There was something off.
That was the first thing he noticed, well not really noticed but more along the lines of feeling it. He had been feeling there was something off for a while but couldn't exactly place his hoof on it. The stallion had simply wanted to mark it off as his own paranoia and weariness from the long days of travel affecting him. One couldn't be too paranoid when a skirmisher, especially in these times. Enzo prided himself in his laid-back nature and not letting things get to him, this wouldn't get him entirely. He wouldn't let it.
The piebald horse had heard rumors and news coming in from other parts of Serora as his herd had traveled to Osulas in hopes of finding something to trade for. Times were tough and supplies were scarce. Family was the only thing some folks had and they had to make due. Thankfully things hadn't gotten that bad within his herd but he wasn't too sure how it was going to last.
Blue and brown eyes flitted over to the scene next to him, his herdmates were discussing their plan to search and conquer, look through all the stalls and try to obtain supplies. Seemed easy enough. His long ears perked up in alertness as he heard a familiar voice come up next to him from behind.
"We have things covered, things seem good here so you can go explore and see if you want anything Enzo. If we need ya, we'll give you a hollar." They informed him casually as he nodded.
"Sounds good." The skirmisher replied, watching as his herdmates soon splintered off and disappeared into the crowds.
Glancing around his surroundings, he let out a sigh and began to follow behind them quietly as he could. His eyes always on the lookout for someone or something that could pose a threat to the folks here and prayed Alya would soothe whatever was itching at his nerves.
