Cinnamon The mare watched as the others quickly started making their way towards the object, a quiet wave of relief rushing over her as she thought about the task at hoof. They'd deliver the object to the surface, she just knew it.
However, she didn't want to focus on the others for too long. Quietly turning her gaze to Gyda, the mare readied herself for what they both needed to do. The child needed help, and Cinnamon was going to make sure that the two got her to safety before things got worse.
"You ready to start moving?" She asked the other hippocampus before looking at the child. "Don't worry dear, we'll get you to the surface and I'll see what we can do to get you feeling better."
Her words were strong despite her slight panic. After the fall she and Daemyn took, the cleric had been in full mother-hen mode. She was worried about the child and wanted nothing more than to stop everything and check up on her... but the waters were dangerous, and staying down below for too much longer could prove fatal.
Even though her Goddess had seen the outcome the group would reach, Cinnamon herself was still concerned. Time was of the essence.
"Up we go."

Daemyn Guardian, Husband, and Father
Daemyn kept up with the hippocampi mares with relative ease, thanks to his nymphism blessing. He was moving with the ease of most hippocampi through the water and keeping a keen eye out for any immediate danger. Sharks and previously unknown sea predators were at the forefront of his mind which allowed Cascade's vision to strike him harder than he would like to admit. Or... perhaps he just had an open mind, one which was easy to infiltrate. No matter the reason, he saw the goal as clear as day, the golden laced orb suspended above the fissure.
Lulu spoke and Daemyn was quick to agree with a quick: "I have never seen this temple. Please! Lead the way! I will be right on your heels! "
Like the others, he was eager to find the pearl and return it to the surface as fast as possible. Something told him that if they didn't, this object would be forever lost in the depths of the sea. Lulu had been there before, that much he could read from her confident ways, and he was happy to let her take point, weaving in and out of the destruction all around them.
Daemyn did as he promised, staying right behind Lulu, swimming with all the urgency in the world. As they came upon the temple ruins his eyes widened, seeing the marvelous structure town in half. It was somehow painful to see but there was no time to adjust. The gold-veined orb was right there, teetering over the fissure, threatening to fall into the void and be gone forever.
"There! You see it? " Daemyn gasped at Lulu and Stormcry. Whatever the or truly was, it was safe and it would be brought back with them!

GYDA | TALORI | REDEEMER
'Cause I know I'm a sinner, but I could be a saint in your head; no I don't got religion, but I'll tip my hat to the dead.
Gyda tensed as Daemyn handed the young hippocampus over to her, for every ounce of her training screamed that they had broken standard, emergency protocol. But, she had to reason within herself, that there was little that they could do down here to help regardless, for even her training as a field medic had not covered underwater recovery beyond the obvious.
Sighing deeply, she looked down upon the child now nestled against her breast; noting the pale, lifeless tentacles that only moved with changes in the current - the sight did not raise her spirits, but she put on a brave face anyway.
"Hey there... Stay with me now, what's your name?"
Even as she spoke, her hooves itched to be around another bottle. Time almost seemed to stand still as the search continued on without them and the complacency made her restless, hopeless-
Then her vision goes white.
Images of a broken temple flood her mind, and an orb with veins of gold sits poised within it - this must be what they were meant to find, it had to be.
As the vision fades, she shakes her head and mutters a soft, “Aye...” at Cinnamon’s question and forces herself to swim with slow, deliberate strokes, rising to the surface in tandem with the other mare.

Ilhuicaatl | Talori Philosopher Ilhuicaatl lead the way, her small body darting around wreckage, forelegs tucked close to her body as the fin and water jets did their job to propel her quickly through the water. Her skin tingles and stings with increased irritation, and she is sure her mother will have a field day getting her patched up later. And finally, through the toxic muck and grime that floated through the underwater city, she caught a glimpse of gold hovering in the same spot the vision indicated it would be. And before she could mention it, Daemyn had alerted the two mares to the pearl and swam rapidly towards it. It looked so inconspicuous. But the size was deceiving. It didn’t look much smaller than she was, yet as she moved up to Daemyn and touched the gilded orb from below, she could feel the incredible weight it had. She knew it would take all three of them to carry it to safety. Looking to Daemyn and Stormcry, she spoke. “We need to do this together. It’s deceptively heavy.” She sounded a tad worried. “But we can do it,” She added with a hopeful note in her voice. “Let’s get out of here as fast as possible. And watch out for falling columns...trust me…” She will never forget that near death experience. 220 WordsPost #6
