G H I S A Y E
The atmosphere of the general community within Breim seemed to be calm for a change. Ghisaye was amazed at how resilient these equines were. All sorts of events had transpired in recent days, but regardless the city still bustled, the market was still alive, and commerce still flowed as if it were a normal day. Ghisaye’s training had been going really well. She was making quite the impression on her superiors and in turn she had been assigned higher and higher level tasks and duties. She was burdened with glorious purpose, but it was a burden she carried with great ease and honour. It had recently been decreed that the members of the Watch were to fulfil a monthly quota of visiting a healer for general check-ups as well as psychologist, a shrink. Ghyisaye scoffed at the idea. She was not fond of laying her thoughts bare for another equine to probe and prod, but the quota had been laid down and Ghisaye followed orders no matter what they were.
Massive hooves carried her through the winding streets of Nariah. Her eyes were caught and lingered on the wonderful wares of the equines in the craftmaster’s square. She would soon visit the metal workers. She had her eyes on a set of Armor that would greatly benefit her duties.
Ghisaye emerged into the area known as the healing ward. Everything here seemed sterile. There were small shops littered about, but for the most part this ward consisted of doctor’s offices and the like. Ghisaye had been appointed to seek out a healer named Jaya. She didn’t know much about him, but he specialised in psychology. She was here with one goal in mind. Meet up with the healer, complete her session, and head back to headquarters. Soon her eyes found the quaint little tea shop. Jaya’s office was right above it. She nudged at the door and entered. A quaint little bell announced her arrival. The tea shop was warm and cosy. Ghi had been expecting silver and whites and sterile rooms, but this one was warm and homey. Her ears flicked about, uncertain for but a moment. She approached the equine behind the counter and cleared her throat. “Greetings. I’m here to see Jaya.”
