Gwen Farmer ---
Gwen felt her heart thud painfully against her ribcage as she looked up from the floor. But Runar wasn't looking at her anymore, his attention drawn elsewhere he stepped away. Gwen slowly stood, her legs trembling, her ribs bruised and the shock still rolling through her in waves.
Then suddenly the ground shook so violently that the unstable mare lost her footing once again. She could feel the rumble of the earth in her bones and new panic crashed through Gwen, making her whimper in fear. She had to get out of here, had to get away, get out!
The white mare scrambled to her feet and looked for the door. Just in time her eyes caught the movement of Twitch smashing a wooden table against Runar's backside. Gwen ducked her head to avoid the leg that broke off.
A sharp pain hit her shoulder, making her jump before she briefly glanced down at the sliver of wood now embedded in her skin. But adrenaline kept her from reacting any further, she just wanted to get OUT.
So she dashed for the door, not caring that it was also in Runars direction. Before the panicking mare could reach her freedom though a group of angry coats came crashing the party, acompanied by a few birds. Gwen desperatly tried to push her way through, but the goats were just as determined to get in, kicking and headbutting around them. Gwen was knocked to the side and to avoid the goats she flattened herself against the wall.
She looked into the room to see one of the birds knock itself into the Kirins face. What was going on!? The young mare flattened her ears and closed her eyes tight. Maybe it was just a horrible dream and it would all go away. But when she opened her eyes again there was still chaos. She now watched as the Kirin snarled and seemed to attack thin air, trying to bite something Gwen couldn't see.

Anna
Medic
The first thought that shattered through Anna’s head was for the children in the room, surprising as it may have been. The mother, Saoirse was quick though, her orders sending her children from the brunt of the commotion. The young unicorn, Chirin, would not be so easily persuaded though. The rumble caught the tiny mare’s attention though, and distractedly she filed away the information for later. Chirin appeared an asset for now.
The kirin also proved himself worthwhile in the fight, when, after the unfortunate (but somewhat amusing even given the degree of the situation) collision with incoming beasts. The way he turned, instantly snapping his teeth for the now invisible usurper was all well and good. Even the blind mare was providing some help, slamming the chair into the hindquarters of the stallion.
Now Anna was slammed back into the present, her worries crashing back in full force even though she had been distracted by the quick-paced events just prior. Anna shouted for the one horse that appeared most frightened. “Gwen!” She roared, only to notice quite quickly that the mare failed to react. Then her fright was more understandable, being deaf would put her at more of a disadvantage than the others. The mare flattened herself against the wall though, and Anna decided that perhaps for the time being she could wait.
Now the tiny medic turned, glancing about and finding what she was looking for. It was easy for her to slip away, and slip away she did. Into the kitchen. She shoved around quickly, finally locating what she was looking for. She hefted the bag of flour in her mouth and in part with her teke, quickly moving back to the main living room. She tore into the bag just enough and then, using what little strength she could muster, she let her teke take the bag up high, watching it rip, and then using her teke to move the increasingly lighter bag around the room; the fine white powder spreading itself over those in its path.

CAILYN (NPC) Cailyn was fast enough to duck from the way of Brom’s kick, but just barely. Seeing the bottoms of the large hooves had her backing up, and she turned invisible once more. Quick, but not quick enough, and the kirin’s teeth sank into her rump as she turned. With the adrenaline pumping she registered the pain poorly, and blindly kicked to get away as she got her feet underneath herself and darted further.
She was using the chaotic animal horde as a shield of sorts, trying to get closer to Runar for some back-up. She was stilled for a moment, the air suddenly filled with flour. Her eyes, mouth and ears seemed full of it in just a matter of seconds. For a very short moment there was an eerie form where the flour outlined an invisible horse. Then, there was a surge of power and the horse disappeared once more, and so did the closest goats and birds, too, still rampaging around and blindly running into anything that crossed their paths, just leaving a mess of trampled prints onto the floor.
She popped back into vision right before she tried to run head low into the small pony that had spread the flour, on her way to Runar.

RUNAR (NPC) The situation was evolving into a magnificent chaos, and he relished in it, although a small part of him was a little worried about Cailyn. The animals he had called forth were blindly and angrily flailing at everyone and everything – a bird practically exploding on the kirin’s face brought him particular joy, although out of out the individuals in the house, the kirin was the one he least wanted dead, still convinced in part that their return had Digend’s hoofprints all over it.
As the big stallion charged at him, Runar bared his own teeth, using his blessing to call the two closest goats to aid him, and they soon barged towards Brom as a single unit. The big stallion turned, and he made an attempt to rip at their neck, while the goats flailed somewhere around their feet. No time to check if there was damage, and the taste of blood already in his mouth from all the barging around, Runar spun around to see a cloud of flour, and the flickering form of Cailyn, and a few goats.
Again united with his companion, he nodded forward, trying to tackle the small medic as he went, and running past them, trying to grab at Saoirse to rend, rip and pull. He would be happy with anything – a nice clump of hair pulled loose would bleed well.
The goats, for their part, were driven into an even greater frenzy, now hopping onto furniture and horses and bleeting continuously.

So much was happening all too fast. Her herd was suddenly let in and were running wild around her house, knocking over furniture and making a mess of everything. The frenzied bleating coming from them only made it worse. Her thoughts flew back to her children; were they alright with Kirby? Would he be affected by this intruder’s blessing as well?
Saoirse didn’t have time to reflect long on it as thundering hooves made her look up, staring straight at Runar as he charged her. She froze, wishing she had her damn bow with her or even one of her husband’s swords.
She had no time to react as she took the full force of Runar’s attack, screaming into the already chaos filled air as his teeth tore into her flesh. The pain was searing hot as skin tore, Saoirse jerking her head away as he aimed for another vicious bite to her face. The mare stumbled back, wielding her sharp horn in his direction and almost daring for him to try again. Blood streamed from the open wound but Saoirse’s anger overwhelmed the pain as she glared at Runar, teeth bared and eyes icy.
“Who sent you?!” She demanded, her voice hoarse as she yelled over the chaos. “Why in Kaia’s name are you here?!”

Twitch | WF Farmer AKA The Cabbage QueenThe splintering wood of the table made it obvious that Twitch's attack had hit its mark, but given all the sounds and the chaos around her, it was hard to tell if it even had an impact. For a heartbeat she stood there, goats mulling around her. Her teke still clutched what was left of the chair. She scowled as a bleating goat repeatedly rammed at her shoulder.
Twitch turned her head as Anna left the room and returned, sensing at least one vibration that was distinct by size and distance alone. A few seconds, and Twitch realized what had happened. Being blind, Twitch didn't quite understand the use of flour in this moment. Unless Anna's goal was the make everyone sneeze, Twitch thought, puffing up dust as she fell into a fit herself.
She was oblivious to the specifics of what was happening, but could tell that the largest horse was kicking, someone was snapping teeth, and someone else still, just beside her, was plastered against a wall. Her tremor sense was making it even more confusing. Twitch cursed under her breath at her blindness. She wasn't useless! She was going to help.
That's why, when she felt a body fall away and being speeding towards Anna, Twitch intervened, albeit blindly.
Wielding her table leg, now jagged and shattered, the mare lowered her head and rammed through the farm animals. Let out a yell, she drove the stake forward towards Cailyn. Or at least, where Twitch projected her to be based on the hoofbeats...

CHIRIN ...... She can turn invisible. Of corse she can turn invisible!! Chirin had half the mind to spread hoar frost over the floor to track her hoof prints. A moments though made him change his mind. There were just to many horses in here to track her accurately. He was suddenly aware of a nagging and heavily unimpressed feeling in the back of his head. Casting a glance to the now open door, he caught the faintest glimps of Runar's tail dissapear outside. ---- Red eyes scanned the snow covered ground outside the home. A flock of skittish things stood huddled in a pen outside, though these ones were different than the ones his Stone Bearer kept. His attention was drawn to what he assumed was a door, opening and casting warm light over the pale white. He had noticed that lesser being enter the home with the Daughter of Kaia. However, his Stone Bearer wasn't hostile until the two had shown up. He was no alie. He slamed a foot forward in mock charge, a light ( to him) growl leaving his jaws. Just then he felt the lesser being make an attempt to touch his mind. How dare he!? He had the nerve to use one of lady Kaia's gifts against him!? None but the Godess or his Stone Bearer had the right to touch his mind. Gaster's loathing was cut short, however, when he noticed the lesser equine usher the flock into the home instead. He raised a stoney brow and reared his head back slightly. What on Kaia's earth? ---- Chirin couldn't help but utter a small laugh as the large Cultist brought in a flock of goats into the house. They were worked into a frenzy and were battering everything they could reach. Time to go to work! He whistled to Maple and the little dog lunged into action, chasing goat after goat into a corner of the house. As Maple herded a few more goats, she yelped as one of the horses in the room backed into her. It wasnt a real injury, it had just startled her. As Chirin watched the other fight, he remained focused on keeping the goats in the corner. He could only round up so many, only about half the herd, but it was less of an issue than before. Tonight was turning out to be an odd one. ---------------------------- Words: 396 | Post: 5

S I G L A V Y......
Siglavy didn't exactly bite down on what he had been aiming for, but with a glimmer of satisfaction and disgust regardless, his teeth sank deep into something smelly and wet that tasted absolutely awful (which turned out to be the intruder's soggy pelt) and then he met flesh. He felt the air swoosh past his legs as the unicorn kicked out wildly and twisted away from his grasp, leaving loose hairs in his mouth. The kirin drew in a sharp breath and promptly sneezed several times in a row as a fine cloud of flour suddenly filled his nose.
What the Fook, he thought, startled from his battle frenzy. The red cleared from his eyes a bit as goats continued to scream and run around the house, punctuated by shrill whinnies and the sound of a dog barking. The noise dug annoyingly into his skull, and he shook his head stiffly to try and ignore the feeling.
The faint smell of blood began to permeate the air as the War-Forged horses continued to try and evict the trespassers. Siglavy whirled on his heels and saw the unicorn flicker into view--at this point, it almost seemed as if everyone had a Blessing except for him.
You know, Ignacio, he thought with a twinge of frustration and jealousy, it would be kind of helpful if I were Blessed, too...
No time to dwell on that though.

Gwen Farmer ---
Gwen tried to catch her breath as she watched the chaos in the farmhouse. She was still plastered against the wall, trying to stay out of the frenzy. If only her strong father or brothers had been here, they would have known what to do. The white mare watched the Kirin as he bit into thin air, but then definitely made contact with something. She didn’t understand how.
Suddenly a cloud of flour emerged from the ceiling, slowly raining down on everyone. Gwen’s eyes grew huge with terror as she spotted the spooky outline of a horse in the flour. Then it disappeared, along with the nearest goats and birds. The young mare gasped, her gaze darting through the room. They could go invisible!? She had never felt this terrified in her life.
Gwen glanced at the blue roan who was standing not far from her. The small mare was twisting her head and moving her ears as she listened to what was going on, her thick mane still covering her eyes. When the flour reached them Twitch sneezed and her body language was obvious enough that Gwen could see her irritation and frustration.
Gwen suddenly recognized something and realized that Twitch might be blind. Shame immediately shot through the deaf mare as she remembered her negative thoughts about Twitch’s long mane. She should help the small horse, try to escape this house of horrors together. But before Gwen could even finish the thought Twitch jumped forward, charging with the broken table leg she was still holding. Gwen was left behind, astonished and perplexed.
She should help too. She wanted to be useful. The white mare looked around and used her teke to grab one of the bigger pieces that was left from the wooden table. Her brown eyes found Runar, who was facing a wounded but feisty Saoirse. Gwen hesitated for a moment longer, she held her breath as she aimed for the strange stallion and threw the piece of wood with all she had.

CAILYN (NPC) Her ears pinned, Cailyn kept her aim towards the miniature horse. Her teeth were bared, but she could barely hit when a piece of what looked like a table leg came towards her at an alarming speed. It wasn’t aimed perfectly, but it still forced her to duck as her shoulder got scraped. She kicked towards Anna as she leaped further, watching the magnificent chaos. She tried to tag closer to Runar once more, searching for his gaze. While she still would have liked a bit more of the taste of blood, she was also feeling winded and attacked. Maybe they had given Digend enough chaos for tonight. They could still leave with the skins somewhat on their backs, now when she still had some charge left in her blessing.
Dodging the rest of the chaos, she jumped closer to her companion and nodded towards the door. It was little use trying to yell over the madness, and she didn’t exactly want to cue everyone in to their departure. Her shoulder pressed against Runar’s, and in another surge of energy both horses disappeared from sight and towards the still open door.

RUNAR (NPC) The taste of blood on his tongue was iron and copper – not pleasant in the least, but he had taught himself to enjoy it. The mare was wounded, the scar would take time to heal, even with medical supplies. Runar got slashed on the cheek and chest by her horn for his troubles, but the cuts, while bleeding prettily enough, were not dangerous. He’d been cut enough times to know. The question was as endearing as it was ridiculous. Who sent them? Oh, these naïve children of Kaia. “Chaos sent us. We are of Digend, and Digend is of us”, he replies proudly, and although he shouts, the tone is still soft, friendly. Jovial, even, like they were having this chat at a nice bar, not while trying to kill one another.
He saw the same improvised weapon – a table leg – fly again that had earlier hit him as well, and soon enough, the mare he had started this night’s rampage with, started throwing pieces at him. It hit him painfully like a spear, but he had enough time to turn his shoulder to it, making the piece of wood jut painfully, but not dangerously, out of his skin. Darned farmers were getting bolder, and they were only two.
His eyes found Cailyn, and without a word, he moved to her, kicking at the herding dog as he went, and also killing one of the goats with an effortless, yet messy hit squarely in the face. Yes, it was time to leave. Digend would be provided for by others, certainly, and chaos had already been raised in his name. Mistrust, too. The stolen supplies were a bonus.
Moving next to his friend, he too vanished, and they headed out shoulder to shoulder. A trail of droplets of blood followed them, and as Runar’s distance to the village grew, the goats became less panicked, now seeming merely confused, and began to eat everything in sight, as goats are to do. He aimed his blessing at the Lindworm Golem a second time, not even attempting to truly wrest control of the creature, but merely distracting it for a while. When his touch faded, the cultists were already far off, swallowed once more by the winter night.

CHIRIN The colt caught only a few of Runars words before the two strangers left out tge way they had come. Cultists? What was a Cultist? He knew who the Vagabonds were, but he had never heard of a Cultist. And who was Diegend? He didn't sound like a God. There was a rolling roar from outside, like the sound of a massive rock slide. Gaster? GASTER! Oh no! No, no, no!! The colt turned around and bolted past the old Raider and the pretty unicorn with the crystal horn, " Sorry! Excuse me!" he said as he ran out the door, " Gaster! Gaster no!" The Lindworn was furious. Gaster was a proud creature and didn't much apprechiate being toyed with. Chirin had felt his uncharacteristic confusion as the two Cultists had left. He was always so focused, so vigilant. He doubted the stone serpent didn't see the Cultists leave. He ran through the snow to stand infront of the giant, " Gaster they are gone!" he told him, looking the Golem in the eyes, " Calm down please." Chirin took a few deep breaths, calming himself at the same time. He watched as the large shoulders of the beast relaxed as the storm blew on. Gaster huffed a cloud of rock dust through his nose and began to walk forward. He maneuvered his body to sheild the house from some of the wind as Chirin walked back inside. He had the polite mind to knock his hooves against a railing post to rid them of the snow before going in. The colt looked at the state of the house. Flour was strewn all over the floor, furniture lay in peices as well as a single dead goat. The house looked horrible. He cast a sympathetic look to the hostess, seeing the blood on her, " Umm... Gaster is going to guard the house. Miss, i'd be more than willing to help you clean up before we head home." --------------------- Words: 324 | Post: 6
