable in her own opinion, since she had no friends to tie her too Sedo. Closing her eyes, she mumbled for a moment- "If only..." before making it to the edge of a small rock ledge. As the mare stood on the small rock ledge, her eyes looked towards the sky. It was clear today, almost no cloud in sight. The breeze was cooling but reminded her of the burden she carried, the burden that she was a planter - not some fast, dynamic flyer. A dream in shambles from a young age.
Quickly darting her head down, her eyes caught the light of the water, the lake almost sparkling with purities. It seemed beautiful, almost clear enough to swim within its waters. Acuna decided to turn on her heel and make her way down towards the water, unknowing that there was already someone down there already - packing to leave.

"Should I go for more swirls this time? Or lines?" Asks Eniah as he begins to tie his neckwrap around, and reaches for the flowers given to him by Ianthe in his saddlebag. With delicate care the young colt placed them in his mane, fastening them into locks of hair with a touch of his sky blue teke. One of the chihuahua flower petals hung over his eyes, and he blew at it to set it back in place.
'Whichever makes you happy.' Sol was always indifferent to how Eniah looked. Clothing or no clothing, all horses looked weird to him. Ironic, given that he was twice as vain about his looks than his self-conscious companion.
"Hm." The fiery colt gives another grunt below and finishes tying up his neckwrap. He is about to reach for his saddlebags next, when those blue eyes spy something moving in the corner of his vision. Standing out against the red Sedo soil and sienna canyons, another horse was making their way down to the water's edge. "...Damn--!"
He never swore in the company of other horses. But, in a few moments, he would be. Normally, Eniah never rushed for his cloak these days. Not that he let himself get caught in the open without it either, but he was far more wary than usual these days. Aodhian horses could now freely wander Seroran territory. It was unlikely for one to be welcomed into the Oasis -- but he didn't know that! What if it was an Aodhian horse? What if they saw his brand?
Hurriedly, Eniah reaches for his cloak and hastily begins to slip it over his head.

A c u n a "Dream big, fall far."
The mare's hooves clacked against the rocks and the gradients of the Sedo soil, making her way towards the lake's edge. Maybe walking through the water would cool her off for a moment? It may be the last time for a long while that she feels the cooler water of her desert home. With a gentle sigh, she tried not the think about it. Leaving. Suddenly, her ears perk up out of their relaxed state after hearing a sound of hooves scuttling away from her. "Hello?.." Acuna's head turns in the direction of where the noise had come from, her mind more-so focused on the noise than the idea of feeling the water on her legs. Maybe it was a creature of the land, since she had never been out this far on her own. Acuna almost had to run away to come to places such like these alone. Passing the land's flora slowly, she walked with curiosity but also carefulness. If it was some carnivorous creature, she would put up a fight. Or, it could be some Aodh equine who was snooping in all the wrong places or maybe, it was a Seroran equine enjoying the sunlight.
"I maybe not be a fury or skirmisher, but folk can put up a good fight too!" Acuna called out, trying to sound threatening but at the same time, she had no weapon on her. Acuna had no sense of protection other than her own legs. Of course, she didn't mean to come across threatening, especially within her homelands but she had to. She had to, to survive. Moving closer towards where the sound came from, she made sure to check the path behind her.
There was no one there.
What sight would behold her next would either shock her or make her become more relaxed. Which one? She didn't know herself.
