|| Ashwin/Moree || Post One ||
It was early in the morning when Kali ushered the two foals out of the house. Though...foals was a loose term for the black overo's children. Moree was already fifteen, thanks to the aging potion that she had been given to protect her during the war with the Freedom's Flight, and Ashwin had come to them as a young adult already. But they were still their children, and Kali would always see them as their little ones, no matter how big the kids actually got. But, it was time for the two children to have a bit wider an experience. Kali had to admit, they had been trepidatious when Odette had come back into the family's life, and who could blame them after the events that had taken place between the two of them as children. But it seemed that the mare had grown up a bit, just as Kali had...especially since those fateful days, and now it seemed that Odette had dedicated her life to being the kind of horse that foals like Ashwin and Moree needed. And so, Kali was ushering the two foals off to spend the day with their "aunt" to see what she could do to help the two foals come into their own.
Ashwin was silent as he walked beside his new big sister, watching the slight limp in her movement. Despite the fact that her healing regeneration had helped her limb come back to her, it was still weak, and she often walked with a brace or a cane to keep herself upright. Moree was humming to herself as the pair headed for Odette's home. Moree had memorized the route well, as she knew most of the city thanks to her duties as a Cleric. Ashwin, on the other hoof, was not so well versed in the city streets, and stayed close to his sister's side, letting her lead the way.
Soon enough, they were arriving at the door, as the sun blazed brightly overhead. Nimue was curled up in Moree's mane, and stirred slightly as the mare knocked on the door, but settled back down when she realized that little was going on to interest her. Moree had figured that the snake could hide well enough in her mane, unlike the Hydra that she had left at home for the day. Making sure that the snake was settled in her mane, Moree waited for herself and Ashwin to be allowed entrance into the blood bay mare's home.

|| Odette || Post One ||
Odette had never thought it would be possible to see Kali again, let alone be in the other hippocampus' life, and to meet their children. It felt almost surreal, having that piece of her heart returned; although much different, it still fit the hole it had left well enough. She was delighted to be given this chance at making amends, and she was eager to prove her efforts to be genuine. Of course when Kali suggested they let her watch over their children for a day Odette happily agreed. It was of her understanding that the children in question were in similar situations as her own and Eden. It would definitely do them good to have a wider support group than just their own parents and siblings, and so she would strive to do so.
When she heard the knock on the door, Odette rose from her couch, closing the book she had been reading. Scarlett hopped up as well, scrambling about in circles like some sort of over-excited puppy. The mare lifted the small croc up with her teke, holding the albino reptile before her with an unimpressed expression. Scarlett blinked, looking for all the world as though she had no idea how she'd gotten up there. Odette just chuckled at her ridiculous familiar and plopped the silly thing onto her back as she made her way quickly to answer the door.
"Moree, Ashwin, it's lovely to see you both." She greeted them, smiling and holding the door open for them both, "Come in, make yourselves at home."

|| Moree/Ashwin || Post Two ||
Ashwin's gray eyes were wide as the small, black and white colt entered the house, looking around and taking in all that there was to be seen. He seemed...more timid than his older sister, holding fast to her side as he wandered along. His tail twitched slightly as he caught sight of Scarlett, though he did his best to hide the excitement that was clear in his eyes. While he was used to Nimue and Cerberus, he was always clamoring to meet other Familiars, and seemed to have taken after his sister's love for animals.
"It's nice to meet you," piped up the small figure, his gaze turning to the stunning sight of Odette. Ashwin was used to garishly decorated equines, considering Kali's taste in accessories, and he found the blood-colored mare pleasing to the eye. While Kali and Odette may have had their differences, Ashwin was none the wiser, and so considered the mare to be some kind of extended family, right off the bat.

Moree, meanwhile, was wandering after Odette, doing just what she was told, and making herself at home. Seeing as she had forgone her prosthetic brace today, the mare was happy to find a place on the living room couch, and settle herself into it with a sigh of happiness. Nimue curled up around her ears, slithering to and fro as she explored the room around her, small wings flapping with delight.
"Ow, quit it," Moree protested, as the feathered serpent smacked her in the face absentmindedly with a rogue wing. "Well, um, thanks for having us today, Odette," the palomino mare said, smiling brightly at her caretaker. While normally, Moree would have balked at the idea of having someone take care of her - she was a fully fledged Cleric after all - today, she was glad of the company. Zundan, her first love, had disappeared into the jungle some months before, and never returned. While she had told her family about the event, Mo had kept her relationship totally private outside of that, due to the Talorian customs and their overbearing manner. Now, what she really needed, was a shoulder to cry on. Someone she could lament to about how difficult it was to fill that aching hole left in her heart, when only the soft and gentle touch of a mare would do. And Odette, with her sordid past, was sure to understand.
"Really, we appreciate it," Moree added, iterating her point as she glared at Nimue, who finally settled down to sleep amongst the thick white hairs of Moree's mane.
