Kaito
Aodh | Servile slave
One moment Kaito was sort of sitting on and yelling to a horse his age, next thing he knew everything shifted and a truly huge cat -with some awesome fangs by the way- sat beneath him. If he wasn’t so scared out of his mind, he would call them cool and be impressed. As it was however he tried to scramble of off the giant creature, also yelling and cursing.
“What magic is this?!”
Less than stealthy that he was, a paw came flying towards him, Kaito hurrying to get further away. He failed, feeling a weight on his shoulder before being knocked over, one claw finding purchase in skin and inflicting a white hot pain. Kaito bit his lip to prevent from screaming as he sort of rolled out of the way and scrambled for safety. His shoulder was sore and blood ran hotly from his shoulder, but he managed, adrenaline making him not keel over in that moment. He looked around with wide eyes. Realizing he was still rather close and making to move - and push everyone while he was at it- away from the creature.
“That’s not a horse!” he yelled, as if that wasn’t obvious yet.

Things, quite literally, erupted as soon as the scoundrel who'd stolen the axe hit the ground. For one thing, Kaito seemed to loose himself as he flung himself at the winged teenager, shouting something about slavery and cascade. She was about to rush in to try and aid her slave in subduing the child (and attempt to calm Kaito down before he hurt anyone) when the child changed. Suddenly, instead of a scared looking pegasus, a saber toothed cat seemed to almost explode from the spot. Ripped from her momentary pause, she lept forward with a shout. "Kaito!" She didn't intend to end this night with anyone dead or dying, and the ferocity with which the sabertooth shapeshifter was attacking made her afraid of that possibility becoming reality. Zenia had beaten her to the punch it seemed, and was already trying to pull them apart.
What I wouldn't give for a long pole right now. She thought to herself, with a grumble as she craned her neck behind her to look at her incandescent sword, but maybe... The sheath would protect the both of them from being cut by the blade. Thinking quickly she unbuckled the scabbard from the belt on her waist, leaping forward again. In the time it took for her to figure out a plan of action however, it seemed that Kaito had managed to extract him from the current situation, and had scrambled backwards. Altering her plan, she swung instead to stand next to him, holding the sheathed sword out towards the Sabertooth, eyes literally glowing red hot as she prepared her blessing should he attack again. "No, that child is blessed." She growled, dropping her head into a defensive stance, waiting.

Wether it was the fact that the box was no longer chained to the floor, or if the lock was weakened when it fell from oliver's back, none could tell. Perhaps a loose stone on the road jostled the box in just the right manner, who could say. As Cyrene dragged the box, it began to shake violently, the axe inside causing the box to rattle against the cobblestones. Before anyone could do anything to restrain the box further, the lock breaks with the crack of broken metal. There was a pause, a single heartbeat, then...
BANG
The box's lid flew open and smashed against the cobblestones, the axe following suit as it shot into the air. Evalynn's wall of fire reflected off the axe's golden surface as it continued to sail through the night sky. Further and further away from the equine it flew, until it was but a speck in the distance...
It was headed towards Mt. Oriel

OLIVER He barely registered that one of his claws sunk into flesh, but as soon as the other horse scrambled free, he backed up. He hissed at the adult pointing at him with a scabbard and backed up some more, a growl rumbling from his chest. He didn’t really want to fight, he was just ready to get away from here and fast.
The chest suddenly wildly rumbling was enough to still the wildness of the beast, and he stared wide eyed as the chest flung open. Instinctively, he ducked flat to the ground as the axe went flying, then slowly rose when it headed for the sky. He blinked slowly, not quite believing his eyes. Well, there went that. It was enough of a plot twist to regain his self-control, and his form twisted once more, returning to pegasus. He stared for just a second, and then dashed for his saddlebag that had once more hit the ground when he was tackled earlier.
He grasped it with his teke, and swung it onto his neck as he spread his wings and pushed himself off the ground. He avoided the sea of flames, and took off as fast as he could. And if he was good at something, he was good at speedy take-offs. And it wasn't like the two other Scoundrels had helped him, so now they could just as well help themselves. He was so done, and would sure as hell run the other way if someone suggested something this stupid ever again.

A S I M Aodh Servile Slave
......
And just like that… it was over. Asim remained where he was even as the box snapped open and the axe flew into the air and went sailing through the night sky towards Mt. Oriel. He blinked, but, as the would be thief departed, he breathed a sigh of relief and turned a look on the young mistress he’d moved to protect. Thankfully, she didn’t need any actual protection, not that he wouldn’t have laid down his life to keep the family safe. He straightened and allowed his gaze to travel over the rest of those who were gathered, the excitement over… but there was still the matter of the flying axe. “I suppose someone should go get it…?” He asked, not at all volunteering himself for the task, but knowing full well that the sisters would probably want to go on a mission to retrieve what they’d been tasked with. A heavy sigh escaped him as he relaxed a little from the sudden excitement and set his mind about what was to come next. At least for now… it was over.

Evalynn | Blacksmith
Everything seemed to happen in the blink of an eye. At first, she was warning the teen thief off, hoping to reason with the boy. The next moment? Complete chaos. Kaito, whom she had sped by twice, decided to peel out of the house behind herself and Moonrise, and launch himself at the scoundrel. Evalynn's ears perked up as she heard Kaito screech about Cascade hunting the thief down, but before anything else happened, the Pegasus before her seemed to explode, his skin slipping from the form of a winged horse to that of a sabertooth. A shapeshifter! That's how the little shit had been able to get in undetected. Cyrene had pushed outside the house as well, and Evalynn planted her hooves wide, there was no way she was going to allow Cyrene past her. And yet, no sooner than Evalynn had been ready to call forth her lightning manipulation, that Zenia and Obed rushed forward, leaving open a space for Cyrene to slip past her. Evalynn's eyes widened as Cyrene zipped straight for the fallen box, and Evalynn was sure her heart would burst from fear for her child. Asim, bless that stallion, didn't even hesitate to bolt out, putting himself between Cyrene and the hissing and spitting pseudo-feline. Evalynn bunched her muscles, bounding out after Asim, only to skid to a stop right beside the retreating forms of Asim and Cyrene as the casket exploded open. Rearing up, Evalynn let out a feral whinny, ready to protect her charges, as well as her party goers. However, it seemed that the axe had ideas other than butchering those around it. As Evalynn dropped back onto all four hooves, the axe flew straight up before flying- far too fast for anyone to catch- straight for.. well if she wasn't mistaken, straight for Mt. Oriel. Swinging her head to the scoundrels, gaze infuriated, she watched as the shapeshifting stallion reverted back to his orginal form before taking to the sky, running away no doubt. Though her fire's still burned hot around her yard, Evalynn merely turned and bolted for Cyrene, pulling her child close, her head draping over Cyrene's back and she sighed softly. The night, though bad, could have ended so much worse. "Don't you ever do something as stupid as charging in towards a dangerous situation like that ever again. You're grounded... For... Forever."
