Ozzer | Outsider
In the seconds between when he felt it and when they other could, Ozzer had spun around, preparing to give strict instructions for the others to follow. But the earth was moving faster than he could, and the trembling had now reached the surface and everyone else's senses. His first thought was to yell for Cecillia to grab onto Ciel for safety, but the smaller stallion was already covering it. He was glad for the other horse's quick thinking, but his last words made his ears whip back - both as a show of irritation and to subconsciously hide them. He wanted to yell back that the earth was always moving - it could always be heard and felt if one only listened. But when it decided to collapse, it did so at a speed much beyond anyone's hearing. As if following his thinking small pebbles began falling from above them, scattered with particles of sand and rocks that were quickly clouding the air. Ciel's words had sparked a feeling of shame in the guide, unable to keep his charges safe, but this was no time to dwell on his feelings of inadequacy or send back sharp remarks. No more than a minute had passed since he first felt the trembling, and everyone had reacted. "The tunnel is collapsing!" he called, both in response to Aremis and simply as an announcement. Already the falling rocks were growing larger and larger. He ran up next to the priest, using his own body to try and keep the priest steady. "Everybody MOVE!" he called, his fear manifesting as anger in his chest and in his voice. He was trying in vain to determine through the quaking ground which way the cracks were moving - was it safer to move forward or backward? But he couldn't tell. His blessing was not so powerful as of yet, and the trembling deep within him was much too strong now to understand the ground's movement anymore than the others could. The trembling was becoming overwhelming, his organs themselves feeling as if they were quaking as his body picked up every quiver of the ground and magnified it. "MOVE NOW!" He couldn't tell them which way to move. He just hoped that if they went one way or the other they would make it out from under the range of the falling rocks. One particularly large rock caught his eye, falling straight for Semora. He jumped to shove her out of the way, but was not quite sure if he made contact with her. All he knew was that only a brief moment passed before everything was still. The earth quieted, except for the occasional hiss of some falling sand. The dust was settling. He blinked his eyes rapidly, trying to determine who, if anyone, had survived. What kind of guide would he be if he had gotten them killed? The thought struck his stomach hard, but he shoved it away as familiar coats began to shift among the rubble. But, try as he might, he couldn't find everyone. "Oh, gods," he whispered, closing his eyes tight shut for a brief second. "Are you alright?" he addressed his remaining companions. Both of the medicine horses were gone, so if any of them were hurt it would be up to him to help them as he could. (Post 6: 556 words)

Checkpoint2// As you reach the bend that leads to your final destination, you feel the ground begin to tremble. It is subtle at first, like a cool hum against your hooves as pebbles bounce across the ridged cavern floor. But things quickly turn to madness as the tremble deepens and balance begins to dissipate. It takes only second for you to understand your predicament: the tunnel is collapsing. You must move quickly before you are crushed by the falling debris but in the chaos, your party is split leaving the now two groups on either side of the rock wall.

Semora looked to Ozzer for guidance in where to go as he told them the tunnel was collapsing. The trembling of the tunnel was rapidly growing faster and more aggressive causing dust and rocks to start falling onto the horses. Semora Broke into a run as Ozzer started to lead them out of the tunnel rapidly. She could see only a few horses behind her, she bit her lip in nervousness as she attempted to outrun the falling debris.
She stopped for a moment to gather her breath and try to see the others whom she had lost sight of. In that moment she heard crumbling above her head and looked up to see a very large rock loosened its hold on the cave ceiling and went to fall right over Semora’s head. Semora froze in fear and awaited the impact, when all of a sudden a body rammed into hers causing her to be pushed out of the way of the rock and onto the hard floor. Semora’s vision went black and everything got quiet as soon as her head hit the ground .
When her vision finally cleared she winced in pain and sat up. She glanced around and only saw a few bodies moving, the only one she could actually make out was Ozzer. When Ozzer addressed them she nodded ”yes, I just hit my head but I will be fine, are you okay? Where are the others?” She said to ozzer quietly.

Aremis l Priest
Aremis tried to stay close to Ozzer as they ran, grateful for his body helping to steady him (Although there was no time to thank him) but he quickly began to fall behind. He wanted to help the others but what could he do? They were all seperated and running for their lives. He could hear screams, the sound of thundering rocks, a heavy thud ahead of him. His eyes were wide as his heart was rattling in his chest. Did Argus do this or was this just nature? Did this mean anything?
When everything cleared and the rocks seemed to stop falling, Aremis found himself on the ground with a pain shooting up his leg. When he turned his head to see he realized that it was trapped between two rocks. He gritted his teeth as he struggled and on his own managed to jerk his limb free. It didn't seem broken, just grazed and bruised and he was able to stand with only a slight limp. The priest shook his head free from a daze before heading over to Semora and Ozzer-He gently nudged the mares head.
"I'm fine just shaken" He admitted. "Did everyone make it?" His heart felt like it was in his stomach. "No..."

Cecillia | Royal family
It was all around confusion as the ground shifted and shook. When Ciel appeared next to her, Cecillia was quick to grab on to him, slightly soothed by his reassurances. It only lasted for moments though as Ozzer yelled their tunnel was collapsing. Collapsing! The filly didn't know what to do, not sure where to go and having completely lost her orientation in the mess that was everyone trying to get to safety. She held on to the doctor as tightly as she could, trying to be brave and keep from shaking as they moved, but then a boulder came down a bit too close. Cecillia yelled, startled, promptly loosing her grip on Ciel as he too disappeared off grid. Now she was truly scared.
She wasn't sure how she got herself safe, but she did, somewhat, as she -quite literally- blindly broke into a run, jumping and twisting with the sole thought on her mind to somehow get out safe. Luck seemed to be on her side though 'cause after she ran into a wall after trying to dodge a rock coming down next to her, the earth seemed to settle. Dazed she lay there for a second before beginning to sniffle.
Ozzer's voice reached her ears and she cried harder. Firstly because she was happy to hear someone's voice, secondly because she wasn't fine. She was scared and disorientated, didn't know where Ciel was and she hurt in several places where falling rubble had scraped her as well as from running into the wall. It was nothing major, but the filly wasn't used to it. She didn't dare move either, afraid the shifting would cause another round off chaos.

Ozzer | Outsider
Semora's and Aremis's voices, though stressed, eased Ozzer's mind. It was one thing to see someone moving, but another to have vocal reassurance of their safety. He let out a sigh of relief that he didn't realize he'd been holding. "I am fine, thank you," he said to Semora, not yet answering her second question that Aremis echoed. They were all devastated at the loss of the two healers, but he knew none more so than the little filly, whose quiet sobs filled the tense silence. He walked slowly over to her, not knowing what to say. He felt that it needn't be said that two were completely missing, but the blind filly might not know this quite yet. Perhaps she just thought Ciel was hurt, and incapable of speech. The donkey gently nudged the pale neck, now turned a dusty brown. "Can you stand?" he asked her quietly. "If you can, I must ask you to rise. We should not stay here long." Ozzer didn't add "because the rocks are still unstable, and may give way again." He did not want to frighten the child any more. He could still feel the earth settling. Large rocks shifted every so slightly into their new resting places, and smaller pieces continued to fall with small clicks to the floor. The collapse had been large, and spanned quite a ways down the tunnel. This explained why even Ciel's loud voice, now crying out on the other side of the rocks, did not reach their ears. But Ozzer could feel the movement. He felt the sudden tiny beats of Ciel's hooves against rock, followed more slowly by Blaine's. The relief that washed over him now had never been matched before in his life. His stomach unknotted, and he felt suddenly dizzy. He closed his eyes briefly, focusing intently on the feel of their hoof beats, pleased just to know they were there. "Ciel and Blaine are alive," he quickly passed the news on to the others. It would help them all to recover knowing this fact. "They are on the other side of the rocks, but they are alive." This didn't mean that they were ok. They were more than likely hurt, just as Ozzer and his group were, but they were at least up and moving. He just hoped they could find their way back home, or find another way to the temple. There were other minor tunnels that led to it, if they remembered his advice about the water, but they would be difficult to find. But either option was better than lying dead under the rocks. The adrenaline was wearing off, and Ozzer suddenly realized now how sore he was in some places. He wasn't surprised though. It would be a miracle to make it out of such a rockfall with some scrapes and bruises. Twisting his head around he reached his nose into his saddlebag, noting briefly the rips it had gained from the rocks. Pulling out a few herbs, those simple remedies that he carried, he passed them out. "Eat these, they should help. Willow bark to relieve any soreness, and valerian root for the nerves." He ate some himself, before stowing away the leftovers. More than ever he now felt that he had to act as a strong presence, and he needed to get them moving. "As soon as everyone is ok to move, we should continue on to the temple." He guessed the horses now, more than ever, had some serious questions for their god. "If Ciel and Blaine do not meet us there, then I will leave you there for a while to try and come back to find them."
The donkey stood next to Cecilia, ready to personally direct her if necessary now that Ciel was gone. Once everyone was ready to go, he started forward, their pace slower than before. (Post 7: 647 words)

Aremis quickly chewed, he could hear the urgency in Ozzer's voice-they had to get going even though he felt like it was wrong to leave Ciel and Blaine like this, he desperately wanted to try to kick down all of the rocks separating them but he couldn't. The herbs were already starting to work, his limbs felt warm and light. "If anyone is having trouble they can lean on me" He offered before trailing behind Ozzer. It wouldn't be far left, he was sure that he could make it thanks to the herbs. They could have all so easily died in that earthquake, he was grateful that they hadn't. This journey wouldn't be something he would be able to easily forget. "Is Argus mad at us?" He wasn't asking anyone in particular it had just slipped out but it was something weighing heavily on his mind.
"Maybe he doesn't want us to be here..." He stopped himself before he said anymore. He was silently scolding himself for saying anything bad about the god that he served and worshiped so deeply.
This has happened for a reason
Argus wouldn't hurt us
He will talk to us

Cecillia | Royal family
Cecillia tensed for a moment when Ozzer touched her neck, before relaxing. It was okay, she told herself, Ozzer was their guide, he knew this tunnels, so if he said it was okay, it surely was. She nodded softly at his question, trying to stifle her sobs. She was a royal, she reminded herself, one of her tasks to lend her herd strength and courage in difficult times. "Y-yes, sir." She trembled a little and stood, making sure to move closer to the donkey. She told herself to be brave, but in all honesty she was afraid still and didn't want to risk loosing anyone.
At Ozzer's announcement, she breathed a deep sigh of relief, her eyes watering a little again. "R-really? How c-can you tell?" He said there were rocks after all, she was pretty confident horses could not see through rocks...could they? She supposed she never asked or wondered. Her nose wrinkled as she was given herbs to eat. They didn't taste very good, but she quickly chewed without complaint. She was about to ask how they were gonna get Ciel and the other horse back, but Ozzer beat her with explaining what he planned. As he set forward, she kept close, from time to time brushing his side as reassurance he was still there.
Aremis' question surprised and scared her a bit. "Why would he, we didn't do anything wrong, right? Argus is good, right? Mom said so. Kaia's too. They wouldn't just hurt us, right?" The thought of all powerful beings wanting to do so, made swallow thickly. She wanted to be reassured.
