Crescent|Serora Warder
Crescent felt her throats close up as the child moved forwards. Then came the slash across the throat. A scream was ripped from her throat, scythe flashing as she launched herself after the child. Her fury ripened and drove forwards, a thundering train against her conscious thought. She whirled again and again, trying to help, trying to just do one thing.
She could do nothing. Her stomach twisted and turned as she cried out in helpless anger. She threw dirt every which way she turned, tail sweeping the air behind her as she paced relentlessly. Her hooves struck the ground again and again and again. She reared, lashing out, screaming to the sky above to just let her help them. The sky offered no answer, and as the vision faded, Crescent was left trembling, her forelock covering her eyes. Tears dropped off her muzzle, ears flattened against her head.
Then the voice, rolling through her mind. She whirled, hoof striking the ground.
"How do we fight it?! Can we fight it?!" Her voice, tinged with frustration and weighed down by a grief that had settled across the young mare's shoulders like six bags of sand.
"Can we even fight it?!" She choked out, her emotions being sucked from her in a vacuum. Tears continued to drip from her eyes, mouth pulled into an anguished frown.

◇ KILORN ◇ warder | stallion | he/him
- After everything that had just occurred Kilorn was rather unwilling to run towards the unseen, wailing child. He understood Crescent's immediate reaction to but he also got the feeling something was off, much like Tahla. For once the analytic stallion had no plan, no running idea of what to do. Something was wrong here, and he didn't know what or how to combat it. The fact that he had no idea caused him to simply stay a continue to try and shake off his earlier episode. Dirt still smeared his face as he stood, somewhat dazed, with the rest of them. They weren't still for long though, as a heavy fog that clouded his senses closed in. He stayed with the rest of the group only through is teke and once they all stopped a pegasus landed before them, broken and shallowly breathing. Before Kilorn can offer any assistance to the pegasus, a small kirin child appeared with a dagger. Kilorn did not expect for the small child to slice the pegasus's throat but it did. The child ran away afterwards, leaving Ki in shock. Even the children are murderers. As the scenes unfolded before their eyes Kilorn did not move, he was too dumbstruck to move. All of the destruction, and killing. The kirins smiled as brightly as their scales as their victims fell, unabashedly proud of their killing.
- Soon it all was over and the darkness was receding, but Kilorn was still staring in the area in which the kirin child went. How could a mere child, so small, be a part of this? Kilorn could not comprehend the determined and gory violence of this child. Unless, Kirins were born to kill. They must be, kirins were the spawn of Ignacio after all. Kilorn almost didn't notice the large Zesla until it was among the group. He noticed the patterns of Alya and the starry eyes as markers that this was definitely not a normal Zesla. He wanted to bow or something to it, but wasn't sure what to do besides meet the animal's gaze. As it's words echoed in Kilorn's mind, the pieces fit together. This.. messenger had brought them visions of the God's war. It was telling them that Kirins were eradicated. Kilorn spoke to it calmly as he looked into it's eyes, and there was no sign it saw them but instead all of the stars stared back at him as he said, "So what must be done with them?"

Cardinal it will try to change; it will clamor for clarity word count: 291 | reference | i feel god in this chili's tonight - post 5
Time slowed as that deep awoken power stirred the air once more, thickening it with black smog that stole away the blue sky above the Oasis. Cardinal's stomach lurched painfully, threatening to empty his humble breakfast out onto the smoky floor that curled about their hooves. The barrage of information was endless, merciless. With the cries of the dying still ringing like the aftermath of an explosion in his ears, the Councillor could only look on in wet-cheeked horror as the next scene played out before them - the weeping child a murderer now, the mangled pegasus emptied of blood and life. Across the circle expanse, Crescent began to lose it - her scythe swung in rabid and deadly slashes through the darkness where only the ghost of a memory had been before. An aspect of divinity stepped into the circle. The stars in its unearthly form glittered and wheeled like the night sky that he had spent so many hours in Nico's company perusing - Familiar constellations warmed something in his mind. Quite suddenly, Cardinal felt his blessing stir, awakening in the presence of the Zesla as though commanded. It brought a sense of calm and stillness to flood his maddened senses, and all in an instant, the previously weeping Councillor was at peace. His red eyes narrowed and grew sharply focused, and without hesitance he fell to one knee before the messenger. He met the whirling cosmic eyes and felt an emptiness, and an understanding. A lifetime's worth of study began to slip and fall into place. Behind the impervious warmth of his blessing, the broken mind was static and quiet. "Show me more," He implored the phantasmal creature in a hoarse, gravelly voice, certain now of its celestiality. "Show me everything."

Leviticus|Heavy Hoof|Senora
Leviticus was hearing the child he would stop pacing. He wanted to take action now. He would raise a brow as his ear would rotate his ear. He would see Crescent start to run off towards the voice then Cardinal went after. He didn't think leaving a group was the best idea. He would move closer to the rest though it started to go black.
He would pause and back up touching who ever was close with his hip. Then the chaos unfolded with child kirin killing the pegasus and unicorns. His eyes widen with the sight he wasn't sure why this was happening. This is not what he thought would happen at Oasis. His mouth was a gape as he saw the things unfold.
The being infront of him with bright cosmic eyes. He would stare at them. He wanted to know more about this being what this being is all about. He kept quiet and in thought were they trying to tell them something. "who are you.Are you hera to help us?" he would ask in a low tone.

Tahla | Stallion | Councillor
Though physically they all stood together, strong and unharmed, Tahla knew the impressions the visions they had just witnessed ran deep. They stood together, numbly, supporting each other in silence until the disturbing cry of a child cut through the tension, propelling Crescent forward with frantic cries of reassurance. Tahla automatically lurched forward to follow after his herd mate, but the ref-winged Warder was quick on her hooves, moving forward before he had a chance to intercept.
"Stay sharp," was all he managed to bark before Katarina disappeared after their comrade.
Minutes or seconds passed -he was unsure how time moved in that moment- something encroached upon the land. Silence, darkness, they invaded the very air around them, plunging the oasis into a plateau of nothingness, stealing the very words from their mouths as it descended. Without communication Tahla stumbled forward, using his teke to at least feel the comforting presence of his herd mates surrounding him, weak eyes scanning for any signs of their missing comrades. It was a scream that finally broke the unearthly silence, piercing the air as they watched as the pegasus from earler crash into the earth, obviously injured as they struggled to stand. Tahla found himself rigidly trapped in place, entranced with horror as a child darted forward, stealing the pegasus' life with no more than a slice of a blade. Then, it was though chaos itself was released.
Visions of kirins flooded the area, and with utter alarm, Tahla realized some appeared strikingly familiar. They poured into the field, slaughtering without mercy, without remorse. Hoards of unicorns and pegasi fell victim to their blessings and blades, falling limp against the unforgiving ground. No words seemed to describe the horror of the situation, and Tahla was left frozen, wide eyed as he watched the battle play out before his eyes. Not even the warning stories he had been recited as a child managed to capture the true terror of the history that unfolded before them.
At last, the visions faded away. From the remnants of the images emerged a new creature, seemingly manifested from the stars themselves. Alongside him, his fellow Councillor dropped to his knees, and if not for the stiffness that radiated throughout his own joints, Tahla would admit he was tempted to join him.
"Why have you shown us this?" Tahla breathed, the words rising almost unbidden from his throat. It was a question that they needed to ask, but with the images of even the youngest of kirins proven merciless murderers pressed at the forefront of his mind, he could not help but dread any answer that may be revealed.

It was almost comical how deadly the kirin foal was. How skilled t was at killing, as if this was the only thing it knew.. This probably was the only thing the foal knew, Aragon realized. It took a few moments to pull herself together. Watching the celestial Zesla, that looks like a heavens sent messenger, appear and show them such terrible and bloody images. A shudder passed through Aragon's spine. That battle was unfair. That battle was not a fight but a slaughter. A genocide carried out by the kirins. The bay roan straightened herself and steeled her nerves. She was a warrior for Serora damn it, war would not scare her. This massacre would not make her shake in her hooves. She saw Cardinal bow, the others words did not reach her small ears. She watched, feeling distant as Cresent showed signs of rage. But there was nothing to be done.
Aragon copied Cardinal, but did not stay n her knee. Once she finished the bow she stood up, two important question on her mind "When did this happen?:" There was one "Will this happen again?" There was the second. Her voice had been surprisingly steady as she asked the creature, periwinkle eyes meeting its own, shining with determination.

The zesla waits. Galaxies spin silently in their gaze as stars brighten and burst. It seems an eternity as it waits for some hint of acceptance in your mortal reactions. There’s a gentleness in the grace it allows you. Your questions fall into silence, but their posture is attentive. You are heard. Still it waits. As the last question fades into the air, it shifts. THEY WERE REMADE. The cosmos seeps from their skin. Nebulas bloom around you as the Starscape overlays reality. It assumes your vision until you stand suspended in the void. You are not alone. The zesla still stands with you, edged by a faint light. Beyond it, two deities tower. One, the dark fire, crowned with antlers and flame you recognize as Ignacio. The other, you recognize, perhaps with shock, as the earth mother, Kaia. They speak but the words are beyond your hearing--you are only able to catch their tones, quick and low, yet amiable. It was only a moment ago that you saw kirins murder unicorns and pegasi alike with wild abandon. Now you see, between the two gods, the creatures called back to existence. A soul solidifies, drawing from the aether to form itself under their gaze. It cries out and you recognize the gold coat and blue scales before it is sent away to the surface. THROUGH TREACHERY, THEY WERE REMADE. The zesla repeats, as if narrating the scene. It turns to look at you and you wonder if there is pain now in its expression. The stars begin to whirl as if being churned by wingbeats that span the universe. The sky mother, still resplendent in her gold coat and blue striped wings, comes flying. Her face burned with with rage and hurt and terror at the betrayal she was not swift enough to prevent. The howl Alya bellows at them is drenched in her disgust and despair. She will not abide another genocide. She will not watch her people die. Not again. With barely a breath of hesitation, she attacks them. It is a battle of titans. Kaia and Ignacio stand their ground, wielding the weapons of fire and earth. Alya calls the powers of space and sky and sound and she fights fiercely, with a determination drawn from the very depths of her divinity. Even still, she finds their united force too much to bear. She begins to falter as Ignacio slices at her with bright, holy fire and the wound weeps pale radiance. Kaia draws meteors to pummel her skin and Alya cries out as each impact rends her. She is shrieking now, a keening sound of sorrow that reverberates through the empty vacuum. At the last, Ignacio envelops her in light and she burns, screaming. She scatters into stardust. The matter of her spreads throughout the universe, sentient but dispersed, a distant consciousness that struggles to remember the very concept of self. Alya rebuilds herself slowly, overseeing her own rebirth. But it takes precious time. Painstakingly, she returns, drawing her winds into her lungs with her new gasping breath. She unfurls her four wings and they are now the sky. A song is heard in the heavens and in your hearts. Softly, reality reasserts itself, bleeding through the vision until it has blurred and then bled away. Only the Zesla remains, but now its eyes are clear and blue and piercing. I HAVE ONLY EVER LOVED YOU, MY CHILDREN. It is a voice your soul recognizes from every breeze in the desert, from every song you’ve sung in prayer. Alya. The zesla’s face is creased with gentle devotion, a smile curving its beaked mouth. Slowly, as if reluctant to leave once more after all she had done to return, even its form fades. Now only you stand in her Oasis.

Crescent|Serora Warder| "Friendship ended with Kaia Alya is my new best friend"
It was horrible. Crescent waited. And waited. Her peers questioned, but she only had eyes and ears for the zelsa.
And it spoke. A tale of rebirth reverberating through Crescent's skull. Her teeth were set on edge as the starscape opened in front of her. The terrible form of Ignacio and...her heart jumped.
Kaia. A goddess she had worshipped. Her opinion soured, her lip giving an angry curl. Kaia helped Ignacio bring those...those murderers back. And for what? Some brownie points with a fucking idiot? The kirins should have stayed dead. They deserved it. And then came the howl of Alya. It reverberated within Crescent's chest, her heart reaching out at the betrayal. Emotions she knew all too well. Her jaw set into a determined line, ears flattened. Ignacio and Kaia were fighting Alya and her opinion of the earth goddess sank even lower. How dare she. How fucking dare she?! She shouldn't care! She should hate them too! They murdered her children! Her unicorns were suffering because of the scaled fiends and she brought them back ?! Crescent snorted, loud and reverberating across the starscape.
Alya shattered and Crescent felt her heart stop. Murder! That was murder! A shout curled from the mare as she reared, snapping her teeth together in aggression and misplaced energy. But Alya came back into form, brilliant, resplendent. Crescent immediately calmed.
The starscape bled away. Alya spoke. Crescent's love for her goddess only grew. She puffed out her chest, tears long since dried up. Her tail flagged, flicking against her legs. Her goddess vanished, but her love remained, Crescent's heart pounding away in her chest.
"Im gonna show those no good lizards a thing or two. " She muttered, mostly to herself. She struck the ground with a hoof, as if sealing the deal. It was done. Crescent would never trust a kirin again. Any hint of scales would cause immediate distrust, if not outright aggression.
She turned her attention to her little band of merry people. Alya was pretty great huh?

Aragon watched with intense curiosity. Her whole body seemed to lean into the out of this word Zelsa's words. And as the scenery shifted Aragon watched, perched like a bird waiting for a sign to fly. Seeing the gods before her gave her mixed reactions. Seeing Ignacio's dark form first, Aragon wanted to run at the Lord. SHe wanted his blood coating her horns in return for taking her mothers life from this world much too soon. Yet seeing Kaia, mother of earth. Aragon's heart hurt. How could Kaia speak to this wrenched god?
When the divine beast looked to the small herd again Aragon looked to it, she needed to know why Kaia talked to Ignacio, why she did not see him as a treacherous snake. The next scene was hard to watch. Years ago Aragon resented Alya. Only recently had she finally let go of the hatred and anger inside her heart for the goddess. Aragon winced as she watched Ignacio and Kaia beat on Alya. The hysterics of it all.
As the scene ended and the divine Zelsa looked back at them and spoke. Aragon felt at peace, knowing in the end, Alya was alive. The other gods tried to keep her down but could not, an important message for the desert dwellers to remember.
"Thank you." Aragon said, her tone was strong and truly grateful to the beast.

Cardinal it will try to change; it will clamor for clarity word count: 431 | reference | post 6
The next vision came on slowly, and it began with the zesla and an endless, open galaxy of uncountable stars. It was a singularly estranging sensation, Cardinal thought as he drifted weightlessly, a single consciousness in the impossible vastness of the celestial plane. It would be so easy to lose oneself here, scatter out among the stars, forget all it was he had seen and heard - so much pain, so much suffering. The visions had come to them with the mind-shattering blow of a holy hammer, and behind the golden warmth of his blessing the councillor was broken. But they weren't alone in the glittering void after all, for this was the realm of gods. Ignacio and Kaia were larger than life, impossibly large. The rational mind within promised him that what he saw, the omnipotent awe he felt, was a fraction only of the might that a mortal being in the presence of their creators might know. So dense was the information of the vision that he could see their elements born within them - earth and fire, fire and earth. As he watched them create the kirin, he struggled to understand the significance of what seemed a world-breaking event. Then Alya came, and in the vision they saw through the window of her fury, and it stole darkly into his heart and consumed him; So much righteous anger, so much rending sorrow. The taste of betrayal was sharp on his lips, rusty like blood. He watched helplessly as his goddess was destroyed, and just as impotently as she built herself back from the material of the cosmos, immortal and radiant. The brevity of understanding filled him brimming, a dry well overrun by the first torrential rain of the wet season. Soaking in her celestial ambiance, gilded by all it was that he had seen, Cardinal felt something change deep inside of his heart. It felt like divine purpose. They returned to the mortal realm as the vision faded. The zesla, so clearly now a vessel for the Sky Mother, telepathically spoke with the unmistakably tender voice of the patron god that Sedo had been missing - once they thought themselves abandoned, but now with the truth lain bare before him Cardinal could see it much clearer. He said nothing as the creature faded and the sounds of the Oasis, muted and calm, resumed around them. Somewhere nearby a white-winged bird rose into the sky, joined by a flock of its fellows. His eyes staring and his heart both vacant and terribly full, the councillor watched their arc up into the blue.
